Greetings from SeekerMeeker.

A lot has happened, but I won't get into details. If you are curious, you can contact me via DeviantArt as "Seekerlano."

This is a very short story, just in order to rejuvenate myself back into writing.

Cover art is by JMX86. It is actually a part of the comic commission on DeviantArt.

"…"

An average boy with light orange hair stood by, hidden partly by a green hat with a brown spot and a larger pink spot on the left side. Dressed in a semi-formal outfit, topped with a pink bowtie on his chest, the boy stared in the distance.

He was watching her.

A tall girl with dark yet nice skin sat on a bench. Dressed in a distinct blue dress, ironically contrasted with her yellow shoes, she sported bushy, brown hair tied into a ponytail. She stared into her phone with a sad face; apparently, as the boy deduced correctly, her partner did not show up for the dance, especially a PROM dance.

"Anna," he spoke, coming towards her. He stretched out his right hand.

She looked up with a stunned expression. Her dress, her face, and her hair somehow seemed to stand out, making the boy blush a little.

"Wanna dance with me?" he asked with only a little hesitance, eyes looking away due to awkwardness.

Her jaw dropped for a moment, then turned into a wide smile.

"Twig!" she replied. "I love too!"

"Since your partner didn't come to the prom this day," Twig replied, realizing that he was sounding more awkward by the minute. "Maybe we can dance together?"

Oh boy, he thought. I sound SO awkward.

"Oh," she replied, as she took Twig's hands. "Sure Twig."

"Come on," he said, as they went to the center of the gymnasium. We still have more time to dance."

They went to the center of the original prom dance site, and started their dance. Before they knew, they were enjoying it, so much so that they both lost track of time. They did not care, as they kept dancing and dancing, doing more exaggerated moves by the minute. Suddenly, the room dimmed greatly, but the two were so enamored with each other that they did not bother. A single spotlight soon turned on, and it followed their every move.

Wow, he thought. This is amazing!

He then held his nose close to hers, who reciprocated back.

This made my day, she thought.

They held that for a while, unaware of Molly, Haddie, and Broadie watching from the sidelines.

All three smiled.

"Aren't they cute?" Molly asked.

"They sure are!" Haddie replied, watching them.

"Good thing they do!" Broadie noted, as the duo continued their dance.

So anyway, this story sounds a little cheesy, but I decided to try and get back into writing.

This story is essentially one way to rejuvenate my passion for writing. I also intend to complement my writing with arts.

Thank you so much for reading, and good luck out there.
