"The base is under attack!", says Padme. She looks at the sensor screen and sees a ship that she hoped not to see. The flagship of Darth Saph. SSD Huntress. Darth Saph was once Ahsoka Tano, Jedi Padawan to Anakin Skywalker. She fell to the dark, becoming Darth Sidious's apprentice, at the end of the Clone Wars, 15 years ago. When she fell, Luke and Leia Skywalker were born.
"I'll be trying to stop Darth Saph. Luke and Leia almost certainly can't, as she's a full-fledged Sith Lady. They should go on the evacuation transport with you." Anakin hopes to stop Darth Saph from killing, or worse, turning his kids.
Anakin senses the presence of the Sith Lady. It's dark and cold, nothing like the presence of Ahsoka Tano. He senses that she's in the main entrance room, and goes there. He sees a Togruta female wearing Mandalorian iron armor, with two red lightsabers.
"The Master lives." It doesn't sound like Ahsoka anymore. It now sound likes Darth Saph. A fierce growl came out of Darth Saph's lips.
"Ahsoka, it's not too late to come back.", Anakin says, hoping beyond hope that maybe there's a trace of Ahsoka left. Anakin didn't expect to hear what he heard out of Darth Saph's lips next.
"Yes, it is too late. It's 15 years too late for me." The two ignite their lightsabers and fight. The two know each other and their weaknesses well. Ahsoka uses the Force to make the ice hallway collapse on Anakin, but Anakin avoids getting crushed. Anakin attempt to do the same to Ahsoka, with the same results.
"Ahsoka, snap out of this! It isn't you!" Anakin thinks there's a chance that Ahsoka is still buried, deep under the mask of Darth Saph
"Ahsoka Tano is dead. In her place stands Darth Saph."Anakin attempts to maim rather than kill Darth Saph, but the girl who used to be Ahsoka is trying to kill him. It reminds him of Mortis, but not in a good way. The two fight, Darth Saph pressing him back, into the more open main command center, with more stuff for the two to Force-throw at each other. Darth Saph sends Force lightning at Anakin.
A little while later...
Anakin is tiring from Darth Saph's powerful blows. He had a hard enough time dealing with Darth Saph on Mustafar, 15 years ago. Now she's an adult Togruta and deep in the dark side, as a Sith Lady. He knew she is powerful; from the rumors he's heard, that is. He's unable to block the Force lightning that Ahsoka does, and Darth Saph manages to beat Anakin and clip his lightsaber to her belt. Anakin is kneeling on the ground. He knows he will die. Darth Saph's twin lightsaber are crossed around his neck.
She hesitates for a moment, then says, "Troopers, stun him and take him back with us."
