YEAR 1 MONTH 0 (FEBRUARY 10)
This was it, I've had enough if they want me gone so much, then I'll do it. I stormed to my room, and packed a shoulder bag I had found. I filled it with leather straps and bandages, extra masks, and an extra pair of nun-chaku. I also put in a tanto, I had started to secretly learn to fight with a sword. The last thing I packed was a stuffed bear placing it gently down in the bag. I smiled and petted it then closed the bag.
I left my room and went to the exit of the lair.
"Mikey where are you going?" Leo asked standing up from the couch.
"I'm leaving Leo, you wanted me gone, well fine, I'm going, I'm not gonna stay somewhere I'm not wanted," I said not turning around, When a hand landed on my shoulder I slapped it away. I turned to see Donnie there, I started to get angry my eyes narrowed. I snatched my T-phone from my belt and smashed it on the ground, it broke into small pieces.
"All three of you have been nothing but rude, mean, and inconsiderate of me. I'm tired of it, I'm leaving and I'm not dealing with it anymore. Find someone else to abuse from now on, cause it won't be me anymore," I said turning and leaving running down the tunnels and leaving the city all together.
A few nights later, I was resting in an abandoned building daylight fast approaching, I had leaned against the wall sighing, I thought back on my family. Leo who had kind and sweet when we were growing up, then he found Space Heroes and everything went down hill. He started to act like the main character and started to neglect us, never letting us have a say in anything we did, he became a dictator.
Raph who had been protective to the point of not wanting Donnie or I from leaving the lair, he would become quiet and sulky if we did leave without him. Then he became mean and A bully always hitting us and yelling when he got angry, which happened more and more lately.
Then Donnie the one turtle I thought I could always count on, the one turtle who I thought would have my shell no matter what. We stood against the unfairness of Leo and Raph leaving on their, but not us. We won we were allowed to go out by ourselves, then April appeared and he never even looked at me anymore our powerful duo suddenly broke and crumbled under my feet without my knowing and I fell into the darkness no one to help me and no one to care.
Tears were leaking from my eyes dripping into my mask and then down my cheek, my hands that had been holding my supplies had dropped to the floor, my knees pulled to my chest.
Suddenly a figure appeared in front of me a finger lifted my head up. I saw a dark red lizard mutant in front of me, his golden eyes surrounded by black stripes glinting in the early morning light. I gasped startled, and flinched into the wall.
"Calm sweet one, I'm not going to hurt you," the deep voice helped sooth my nerves. I calmed more tears dripping into my mask forcing more from the bottom of my mask them running down my cheek.
"Who are you?" I asked, feeling panic settling in my chest, making me breathe heavier he was getting closer and I was wanting to run and hide, what if he was like my brothers starting with being sweet and kind then turning mean and angry.
"My name is Jason, I noticed that you were upset and wanted to help," the lizard mutant said sitting on the ground his tail coming to rest on my leg.
"Sorry, I was thinking about my family, I didn't mean to disturb you, I'll leave if you want me to. It's what my brothers told me to do," I said wiping my eyes, trying to stand up.
"No no don't leave, please I don't want you to leave no you are perfect right where you are," Jason said lifting my mask off, wiping my tears.
I sniffled and smiled, no body had ever said that to me, at least some one wanted me around. Jason smiled as well, his golden eyes almost glowing in the light behind me.
"Orange is seriously doing a misjustice to you, it hides your beautiful blue eyes," he said holding the mask off to the side, his eyes not leaving mine. I blinked at his statement, I love the color orange, but it had been given to me when I was little even before I knew what colors were.
"If that's the case what color would you choose for me?" I asked laughing a bit, still nervous but relaxing when no yelling came.
"Hm let me think on that, and this is staying with me," he said holding my mask in two claws, dangling it in front of me.
"Okay, thanks dude, but uh what do you want to do?" I asked looking to the floor nervous, I didn't want him to leave me alone again, he had brightened my life already even just the few minutes.
"I want to stay with you, I'll follow you to the ends of the Earth," Jason said rubbing my cheek his thumb under my eye.
I sighed and nodded: "Okay."
