I didn't plan on doing a reveal fic, but after Alya learning that Marinette was Ladybug I felt urge to write Adrien learning who she was. I feel like at this point he's going to be the last to know, so this is my peace with him realizing who she was. I'll do a Lila bashing fic since someone sounded off on including that and I'm spacing the remaining fics out so I don't know when the next one will be up.
Extra special thanks to LinhLotus and Avramea01 on the Discord Server for both Betaing and giving me ideas! These two are great.

It was only a little after six as Marinette as Ladybug sat at their meeting place. She was at least an hour early as she played with her hair. One of her twin tails woven within her fingers. Her yo-yo out and ready to text Chat Noir again. It would be the third time today. Or maybe the eleventh time. Her fingers poised to type again before she heard a soft landing behind her.
"Bugaboo," he said, dipping into a bow and sat down next to her. She shook her head at the nickname but said nothing. Eagerly he took her hand and turned to the setting sun. It was going to get dark soon and he would have to get back to the mansion. "Milady, I came running as soon as I read that first text. You said that this is an emergency."
So she might have embellished a little as she flushed red.
"Well not so much an emergency," she said.
Cautiously Chat gave her a curious look wondering what she had to say.
"Yes, but no," she said and sighed, wringing her hands. "I had to tell my best friend who I am. Now I want to tell you."
"You do?" he asked, his voice sounded almost giddy with awe.
Of course, he had his disappointment that someone else knew before him. However, internally he also had done a little dance in his head. This was perfect. Sure, he wasn't gonna be the first to know but at least now they could really get to know each other. Maybe if they went to the same school, they could make up excuses for each other.
"Kitty," said Marinette with a warning in her voice, but smiling. "Don't get too excited. It's not like I'll be someone that you know."
"I'm just a little excited and a little nervous. I'd like to tell you who I am."
"Well let me go first."
She paused and looked around at Paris underneath them and then hesitated. They were rather secluded right now and nobody was around. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and whispered just loud enough for him to hear.
"Tikki spots off."
Waiting with bated breath, he watched as pink sparkles glittered around her revealing shiny black hair, blue eyes as deep as a marble, and then Marinette. Marinette Dupain-Cheng sat next to him and smiled.
"Hi Chat Noir," she said calmly, giving him a cute little wave. Her smile was bright and perky as he stared.
"Marinette?!"
"You can't possibly know me."
Her voice sounded surprised and her eyes widened at the realization. Her face changed a little as if she was trying to guess who was underneath that mask. Adrien straightened himself out. Wow, he… Well... Shocked, a little speechless Adrien locked eyes with her and grinned very widely.
"Plagg claws in."
"Adrien?!"
"I know right? Who knew that we were in the same class this entire time," said Adrien as watched Marinette's face change. "Wow the love of my life was sitting behind me the entire time."
"Love of your –"
Her jaw dropped and bluebell eyes wide studying him as if this was a trick. Then she gasped remembering that he'd been flirting with her this entire time. She'd kissed him multiple times! They bantered and joked around. He had been in her bedroom when she had posters of him on the wall. She was seeing colors that she didn't think would be possible. Marinette could feel her legs shake and wobble at what she just saw.
Then the last thing he expected to happen, well, happened. She started to cry. Adrien leaned in and pressed her against him as if it was their last hug together.
"I feel like crying happy tears too," he said jovially. "Listen I know you said to stop flirting and there's a boy but I can't help myself. Wait, is this someone I know?"
"It's you," she said, her voice raising a little octave at that as she wiped her eyes.
"Me? Wait I'm in a love square with myself?! You liked me as Adrien, but I liked you as Ladybug. We liked each other this entire time, this is great Marinette. My dream has come true," said Adrien, not realizing the gravity of his words.
Without thinking or a warning of any kind, he leaned in and kissed her. She nearly had a heart attack before kissing him back. His lips warm against hers. There were no fireworks of any kind or melting into each other's arms. Just a simple kiss that showed the affection that they held for each other.
Adrien reached over and took her hand.
"This is all just a lot," she said, putting a hand on her head. "I didn't think that this would happen."
"Well it's not completely over," he said as she gave him a questioning look. "I mean, well, Marinette Dupain-Cheng will you be my girlfriend."
Silently he added and future wife and mother of our children in his mind, but didn't dare to say it out loud. They'll have to get a hamster first and see how that went. She twitched for a second and took a deep breath.
"YES!"
Her screech made the pigeons scramble for a new place to rest. They had hugged each other again before remembering that they weren't Ladybug and Chat Noir right now.
"Maybe we should transform back before we fall off the roof," said Marinette. "Oh my gosh I gotta text Alya."
"And I'll tell Nino," he said. "If they ask what should we say?"
"Oh wow, I just realized that we should probably think of some kind of story to tell people. Do you think we should keep it a secret from the press? What if your dad finds out!?"
"I don't want to keep us a secret," said Adrien. "I love you."
She had giggled a little at the sudden declaration of love but knew he was telling the truth. She sighed and squeezed his hand.
"Just for now. Maybe we could tell Alya, Nino, and my parents. That's it, if anyone asks how it happened. Just say that I told you that I love you and that you agreed to go out with me. Everyone else in the class already knows."
Marinette blushed at her declaration. Adrien too flushed but for a different reason. Everyone in the class knew about her crush on him, besides him. Man he felt like an idiot. It is a good story and everyone would believe it.
"I just wish that we knew who each other was a lot sooner," he said gently, reaching out with his free hand and stroking her cheek. She had a really pretty smile on her face as she kissed his cheek.
"Okay let's get back to patrolling Kitty."
"Hey, wait. Before we go, can we at least say that we're dating at Ladybug and Chat Noir?"
"If that'll make you happy okay but don't overdo flirting when we're fighting okay? We're just going to need better pet names when we're us…"
"You got it bluebell," he said, winking at her and transforming back. "Or do you prefer goddess? Or honey buns?"
She rolled her eyes but her smile grew wider. "We'll work on it. Roger that Mr. Sunshine."
Marinette transformed back before the two went back to their patrols. They were burning the remaining daylight.

Gabriel Agreste sighed as he gazed at the portrait of his wife. It was hard not to stare at it as he wondered what to do. Adrien had been acting very funny for the last couple of months. However, his reports from Miss Rossi says nothing was unusual at school. His social media is silent. The brand wasn't suffering. Perhaps he should go and ask him, but that wouldn't work.
"Gabriel, we might have an issue," said Nathalie, stepping into his office. "It appears that Adrien has a girlfriend."
"What?! How? Why? When? Who? Where did this happen?" he asked demandingly as he tried to cool his head.
"I learned just now," she said, straightening her glasses. "It appears that everyone knows. The media caught wind of it this morning."
"Why am I the last to know this?"
"Perhaps if you had asked Adrien…"
"I can't ask him! No, this won't do perhaps I should try to akumatize the the girl."
He didn't even bother to learn her name. Nathalie rolled her eyes and tried not to scowl at his plan. That will not do and only make their plans fail.
"Perhaps you should think about this Gabriel," she said. "Let him know that you don't approve but let them break up in their own time. After all, what kind of love can two sixteen year olds have for each other?"
"You are right and forbidding this will only drive them closer and Adrien away from me. Fine, he can have his girlfriend but I want a background report on the girl."
"Right away sir," said Natalie leaving the room with a smile on her face and a silent cheer.
Gabriel turned back to the portrait and sighed. "Why does everything have to be so complicated Emilie?"
Then he turned and focused on his work.
