Hello everyone! How're you all? I'm back with another new fic here on the same day (What? I've written a KaiHil and TyHil on the same day? 0_0 0_0)
Anyways, let's leave it. It's dedicated to someone special, someone precious. My adorable, cute little sis, my sweet, yet, fierce angel Cheena, who is known as Velox The Dragon Knight because in this very month, she was born. Many many happy returns of the day in advance, sweetheart! *Showers flowers on you*
This sweet amazing girl, even being a die-hard and ardent TyHil fan, considers this KaiHil fan as her idol and respects her a lot. Oh dear, to be frank, when I received your first message, I felt as if I'd been Lionel Messi himself, loved by billions of Brazil fans even though he plays for Argentina xD. Sometimes, I feel quite bad that you all love me that much but I cannot do anything for you *Sighs*. Here it remains, my honey, for you. Only for your 15th birthday, I am posting my 15th TyHil :P Consider this gift of your Misty Di, I hope you'll like it.
It's not fully TyHil, but a TyHilKai triangle (Again, not fully) which is loved by our Cheena a lot! Dear Cheena, when you were writing "A cold-hearted serial killer", Misty Di promised you that she herself would compensate for whatever problem/pain/grief you had to suffer while writing that. It's the payback time, I hope you won't mind.
Rating: T
Warning: Suicide attempt, character death.
Pairings: TysonXHilary, KaiXHilary, TysonXOC (Unknown)
Inspired from: A Bollywood movie. Though I didn't copy it full-to-full, it's still set in the canon world. A canon fic it is. Since our Cheena is a Bollywood movie-lover, I leave it up to her to guess the name of the movie ;)
Disclaimer: I don't own the lyrics "Can't take my eyes off of you". Frankie Valli is the rightful owner of the song. Besides, the last dialogue of Hilary said to Tyson isn't also mine. A dear reader and sweetheart of mine, Sambhabi (Olive Beamfly). Sorry for taking it without your permission, dear. Never mind, but I just found it very beautiful, that's why, inserted it in this fic. If you want, I can remove it too :P
Anyways, let's start it!
23-year-old Hilary Tachibana, a new doctor who joined a private hospital only before a few weeks, was driving her car on the way to her home at night after she had completed her duty for that day. Summer night it was, with soothing breeze, being the messenger of a thunderstorm, which could occur anytime. The tree branches guarding the lonely railway tracks were shivering, no one could find out where the fallen green and crunched leaves were blowing away. Starless the sky was; even the sight of the moon also became extinct then. Only the headlights and sodium street lanterns were showing her the right path. She knew that it wasn't a decision taken from intelligence to return home alone but she was brave too, anyways.
Seeing a fallen figure before her wagon, she braked. When it halted only a few inches away from the being, she got down from the car. It seemed to belong to a young man around her age, clad in white-striped black jacket and denim trousers. Wait…his hair was navy-blue in color, crossing his neck. She frowned and shivered, expecting and praying so that he couldn't be the same guy about whom she was thinking. Huffing, she kowtowed beside him and tilted him gently. Right then, the lamp of her expectations got extinguished, being darkened just like the night. Well, at least the night had sodium lamps.
Tyson Granger, the five-time Beyblade world-champion, was lying unconscious beside a lonely, pretty abandoned railway station. Hilary tapped his cheek, whispering by his name but he didn't respond. Desperate, the brunette started examining his body. She didn't have to go so far or toil much as she ended up finding the large cut on his left wrist. There was a small pool of blood under it; still the life fluid was dripping from the wound. The chocolate-haired doctor didn't waste time; putting out her handkerchief and tying it around the gash. Seeing the blood-stained dagger in another hand of the blunette, her soul winced. Why had he taken a suicide attempt all of a sudden?
However, it was not the exact and suitable time for investigating it. Hilary Tachibana understood it too. Laying her fingers around his neck and putting them before his nostrils, the brunette found the faint signs of life present in his body still. She became more determined to save him. Somehow lifting him which wasn't her cup of tea at all, she wrapped an arm around his waist and took his, draping her shoulders. Her lungs sprinted; she gritted her teeth. Damn Granger, are you revenging now only because I used to annoy you before eight years? Is this the way to revenge, huh?
Carefully leaning his head against the headboard of the side-seat, she tied the seatbelt around him. Taking the steering wheel in her hands and closing all the doors, she put her feet on the accelerator. The headlights shone in the darkness like a pair of eyes belonging to any tiger; the wagon ran in the speed of thunderbolt. Hilary's eyes were placed forward, jaw was gnashed. Sometimes, she was moving her head and checking Tyson if he was alright or not. His painful breaths and incoherent blabbering in his unconscious state were tearing her heart but she didn't lose control. Luckily, she found a hospital which was not very far from the station.
The fate was kind enough to Tyson and Hilary, a few doctors and nurses were still working there. Once the duo reached the hospital, they took Tyson in, assuring the brunette that he'd be alright. Tired and frustrated, she thumped on a metal bench, propping her back against it. She didn't know how long it would take but the time during when the ex-world champion was fighting with his death, she was fighting to hold herself back, trying her best not to burst out anger and destroy everything. Near her throat, there was a lump. In infuriation, sorrows and rising tensions, when she slept, she couldn't guess.
After an hour or so, a doctor came out from Tyson's cabin and cleared his throat, standing near Hilary. Her sleep was so light that she gasped and stood up, feeling his presence. Rubbing her eyes, she asked, "How's…how's he, now?"
"Relax, Miss Tachibana," The physician's voice was assuring and pleasing, "He's doing fine. Thank goodness, you brought him quite early here. Otherwise, losing so much blood, he could have got a hypovolemic shock which might result into a coma."
Hilary swallowed. As a doctor, she was pretty much familiar with the term and the survival rate of it. Besides, she was strong enough, she grew stronger after choosing her profession but she didn't know why it was bothering her so much. She closed her eyes and sighed in relief, thanking Almighty that nothing fatal happened to Tyson.
"Can I meet him now?" The brunette asked.
"I'm sorry, Miss," He shook his head, "But the patient is still unconscious now. I'm afraid that I cannot let you meet him at present."
"Will this work?" Hilary put out her ID card from her purse and showed it to the doctor. Glancing all over it once, he nodded, "Okay, you can go inside."
"Thanks, doc."
Managing to smile faintly, the brunette stepped in the chamber of her ex-teammate. He was lying lifelessly on the white hospital bed, even whiter than it. Several tubes from different machines were linked to his body. Blood and saline could be seen dripping from them. The oxygen mask on his face was going hazier with each passing second. The ECG monitor by his side was showing his heart rate in blue neon up and down curves. If the brunette could see them, she would understand that his condition was pretty stable now but her eyes already got blinded with the vapors of tears. Pressing her mouth, she sniffed and came out from the room, unable to bear the sight anymore. The rest of the night went sleepless for her as she spent it by propping her head against a chair and looking blankly at the blank ceiling.
The morning came in the world maintaining its usual nature, along with a soft ray of sunshine seeping through the open window of Tyson's cabin. He gently opened his eyes, squinting and trying to adjust with the light. He wondered from where so much light was hitting his eyelids. Did heaven use to have this? But how could he end up in heaven? At least he himself used to think that he'd committed a lot of sins, no matter how innocent he was in real. Be it heaven or hell, he sighed in relief, feeling that finally he'd attained eternal peace. But no, when he glanced around and discovered, he sighed, this time, maybe in disappointment mixed with a bit of hidden assurance and shock. How did he end up there?
His head was light, there was no pain anywhere in his body organs though his left wrist felt a bit numb and heavy. Somehow, removing the oxygen mask from his face, he tried to sit up but before it, two arms caught his back and gently laid him down on the bed again. Gasping, he stared at the person, getting his eyes hit once again by a pair of stern, yet, caring garnet pools. He…he knew them…though he hadn't met her for a long time, he didn't forget her. Nonetheless, he was shocked to no end at her presence. What…was she doing here?
"Hil…" He murmured, "Hilary?"
"Yes, me," Dragging a chair, the brunette sat beside him, "And don't need to move. You've lost much blood, you need rest."
"Thanks…" He puffed, leaning his back comfortably against the pillow and setting his eyes at the roof, not daring stare back at the brunette. After maintaining a weighty, heart-crushing silence for a few minutes, Hilary opened her mouth first, "So…why this great job, Tyson?"
"Huh?" The ex-world champion blinked, not understanding the significance of her words.
"Don't need to pretend that you know nothing!" The brunette grumbled, fuming and showing him the blood-stained dagger, "What's this?!"
Tyson gulped. Never did he imagine that Hilary would figure it out so soon. Then again, what could have remained hidden from her ever? His eyes bowed, not feeling worthy enough to meet her gazes. He cursed himself for being physically so strong at a time. Damn, why wasn't his heparin more active than others'? Why should his platelets be a bitch to him till the brunette came?
"Tyson," She calmly held his hand, "Why would you take this attempt? Why should you? You're four-time beyblade world-champion, the guardian of the great Dragoon who is more than your bit-beast, comrade and a friend. I saw you struggling, fighting and gaining victory all the time, in all the situations, in front of my own eyes. You…you were always my inspiration, my idol. Only seeing you, I've learnt how to face the challenges thrown by life. You know, this heinous shot didn't only leave me speechless, but also put a stain on your image set in my mind."
"Erase that," His voice was unbelievably, harshly cold, even Kai hadn't sounded that cold in his life, "It will only be a disgrace for you."
"Damn you, Tyson," Hilary facepalmed, "For the sake of Dragoon, tell me what's wrong!"
"What's wrong with me?" Tyson clenched his fangs, squeezing the shoulders of the girl all of a sudden that sent a shiver to her heart, "Ask me what is right with me! Always, in my life, I've been only wronged and wronged! You will never know the pain when you fail to do a task in which you used to excel! You will never feel the sensation when the person who wanted to lay his or her heart at your feet once upon a time thinks that you're inferior to him or her and leaves you! Never…never will you feel the shock when your own family members mistrust you and throw you like a used piece of tissue paper!"
Hilary froze, noticing the pitch of Tyson's voice. He'd always sounded loud, being a pain to her ears but this time, the pain was felt somewhere else, not in her tympanic membranes. Unlike always, she didn't press her ears and shout back at the blunette. She bit her lips. Damn, she should have stayed with Bladebreakers always. She had gone abroad for her medical studies. After it, she returned to Tokyo and started doing job in a hospital, totally forgetting about Tyson. It wasn't like that she had never tried to communicate with him but each time she dialed his number, she found it either engaged or switched off. Little did she realize that Tyson would have been going through so many maelstroms!
"Since you left after the fourth world championship," Tyson spoke, a bit calmer this time to clarify everything to the brunette, "Bladebreakers were still happy. Kai started working in his family business, Ray and Max returned to their homelands respectively. Still, we used to talk to each other over phones and messages. Someone stepped in my life as a blessing, vowing that she would stay by my side always. We dated, confessed and kept planning for our future. They were the best days of my life. But abruptly, one day…"
Taking a tiny break, he uttered again, "I broke my right wrist in an unexpected accident. I recovered eventually but do you know what the doctors said? Well, they informed me that I could do everything in the world except blading because my wrist couldn't produce much energy that is needed to give the high amount of rotational speed to a beyblade. Besides, putting that much force could hamper my wrist again. So, in short, my eight-year-old carrier of blading got destroyed only within a blink."
Hilary gasped, trying to say something but the blunette stopped him, "Wait, there's more. When Kai, Ray and Max got to know about it, they broke Bladebreakers-no, it was their greatness that they felt that Bladebreakers is nothing without me, though I disagree. However, when my ex-girlfriend who was a regional champion got to know about it, she quickly broke up with me. Confused, I asked her the reason. Do you know what her reply was? She straightly said that I wasn't worthy for her anymore because she had a title but I couldn't have any in future. I begged to her, almost kneeling down but she didn't have mercy on me, leaving me lonely on the street on a rainy, cloudy day. I screamed, I cried but there was nobody to listen to me."
Sighing, he continued, "I joined BBA as a worker. Eventually, I was promoted to a higher rank but the officers working under me used to feel pity on me. Most of them were excellent bladers and they were jealous of me, no objection. Often, they used to mess up the things so that I could be blamed. I hated the chaos and complications they created. Even Hiro also told me that the whole term of blading completely ditched me and I-I wasn't worthy to manage blading-related matters anymore. I don't live with Grandpa now, but if I did, I know he would say no less different to me. Hilary, blading…it's my life. When my life itself has ditched me, what the hell should I do with this corpse with a beating heart? Can you tell me?"
"Hey!" Hilary shook his shoulders, "You-you cannot say like that! Have you ever imagined how Dragoon will feel if he knows that you have tried to give up? How will grandpa feel if he knows that his favorite T-dawg has taken this drastic step? Do you know how I-I am feeling now?"
"You think I have feelings in my heart still?" The dragoon-wielder snickered, "Had I had, would I have ever tried to commit suicide?"
Turning his face away from her, he sighed, "I've become a lifeless pebble lying by the street, Hilary. I'm kicked, I'm abandoned, I'm ignored-but never loved."
"Who said this to you?" The brunette's eyes flickered with tears, "Look at me, Tys. I'm still here. I-I'll heal the wound of your heart."
"How can you conclude that you can do everything only because you have become a doctor, Hils?" Tyson blinked, "You're only a physician, not any kind of superwoman."
"The people who sacrifice their days and nights only for snatching a patient back from the jaw of his or her death," Hilary smirked, "What else can they be apart from supermen or superwomen? Anyways, I think you'll get released today after an observation. Then, you're coming with me."
Tyson's jaw remained dropped. He couldn't utter a single word after it.
No matter how much Tyson Granger changed over years, Hilary Tachibana didn't have a bit of deformation in her character and attitude. Accompanied by her all the day, the navy-haired ex-blader realized it. She still used to blabber, she was still bossy around him, trying to eat up his head every now and then. He'd already attained a unique superpower of ignoring the talks of people but her words were just…unavoidable. Reluctant, his ears had to digest each and every word delivered by her hyped, energetic vocal cord. Who could say that she was a professional doctor when she still had a bit of childishness in her character? Tyson wondered…did she actually grow up?
Soon, he got to see a new sight of Hilary's character too. He found out that the street kids and poor people loved her so much. Specially, the kids in the park would gather around her. The brunette bought them balloons and chocolates, yet, warning them to brush their teeth after eating it. When she asked them about their health, they complained a lot. The brunette patiently heard each of them and gave them fruitful suggestions. Along with him, she even visited the local old home, talking to the senior citizens abandoned by their own families. The heart of the blunette whimpered at their miseries. However, when they were talking to the brunette, automatically, their faces became bright with optimistic smiles and new hopes to live more.
Seeing the condition of different kind of people, yet their hopes and wishes to live more and more, the ex-blader felt quite minor. Suddenly, everything in this world started seeming beautiful to him. Even Hilary Tachibana, the wicked witch of grade eight, who was shaking his ears by her loud pitch in every minute, was giving him positive vibes unexpectedly. While walking on the rain-drenched, gray concrete street along with her as the gloomy, cloudy sky was shielding their heads, he blissfully sighed. Maybe, he was realizing how beautiful life was actually. Alas, why hadn't Hilary Tachibana entered his life before it? Why had he used to despise her before eight years?
The nightfall arrived on the earth, darkening the atmosphere. They entered a hotel for staying there for that night. A few rooms were empty there but Hilary took only a double-bed chamber. This wasn't the only thing, she even introduced themselves to the reception as husband and wife. Tyson was shocked at her daringness. He even forgot to blink; coin-sized big stares were fixed on her. Then again, not paying any heed to his reaction, taking the key of the room, the brunette thanked the receptionist and went to the elevator. When it opened, turning back at the blunette once, she narrowed her eyes, "Are you coming with me, Tyson? Or do you want to spend the night lying on the sofa in the lobby?"
"No no…I'm…" Furiously nodding, the ex-world champion almost ran towards the open elevator. When the sliders got closed, Hilary giggled, gently slapping on his head. Tyson scratched his hair naively; quite embarrassed he was. However, the door got opened as they found their room on the third floor. Unlocking its door, they stepped in. Quite fresh it was with a queen-sized bed, a leather couch, a cupboard, a dressing table, a balcony and an attached washroom. With proper light and ventilation, it was comfortable for them.
"Aah!" Hilary slumped on the couch, "Man, I'm so tired, you know. Aren't you feeling tired, Tys?"
"Hilary," The dragoon-wielder glanced around the atmosphere, "May I know why you have introduced us as a married couple at the reception?"
"I don't think they would give us a single room if we didn't tell this lie there, Tyson." The brunette shrugged.
"And why did you need a common room for both of us?" Tyson frowned.
"Because," Getting up and putting her hands on her hip, Hilary replied, "I didn't want to leave you alone. Today morning, listening to your heavy words, I don't think that you are safe without any person around you, Tyson."
"Wh…what?" Tyson almost fell from the sky.
"Yes, you've heard right, Mr. Champ," The brunette nodded, "Now, go to the bed and rest. You need it."
"But…"
"If you don't listen to my word," She glared at him, "Honestly speaking, Granger, with you, now I'll seriously do the same thing what happens between a husband and a wife."
"Whaaaat?!" His cheeks got almost burnt, red glow became visible there. Was Hilary okay or did he drink any invisible alcohol by breathing in the air?
"Doofus," The brunette threw a cushion at him, "Quarrel. I mean…it happens between a husband and a wife. If you don't listen to me, I'll quarrel with you."
"Oh…" Tyson sighed in relief, "Thank goodness…"
"To be honest, Tyson," Hilary sneered, "Clean your brain. That woman has surely pushed some dirt inside your clean innocent character, hasn't she?"
"Hmm…" Murmuring, he looked down.
"Another thing," The brunette warned him, "If you try to commit suicide once again, I-"
"You?" The blunette cocked a brow, "What will you do?"
"I'll kill you!" Hilary pointed a finger at him, "That's also with so much pain that you'll think 100 times before committing suicide again!"
Tyson's eyes became enlarged, he sweatdropped. But he couldn't stop his laughter for a long time. Giggling bursts escaped from his throat, he clutched his stomach and started rolling down on the ground. His jaw was opened, tears were clinging to his eyelids. His stomach started aching but he couldn't stop laughing at the words of the brunette. Scratching her head confusedly, the brunette facepalmed, realizing what she had said to Tyson just now. But her face adopted a huge grin. After all, after a long time, she saw him laughing. Anyways, for the next move, she wasn't prepared.
While laughing, tears were trickling down on the cheeks of the blunette. A whimper came out from his throat unwantedly and unknowingly. After a long time, he was weeping too. Really, he had become a rock but Hilary was Hilary, melting him successfully. Pressing her shivering lips, the brunette knelt down beside him and pulled him into a tight hug. Tucking his face amidst her shoulder, he shed his tears, expressed all the agony through waterworks that he'd faced since the last seven years. His body was convulsing with the rhythm of sniveling. Tears stung the ruby orbs of the brunette too but no, it wasn't the best place and the best time to shed them; she felt so. She kept clutching Tyson closer, trying to absorb all his inflammations and anxieties.
The night went like that for both of them.
Tyson became much normal after the incident. Hilary took him to her parents' home. Her mom received them very cordially. Mr. Tachibana was also quite gentle with Tyson but he couldn't be much free with him like his wife. Suspicion arose in his mind, centering the navy-haired guy. Specially when he observed his closeness with the younger brunette, his internal restlessness increased. Was anything going on between Tyson and his daughter by any chance? Nonetheless, the duo didn't have the time to notice it. They were building themselves again in a new mold, or say, especially the navy-haired guy himself.
Everyday, he would water the plants in the garden along with her. He heard her talking to the flowers and butterflies, calling them by different names each time. Amusing it was, yet, he found it cute. Damn, she really had the power of melt everything, she had a superpower of growing flowers in a desert. The more he was seeing him, the more he was liking him. They still used to fight with each other how they'd used to do in their adolescence but in the end of the day, they appreciated each other, they learnt from each other. To be honest, she was the only person whom Tyson could confide in. She understood it too. That's why, she never made him return from her.
One night, when Tyson was preparing to sleep, he heard a knock at his door. Clearing his throat, he permitted, "Come in."
The brunette came in, hearing his permission. Not abnormal it was, usually she used to visit him before sleeping. But this time, he found her with quite a heavy bag hanging from her hand. Her hair was tied neatly, she was dressed as if she would go out anytime. Tyson frowned. Where did she want to go at this hour of night?
"Hilary?" He frowned, "What-"
"Sshhh!" Hilary placed a finger on his lips, shushing him, "Tyson Granger, get ready now. No need to wake up this house, they won't like it at all."
"Okay okay…" Tyson lowered his voice, "But…where do you want to go?"
"To my love…" Spreading her arms, she swirled, "To the place where he lives."
"Huh?" He blinked in confusion.
"I knew that you wouldn't understand…hehehe…" She sheepishly smirked, blushing, "Actually, it's my fault not to tell you earlier. Since the last two years, I have been in love with our ex-captain. We talk to each other over phones and chat via different social sites. Before a week, he has proposed me, sending me a diamond ring through parcel. Hehehe…I had to lie to mom and dad but that doesn't matter. Today, I'm going to his house, in Osaka. Have you got me?"
"What?" Tyson rubbed his eyes, "You-"
"And you're going with me too!" Hilary pulled his hand, "Get your lazy ass up and be ready. We don't have much time."
"Wh…but why me?" The blunette almost fell in the anime style, "Cannot you go alone?"
"You crazy or had too much wine today?" Putting her hands on her hips, she glared right at his eyes, "Obey me right now! Otherwise, I'll give you such a nice treatment that you won't be able to leave your bed for three straight days. Hope you haven't forgotten the punch which landed on your nose before eight or nine years!"
Slapping on his forehead and sighing, Tyson took a new shirt along with fresh pair of trousers from his wardrobe and went to the washroom for changing. Damn, Hilary wasn't only bossy, but also aggressive and short-tempered too at the same time. Tyson didn't have any idea how she dealt with her patients in the hospital. Then again, her bossiness, her loudness, her ill-temper-all these things were the parts of her franker side which she used to show only in front of him. For it, he felt proud of himself. He was happy, knowing that Hilary got her love of her life too, less unlucky than he. She deserved the happiness too. Unknowingly, tearing his chest, a sigh came out.
Ready, he came out and looked at Hilary, "Let's go."
"Yes!" She punched in the air, "I cannot wait to surprise Kai!"
"He'll surely be surprised, Hilary." The blunette showed all his teeth, "I can already imagine his face when he'll see you."
"Enough with these things, Tyson," The brunette dragged his hand, "Let's go out! Make sure so that nobody can notice us."
"Don't worry, nobody will."
Chuckling and showing her a thumb, he came out with her. It was almost 11.30 pm, everyone fell asleep. The sky was adorned with million stars, scattered on the bluish-black background like countless gemstones on a dark velvet fabric. Under it, the night garden was looking mesmerizing. Unknowingly, they held the hands of each other and ran out swiftly, yet silently so that nobody could notice them. Since they were careful so that their footsteps couldn't go in anybody's ears, they had to toil more. When they were finally out of the compound, they were sweating. Nonetheless, they enjoyed the little adventure. That's why, staring at each other, they burst out laughing, even while panting, putting their hands on knees and bowing a bit.
"Gosh!" Hilary huffed, "People use to speak the truth. Attaining Kai Hiwatari is not everyone's cup of tea."
"Let's go to the station, shall we?" Tyson snickered, "Otherwise, your dad will come here and catch us. He thinks that I always try to make you fall in my love. That's why, I'll be punished more."
"Says who?" The brunette narrowed her eyes, "I'm already prepared for the journey!"
"Good for you." Panting, he spoke, "Let's go."
Lucky they were; they easily got a train with a pair of seats facing each other. Hilary prepared some foods for both of them; she shared them with the blunette. To be frank, Tyson discovered that her cooking skills improved a lot with the passage of time though he didn't fail to taunt her once again. Grouching and completing her dinner, she placed her head against the soft headboard and closed her eyes, turning her head away from him. Within a few minutes, she fell asleep. Tyson, without any exact reason, couldn't shut his eyes for that night. They were, all the time, on the serene face of the brunette where the tender moonlight and gentle breeze of the night were playing together.
'She…she's an angel…' He felt mesmerized, 'Don't know why I cannot take my eyes off of her…'
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like Heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last, love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
Can't take my eyes off of you…
In the dawn, when the train stopped at the station, Tyson gently tapped the cheek of the brunette, "Hilary? We've arrived here."
"Huh?" Hilary was almost awake. She jolted up from the seat, "We've reached."
"Yes, let's get down!"
The duo got down from the train. Whistling loudly, it left the station as per the rules after all the passengers had descended. Smiling back at Tyson, Hilary spoke, "Thank you so much, Tys. If you weren't here, it would never be possible for me to finally get the love of my life."
"Mention not, Hils," Tyson beamed, "Take care of yourself. Stay happy with Kai. And…of course, don't forget to invite us at your wedding."
"You'll be the special guest, champ!" The brunette pinched his cheeks, "Just wait and watch, the angels from heaven will descend on the earth to witness our wedding!"
"I hope and pray so, Hilary," The ex-blader nodded, "After all, you both deserve it well."
"Okay, Tysie, I'm leaving," She turned back and waved her hand, "Take care. Bye."
"Bye, Hilary." He faintly smiled, not wanting to bid farewell to her so soon.
The brunette walked for a few steps. After it, she stopped and wheeled to her best friend again, "Tyson?"
"Yes?" He was baffled.
"Life is not a movie," Her face adopted a huge grin, "Don't end it."
The same grin, infectiously, spread all over the face of the navy-haired blader too. Waving her hand again, she started running with the bag in a new direction, on the way to a new life. Tyson sighed, smiling a bit. He was happy for her, of course. Then why was there a bit of emptiness in his heart?
Did he…fall for her by any chance?
