So far Megumin's day hadn't been going so great, Kommeko had eaten the last of the poptarts,the internet had gone out at her house(well more so the neighbors realized that Megumin's family was using their wifi again) and worst of all she was out of firecrackers so she couldn't even cast her "explosion magic".

But things were looking up she still had to finish an essay for school and with no internet she was forced to go to the library. Though for Megumin this wasn't to bad the library she went to was spacious and had plenty of tables with a generous ammount time to use the computers without having to pay and best of all(at least in Megumin's opinion) the librarian that worked there was a total bombshell(again in Megumin's opinion).

And so when Megumin finally reached the library after a long walk and saw that the librarian that she had her eyes on was working today her heart was filled with joy.

After finding an open computer Megumin decided to feady her resolve and make her move on flirting with the librarian and hopefully ask him out on a coffee date.

As Megumin approached the libarian she noticed that his green eyes were focused on a book and seem to be relaxed with a slight smile on his face. She had decided it was now or never to go in all guns blazing and made her move

"E-Exuse Me?"

The librarian looked up from his book fixing both his brown hair and glasses before responding in a gentle,yet firm tone

"Yes what may I help you with?"

"I have been cursed to forget my name...would thou be so generous as to give your name?"

The librarians faced shifted into one of annoyance and said in a more gruff tone

"Look I dont want to deal with this chuuni shit if you don't have anything important to ask leave me al-"

"WAIT...I just wanna know your name..."

The librarian gave a soft sigh before returning to his usual gentle tone and said

"It's Kazuma"

"Hi Kazuma Im Megumin"

After this Megumin simply walked back to her computer patting herself on the back for at least learning the name of her librarian crush.

Megumin had returned the next day and immediately decided to go to try and flirt with Kazuma, but had to wait to speak to him because he was helping some weird blue haired chick find a children's book that she wanted to read (she could've sworn she heard the blue haired chick refer to Kazuma as "Mummy")

Though her patience was rewarded as when she reached the front of the line Kazuma greeted her by her name and asked what can he help with and that's when Megumin made her move

"Sure you can Kazuma...are you free to get some coffee with me after your done with work?"

Kazuma gave an amused smile before saying

"Awwww aren't you an adorable little one,but I think Im a bit too old for you dear"

"Im 17 Kazuma"

Kazuma gave a shocked look before fixing his glasses and saying

"W-Well still Im busy after work as well unfortunately I have to drop of my ki-I mean roommate to her swimming lessons she teaches their part-time"

Megumin still determined to ask out her librarian crush on a date asked

"Welllllllllll how about you just gove me your phone number and I'll ask you whe your available!"

Kazuma turned a bit red from this and still trying to put on a facade of the cool,calm, and collected librarian said

"F-Fine I'll give you my number if it'll make you leave me alone"

Kazuma then ripped a bit of notebook paper and quickly wrote down his phone number before handing it to Megumin. The young girl in response gave a bug smile when she saw it and decided to test to her luck decided to say

"Thanks I'll call you soon...Cutie K"
