This is the sequel to Rise of MAGIC, so if you didn't read it or you read it a long time ago, I suggest you read it first. I will try to wrap up the loose ends from that story as well as the comics. I will also mention some things in this and other chapters that happened off-screen, so to speak. I am hoping to start my YouTube channel soon and talk about how to reboot WITCH, so I'd love to hear your ideas. Many fans actually ship Phobos and one of the Guardians, usually Will or Cornelia, but I think Irma would be the best match for him. And while they're not going to be together in this story, there may be some ship tease. I do love the Elyon and Caleb pairing, though it's quite weird when you think about it. Here's a reminder that Miraculous Ladybug(in AU form ) and Harry Potter exist in this universe as well and I will try to have those characters in the story.
The Oracle sighed as she sat in her chambers with her friends.
"What's wrong?" Cassidy asked.
Yan Lin smiled sadly as she answered, "it's just so hard sometimes. I feel like, even after all I have done, there will always be evil to fight."
"Well, you did tell the rulers to make their own Guardian teams, and if they had any sense they'll do so," Halinor said.
Yan Lin nodded and reminded herself to follow up on that. "Anyway, I'm glad you decided to stick around," she told her friends. As her friends hugged her and assured her that they will always be together, Yan Lin couldn't help feeling guilty, as she did use her powers to persuade her friends to come back to Kandrakar and stay with her, but she brushed it aside. She needed them for emotional support and to help her organize everything.
"Anyway," she continued, "I and the girls are going to introduce ourselves to the other Ministers of Magic. Wish me luck!"
"Of course," Cassidy said, and Yan Lin went off to the room where she was going to meet the Ministers of Magic.
A few minutes later, Yan Lin had a headache and was considering turning all the Ministers into toads. She did underestand, though. It was twelve years after the Second Wizarding War, when the leaders of the Wizarding World got a figurative bomb dropped on them; there were Muggles with magic! And they didn't need wands!
But this was getting ridiculous. From the way they were acting, you would think there was another Dark Lord coming!
"Hey!" Will yelled as she shot pink sparks at them. "Relax and be grateful that we're telling you about this in the first place!"
"Yeah!" Irma replied. "Besides, there aren't that many of them anyway!"
"They're right. I know it's scary," Minister Shacklebolt said, "but we need your help. We think that many if not all of these people have wizarding genes that became, for lack of a better word, corrupted, and we need to investigate."
"And how do you suppose we do that without sending the magical community into a panic?" one of them asked.
"I don't think this will send everyone into a panic, but in any case, you don't have to tell the whole truth. You can just say you want to keep better track of possible Muggle-borns," Meg said.
"And speaking of," Yan Lin said, "it is possible that some of these children will be wizards or witches, we're really not sure."
"I am curious as to why you went to Minister Shacklebolt first," said Samuel J. Quahog, who was the President of the The Magical Congress of the United States of America, or MACUSA for short.
"He just seemed like the right person," Yan Lin said, "though since the majority of these childrena are from America, I believe we'll be meeting a lot. I think that's all for today, though I will keep in touch." She sent them back to their offices then turned to the girls with a weary smile. "That wasn't so bad. Now, I have to tell you something. As you know, Kandrakar was created by the five Nymphs, and N'ghala became the first Oracle. What you don't know is that after that , five men on Earth had the powers of the Elements and were corrupted, and it was they who became the first Runics. I fear that the power that corrupted them is looking to make trouble."
"What power and what trouble?" Will asked anxiously.
"To explain, I need to give you a little history lesson about Metamoor. That planet was actually created by the Elements themselves. Now, while the Elements are good, those who use their powers can use them for good or evil. Being that the Elements are so powerful and somewhat sentient, the magic on Metamoor was like that as well. It separated into two magic springs, one full of light magic, and the other of dark magic. The energy of the springs each possessed a living being, who became known as the gods Gaahn and Imdahl, and when they defeated each other in battle they were absorbed into their respective springs, which possessed others. As you may remember, I told you there was a curse placed on the male Escanors by King Alonzo, who was one of the evil beings banished to Metamoor. The energy of the dark magic spring possessed him and gave him the power to overcome the good magic spring's power and create and curse the Crown of Light. This energy also spent its time looking for people to corrupt, and was behind corrupting some of your enemies, like Dark Mother."
"But how, if the spring is on Metamoor?" Taranee asked.
"The spring is very powerful, not to mention there's still the threat it poses to future Escanors, which is why I am concerned, but we'll talk about that later," Yan Lin answered. "Now, are you all excited for Elyon's ball?"
She smiled as the girls cheered.
"And it's even better now that the rest of you can bring your boyfriends," Will said. She then looked puzzled as the others smirked.
"We're engaged!" they all shrieked.
After the squealing died down, Yan Lin continued,"there are also some loose ends to wrap up, but we've all been working so hard, I say we deserve a treat." She gestured and a table with all kinds of ice cream and toppings appeared.
Yan Lin smiled as all the girls gleefully started filling their cones and bowls. It was the least she could do after all the work they were doing, she just hoped that meetings would be their only worries.

Meanwhile, on Metamoor, Queen Elyon was having a hard day. While she had wanted to accept Caleb's proposal, she decided to wait until he was familiar with royal duties, not to mention that she wanted to wait until she was more used to being Queen. Even after all this time, she felt unsure of herself, and she also felt that people only accepted her because she got rid of Phobos, not because she was a good ruler. Her advisors, however, were throwing not so subtle hints that she should look for a husband, especially since her subjects wanted her to have an heir.
She decided to accept Caleb's proposal and reveal it with a ball, but all the preparations were giving her a headache. Yes, her servants were taking care of everyrhing, but since nobles and royalty were coming from all over, even other planets(she had started trade with Arkhanta, Fenris, and Basiliade,) they were coming over to her every other minute and asking her advice.
"Your Majesty, what about the Guardians?" her maid, Nagadir, asked as she came running up. "And, your brother," she added softly.
"Oh, right," Elyon said. The Guardians of Earth were coming, as well her friends with their families and boyfriends. Well, in Will's case, her husband. She still couldn't get over the fact that Will was married, and that she'd be married soon also. Phobos was also coming, since she wanted to have a diplomatic relationship with his planet. She was still surptrised that he accepted. Thankfully, he agreed to have on a slight glamour and to be announced with a fakee name so her subjects wouldn't recognize him. Nagadir was one of the select people that she told about Phobos.
Elyon went over the seating arrangements with the staff, then went to her room with Nagadir so the maid could get her ready. She wanted to look her best! After Nagadir was done, Elyon looked at herself
anxiously; was her dress too fancy? Or not fancy enough? Her dress was a gold version of her coronation one, and was heavily embroidered with jewels and pictures of flowers in all colors. When she expressed her concerns to Nagadir, the maid said, "I wouldn't worry about it," as she tied a long white cape trimmed with gold around Elyon's shoulders and then arranged the Queen's hair into an elaborate updo.
Meanwhile, Caleb was in his room getting ready as well(he had his own room in the palace) with Vathek's and Cedric's help
"Nervous?" Vathek asked.
"Yeah, a little," Caleb answered as he looked anxiously at his outfit. Was it too fancy? Or not fancy enough? He had on a golden robe with a high collar that was embroidered with jewels of all colors, and a cape like Elyon' then went to get Elyon, while Cedric went to get Orube and Vathek went to join the guards.
Caleb and Elyon, hand in hand, went to greet their guests. After pleasantries were exchanged with the visiting royals and Elyon and her friends hugged, she and Caleb went to the balcony, since all the people of Meridian were gathered in the courtyard below.
"Attention all!" Elyon exclaimed. "I am pleased to announce my engagement to Caleb!" After the cheering died down, she continued, "as you can see, the Guardians and their families are here, as well as royals from other planets. Now, please line up and come in so we can start the dancing!"
Everyone excitedly entered the palace, the orchestra started playing, and everyone started dancing. Well, almost everyone. Phobos wasn't, as he didn't have anyone to dance with. Which was fine by him, but it was kind of awkward. As he sipped his champagne, he noticed Irma leave a blonde young man and come towards him. Before he could wonder why, Irma had grabbed his hand and was leading him towards the dance floor. Dazed, he put his glass on the table and followed her. "What about your beau?" he asked her as they whirled around.
"Stephen?" she replied. "He's okay with waiting a while to dance with me."
Not having anything else to say, and since he didn't feel like having a conversation with her, Phobos silently thanked Gaahn that he remembered his dance lessons from when he was younger. As they danced, he was surprised to feel some attraction towards her. Yes, they had been spending time together as per the Oracle's wishes, and she was older and more attractive now, but it was still surprising.
And when that dance was over and he went back to his champagne and she started dancing with Stephen, he was even more surprised to feel jealousy.
Eventually, he couldn't take being there anymore, and left with his guards.
And Irma, when she noticed he was gone, found to her surprise that she missed him and missed dancing with him.
It was an uncomfortable night for the both of them.
Instead of a bonus story, I will have one or more profiles on my original characters and MAGIC. Again, MAGIC aren't my original characters, but they only appeared in one special so we don't know a lot about them and I'm making things up, though each does have a lot of similarities with a WITCH girl, so I'm using that, and their ages are based on looks and jobs. I don't think their last names were mentioned but if they were, please correct me. No doubt there are other schools besides Sheffield that they went/go to.
