Chapter One

"It is a wonderful my life. Please could you kiss my name? When the music's over. Turn off light. It was a such a sweet time. Could you pray for me, my friend? It's starting over time!"

Viox hummed to the music playing in the background of the family owned flower shop, she carefully walked around as she watered a few plants here and there. She would lean over and see if she missed any as the small chime of the shop's bell went off, "Viox! I got some lunch for us!" her twin sister, Violet Hala called out from the front door, a greasy looking bag from a fast food shop was in one hand and two cups of what looked like sweet ice tea and an unsweetened ice tea in the other hand. Viox looked at her sister, "Did you at least get me a salad from whatever fast food joint you got that from?" she asked, as she set the watering can down on the floor next to some roses that had been trimmed earlier that day. Viox Hala, a woman of 22, her long pink hair covered the left half of her face as her big green eyes took in the world with curiosity. She was pale skinned and about 5'2", although she wore heels that added to her height. Violet Hala, the eldest twin by 2 minutes, had long black and red hair and bright blue eyes that showed nothing but strength. She stood a couple inches taller than Viox, normally wearing her thick, heavy combat boots. Viox smiled at her sibling as she walked over to her.

"Taking over night! Taking over blue time! If you heard that screaming shout in your mind! Taking over shine! Taking over shooting star! All I was talking about was music! And that's called jazz!"

Violet rolled her eyes at her sister, "of course I did!" she exclaimed as she set the drinks down on the counter before pulling the food out of the bag. She handed Viox her salad with some napkins and a fork. After Viox took her salad she grabbed her sweet ice tea. Violet pulled out her chicken nuggets and fries and her unsweetened ice tea. "Thank you, sometimes it's hard being a vegetarian." Viox said softly as she opened her cheese and hard-boiled egg salad, with some almonds and some dried fruit pieces. She took the half lemon and squeezed it into the 'rabbit food' as Violet calls it. Violet dipped her fries into ranch and popped the warm food into her mouth, taking a sip of her tea, "How are the sales from this week doing?" Violet asked as Viox took a moment, "We could try and sell more baby's breath, with Valentine's day coming up, we are selling out of rose's faster than anything, so we need to go into the greenhouse and take a bulk order for actual Valentine's day. So overall better than last week." she replied to her sibling.

Just as Violet was about to ask another question about how Viox's day was going, a man with short orange hair burst through the door, his back against the door. The twins looked up with raised brows, seeing the oranged haired man leaning against the door. "Uh...Can we help you?" Violet asked. The guy looked at the girls with a slightly panicked look on his face. "Yeah, if you could hide me that would be great!" He said, panicking as the crowd outside tried to break down the door. The girls slowly blinked at him, they looked at each other staring at each other having a silent conversation. They nodded at each other. "You can hide in the green house, but if they break anything you're paying for it" Viox said pointing towards the back where the green house was. The man nodded his head running to the back door that Viox pointed too, "Thank you" he said as he passed by them. Just has he shut the door to the green house, the crowd outside busted through the door, looking around the shop for him.

Violet stood up wiping her hands and face with a napkin. She put a smile on her face while she approached the crowd. "Can I help you?' She asked, her voice raising an octave. The crowd looked at her as she approached them. "Have you seen a guy with orange hair?" one girl said, as she eyed Violet up and down. Violet shook her head no "I don't believe we have" She answered back before continuing "If you lot aren't gonna shop here then I kindly ask you to leave the store." The crowd looked at her before they all started walking out all except one. Violet stared at her with a blank expression on her face, she raised one brow at her. "What can I do for ya?" She asked as she heard the chair scrap across the floor as she felt Viox come up behind her. "I'm sure Childe came to this shop! You two must be hiding him!" the girl accused the sisters with her arms crossed, she even stomped her foot on the ground. Violet had to fight off a laugh but failed at doing that. "What's so funny?" the girl asked her frowning at the black and red woman. "You look like a child when you stomped your foot" She said clutching her stomach from laughing hard. The girl huffed at Violet. "Ju-" Violet held up her hand stopping the girl from talking "Look he's not here so leave before I kick you out." Violet said crossing her arms, she was done being nice. "You-you can't do that!" she yelped out. "Just watch me," Violet said, taking a step forward with her arms at her said. "I'll get your manager and you'll lose your job!" She screeched out while taking a step back. Violet just laughed at her. "I own this shop with my sister, there is nothing you can do so leave before I call the cops on you for trespassing." She said, glaring at the girl. The girl looked at her before storming out of the shop.

The sisters sighed. "Well that was something," Viox said, rubbing her temples. "Agreed Sis, now lets check to see if the man in our greenhouse is messing with your hard work." Violet said as they both headed towards the back door. Viox hid behind her more confident sibling, holding the back of Violet's black tshirt, a nervous tick the younger twin had picked up over the years. Violet carefully opened the greenhouse door and peeked inside, before groaning loudly, "Viox don't look. Your famous roses are…" Viox pushed past the other and took in the mess, her green eyes welled with tears. The ginger haired man was sitting in a pile of roses and dirt, his left foot shoved inside a terracotta pot as soil covered his blue jeans, "He…" Viox began as her voice was thick with un-shedded tears. She had worked so hard on those roses. "I'm so so sorry! I swear I can replace all of these!" the man exclaimed as he stood up dusting off the soil and flower petals. Viox bit her lip as Violet wrapped a comforting arm around the pink haired woman, "You need to explain who you are and how you're going to be able to replace almost an entire months worth of rose orders." she glared at the man, who raised his hands up in surrender, "I can explain, I know you must be thinking...doesn't he look like Childe from the famous band Impact?" he said, "Well that's because I am him, and I can give you lovely ladies a signed autograph and replace the flowers." he smiled, "Now now don't crowd me all at once." as the twins stared at him from the doorway, Childe let out a nervous chuckle, "Geez tough crowd." he muttered as his phone rang, he pulled it from his pocket as the women still watched him, "I have to take this." he explained as Violet glared at him. Viox was trying to hold back tears still, her eyes still staring at the mess. Her roses were gone.

Childe cleared his throat as he answered his phone, "Hello?" he asked as multiple voices spoke through the speaker, "WHERE ARE YOU?!" one finally popped up louder than the rest, as Childe chuckled, looking at Violet, who glared, "I'm at a flower shop?" he said as the voices flowed again, "What flower shop?" a smooth and even toned voice asked as Childe paused, "What flower shop is this?" he asked Violet as snapped her fingers and held her hand out for the phone, Childe paused before handing the angry woman his cell, she snapped it up to her ear, "Hala Flower Shop, and if this is the rest of this Impact band boys, you better come get this...mess of a man, he wrecked my sisters flowers and I demand a replacement for every single flower." she snapped into the phone, her voice spoke of hell if her orders were not met. Childe felt a shiver of fear race down his spine. "I see. We are on our way there now, thank you for your assistance with this matter." the cool voice echoed again as the line went dead. Violet shoved the cell phone into Childe's hands as she went over to Viox, who had moved to collect what she could of the fallen roses, she rubbed her sisters back in a soothing way as Viox sniffled lightly. Childe felt his stomach drop into his gut, he didn't mean to cause grief for the owners of the shop, "Will she be okay?" he asked as the ice blue eyed woman snapped her head up to look at him, "She will...but I can't be sure, my sister worked incredibly hard on these flowers." She said, standing up fully and walking over to Childe. Violet crossed her arms, "You promise to replace her roses, we need them before Valentines day." as the man nodded, "I can promise they'll be here before then!" he yelped at the glare the tallest of the women was sending him. Violet broke her stare as the bell rang out from the front of the shop, signaling that someone had entered, she headed out and saw a few men gathered inside, a few larger men in black suits and dark sunglasses next to the group. Violet looked at the tallest in the group, a man with long brown hair and light brown gold eyes, "You, take your baggage." She said as she pulled Childe by his long sleeved shirt and tossed him towards the other male. "He owes my sister new flowers! Before Valentine's day!" She spat out as Viox walked from the back room, her head down as she stood behind Violet. "I'll see to it being done, thank you for securing him and not to those...girls that people call fans." He said gently in a cool even tone, as a blue haired male poked at a lily, "Diluc look, it's like your hair." He snorted as Viox's head snapped up as she rushed to slapped the man's hand away from her flowers, "You people have caused enough damage!" She shouted at the male, who shook his hand out from the sharp pain, "I've never met a woman who protected flowers so much, you're a little feisty, I like that." He winked at Viox, who's attention was on the lilies that the other touched, "Diluc...she…!" The man called to the only quiet male of the group, his hair was tied in a low ponytail as he rolled his eyes at the blue haired male, "Kaeya, think for a moment will you, not every woman is going to fall for you." Diluc said, pinching the bridge of his nose, sighing as Childe too was whining to the brown haired male about the other woman.

"Thank you, Mrs. Hala and Mrs. Hala, we shall have our Manger send the roses a day before Valentine's day, we do apologize for Childe's inconvenience as well as my brother for touching the flowers." He said towards Violet, who nodded, "Thank you. Now do me and my sister a favor and leave our shop." She said as the red eyed male nodded, herding the group out towards the limo that was parked outside the shop's door. "Seriously, just notice me a little bit?" Kaeya looked at Viox, who was tending to pots full of Snapdragons. Viox refused to pay the man any attention, her cheeks had a small hint of blush on them but she kept her head low, looking at the soil of the pots, "Here, this is my number." Kaeya said, tucking a small card under Viox's face as he walked out with the group. "See you later Violet." Childe called from the doorway as he was shoved outside by the taller of the group.

Viox let out a breath of relief as she felt her legs give out from underneath her, falling to her knees on the ground. "VIOX!" Violet called, rushing from behind the counter, kneeling next to her sibling, who was shaking like a leaf, "Are you okay?" Violet whispered softly as Viox shook her head, "He...he...he wouldn't leave me...alone…" she struggled to talk as the other growled. Viox had been in the process of still recovering from harassment and bullying for years now, she had become more of an introvert over the past years, so new people? Violet sighed as she pulled her sibling into a hug to help sooth the other, "He's gone now, don't worry." Violet said softly as Viox nodded. Violet glared at the front door where the supposed pop band left, she hoped this was the last

time she would see them.
