Writer's notes: Second draft of this one shot. The sacking of New Canaan. The difference between this and cannon is that both Graham and Ulysses must battle one an other to the death.

End of Notes

White Leg camp. The pale moon hovers above the night sky, listening to the war drums and witnessing primal human evil right at it's core. The white legs ,who have been watching the New Canaanites patrols and walls, were doing a war dance. Dancing with the hopes of becoming one with the legion. Ulysses stood unimpressed with the white legs. To erase your own history was a crime to Ulysses, but he has orders from Ceaser. He trained the white legs and told them that once they attack New Canaan. They were to kill every generation of the old tribe. The elderly, sick, women, and children. No one was to be taken prisoner. For the legion the white legs will commit this sin. They'll do whatever is necessary to achieve this goal. Like children that covet candy. The attack was to be in a few hours. Ulysses couldn't help but think of his tribe. Before the legion. Before Vulpes. He paused. He is no different than Vulpes. He can feel the spirit of Vulpes flow through him telling him lies and treachery. He knew he was about to erase a tribe that dated back thousands of years. A tribe that existed in the old world and before it. Maybe the god they follow must really be real to guide them through the war that ended the world. Maybe there god will tell them to leave or even worse. End Ulysses attack on the New Canaanites. If these people are protected by there god for this long to even out last America, than Ceaser's wraith may not matter. It's almost time to get it over with. The bull will come for the former legate. He cannot hide from history.

"a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: "Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth's abominations." And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus." (Revelation 17:3–6 ESV)

Joshua Graham was still in shock that his family welcomed him back with open arms. It's been years since he saw home. Now he was overwhelmed with the feeling of being forgiven by his family ,for atrocities he has committed. Most importantly he was forgiven by god. Forgiveness in itself can be a punishment he thought. He knows he's debts can never be forgiven, but he must try. He went into the church of New Canaan. He looked at the replica of his lord on a cross, and prayed. He prayed for forgiveness, but most importantly he repented. He can still feel the burns on his flesh from when he was covered in tar, and thrown down from the highest canyon Ceaser could find. Maybe that is the lord's repentance. To burn away all the sin Joshua has collected over the years. It was his new baptism. Like a lost sheep he came back to the heard from the wolves den of the legion. He couldn't be sure if Ceaser one he was dead as NCR rangers reported killing him five different times at the battle of Hoover dam. He cannot have died a sixth time he thought to himself. He got up from his knees and left the church feeling more determined to spread the good news. It was time to pickup right from where he stopped. The tribe leaders came to greet Joshua. They greeted him like he never left. This is his family. Daniel who accompany the tribes leaders greeted Joshua. "Good to see you back. If your ready were about to go spread the good news to some tribes not far from here. They have come to call themselves the sorrows. Innocent like children they're." Says Daniel. "Innocent? Surely they cannot be innocent. They are flesh of man that surely knows how to bring war upon there fellow man." Respond Joshua. "This tribe been isolated for so long they never experienced war. They tend to mourn the loss of life. Even those who are not one of them." Says Daniel. Joshua couldn't help but feel skeptical of this claim. Than again all he has to go off of was his experience in the legion. "I am sorry to hear about what happened to the blackfoot tribe. We have heard word of what happened with a group of doctor's calling themselves the Followers of the Apocalypse. Strange name they call themselves. Were glad to have you back. You may have strayed from the path ,but it's never too late." Says Daniel as he puts his hand on the former legate shoulder. The morning. Joshua thought. There is much work to be done.

The New Canaan patrol was dealt with swiftly and with ease. The enemy didn't know the white legs were coming. Ulysses signaled the spear men to launch the spears. Bow men with fire arrows were on stand by ready to fire after the spears were launched. The spears hurled into the air and rained down on the surprised new Canaanites. Than came the arrows hitting the wooden wall that surrounded the village. The church bells began to ring. The new Canaanites retaliated with there firearms. The White legs charged into the village with there knives and spears slicing and dicing there way in. They scalped everyone that had fallen down with screams of terror coming from there souls. Joshua wakes up and sees the battle raging outside. Something in him started to burn. His flesh started to feel like it was in fire again. His vengeance against Ceaser was finally here. He gets his sub machine hun and heads outside to take part of the defense of his family. He mowed down every white leg in hid path as he tried to get to the church. The church was filled with women, children, the sick, and old. The white legs dared to attack the house of god. Nothing was holy to them. Daniel was at the door way trying to evacuate the church as the whits legs came in through the windows. It was a disater. Joshua was too late in saving them. He sae the corpses of those who couldn't defend themselves lay across the church floor. The church bells still rang. He turns his weapon and fires it unto the unbelievers. "This is the house of god! Your not welcome here!" He shouts tearing apart the raiders. Ulysses sees the few white legs go into the church windows and get torn down. He flaks to the front door of the church and sees Joshua Graham. He raises he weapon high ready to whack Joshua in the head with. Joshua like a sixth sense turns around and grabs the weapon mid air and smashes Ulysses sides with it. Ulysses ignores his pain and he quickly grabs the gun away from Joshua. Joshua front kicks Ulysses and he stumbles back. Ulysses puts his hands up as if he were to box and starts swinging on Joshua. Joshua Doges and takes some hits. He places his hands up and tries to counter Ulysses. Ulysses knowing his oppent was trying to do hits Graham in the face. "Is that all you got? Frumentarii." Says an angery Joshua Graham. He sides steps and sweep kick Ulysses onto the ground. Ulysses rolls quickly to prevent Joshua from grabbing his sub machine gun. Joshua Stomps his noot on Ulysses back and pressed down on him to keep him from standing up. He takes out a bowie knife. He goes for the kill only for Ulysses to roll him into the ground. They both struggle trying to grab each other and toss each other off. Joshua fuled with rage manages to get on top of Ulysses and wails on him. Ulysses hands shot out and grabbed Joshua by the throat. Joshu keeps pounding him ,as he tries to strangle him. Joshua realizes the end is near reaches out and grabs the barrel of Ulysses rilfe and smacks him with the butt of the gun. Ulysses drops him and takes out old glory. The two get up off the groud and clash with their weapons. Ulysses swigs at Joshua like he is holding a baseball bat and bats him to the ground. Joshua still holding the rifle takes aim while on his back and fires a round into Ulysses head. Killing him instantly. Joshua looks at Ulysses corpses and says "Can't let god do all the work."

Writers notes. Well Looks like we got a clear winner. Okay some of you may not like how I chose the winner. Ulysses has all ten stats on his specials and 100 on his guns, explosives, and melee. While Joshua Graham has 6S, 7P, 10E, 7C, 7I, 8A, 5L. Plus Ulysses has a 1030 hit points. While Joshua Graham has a 440 hit points. Joshua has all 100 on Guns, repair, and barter. But there is on thing in all my playthrough of Fallout new vegas that makes me perfer fighting Ulysses than trying to fight Joshua. You see Ulysses has a DT of 18. Meanwhile Graham DT is a whopping 75. That right. Every time I try to kill Graham in my new vegas playthrough it is always a nightmare. Cause of that DT stat and ohh boy let not mention how powerful his .45 submachine gun is. Even in remnant power armour I have trouble realing with him. He can kill me with ease. Meanwhile Ulysses I never have a problem disposing. His DT is low and after taking out the eyebots that heal him. He can't regenerate health. He hits hard with that anti material rifle and submachine but both Graham and Ulysses have a 100 on guns. At the end of the day it comes down to DT. Now with melee or explosives Ulysses would win on a fight. But at this point in the story Graham has learned from Hoover dam about explosives and all he has to do is keep a distance from Ulysses and he would win. But Even then Joshua can pistol whip which does a 46.2 DPS. Even if Ulysses melee weapons like old glory was used Joshua DT is still too high. Yes old glory is 85.3 but distance is all Graham has to do. Not to mention Graham will have random healing items on him. Ulysses relays on his eyebots to heal him and without those eyebots Graham would win.
