Thebes, city of the living, crown jewel of Pharaoh Percy I. Home of Lukcastelon, pharaoh's high priest, keeper of the dead. Birthplace of An-na-beth, pharaoh's mistress; no other man was allowed to touch her. But for their love, they were willing to risk life itself.

{An-na-beth}

Clad in only a thong but otherwise naked accept for the gold and black paint on her body placed upon her as a security measure, An-na-beth walked through her residence with pride and determination. While walking through her halls, she looked the statues where Lukcastelon's priests were standing. Being given a knowing look, the priests head towards the door to close it. The door closed, An-na-beth continued on to her balcony.

When she pushed the curtains aside, she saw her beloved waiting for her.

{LUKCASTELON}

When he saw her in her black and gold paint, Lukcastelon eagerly awaited for his lover to approach, and approach she did. He embraced her in a deep kiss (unknowingly smearing her body paint as he caressed her). They were so wrapped up in their passion when the sound of a door opening and a voice alerted Lukcastelon that someone was coming.

"The pharoah!"

Lukcastelon then hid behind a corner waiting.

{PERCY}

Percy was returning from a chariot ride through Thebes and headed into the palace. When he got their, he didn't know he was walking into a trap set by the two people he trusted most.

When he opened the door to An-na-beth's residence, he was surprised to see Lukcastelon's priests (who at least bowed before him)

{An-na-beth}

Leaning against a nearby statue with her right hand resting on said statue and her left hand on her rear, An-na-beth gave Percy an expressionless look.

{PERCY}

When Percy approached An-na-beth, he grew suspicious as to what was going on.

When he got close, he noticed that the paint on her left shoulder was smudged as if someone else had touched her.

"Who has touched you?!" Percy demanded.

An-na-beth looked at her shoulder and then looked behind him.

{LUKCASTELON AND AN-NA-BETH}

The moment Percy turned to face him, Lukcastelon grabbed his own sword from underneath him.

Standing in shock, Percy exclaimed, "Lukcastelon! My priest!"

While this exchange was going on, An-na-beth drew a dagger, raised it over her head, and stabbed Percy in the back hard, a small smile on her face as she cut deeper, knowing that she would soon be free of her bond as the pharaoh's concubine.

As Percy turned around, Lukcastelon hacked him in the stomach with the sword, causing Percy to double over. It wasn't long before An-na-beth and Lukcastelon got further into it, each of them stabbing Percy two more times, watching as he fell to the floor dead.

Unfortunately, just as they'd finished off Percy, guards banged against the door, having been alerted by Percy's daughter, Fenutara (who leaned too far over the balcony of her own residence and fell to her death), to his danger.

Hearing the loud banging, Lukcastelon said in alarm, "Pharaoh's bodyguards."

Urging Lukcastelon to flee while she dealt with the guards, An-na-beth said, "You must go! Save yourself!"

"No." Lukcastelon said.

"Only you can resurrect me!" An-na-beth said.

No sooner had she said that did Lukcastelon's priests drag him by the arms to get him away.

"An-na-beth!" Lukcastelon called out.

"Lukcastelon!" An-na-beth called back.

"You will live again!" Lukcastelon shouted, "I WILL resurrect you!"

{AN-NA-BETH}

Just after Lukcastelon got away, the medjai guards burst through the curtains, all of them gasping in shock at the sight of the Pharaoh's lifeless body and the blood-stained dagger in An-na-beth's hand.

Just as the guards were about to put two and two together, An-na-beth, wanting to die a free woman rather than suffer the punishment for murdering the pharaoh, defiantly shouted, "My body is no longer his temple!"

With that, she stabbed herself the stomach, hoping that she would be brought back to life.
