"Man today was the absolute worst. This is what I get for not doing the damn assignments on time and only the exams. Literally, I have the worst luck ever. "

This tale follows the life of an unfortunate and young soul by the name of Sean Wang. He is a fourth-year university student in the USA. After having yet experienced a stressful and uneventful day he made his way off the campus to follow through with his other plans for the evening. However, what young Sean does not know is his life is going to change forever in just a few short moments. Let us return to the current rambling he is going through.

As he is walking his phone alerts him of many notifications. Sean then sees it is from the group chat that he and his friends made. The young man can't help but laugh and smile at the bizarre comments and plans that they are trying to decide on.

[Ren]: So what are the deaaaaal bois? Bar time?

[Timmy]: Hell nah bro I ain't getting drunk again. You guys go too hard for no reason lmao.

[Justin]: Wow Timmy, when did you become a bitch?

[Ren]: Sheesh. Y'all need to chill.

[Timmy]: Man I can get no respect out here. I guess people hate on those who are just clearly better.

[Justin]: Cap. That is fucking cap.

[Timmy]: Lol but for real what we doing guys?

[Ren]: Idk but why the hell Sean not responding?

Mr. Wang takes a moment to figure out what they should do. Just like Timmy mentioned, he was not in the mood to get wasted. His options were limited and it would be a waste if they all just sat at home doing nothing. He then replies to his friends about his plan.

[Sean]: Alright. What about some Smash and some food? I'm dying for pizza honestly.

[Ren]: GAYYYYYYYY

[Justin]: Fuck it why not. That sounds better than wasting my time and money at a bar lmao.

[Timmy: Bet bet bois. Who is hosting?

[Sean]: Nice. I can if that is fine with y'all?

[Justin]: Say less.

[Ren]: Bet bro.

[Timmy] : Okay.

[Sean]: Go ahead and meet me there. I'm almost off-campus and then I'll get the pizza fools.

[Justin]: Dear God just don't get pineapple, please.

[Timmy]: Look who is the bitch now.

[Ren]: Now now ladies, we can settle this on Smash. One stock only at 150% damage should be good right?

Putting his phone away Sean grins to himself. Tonight feels like it'll be fun for him and his friends. With the school semester ending and graduation right around the corner, his life would become a lot busier. Still, he would try to put in the effort to ensure he and his friends spend some time together.

The unlucky man finally exits the campus and lets out a loud yawn, "While my day went as usual I am just glad that my group and I were able to finish our project. This compact solar generator is going to kickass! Now I just need to get home so we can finally get that Smash Bros night going."

If he gets home, that is. He wouldn't be here if it was that simple. Sean made his way through the empty parking lot with only his case and backpack. Suddenly, a wave of drowsiness overwhelmed his senses. Each step he took only worsened his current predicament. Taking off his glasses to rub his eyes, provided some relief but only for a moment as he started to see a black mist form in front of him. Then it disappeared as if it was not even there just mere seconds ago. The young male continued his short journey and as he had his car within sight the mist appeared again only with strange hands coming towards him. At that moment, fear overrode his mind as he stood there. He closed his eyes hoping for his death to be instant.

'God! I'm so fucking unlucky! I just wish I could have left earlier. Now how am I gonna know when Steel Ball Run is going to get animated?! And how does Re: Zero ends?! Wait, these hands look famil- ' The terrified man's inner thoughts were interrupted as the dark mist had consumed him whole.

It was at this point that Sean Wang came to be pronounced missing, then eventually presumed dead from the rest of the world. Those that knew him cherished their time and memories with him. While he lived a pointless and crude life it was only a matter of time for the poor basta- oh I'm going off script, my apologies. Mr. Wang had many shares of misfortunes in life, but it is through his friends that his memory will continue to live on. Even though he lived a life similar to spending time in Purgatory, he continued nonetheless. That is why in certain instances such as this it is best to fix mistakes that could have been avoided initially. Yes, his terrible luck was a fault on my end.

You're probably wondering, 'Who are you Mr. Narrator?', and to answer that I'm just an old man. Many cultures interpreted me in all sorts of ways. Although, that does not matter as our friend Sean here was someone I did a terrible job in providing with a 'normal' life so to speak. That is why I decided to do a few 'projects' and tampered with other universes. Easy stuff, in my opinion.

Look, in short, I pray that the boy experiences some fun for a chance. This time he will live in another place where I hope he succeeds more than in his previous life. It is the best that I can do for him with all that he has gone through. In time he will discover the gifts I left for him along the way. Now enjoy his new story! His life begins again from zero!

And so...the journey begins...for the unfortunate soul known as Sean Wang.

Sound, lots and lots of different sounds are what I heard around me. A cacophony of noises ranging from footsteps, chattering, breathing, and the ringing in my ears that won't go away. It all feels like a mosquito is stuck in my ear. Make that like a thousand mosquitos. Eventually, I overcome that short daze, letting my senses settle down and feeling at ease.

After taking the time to get my bearings in check I finally opened my eyes to see what the hell is going on. When the hell did it go from night to day? The shit I am seeing looks very familiar that it's almost irritating. Buildings ranging from different sizes looked like they belonged in medieval times and the people were a whole different story. While I can see normal-looking people I see other people with fur, claws, scales, furry ears, you name it and it's probably there. The only answer is that they are some type of demihumans from what I knew from watching lots of isekai anime. Wait, that reminds me, this feels like an isekai.

As I continue to linger on this thought I start to notice the looks I'm getting. People are eyeing me like I'm some freaking weirdo that left his weiner hanging out. It's beginning to really worry me that I am feeling uncomfortable. I decide to move from this place and begin walking aimlessly.

The Sun and its rays are beaming at this time as I realize some sweat is starting to form. I checked myself and notice I'm still carrying the case for my group project and my backpack. Not only that I'm wearing jeans, a hoodie saying 'Oppai' on the front, and a white dad hat with an Adidas logo; yup, this is not helping my situation. I need to take a break somewhere quick before I tire myself out.

Looking around, I find a bench in the shade and begin approaching it. It is the only ideal solution in mind, sue me. After finally taking a seat I evaluate my current situation. This all seems so surreal that in all honesty, it's pissing me off. I enjoy watching isekai but not getting isekai'd myself! This is absurd in all honesty! Now I just need to find the asshole that summoned me here so I can be on my way home again. The shadowy hands from earlier could be the clue to figuring it out. A slight pain comes from my head. It feels like an inner me is calling me stupid for not recognizing this whole setting.

In the distance, I can hear some shouts as people bundle up around some bizarre event. Being the person I am I don't feel like checking what the hell is going on. Since the matter does not concern me I ignore it. I won't waste my time just checking it out. I jumped suddenly when the people started to cheer. As a result, I almost drop my glasses but for some reason, I have some impressive reflexes. This action only continues to worry me.

Back to my earlier thoughts, the hands indeed looked familiar. It feels like the memory is there but it just isn't coming out. Lightly tapping my hands I begin to think of where this shit is from. If only some sign could help in this predicament then maybe I can figure out what to do.

"Stop right now, thief!"

My head jolts right back up as I see a golden blur move at a quick pace. Following right behind it is a silver-haired girl that I swear I know. Then it hit me like a Jotaro with his 'Ora Ora' signature move.

"That's Emilia. No freaking way." I whispered to myself.

I just couldn't believe what I just witnessed. After seeing that it's like a dam broke within my mind allowing all the memories to flow through. This is certain, no, without a doubt this is Re: Zero.

"God, why do you hate me? Why did I get isekai'd to this hell hole?" I pleaded to myself as I register what complete agony awaited for me.

Now that answers how I got here. Satella, the Witch of Envy, summoned me here without my consent. If she intends for me to free her then she is going to be sealed for a bit longer. Saving her is at the bottom of my list of activities that need to be done. I can feel my anxiety rise just thinking about all the issues I'm going to have to deal with. I hardly watched the anime for Re: Zero; however, I know more about the other Arcs of the light and web novels. Except for Arc 7 since attending university made it impossible to do anything fun. This helps ease my worries as I can plan for future events if needed. However, I have to make a decision now in either taking the route of helping Emilia and being like Simpbaru or take the Sloth IF route early and find me a girl to love and run away. My intuition is telling me bad things will happen no matter which road I take.

That thought then reminds me that I can do whatever I want. Although, the reasonable side of me knows that this is naive thinking. If I plan my events right I could work it out in my favor. I just need to figure out what is the end goal in all this so that it is worth it. Still, knowing my luck I am probably going to die hundreds if not thousands of times over before I can say 'E.M.T'.

After seeing Emilia and Felt disappear from my sight I decide on my next course of action. There is one decision that only makes sense for geniuses like me. I pressed my glasses up as a true smart MC would.

"This shit ain't my problem." I proudly stated as I walked in the opposite direction.

While helping Emilia sounds fun it just doesn't seem logical. Simpbaru made that decision and it led him down a path of misery and pain. Besides, this is the clown's doing and I will not try to complete a fool's errand. I won't take the bait and will not venture down that route. I will take my horrible luck to the grave before I ever do that. Actually, now that I think about it I would die a lot anyway if I went that route. That shit doesn't matter now. The half-elf will figure it out on her own.

Making my way through Lugnica, I realize if I was going to get by I would need to get some money. If I recall the currency here is with some type of coins so the money on me would be useless. Also, I know damn well that debit or credit isn't going to work here anytime soon. I know there are four types of coins: Copper, Silver, Gold, and Holy coins. Valuing each one will take time but hopefully, it will go smoothly.

Sighing at myself, I keep walking and let the road take me where I need to go. Being isekai'd into this only meant that my actions and decisions would shape how this all goes from here on out. In all honesty, it is a terrifying but exhilarating thought. However, just like Simpbaru, that means I have no powers to back me up. That is my current answer at the moment anyway. Other individuals like Al, Hoshin, and Flugel, all had some sort of ability when coming here. Then again, Flugel is an enigma and I might be wrong about what he is truly all about. I do not feel any different than when I got here so I have no clue. Moving on, if I do not tread carefully then I can get myself into some nasty situations. It will be up to Lady Fate in how my new life goes from here on out.

Walking through this long road provided a clear view of how big the royal capital is. If I just kept doing this pointless task then it would get me nowhere. Getting a job is not something I see myself doing soon. The only thing I wanted to do is kick back and let shit go on without me. Money is important. If I just do some favors here and there then I could get by just fine. Now that I think about it sounds a lot harder than expected.

"If only my luck wasn't so bad then maybe I wouldn't feel so miserable right now," I admitted with a depressing cloud hanging over my head. As I stopped for a moment another person bumped into me from my rear. The asshole that hit me is lucky I didn't fall. As I turned around to roast the bastard I see them on the ground.

From the clothes they wear, I know they are a part of the upper-class here in the kingdom; nobles, so to speak. I started to sweat knowing they are probably going to call the Knights on me for some shit like assault. God this fucking sucks! Barely the first hour and my poor luck is getting me into trouble.

The nobleman finally gets up and looks at me. He dusted himself off and did something I never knew anyone would do, he bowed. "My sincerest apologies young man. I became too careless and tripped causing my clumsy self to stumble onto you. I hope you can forgive me." The nobleman apologized with actual sincerity.

"Sure, uh you're forgiven," I replied awkwardly. He suddenly grasps my hands and shakes them.

"Really now? Any other man here would have been angry for such an act occurring. It seems you are a kind man indeed."

I just smile nervously not knowing if he would snitch to the authorities or something. I just nodded and he offered his hand for me to shake properly. I then heard him speak again, "Now, I must be on my way. Please have a good rest of your day young lad." Just like that, the noble walks past me.

Whatever that man has to do must be important to let something like that go. I expected nobles to be more stuck up. I just shook my head to get over what just occurred moments ago. Then, I looked down and see what looked to be a small brown bag. From the looks of it seems full to the brim with some round shape items. I reached down for the bag and decided to open it. At that point, I know something is wrong. The freaking bag had coins in it!

I started to think to myself that this is an accident and it would be best to give it back to the man. Although, as I tried to find the man I couldn't see him in the distance for the life of me. By the time I did my hairline would probably already recede to the back of my head.

It was then that I decided that keeping the money on me would be the smart choice. Putting it in my backup would be ideal. I quickly slid my backpack off my shoulder and stuffed the bag into it. For once in my shitty life luck is on my side for some odd reason. Still, I would take my wins whenever they presented themselves.

Getting myself reorganized I kept walking with no goal in mind. For some reason, I couldn't help but think about how Emilia is doing. Knowing her, she is probably miserable.

For a fact, I know I'm right. Haha.

"Oh no! I lost her for sure." Emilia whined as she continued to search in a panic manner. The half-elf stopped for a moment to catch her breath. She then continued, "If only I had some way to track her. Although I'm completely out of ideas." Emila knows if she does not find the thief soon then her insignia will be gone forever. This means she would be disqualified from the Royal Selection and can no longer run to be a candidate for the throne. She then feels some rustling coming from her hair. A small furry individual appeared.

"Well Lia, you should have been a little bit more careful. If we hadn't lost Ram in the first place then I expect we wouldn't be stuck in this predicament," said the new individual.

"You're right Puck, I'm sorry. I just saw Ram there for a mere moment then she was gone! Now I don't even know what the thief looks like to know where to start."

"True, but don't worry about Ram. For now, we can keep looking and hopefully stumble into them," Puck commented.

"I doubt that Puck. I would try asking someone but I doubt anyone would want to help me. I feel so hopeless." The half-elf admitted as she began to lose her resolve. She sat down on the small bridge covering a small body of water. Her thoughts begin to be full of doubt about how her Insignia will not return.

Puck could only look on with a small frown on his face. As Emilia's surrogate father, he had a responsibility to ensure that she lived a life she could be happy about. With the way things are going, it looks like it's to be for the worst. Snapping himself out of his thoughts he started to think. If they could find a good spot to get a good look at how Lugnica was laid out, then it could be possible that they find the thief. Even if it seemed like a long shot it is better than just continuing letting his daughter mope about her loss.

After carefully constructing his plan he then proceeded to get Emilia's attention, "Listen, Lia, I know that you wish this could have been avoided but there is some good that comes from this." The Great Spirit sees that she is looking at him with confusion. "Life is always not going to go your way. It is up to you to determine how events unfold in the end. As long as you don't give up then I will make sure to have your back now no matter what!" Puck proclaimed as he gave her a small thumbs up. He then sees the girl give him a small smile.

"Of course Puck, you know just what to say. Okay! Then please continue helping me by getting my insignia back."

"You bet! Now then, we won't find the thief here on leveled ground. We need to get somewhere higher."

"You're right. I think I recall a spot somewhere. However, if Ram was here she could have just used her ability to find the thief." commented Emilia. This got a nod in affirmation from Puck. After finally figuring out their plan the duo started to make their way to the spot that Emilia remembered.

'Just you wait, I will get my insignia back! I have to become King no matter what!'

Despite this claim, Emilia continues to remain unaware of the danger looming ahead.

"Ah man, this burger is good". Burrrp

After walking for what felt like hours I used the money I stol- I mean, "found", to get myself something to eat. Currently, I'm in the Commercial District of the capital which is larger than I anticipated. There are many different stalls throughout here offering a wide variety of foods and items from all kinds of vendors. But, me being the cheap bastard I am, I didn't want to run the risk of myself getting scammed or robbed. So I just kept walking and hoped to find an inn or restaurant of some kind. Then, by some miracle, I accidentally found the restaurant where Anastasia interrogated that poor bastard Simpbaru. Honestly, thinking back to that event reminds me of how naive that fool was in the story. That place reeked of a setup from the beginning. I just hope I don't come across that witch-in-a-scarf woman.

Anyhow, feeling satisfied after the burger I proceeded to find an inn since I do not want to sleep on the streets. The last thing I need is waking up buck naked with people tryna sell me off as a slave somewhere (reference if you know lol). That is a nightmare in itself and it would be best not to go down that horrible route. Plus it will be a few hours before I have to make my way to the Loot House. I changed my decision from earlier about helping Emilia. In actuality, I am doing this for Felt and Rom because they are in the most immediate danger. Once I have the needed reinforcements it will be up to me to ensure that I can aid in any way I can. While I enjoy being an asshole I can't help listening to the good guy in me to save people.

Even though I find myself enjoying my time roaming around the royal capital I can't help but feel a bit guilty. I know somewhere out there a certain half-elf is trying her hardest to get her little badge back from Felt. She is probably walking aimlessly with Puck no less. That reminds me, Puck is a damn bastard. He shows no sympathy for mortal life for God's sake. If Subaru is a basic simp then that makes Puck a super simp! Actually, no Subaru is still Simpbaru.

Still, it would be best to give the girl some help. If by some chance I can find Reinhard then maybe he can stop all that crap at the Loot House. Deciding on this course of action, I enact Operation Red Head OP Bastard! Definitely did not just come up with that. I take a peek around and people are still giving weird looks. A man can't do anything without getting judged, huh?

Once I decide on that I start looking around for the strongest knight. If I can't find him in two hours then I'm going to the Knights Garrison and give them some kind of warning. Although, if I did that then they would need proof which would be almost impossible. Yup, Reinhard is the only answer.

Passing the countless waves of Lugnican citizens I feel another bastard run into me. Seriously, do people not know where the hell they are going?! Again, I psych myself up in case this turns into some scuffle. For all, I know it could be those three goons that robbed Subaru for several loops. I turned around and see a man with red hair, blue eyes, white pants, and a white high collared tailcoat. Looking at his right hip I saw the infamous Dragon Sword Reid. It is definitely THAT knight.

Reinhard gave me an apologetic smile. To be honest I couldn't blame the guy. This place is full of people and I bet bumping into people is common practice here, I think. I see the knight give me a slight bow. I just hope this doesn't start to be the usual routine for me.

"Forgive me, sir, I did not see you there for a moment. I was lost in thought." Reinhard admitted.

"Yare yare daze. For a knight, you're quite blind huh?" I gave a smug grin which only made the knight raise an eyebrow. sigh "What made you so distracted that would make you bump into me?" I asked knowing that the man in front of me would tell the whole truth.

"Well it is my day off and I do not have much to do. Still, I can't help but take a stroll around the city to ensure that the citizens are safe. It is my duty, of course." Reinhard answered, giving a kind smile to me. Even though I have read about this guy and just met him I can't help but like him. The redhead then asks, "How rude of me. I am Reinhard van Astrea, Royal Knight of Lugnica. And you are sir?"

I start to sweat bullets. While I know this encounter was bound to happen I have to be extra careful. Even though he seems nice and all he is without a doubt the most powerful person in the world. I can't forget that Pandora and Satella exist but knowing Reinhard he would fight them with all his might. Just seeing them fight would probably end the world for all I know. Crap, I'm getting off track. There is still an OP knight in front of me.

"I know about you, Sir Reinhard. You are of course the Sword Saint. To answer your question I am Sean Wang, but you can call me Sean." I responded.

Reinhard smiled again, probably because of me dropping formalities. "Nice to meet you, Sean. I will kindly extend the offer of you calling me Reinhard." I then see him give a neutral posture and tone. Knowing damn well what is coming next from his mouth. "If you don't mind my asking, but are you perhaps a foreigner visiting Lugnica? From the way you dress, I can't quite tell where you are from Sean." questioned the knight with a slight authority that I almost miss.

"Ugh, you're right I am not from here. I have terrible luck and due to recent unfortunate events have led me here alone. And from where I originate, even if I showed you a map I doubt you would know of it. Let's just say I come from somewhere far out in the west." I replied truthfully knowing that I needed to comply. His Divine Protection of Wind Indication will see right through my bullshit. Not only that, his Divine Protection of Empathy will be alerting him of any malice coming off me. Though I got no beef with Reinhard. This guy would cut me down before I can even do anything.

I see Reinhard analyzing my answer trying to find one hint of suspicion. I got so caught up in finding this guy that it is starting to seem like a double-edged sword in my opinion. I hold my breath waiting for my punishment. Gosh, it feels like an eternity just waiting for something to happen. Then, he just smiled and lightly patted my shoulders like we were old pals. I release my breath and I'm glad that I did not end up in prison. He motions for me to walk with him and I do so.

"Hm, Sean I would like more details but I can tell you are being honest." No shit you handsome bastard. "Anyway, I am quite curious about the items you have on your person. While I am no stranger to a travel sack I don't recall seeing an item like the one you are carrying." The Sword Saint inspected my case like a curious child. "It seems rather large and is made from such a strange material. Is it perhaps a metia?"

"Thank you, Reinhard. To answer your question you are partially correct. The case itself is not a metia." I see the knight give me a slightly shocked expression. I think this is the first time seeing the cool and calm knight so confused. I pressed my glasses up a bit and continued, "The metia is inside the case. I place it in there to keep it safe and to carry it with ease. You can say I am an inventor of a sort." By the time I finished Reinhard just got even more curious. I could tell he did not want to pry any further than needed. I still had stuff I wanted to keep to myself of course.

I realize that if I stick with the Metia Inventor occupation I should be safe. Let's people know I'm not broke and that I'm somewhat intelligent. My degree that I almost got in Mechanical Engineering will be to my benefit here for sure. Long as I can apply what I know it will only be a matter of time till I am the next Hoshin in the making. Well, I hope that is the case. Right now that stuff doesn't matter.

Moving on, I still need to act like I want to know the guy a bit more. Even though I know the majority of his character already. "So Reinhard what do you like to do for fun?" I asked innocently.

"Well, training comes to mind."

"Training? Come on, do you like to drink? Maybe hang out with some friends?"

"I often train with my friends so I guess that is what I like to do for fun. What about you Sean?"

"That sounds really boring Reinhard. You probably need to get yourself a woman haha. And I like to just create and fix things."

"The Dragon Kingdom and its citizens come first. Love from strangers is not necessary. What exactly do you mean by creating and fixing things? You need to be more specific Sean." The Sword Saint inquired and I knew he was amused by this conversation.

"Come on Rein you need to ease up a bit." I crack my neck a bit. "I like to mess with anything dealing with metias and devices in general. The process of reverse engineering excites me." I answered, seeing him confused once again.

"Rein? Is this some sort of nickname Sean? And what is this term 'reverse engineering' you speak of?" Reinhard asked.

"Reinhard still feels too formal so Rein will do. Is that cool with you?" I see him not quite understanding and still reluctantly nodding in agreement. "Great! For the other question, it's when you take a current or new invention and take it apart to have a greater understanding. Does that satisfy your curiosity?"

"I see now. Yes, I understand now that you mention it." I forget he has high intelligence so he can pick up on anything like it's nothing. "I am glad to have met you, Sean. You are indeed an interesting fellow." I shake his hand knowing that we were pals at this point. Well, I hope anyway.

Even so, I have yet to bring up the topic I wanted to speak to him about originally. If this goes well then the Loot House incident will go as planned. Finally, getting the chance, I confess to him about the coming danger, "Reinhard, there is something you need to know. It is urgent and some people may get hurt."

Reinhard immediately notices my tone and gets serious. Lowkey, I feel a bit intimidated. He then decides to answer me back, "What is the issue, Sean? I will do my best to aid you in any way that I can."

"Later this afternoon there will be a deal going down in the Slums near the Loot House, to be exact." I wait to see his reaction and he is processing the information. More than likely using his Divine Protection to see if it is true. Good. "Even if this sounds like a rumor I think you should go. The Slums are awful as it is and it would be bad if innocent lives are lost. I am telling you this because I know you can handle this and that you know I am telling the truth. I will be there ahead of time but I need to make my preparations first. Going alone would be the best bet and involving more knights than necessary may raise suspicion leaving the perpetrators with an easy escape. So, what do you think?" I replied nervously knowing that I could jeopardize our friendship. Then, he gives me a salute placing his fist upwards on his chest.

"Sean, I believe you. While I do not know how you obtained this information I will heed your warning and do what is needed. It is, of course, my duty. I advise you to be careful and I will ensure that this incident is handled. You have my word as a Royal Knight." Reinhard responded with the utmost confidence. I couldn't help smiling and feeling assured that he would have my back.

"Thanks, Rein. May the Dragon be with you."

"Likewise, Sean."

At that point, we departed ways, We have our objectives and I know for a fact this can still go downhill no matter what. If I could just complete this arc without dying then my life will be simple for sure.

Still, why do I get this feeling that I am going to be completely wrong?

A gorgeous woman, with porcelain skin, wearing a black and purple feathered cloak appeared from the darkness with her heels filling the dusty alleyway with noise. Underneath her cloak is a provocative strapless dress that exposed much of her breast and abdomen. Her wavy raven hair consisted of a braid on the left side and a purple rose on her head which swayed as she possessed such menacing, but gorgeous purple eyes.

'It's simple Elsa, the client wants you to acquire the insignia by any means necessary. However, failure is not an option. You'll be severely punished. Understand?'

The Bowel Hunter, Elsa Granhiert, discreetly navigated the royal capital. Making her way east towards her destination: The Slums.

'Yes, Mama.'

This job is going to go like many others she has taken for the Assassination Organization. Murder those who oppose her by how she sees fit, the bowels, of course. As long as no one such as the Sword Saint appeared then no one could stop her. Although, the fighter within her wouldn't mind a good fight here and there.

'Meili will of course accompany you. The client wants this to be done, but she will be your support if it is needed. I am expecting the best from the both of you.'

Elsa would not fail Mama. Even she knew failure is not an option. She has to see through this task to the bitter end. A sinister smile appeared on her face as she could not wait to see who would be her next prey. This of course is the only lifestyle she has known since she was young. Because this is what a Bowel Hunter is all about.

'This will be fun, I just know it.'

"I should be in the clear now. That was a nice break though heh."

The thief finally stood up from her resting place on one of many roofs available around the royal capital. When she heard her client needed a badge from some girl she knew the job would be a piece of cake. No one can match her speed which made pickpocketing easy as one, two, three. Once she found her target it was over before the clueless girl could even react. While they tried to catch her there was no way in hell she was going to get caught. The only worry she had now is if the client had at least ten Holy coins to pay for this useless badge.

"Whatever, the badge is acquired. Now I just need to get to Old Man Rom and this will be over with."

Looking at the Slums in the distance she couldn't help but feel if there is more to her life. Since a child, she has had to rely on thievery to get herself by. Without the help and care of Old Man Rom, she would be dead for sure. She just hopes that it will not be long before they can live comfortably. The thief knows Rom is getting too old and needs to care more about himself than her. Still, she just needs more time until then.

"Alright, time to move. This badge isn't going to sell itself anytime soon." Said Felt as she maneuvered across the rooftops with finesse.

A/N: Hope you like the first chapter! I have been wanting to write this for a while and I am happy I have done so. Many other Re: Zero fanfics have helped me get inspired to write this and I will mention them in the next chapter. Also, please leave your reviews and I will answer them when I can.

Well, that's it for now. Till next time amigos.
