"Oh God, harder… yes… yes… right there… Chuck!"

She was screaming under him as he thurst into her. The moment she clenched around him, he knew he couldn't hold it in any longer and finally let himself spill into her. He stilled for a moment before rolling his sweaty body off of hers.

He figured he needed to say something first since the awkwardness was suffocating both of them. But what could he say? What do you say to a woman after not seeing each other for 6 years and then immediately jumping into amazing sex?

"So… we should probably keep things casual… this doesn't mean anything." he almost whispered at her. He wasn't sure why he said that, it was definitely not how he felt, but it was his default line. Did she even hear him? Was his king size bed always this big? How was she so far away? Why wasn't she saying anything?

After what felt like an eternity, she finally replied, "Um yeah, definitely. This definitely doesn't mean anything."

"You have to admit, it was pretty good though…"

"Ha, so full of yourself. Nothing has changed all these years then?" she said as she laughed and boy did he miss that laugh, "... But yes, it was good. We should do it again sometime."

"Let's do it again all the time… we can keep this up, just no strings attached."

"Yeah, sure, why not?" she said as she began to get dressed again, first slipping back into her underwear.

"Hey, it's late, why don't you just sleep here… it's 3am after all."

She paused for a moment before replying and it again felt like an eternity to him. He could almost slap himself for saying that. Honestly, he could slap himself for everything he said that night.

"Yeah, sure, why not?" And with that she threw his undershirt over her head and crawled back under the covers.

"You seem to be saying that a lot. The Blair I knew was always sure of what she wanted."

"Well maybe you don't know me anymore."

And there it was, one of his biggest fears confirmed. 6 years was a long time. He had changed a lot. He had finally grown into the mature CEO of Bass Industries that he failed to be in high school. He was finally emotionally stable enough to join Lily, Serena, and Eric for family brunch every other Sunday. If he could change this much, how much could Blair have changed? Then again he didn't change so much… he was still best friends with Nate and unable to commit to a woman do maybe Blair also didn't change much.

Somewhere between all these thoughts he realized Blair was snoring softly. She must have been so tired. From what he gathered, she flew in today from London and came directly to Serena and Nate's engagement party. Could that be why she ended up in his bed? Seeing her best friend and ex-boyfriend celebrate their love? Despite how happy she appeared to be for them, he was sure, some part of it must have hurt enough to drive her into his bed tonight.

He wasn't complaining though, maybe this was the best situation for both of them… he didn't get much further than that because he soon realized he was quite tired as well and he drifted off to sleep.

So what do you guys think? Sorry it's quite short but I just wanted to set things up first. I always worry I'm making Chuck a little too mature but let's hope he did some growing up these years haha.
