This story, the first one I've finished, happened because of two people.
One looked over my shoulder and told me (Ok demanded) I should write a story where Touma and Mikoto get married.
The other was Blankow who I was sharing my failed attempts at a Kamikoto with. A suggestion that the pairing may work better when they are older, my counter about maybe a one shot. It turned out I was wrong.
Then an idea, appropriately on Valentine's Day, and I quickly roughed up the first chapter which I sent to Blankow. It all snowballed from there and this work of twelve chapters produced in two months is the result.
Since then Stryper and Blankow have been my sounding board for drafts, and other ideas (including a sequel to this). There help has been vital as I've tried to find my feet writing stories, and very much appreciated. Many thanks.
For those of you who may wish to go deeper. You should realise when you read this is that most locations and things are real, or at least me researching technology and medicine and extrapolating into the future. You can eat Mikoto's meal in Chapter 7, and it costs 4200 yen. The speaker in Chapter 9 is a Cambridge Yoyo. That's what has been playing music while I wrote this. I want to go to the pool in Chapter 8 which is as described. (mentioned in Chapter 11) have videos on you tube. I've read about rehabilitation, teenage brain chemistry, keyhole surgery, nerve surgery, MRIs, Honda S660 sports cars, how EMI interferes with Bluetooth, and hopefully I have not made any glaring errors.
I'm putting up the seven chapters of week one first (15/5/21) and will put the rest up ASAP. I've not looked at it for a month, and I am putting some final tweaks in as I now benefit from fresh eyes with feedback in hand.
