A note to my family
Gather as many witnesses as possible before the snow sticks to the ground. That's when they'll come for us. Don't look for us. There isn't time to waste. Remember Tanya, Siobhan, Amun, Alistair, all the nomads you can find. We'll seek out Peter and Charlotte on our way. We're so sorry that we have to leave you this way, with no goodbyes or explanations. It's the only way for us. We love you.
We just left them, for Renesmee's safety. I have shared with Bella a name and address, where she can go. She just needs to use it wisely. Neither Edward, nor Bella, nor I can afford to lose Renesmee.
Even though we could not risk our lives by fighting, we had to do something. Being away from them is the only option we have. There has to be someone who can help us. We are going to Mexico for Peter and Charlotte.
"Hey Peter, how are you?" Jasper greeted us when we entered the house. The house looked old and had few photo frames, not at all like Carlisle's house.
"Hey man, long time. I am good. How are you?" Jasper grinned and nodded. He was very excited to meet Peter. After all, it had been centuries since they met. I know, you must be debating whether Jasper would jump or scream as soon as he sees Peter. But not to forget, this is Jasper we are talking about. This is the only difference between us, I express each emotion, and he is always calm.
"And this is?" Peter wondered. He looked at me. His eyeing me did not make me uncomfortable but made me wonder what he was thinking.
"Hi, I am Alice, Jasper's " I was about to complete when "My girlfriend. She is my mate," Jasper disclosed and held my hand.
"Okay, okay. Come sit. This is Charlotte, my mate." He introduced us to his mate. We greeted each other and settled. We sat opposite each other on the couch. Jasper looked at me and I nodded, indicating to him to come to the main point.
"I need help," Jasper said. "My niece, umm we need help."
The first time I had seen Jasper hesitate, was with his friend. They were both soldiers working together for a vampire when they were newly born vampires. He understands the feelings of people around him better than other vamps.
I continued, "Actually, my brother Edward has this biological daughter" I could see that both of them were shocked. Their eyes widened with fear.
" Umm, an immortal child!" Charlotte whimpered loudly. The existence of an immortal child is indeed a very hard topic to digest. I hope they agree to be our witnesses. We need as many witnesses as possible for Nessie.
" But she is no harm," I defended. We explained to them how she is in control of herself. She doesn't hunt but eats human food. Even though she is an immortal child, she is calm and does not attack any person. She has a heart, blood running in her veins, but also has vampire powers. Powers of showing people what she wants to tell. Her powers are harmless. We asked them to be our witnesses and they agreed. Peter trusts Jasper, to not disagree. We asked them to go to Forks, Washington.
