Author's Note

Inspired by one of my recent favorited fanfictions Get With The Times! by Game2002 and Reactions of the Living Dead by equach, this story will be a reaction fic by the main cast of Zombie Land Saga (particularly the seven members of Franchouchou), as they watch various Disney movies together while they comment on the film's highlights and/or most memorable moments. Throughout the first batch of reactions coming up as this story's first season, it will have two highlighted characters as prominent roles per session, while the rest of the characters still remain intact and will be reacting altogether throughout the story. Kotaro Tatsumi will have a supporting role, while Zombie Land Saga supporting character Maria Amabuki will guest star in a later episode where, since the seven girls will keep their secret from her when she's around, will participate in a watch party with them during one of their Disney movie reactions.

In honor of the second season (Revenge) of Zombie Land Saga that was released lately.

P.S.: I was going to have them use VHS tapes to watch the Disney movies that would be featured in this story, but I thought I'd do the Disney+ approach instead since I liked the streaming service alongside Netflix, Crunchyroll and Funimation.

P.S.S.: The COVID-19 pandemic that's been going on does not take place in this story (and in this story's universe).

Episode 1
A Little Mermaid With a Voice

SAGA PREFECTURE
10AM

It was a fine Friday in Saga, at the mansion residence of the (zombie) pop idol group known as Franchouchou.

After a slew of successful shows over the past several days, Franchouchou decided to take a break for the weekend before they could practice and prepare for future events arranged by their manager Kotaro Tatsumi, who is another inhabitant of the mansion residence and the one who organizes the idol group and had resurrected the seven legendary girls back from the dead.

Although the zombified girls came from different time periods (excluding a few of them), they shared a strong bond overtime through the many activities and events they took part in while disguised as normal idols to keep their zombie secret from the public eye. Those girls are Sakura Minamoto (from the late 2000's era), Saki Nikaido (from the late 90's, and also the leader of Franchouchou), Ai Mizuno (also from the late 2000's), Junko Konno (from the early 80's), Yugiri (from the late 1800's of the Meiji era), Lily Hoshikawa (from the early 2010's), and Tae Yamada (whose time period was unknown).

On that day, Sakura came back to the living room where her six Franchouchou friends were spending time in with some news.

"Hey, egghead.", Saki smiled, "What's up?"

Sakura said, "Girls, I have some good news!"

"What happened? Is there another show coming up?", Ai questions.

Yugiri presumed, "Seeing how we've done a slate of events throughout this week, are we going out somewhere today for fun?"

"Yeah! Like maybe a lunch out at Drive-In Tori?", suggested Lily.

Saki delightfully remarked, "I love the sound of that!"

"Uh, well actually... Kotaro told me he made a subscription for us as our reward for the hard work this week. Plus, we may have gained a bit more popularity than the last couple weeks ago.", said Sakura.

Junko confused, "A subscription?"

"To what? Newsprint or something?", sarcastically guessed Saki.

Sakura said, "Well... Apparently Kotaro set up a free trial for a streaming service. It's something called... Disney+?"

"Disney+?", Yugiri asked, "What's that?"

Ai figured out, "I believe it's a streaming service for Disney content, in which people are calling it as good as Netflix nowadays."

"Netflix? Heard about that before since there's been a lot of great films that came out exclusively for it most recently.", recalls Yugiri.

Saki thought, "So what? Disney+ is the same as Netflix? Well, how long is the free trial for?"

"He started a free trial for one month, and I think he also paid for one extra month. From what I heard, the price for Disney+ is a bit lower than Netflix's price.", Sakura tells the six girls.

The blonde rebel smirked, "Well, well. Seems like a good deal...but I hope the content on the service is worth it. I already seen about half of those Disney flicks when I was alive!"

"Seen some of them when I was alive too.", Junko thought, "For all I know, that the last Disney film that released in theaters back in the day before I died was The Fox and the Hound."

Saki unveiled, "Really? Because the last Disney film that came out, in which I saw in the theater with my Dorami gang almost a month before I died, was Hercules."

"I remember hearing that Bolt came out in the US the year I died.", Ai acknowledged.

Sakura agreed, "Same."

"And I even saw the new Winnie the Pooh film back then with my daddy one month before my 12th birthday and almost three months before I died...", Lily said, before tears start to well up her eyes, "It made me cry... It was the last Disney film I've seen...when I was alive..."

Yugiri calmed the blue-haired child star, "Oh... Poor Lily...", as she comforted her, "I'm sorry to hear that... Just be glad we're all still alive, despite the fact that we're undead. I'm sure more of those Disney films have released afterwards that we haven't seen yet. Although I may have died one month after my 19th birthday back in the 19th century way before these Disney movies were made, I'm sure we're gonna give them a go while we're at it."

"I suppose so... But thank you, big sis.", compassionately answered Lily to the light-brunette courtesan.

Tae curiously tilted her head with a moan.

Sakura then said, "Kotaro told me the email and password to put on the TV so that we can set Disney+ up."

"Well, there oughta be some good newer movies on there, because I've seen most of the originals before I died back then.", Saki said unenthusiastically.

Ai reasons, "Well, it doesn't hurt to do some rewatches every once in a while, but I digress, I did see some of the newer ones before I died the same year as Sakura, so..."

"See? That's my point. But I have to agree with the rewatch part.", reluctantly said Saki, "As a matter of fact, I love Disney. I know a few of the animated movies were quite the best like The Black Cauldron for example..."

The slate blue-black-haired girl agreed, "I honestly agree with you on that, since I seen it once when I was younger back then. That one was too dark."

"...I come to appreciate the legendary studio's work for the most part.", told the blonde former Dorami biker, "Even if some...", as she looks over to Sakura before blushing faintly but shakes the feeling off, "...Even if some of the movies are romantic..."

Sakura then said as Ai and Junko come over to help her set up Disney+, "Here goes. Let's hope there's plenty of time to watch some of these movies, since we have the whole weekend to ourselves."

"Yes, it is Friday after all...", Ai said, "Good thing this TV is compatible. Though it's not 4K, what we have is still good.", as soon as they help Sakura set the account up on Disney+.

As the app showed the home screen with many movies from the Disney library as well as its subsidary studios highlighted, the seven zombie girls were amazed.

Saki smiled, "Oh my! It looks great!"

"Wow! Look at the content!", Lily delighted.

Yugiri giggled, "Indeed, Lily. Looks like there's more than what we thought there would be after all."

"Hurrah! Our very own Disney+ account, thanks to Tatsumi!", Junko celebrated.

Ai demonstrated, "It looks like with an exclusive library to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and even 20th Century Fox, we can be able to watch any movie or TV show in the whole catalog!"

"20th Century Fox?!", exasperated Saki, "Wait... I thought Fox and Disney were on different terms back then. Like two different studios on their own!"

Sakura explained, "Yeah, Kotaro explained that to me. It was part of a new deal that Disney made, which resulted in the studio buying Fox for 71 billion dollars."

"71 billion?!", surprised the blonde rebel, "That much? The studio behind Die Hard, Alien, Predator, Home Alone, True Lies, and Speed...was bought out by The Walt Disney Company? That's...awesome! For sure, we'll get to see many of Fox's movies on this service!"

Ai nods, "Yes, of course. Such as the X-Men movies, the Ice Age series, and so on. The first six Star Wars episodes don't count since it's already bought out by Disney back in 2012 with 4 billion dollars."

"No way! The original Star Wars films are on here too?! I thought they were owned by Fox back then, and I haven't heard about the prequels since I died before they were even made! Pretty surprising that they're now already owned by Disney!", Saki shocked.

Sakura noticed, "Also count the sequel trilogy that recently came out, as well as the spinoffs, like The Mandalorian."

"There's originals?", Lily excites, while Tae looked confused by the Disney+ content so far.

The red-haired girl said, "Actually, yes. There's some at least."

"Well, what are we surfing the content for? Let's start off with a movie!", anticipated Saki.

Sakura arranged, "If we're gonna do that, I was thinking of suggesting on doing several of the classics before we get to the rest. There's plenty of time for us to watch many of the films though."

"The classics? As in?", Junko curiously said.

The redhead said, "Disney's classics, really. There's Snow White, Cinderella... I remember Kotaro mentioning Pinocchio to me one time too."

"Whatever, egghead.", joked Saki, "I suggest we see Star Wars first. Gotta watch them all, ya know?"

Lily thought, "Hey! What about Marvel? I've heard about Iron Man 1 and 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger when I was alive back then, but I never saw The Avengers!"

"Well, shrimpy, if we're all gonna watch one of them, I insist that we watch Star Wars."

"No, Marvel!"

"Star Wars!"

"Marvel!"

"STAR WARS!"

"MARVEL!"

Yugiri suddenly slapped the two of them like how she did it with Sakura, silencing the two, "I'm sorry about that, but there's no need to fight over choosing which one we should watch together."

"That's right. We shouldn't decide what to watch and what not to watch!", scolds Ai.

Saki and Lily both said, "Sorry."

"So, what were you thinking for the Disney classics we're gonna watch?", Junko asked.

Sakura hesistantly got an idea, "How about we do a random order of animated Disney films? That way, we can be able to watch Star Wars and Marvel after that slate. We're not doing the sequels, because from what I heard, the sequels weren't as good as the originals, except for Fantasia 2000, Ralph Breaks the Internet or Frozen II."

"Anyway, I don't have a problem with it. As long as we see Star Wars after that, we'll be cool.", Saki chilled out.

Lily happily states, "Marvel, even!"

"Which one are we watching first, out of all of them?", Ai said.

Sakura thought, "I was thinking about doing The Little Mermaid first, since I've seen it before when I was alive...and I loved it."

"Same here!", both Lily and Ai rose their hands.

Saki confirmed, "Me three. One go can't hurt, since we already know the story."

"For your information, me and Yugiri haven't seen it yet. Let's just give it a go!", Junko told.

Sakura sets the film up and said, "Okay! Let's play!", as she played the film while the seven sat together on the couch...

Act I
Underwater Splash Bash

The opening scene after Fathoms Below as the credits showed

"Wow...", Ai stunned, "I remember this like it was yesterday."

Junko interested, "Even the flourishing music seems to shine thus far."

"Yeah, yeah.", Saki sarcastically said, "I've seen it already, so I know what's going to happen."

Yugiri informed, "Please don't ruin the story for us. It's starting to get very good."

"From what I've heard, the songwriter for this film sadly died a few years after this film... It's so sad to see he got a producer credit in honor.", saddened Sakura.

Lily comforted, "Cheer up, Sakura. At least the film was amazing as it was back then.", happily.

Tae seemed to love the beautiful score the film had in the opening credits sequence, showing the mermaids all gathering at the Kingdom of Atlantica.

Sebastian the Crab arrives at Atlantica before the Daughters of Triton performed

Junko excited, "This ought to be good."

"Ah, the Daughters of Triton, yatta, yatta, yatta...", commented Saki, "Not spoiling."

Yugiri examined, "Let's see, there's Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Attina, Adella, Alana..."

"...and of course, Ariel.", the Dorami rebel said, spilling the beans.

The courtesan glared, "Saki."

"Hey, everyone knows her name already when it came out.", smirked Saki, just as they saw the empty clam where Ariel was supposed to be present, and King Triton yells Ariel's name in anger when discovering her abscence, "See? Plus, it was on the description already."

Yugiri changed her mind, "I see.", before the girls saw Ariel in the film where she and her fish friend Flounder was exploring a sunken ship to scavenge.

"I always thought Flounder was cute.", recalled Lily as Yugiri smiled at her.

Sakura agrees, "Me too. He was adorable.", giggling.

The interested Tae groans to this.

The shark chases Ariel and Flounder in the sunken ship

"Oh dear.", Ai gulped when they saw the two escape the ship with the shark chasing them right after Ariel found a fork with bent tines as a collectible.

Lily panicked, "C'mon, Ariel! Get out of there!", before seeing the two trap the shark as it gets stuck through the hole of an anchor.

"They did it.", relieved Sakura, the seven seeing Flounder blow a raspberry at the shark just as it chomps its jaws thus scaring him up to the surface with Ariel, "Too close for comfort..."

Tae, in turn, snarled at the screen after seeing said part in the film with the shark.

Junko nervously said, "Tae, calm down!"

"She really likes Flounder, doesn't she?", Yugiri guessed as Tae grunted in acceptance.

Scuttle meets up with Ariel and Flounder on the surface, calling the fork with bent tines they found a dinglehopper

Saki asked, "A dingle...what now?"

"Scuttle is even demonstrating the fork as a hair comb!", Junko said, "That isn't how forks are supposed to be."

Yugiri thought, "Or maybe Scuttle sees it as a kanzashi, like hair ornaments."

"I'd like one of those.", Lily rose her hand.

Sakura smiled and nodded, "Do we all?"

"He also demonstrated a pipe as a spoon too.", confused Ai, "I mean, really?"

Saki annoyed, "Are they misinterpreting many objects as everyday utensils?"

Tae moaned in question.

Ursula's villainous introduction

"And here comes the baddie.", the blonde former gang biker signals as they saw Ursula for the first time in the film.

Sakura informed, "Well, she is one of the best Disney villains ever created."

"Very hilarious and intimidating too, if you ask me.", Lily says.

Junko answered, "Looks like it. Yet, Disney villains are a sign for trouble..."

Ariel's hidden grotto

"Hmm... Keen-looking grotto they got there.", interested Sakura.

Saki says, "At least she's not hoarding too much."

"A collection of trinkets and whatnots...", understood Yugiri, "I wonder how long she had gathered stuff in her grotto for."

Lily imagined, "I can only imagine."

"There seems to be things very useful in her collection.", Ai ponders.

Part of Your World

Sakura said, "Oh, how I love this song.", blissfully listening to said song in the following part where Ariel sings this as her desires to explore the surface.

"Let's hear it.", Saki pridefully said, enjoying the song, "I gotta say for once, the Disney songs were pretty incredible back in the day."

Lily teared up, "It's making me cry..."

"I know, Lily. The melody was perfect.", Yugiri calmed, "The animation style too... It looked amazing, to be honest."

Tae couldn't help but try singing the song's climax, "Waaaawrgh grah traaah! Waargh ihww laaaa! Aaaaaaarrrrrrrhhhhhhh! Rrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

"Can somebody shut her up?!", irritated Saki as she, Sakura and the other four zombie girls covered their ears.

Suddenly, Tae stopped as the said part of the song stopped as the musical number came to a close.

The Dorami rebel relieves, "That's better."

"I didn't expect Tae would like this song.", Ai surprised.

Tae curiously moans, "Uh?"

"Let's hope that doesn't happen anytime soon.", doubted Junko.

Sakura said, "Give the music credit. That song was masterful."

Ariel goes to the surface and sees a ship, with fireworks blasting in the sky

"Look! A pirate ship!", Lily adventurously says.

Yugiri said, "I've never seen pirate ships myself when I was alive back then, but it doesn't seem to look like a pirate ship."

"Looks more like those royal Victorian ships from history.", Ai thought.

Junko agreed, "Like so."

"Whatever that is, that's sure something! We don't ask questions, we just have fun!", Sakura simplistically told.

Ariel sees Eric

Saki figuratively says, "That must be the princely love interest, isn't it?"

"And it looks like he has the Shaggy Dog as a pet!", giggled Lily.

Sakura tells her friends, "It seems like these kind of romantic love interests as princes are mostly swoonworthy."

"And since it looks like it was his birthday, they gave him a statue monument in his honor.", Ai collectively recaps.

Junko pondered again, "I wonder what he did to earn his own statue? Guess we'll never know."

Tae nevertheless watched this scene whilst the other six were talking, all the while curious.

The hurricane

"A hurricane?!", gasped Lily as she embraced Yugiri in fright.

Sakura said, scared; "Why at a time like this? They were only celebrating!"

"Bad luck is onto them!", Saki presumed.

Ai was frightened by the lightning in the film during the storm scene, reminding her of her death, since she was struck by lightning back when she was alive.

The slate black-blue-haired girl simply said, "My worst fear has been realized."

"Yeah, it scares me too.", mentions Junko of the perilous storm scene.

Soon after as Eric helps evacuate the crew, his dog and his butler Grimsly, his foot gets caught in the ship's floorboard as the ship suddenly explodes due to the fire from the lightning igniting the ship's gunpowder supply!

"Nooo! Eriiiiic!", Ai, Junko, Lily and Yugiri said in agony.

Tae frowned by this.

Saki ensured, "Relax, girls. He's okay.", although the explosion may have reminded her of her death as well, while Ariel in the film rescues the unconscious Eric from dying in the sea.

"Glad he's alright, but the gunpowder explosion though...", Sakura worried, "I think he'll survive."

Ariel sings to Eric on the beach as he wakes up

Lily smiled thankfully, "He's alive..."

"Even the song...and the way it was set up...", relaxingly said Yugiri.

Junko says, "One thing that bothered me is that how come Eric's clothes are tattered and his boots are gone? Probably either because of the water or the explosion?"

"Can't tell, maybe the water must've had something to do with it.", Ai replies.

Sakura said, "More importantly, this scene was visually stunning. Hilarious on Sebastian's part for this scene."

Tae couldn't help but hum and moan the reprising melody that Ariel was singing during this.

And when Ariel was forced to go when Eric's pet dog and his devoted butler Grimsly come to find him alone on the shore afterwards, she watches the two leave as she sang the reprise of Part of Your World.

It thus caused Tae to try singing the last part of the song again, "Raaaaaargh Grrrrraaaaaaaaghhh!"

"Stop singing!", yelled Saki to Tae, silencing her once again after she and the other five covered their ears once again, "Thank you."

Sakura hoped, "I hope that's the last time he sings it, because I hope we don't cause a noise complaint because of it. But it looks like we're far from the neighborhoods here in Saga, so we should be fine."

Ursula's next scene before revealing the polyps

"Oh my goodness.", the redhead said as they watched this part.

Saki asked, "What are those?"

"They look like polyps.", Junko thought.

Ai said, "They don't seem to look like polyps to me!"

"I'm scared!", Lily said as she hugged Yugiri again, her heart beating, "They look mummified!"

Yugiri says, "I know. Wouldn't like the sound of being turned into one at all."

Under the Sea

"Oh my gosh, I love this song!", Sakura and Lily jinxed.

Ai told, "As a matter of fact, this song, as well as another that will come on later in the film, has won an Academy Award, as well as for the original score."

"That sounds like a prestigious honor to me.", Junko thought.

Saki enjoyed the song, "Not bad for a Oscar-winning song."

"It also sounds tropical.", said Yugiri.

Tae, on the other hand, tries to sing, "Grragh ragh raaa...", to the song.

"If you dare sing like that one more time during the film...", the former biker girl said to the black-haired zombie girl.

Sakura eased, "Relax, I think she was enjoying the songs in the film. She did try singing Part of Your World from the movie, so I guess that would be enough? I think we made our point."

"Thanks, egghead.", smiled Saki.

Sebastian spills the beans about Ariel to Triton

"Are you kidding?", Sakura nervously said.

Ai and Junko both glared at the film, "Now Sebastian's done it."

"Thanks for revealing the truth.", sarcastically said Saki.

Lily shook, "Now he knows!"

"At some point, we have to reveal our secrets. But this has gone too far!", Yugiri said.

The destruction of the Grotto

When the movie showed Ariel returning to the grotto to see Eric's statue ending up there, Junko asked, "How did that statue end up there?"

"It doesn't seem to fit...and it doesn't look like it could crash through the top of the grotto either.", Ai theorizes, "Plus, Flounder doesn't seem to have moved that statue underwater all the way to there. Probably he got some help."

Sakura and the others then watched as Triton confronts Ariel in her grotto as he was angry at her for falling in love with a human and saving his life, "He doesn't look happy about it!", just when Triton suddenly starts destroying her belongings in her grotto, "OH, NO!"

"Not her collectibles! She spent a long time scavenging for those!", Lily screamed.

Yugiri said, "This is why discipline like this is unacceptable.", before the seven saw Triton destroy the statue of Eric as they look in horror.

"Way to go, Triton. Now you've crushed her dreams real hard.", berated Saki as they saw Triton leave in regret, while Tae was crying softly during this part.

Sakura saddened, "Not entirely. But what he did there was...sort of cruel. Imagine if our hard-earned collections were destroyed, how would we like that?"

"Very devestating...", Ai and Junko mourned.

Ariel goes to Ursula's lair

"I don't trust those eels.", Saki shook her head as they saw Ariel go with Ursula's pet eels Flotsam and Jetsam to the sea witch's lair, "Very manipulative!"

Sakura said, "Well, Ursula is a villain, so..."

"Her lair though. It's a leviathan skeleton!", Junko unsettled.

Lily shuddered, "So creepy!"

"Indeed it is...", Yugiri reacted.

Ai said, "She's walking into a trap...", nervously saying as they watch Ariel enter and saw the numerous polyps alongside the creepy musical score in this scene, "This does not look optimal."

Tae looked shocked at first by this.

Poor Unfortunate Souls/Ursula takes Ariel's voice

"Villain songs.", scoffed Sakura, "Why do they have to sound so unsettling?"

Ai responds, "Well, give the movie some credit. The music was lustrous thus far. In fact, although this song is a bit wicked for some, it sounds beautiful."

"Yeah, I'd give it that.", says Saki, "But if a sea witch like her tries to trick us into getting what she wants, we'd say no! Bring it on!"

Sakura calmed her, "It's only a movie."

"That sea witch scares me!", Lily commented, "But the song is pretty lovely..."

Yugiri comfortably confided the blue-haired child star, "I'm glad to say the same here."

"I forgot to mention how good the music and animation was for this film. It was a remarkable achivement for the studio who worked on this.", Junko gives her opinion.

But as the part when Ursula tells Ariel she can turn her into a human for three days to fall in love with Eric or else she'll turn back into a mermaid and Ursula would keep her, the girls were shocked.

"I knew it! I knew this was a trap!", Saki angered.

Sakura bedazzled, "Shouldn't she consult Triton for this?"

"Well, it's inconclusive of what he did to her grotto, so...", Ai brought up.

The redhead says, "Well, she rather go to Triton instead of trusting Ursula!"

"Sea witches are terrifying! And that's saying something since I've seen it before when I was alive!", Lily told.

Yugiri imagined, "Well, Ariel consulting Triton would've been a better idea, but I think the other way around still upholds an emotional leeway."

"You think?", Junko said.

Tae moaned in confusion.

Just then, they discover that Ursula needs Ariel's voice in exchange for her becoming a human.

Junko surprised, "What?!"

"She wants her voice?!", Yugiri shocked.

Saki groans, "You gotta be frickin' kidding me!"

"Why does she want her voice?", scared Lily.

Sakura uneased, "This is really a bad idea. Ariel's voice is too harmonious to be ridden of!"

"One person once said, actions speak louder than words. Pretty awful to imagine being mute for the rest of your life...", Ai doubted.

The white-haired girl supported, "It's like going deaf or blind...it sounds scary."

The remainder of the Poor Unfortunate Souls song was heard and they see Ursula extract Ariel's voice in which she then transforms into a human, who struggles since she could no longer breathe underwater.

"Save her! She's drowning!", Lily perilously panicked before they saw Sebastian and Flounder help her swim up to the surface.

Saki said, "I'm telling you, that sea witch has gone cuckoo. Her eyes earlier though."

"She made it!", Yugiri happily states as they saw Ariel reach the surface in one of the film's most iconic shots.

Sakura confesses, "That shot was one of the best in Disney history. Still sad that Ariel sacrificed her voice though."

"Isn't it? Truly remarkable.", Ai agreed with her.

Junko gladly said, "She has to reach land now...let's hope she'll fall in love by the end to make her deadline..."

Act II
The Fantastic Surface

Ariel makes it to land, also discovering her legs for the first time

"She now has...feet.", Sakura said as they saw Ariel lift her new legs and looked at her foot for the first time.

Saki pointed out, "Yeah, but she's mute!"

"Scuttle's back!", noticed Lily, "I wonder where he was after all this time."

Yugiri pondered, "No idea, but at least he's back."

As they listen to Sebastian ranting about Ariel getting legs and plans to tell Triton what happened before deciding to help her fall in love with Eric, and then watch Ariel meet Eric once again in which he recognizes her, the girls were enjoying the film still.

Tae moaned in curiosity, reenacting what Ariel did in this scene.

"Wow, he recognizes her! That's a sign!", Sakura delighted.

Ai told, "But it's still a long road ahead."

"Plus, since she's mute at the moment, wouldn't she able to use sign language to communicate?", Junko suggests.

Sakura tells her, "I don't think she understands sign language or if they haven't established it yet...", before they saw Ariel go with Eric to his kingdom where she gets cleaned up and prepares for dinner with Eric.

Le Poissons

"What in the world...?", Junko gasped as they saw Sebastian watch in horror as the chef prepares dinner, chopping fish heads off and pulling out their bones.

Yugiri said, "I know chefs help make delicacies and all, but we don't want to see Sebastian get turned into crab meat!"

"I hope he doesn't cook him!", frightened Lily when the film showed the chef discovering him and tries to put him in the boiling pot of water where he was cooking the food.

Ai then reacts when Sebastian ensues antics when escaping from the chef, "Get out of there!"

"I know it's hilarious in the moment, but that was really perilous.", Sakura said after they saw Sebastian finally escape after the kingdom's maid finds the chef who had made a mess in the kitchen trying to kill the crab.

Saki says, "At least they finally got some din- Oh my gosh!", as they saw the dinner arrive as Grimsly's dinner plate had Sebastian hiding under it before hiding under Ariel's for safety.

"That was a close one. At least she hid from that crazy chef.", the redhead relieved.

Ai adds, "Sadly, Grimsly's dinner doesn't look big tonight..."

Tae groaned.

Ariel and Eric's first date

"Oh, boy!", Lily said, "Carriages must be fun to ride on!"

"Trust me, back when I was alive, we used transportation like that in the Meiji era.", Yugiri told.

Junko told, "In fact, carriages and horseback were the only transportation used back then besides walking."

"Yeah, before automobiles, cars, motorcycles, bikes, roller skates and skateboards became a thing!", Saki says.

Ai nods, "Well, transportation did change over the decades..."

"Still looks romantic to see Ariel and Eric have their first date.", Sakura proved as the seven happily saw the romantic chemistry between the two during this part.

But it didn't stop there.

When the two arrived at the coastal town, Ariel and Eric spent time around and even danced together at the town square.

"They look more dazzling than ever!", Junko said.

Ai smiled in agreement, "That is because they're getting chemistry at last!"

"Romance is in the air.", Saki flirted.

Yugiri commented, "Charming. As if the dance was enough."

"I think they outdid themselves already.", Junko said.

Lily hoped, "Just kiss already!"

Tae on the other hand grunts in response, still entertained by the movie.

Kiss the Girl

"Is it us, or is it getting hot in here?", Sakura said as they were watching the next musical sequence in the film as they saw Ariel and Eric on a rowboat during that night.

Saki pumped her fist, "Hell yeah! Let's get it on!"

"Now for sure they're gotta kiss!", Junko hoped.

Ai told, "In case you're wondering, this song was the other one that was nominated at the Oscars. This and Under the Sea, which won.", as the song Kiss the Girl was played in this scene.

"So romantic! I'm sad that Part of Your World wasn't chosen though.", Sakura kept in mind.

Saki said, "Hopefully Tae isn't gonna scream during the songs for the rest of the film though..."

"Now that we think about this song, the music is quite magical.", Yugiri admitted.

Lily agreed, "Quite so too!"

When Scuttle during the song was squawking as he tries to sing, Tae tried to join in whilst seeing the film by squawking her traditional chicken sound like she did when the girls were advertising Drive-In Tori back then.

"That's what Tae was doing!", Junko figured it out.

Saki smirked, "Now you're talking."

"Well, Scuttle is funny...", Sakura said.

But as the girls anticipate Ariel and Eric's first kiss, the moment is suddenly ruined as the boat they're on was capsized, making them splash onto the water.

"Oh, come on!", Lily, Yugiri and Saki says.

Sakura, Ai and Junko surprised, "You gotta be joking! Who did that?!", before they saw Flotsam and Jetsam being the ones responsible for ruining the scene, "Seriously?"

Ursula's transformation into Vanessa

"This can't be good.", gulped Lily.

Yugiri says, "She's transforming into a human?"

"Worse... She's also using her voice as a copy of Ariel, but sort of a lookalike...", Saki told.

Junko asked, "How did you know?"

"Obvious. She took her voice, remember?", shrugged the Dorami rebel.

Ai said, "I hope she doesn't make Eric cheat on Ariel."

"Same. I hate manipulations like this...like a wolf in sheep's clothing.", doubted Sakura.

Eric is brainwashed/Ariel sees Vanessa (Ursula in disguise) with Eric now planning to get married

Lily says after seeing this, "No..."

"It can't be...", Yugiri gasped.

Saki slapped her forehead, "Now that sea witch got the man?!"

"OOOH, we're dying! Is she really going this far for getting Ariel to the end of her deadline?", Sakura said.

Ai said, "What has been said about everything being fair in love and war... This is really changing the rules for a bit!"

"How is she gonna get Eric now?", Junko tensed.

Tae, in the meantime, was still dumbfounded by the revelation.

Scuttle discovers Vanessa as Ursula

"You were saying?", Saki asked.

Sakura thought, "A wolf in sheep's clothing. Seems literal at this point since it's an idiom."

"From what I heard, the voice actress of Ariel also did Vanessa's voice. Coincidence that Ursula is using Ariel's voice, so...", Ai told the girls.

Junko nods, "We figured."

"Still, Ariel needs to stop Ursula's evil plan...", Yugiri said.

Lily agrees, "The sea witch must be stopped!"

The wedding battle/Ariel's voice returns

As the seven zombie girls saw Scuttle rally the animals both air and sea to fight Vanessa, they cheered as they saw moments including the sea creatures teaming up to foil Vanessa, the sea lion tossing her onto the wedding cake, Max biting her to help Scuttle, and to cap it off, Ariel's voice was now given back to its rightful owner once its container was shattered. Even Tae watching this part was laughing.

"YEAH!", Saki and Lily yelled in happiness.

Ai and Junko celebrate, "They did it! Ariel's voice is back!"

"Now all they need to do is kiss and the deal is set!", Sakura and Yugiri said, before they saw the sun setting just as Ariel was about to kiss Eric, turning her back into a mermaid as the former watching the film proclaimed, "Toodlepip!"

As Ursula gloats at Ariel that she was too late, Saki angrily said, "Why, I oughta!"

"They're doomed!", Lily said as they saw Ursula take Ariel from Eric.

Yugiri hoped, "Eric's gotta go get his girl!"

"We hope so! Or else there's a fate worse than death awaiting!", Ai and Junko doubtingly remarked.

Act III
The Wrath of the Sea Witch

Triton confronts Ursula

Saki smiled faintly, "Well. Guess Triton does have a change of heart, doesn't he?"

"The contract...!", says Yugiri in shock as they saw Triton try to destroy Ursula's contract but is rendered indestructible, "What!?"

Junko also says, "No! Ariel!", when the contract envelopes around the red-haired mermaid in the film as she starts transforming.

"She can't be doing this!", Ai feared, "The pity of it all..."

Lily closed her eyes shut and embraced Yugiri as they saw Ariel slowly transforming into a polyp during this intense scene, "I can't watch!"

"A life...for a life... But...", said Sakura, her heart racing as they saw Triton replace Ariel's name on the contract with his in exchange to save her life, "NO!"

Saki shouted, "Ursula made Triton sacrifice himself for Triton!", before seeing Triton get transformed into a polyp by Ursula.

"Oh, the irony!", agonized Junko, "Eric needs to come any minute now!", while Ursula in the film takes his crown and trident afterwards.

Fighting Ursula underwater

Lily said as her inflated heart from her chest beated more intensely when seeing Eric use a harpoon to hit Ursula's arm, "Come on, Ariel! Beat her!"

"C'mon, guys! Help Eric!", Saki said, witnessing Flotsam and Jetsam attempting to drown Eric but Sebastian and Flounder help free him.

Yugiri hurried, "Watch out!", as the seven saw Ursula about to kill Eric with Triton's trident, but Ariel distracts her and makes her kill Flotsam and Jetsam instead.

"YEAH! Goodbye, eels!", Junko chuckled.

Ai warned as they saw the angered Ursula said, "Now she's about to unleash her wrath..."

"Why is she...inking?", Sakura uneased, "Is that how octopuses..."

Ursula turns gigantic

Sakura chuckled nervously, "This promises to be...dangerous... Okay, guys! Start pounding!"

"Now that's REALLY big!", Saki reacted.

Ai told, "The bigger they are, the harder they fall!"

"How will they defeat Ursula now?", Junko said.

Yugiri said, "If only there was a pirate ship they could use...", moments before they saw Ursula make a whirlpool and caused a sunken ship to be risen to the surface.

"Maybe Eric will do it!", Lily said, "We're counting on him!"

Tae drooled in anxiety to the climax thus far.

Eric kills Ursula with a pirate ship

As the seven zombie girls watch Eric use one of the risen ships to impale and defeat Ursula, Saki yelled, "YES! That'll teach her!"

"Well, that's that.", Sakura replied.

"Pretty gruesome if you ask me...", Yugiri appalled before the girls saw Ursula get struck by lightning before dying, "Also dark..."

Ai gasped, "That's gonna leave a mark."

"Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom.", Junko wondered.

Lily said, "I recognize that Looney Tunes reference."

"Same here.", Sakura and Ai both answered back.

After the battle/Triton allows Ariel to be with Eric

"YAY! Triton and the others are back to normal! They're free!", happily said Sakura.

Saki blushed, "I can say the same."

"Eric...", worries Lily as they saw Ariel overlook the unconscious Eric on the shore after the final battle.

The blonde girl groaned, "Again with the unconscious on the shore moment. At least Ursula is defeated, I can give that."

"Well, the movie is almost over, so...", Ai justified.

Junko said, "So it's now safe to assume Triton can allow Ariel to be with Eric, right?"

"Seems like it. He came to Ariel's safety and he sacrificed himself for her. Guess the time is now.", Yugiri thought.

When they saw Ariel looking down and smiling as she saw something glowing, and as she walks to the shore to meet Eric once he awakens, he sees her with a glittering dress and her human legs once again granted by Triton, along with her voice.

"You done good, Triton. You done good.", Saki proudly said to the film.

Sakura cheered, "Ariel has a dress...and her legs are back!"

"Now they can be together forever!", Lily laughed cheeringly.

Junko said, "All's well that ends well."

"As all things should be.", Ai said in unity.

The girls laughed when they saw Sebastian outsmart the chef from earlier during the final scene.

"What's weird is that Ariel doesn't speak after the final battle in this film.", thought Saki, "Did anyone notice that?"

Sakura said, "Well, yeah. It was in Sleeping Beauty too, as well as a few other animated movies back in the day."

"That one, I'd like to see next after this if you don't mind.", the Dorami rebel said.

The redhead answers, "For sure!"

"And they lived happily ever after.", Yugiri concluded as the film ended.

Sakura shared her thoughts, "It was magical!"

"Seen it already, but...it's still good. The cliches though, but I won't mind.", Saki gave her opinion.

Lily said, "I enjoyed it! Deserves my approval!"

"I have to say the film was so impressive. I can't believe how stories like this are adapted so ingeniously.", Yugiri said, "Really stands the test of time."

Ai told, "It was still one of the best Disney flicks in my opinion."

"I think it was a marvelous achievement. Since I haven't seen it before, it was remarkable. The characters, the music, the animation... I loved it.", Junko fondingly told.

Sakura told, "Glad to see everyone loved it."

"Yeah, and now there's more where that came from, because we're gonna see a selection of Disney movies from the past! Next up... Sleeping Beauty.", Saki anticipates as the other six were happy to hear this.
