This is my second submission for the RokuNami fanzine. Again, I don't find this fanfiction very special but as long as the RokuNami fam enjoys it...I hope you readers enjoy it. c:

"Namine!" Roxas cried desperately.

"Roxas!" Namine cried back.

The two lovers reached out for each other's hand. Their hands touched briefly before they slipped from each other, and the darkness dragged them away from each other.

The darkness felt endless until they were transported to a new world.

Axel held on to the unconscious Roxas, and Xion held on to the unconscious Namine.

Namine slowly opened her eyes at her friend's gentle touch and frantically tried to make sense of what happened.

The world around her was different. There was grass and trees, but the sky was dark and filled with stars.

"Axel! Roxas!" Namine cried out, hoping they could hear her or if they were even around.

"Namine, calm down!" Xion cried.

"Where are they?!" Namine cried. "Where are we?!"

Xion placed her gloved hands on Namine's shoulders.

"Sadly, I don't know," Xion said. "But we need to keep going."

Roxas woke up in Axel's arms crying out Namine and Xion's names.

"Roxas, are you ok?" Axel cried. He sat Roxas up.

"Are Namine and Xion ok?" Roxas asked. Desperate for his girlfriend and the girl he loved as a sister.

"Roxas," Axel said. "We got separated."

A sense of alarm went through Roxas as he sprung up and armed himself with his keyblade.

"We need to find them!" Roxas cried.

Axel grabbed his best friend by the arm to prevent Roxas from doing something reckless again.

"We will, Roxas!" Axel assured him. "We just have to keep going.

Xion and Namine walked under the stars with their keyblades in hand, searching every inch for danger.

The night seemed forever, wherever they were.

Soon Xion picked up the pace, but she turned around, thinking Namine was tired. The blonde-haired girl did seem tired not only from walking aimlessly but also wondering where Roxas and Axel were.

She pulled out the yellow star charm she kept with her. A good luck charm inspired by the saying "written in the stars." Stars that Xion, Axel, and Roxas also had.

Xion was about to ask Namine if she was ok, but then she pulled out her own star charm.

Axel had to calm Roxas' frustration and told the blonde-haired boy to clear his head before he did something reckless again.

Roxas sighed in defeat and exhaustion and pulled out the star charm from under his cloak.

"I see, Namine's charm," Axel said.

Axel pulled out his own charm. "Maybe these charms do have magical properties," Axel said.

Roxas clutched the charm in his hand. "I know there is something special about you stupid charm! Just lead us to Namine and Xion!" He cried.

Xion cradled her star charm in her hand. "If there was any time we need a sign, it's now."

Namine held the charm in her hands, closed her eyes, and prayed.

"Please, lucky star, please guide us to Roxas and Axel," Namine said.

She prayed in silence as hard as she could, trying to wield the magic of the star charm.

Xion stood in silence, taking a breather and waiting around for anything.

Then after what seemed like an eternity, Xion noticed a shooting star in the sky.

"Namine!" Xion cried.

Namine opened her eyes to see Xion looking surprised. The blonde-haired girl looked above her and saw shooting stars heading north.

"The stars," Namine said. "They are guiding us."

"Huh?" Xion cried.

Namine said no more and ran in the direction of the stars, as fast as she could go, with Xion following behind her.

Axel was dumbfounded.

"I don't remember there being a meteor shower in the weather forecast," Axel said.

The stars lit up the indigo blue sky south of them.

"The stars will guide us to Namine and Xion," Roxas said.

"Huh?" Axel said.

Roxas ran as fast as he could.

Axel reached out. "Roxas, slow down!" Then Axel sighed. "He is hopeless!"

Axel ran after Roxas under the shooting stars.

Roxas and Namine weren't one hundred percent sure, but they were stuck in a strange dark world walking aimlessly for hours, and they felt they could at least trust the stars.

Namine kept running until she stopped to see a field of blue night blossoms swaying in the night breeze. Roxas was her first priority, but the flower field was so radiant that she had to stop for a moment. Xion stopped to breathe as well.

"Are Roxas and Axel here?" Xion said.

The stars above them became more energetic, lighting up the sky in hundreds of streaks. The two girls walked closer to the blue flowers. The scent of the flowers calmed them.

Roxas was running out of breath from sprinting, but he was determined to follow the shooting stars. He nearly fell over when he saw the field of night blossoms. It was a sight that caught him off guard. The most astonishing thing he saw since he was transported to this strange world.

Axel finally caught up with the blonde-haired boy.

"I regret not working out this morning!" Axel cried, then he spotted the flower field.

"Whoa!" Axel said.

Roxas slowly approached the beautiful flowers, and Axel looked pleased. The red-haired man knelt down for a closer look.

"This isn't a time to stop and smell the flowers," Roxas said.

"But we may be on to something," Axel said as he gently placed a hand under a flower.

While Axel was looking at the flowers, Roxas looked above him and saw the stars flying in all directions above him. They were beautiful, but it was all so confusing.

Roxas walked through the field, careful not to ruin any flowers, but he felt his heart sink. He pulled out his star charm again.

"Namine, where are you?"

Namine walked through the flower field, making sure not to squash any of the flowers.

Of all the worlds Namine and her friends traveled to, this place was unique. The radiant blue flowers and shooting stars above her felt like a different plane of existence.

She pulled out her star charm and was determined to keep going.

"Please take me to Roxas," Namine said.

Of course, talking to simple Star Charms seemed moot. But as they kept walking, the two of them felt they were hallucinating and dreaming when their eyes met each other, and they sensed each other's presence.

Namine was breathless at first. She held up her star charm and smiled as tears started streaming out of her eyes.

"Roxas?"

Roxas took a moment to process everything as he saw Namine standing in the night blossoms and under the starlit sky.

"Namine!"

Suddenly Roxas realized he wasn't dreaming, and he held up his star charm with a smile.

Seeing Roxas smiling again overjoyed Namine, and she rushed toward him. Roxas also ran toward her, and the two of them embraced, with Roxas twirling Namine in the air and Namine resting her chin on his shoulder as Roxas set her down on her feet.

"Oh, Roxas, I was afraid I lost you!" Namine cried.

Roxas held her tighter.

"I wouldn't have stopped until I found you, Namine," Roxas said softly.

Namine pulled away and smiled at Roxas. "Me neither."

And the two of them kissed again. It was a kiss that felt much sweeter after worrying about each other. While lovers kissed, their hands were laced together, and it felt like the world around the couple stopped as they felt the comfort of their lover's touch.

"Roxas!" Axel cried.

The red-haired man was dumbfounded to see Roxas and Namine having a moment.

"Namine!' Xion cried.

The black-haired girl was both speechless and relieved to see Namine with Roxas again.

This started to seem like a weird dream for both of them.

The two of them broke their kiss with a gasp. Namine saw Axel far behind Roxas, looking more exasperated than relieved.

Roxas also saw Xion behind Namine, looking a bit shocked.

"Roxas! Show respect for these flowers!" Axel cried.

"Also, thank goodness Namine is safe!" Axel threw his hands up.

"Namine! Roxas!" Xion cried and shook her head. "You hurt the flowers!"

Axel and Xion walked up, picking up any ruined flowers. Roxas and Namine felt guilty now.

"Sorry," Roxas and Namine said in unison.

Axel shrugged. "Well, I guess what matters is all of us are safe and back together.

"The flowers aren't safe, though!" Xion cried. "Let's leave them alone!"

Roxas and Namine mutually agreed.

When they got out of the flower field, Namine and Xion both hugged Axel, and Axel held them close. But Axel also pulled Roxas into the hug and stroked his spikey blonde hair.

When the hug was over, Roxas took Namine's hand, and he wasn't planning on letting go this time.

Namine took out her star charm for a moment. "I guess this proves that no matter how far we are, we are always connected."

The four friends held their Star Charms in silence for a moment. The stars above them still lit up the night sky, and soon the four of them smiled at each other until they started laughing.

"I have no doubt about that," Axel said. "But mostly because you kids are a handful, and I am just stuck with all of you."

"But I always enjoy our time together," Xion. "I feel like I belong somewhere when I am with all of you."

Roxas and Namine smiled at their friends, and they felt everything was normal again. Where they were the best of friends, and they could laugh again.

Roxas and Namine walked together hand and hand, ready to leave the meadow and find their way out of this dark world. But they turned back to see Axel and Xion pressing some blue night blossoms into their books before running back to them.

Roxas was still scared, though, as being separated from his beloved was the scariest thing in all the worlds to him.

But Namine kept her Star charm as a reminder, and Roxas did too. Their Star Charms were a reminder that they were connected, like stars in a constellation.

Yeah I admit I enjoyed writing Axel as the comic relief. And proof that even though I am biased toward RokuNami I still love Xion...She is my baby girl I just see Roxion as platonic/like brother and sister. But we are all free to disagree. Thank you for reading.

This is Lady Emiko signing out.
