Sefirin Kizi - The Ambassador's Daughter - Mavi meets Nare
The 52 episodes of Sefirin Kizi can be classified in two parts the The first 37 episodes would be Nare, the last 15 episodes are Mavi. The finale had a 1 year time jump in that the new family of Sancar, Mavi , Melek and baby Mehmet would do a cruise and go see Nare.
Guven Celebi - The Ambassador who has been trying to make amends with his daughter ever since she disappeared in Episode 36 , got word from her that she would like to see Melek. Guven who has a terminal tumor in his brain is trying to ask for forgiveness for all of his sins from his past and agreed to ask Sancar this special request.
Episode 52 has the following conservation between Sencar and Mavi
Sancar: Guven has been trying to get through to his daughter….. he finally has ….. she has been receiving treatments for over a year for post traumatic disorder
Mavi: Disorder

Sancar hugs his best friend and brother and he too gets on the ramp and heads to the deck as his family heads away to their journey to see Nare and places that Mavi wants to show her new family
Kavruk says a prayer wishing that they remain safe and return the same way.
Once on broad Captain Omer introduces his crew of Mert, Arda and Pelin that will take care of all the families needs while on the yacht.
Pelin: Mrs Efeoglu let me show you to your quarters … by the way I'm very good with infants whenever you need a break
Mavi: please call me Mavi, my husband is Sancar our daughter is Melek and this is Mehmet…. I appreciate that

Mavi feeds and changes Mehmet and places him into his crib for his scheduled nap. Sancar has been talking to the captain to understand the course he has set through the Aegean Sea and which scheduled stops they can anticipate.
Melek stays with Mehmet and reads him bedtime stories, while Mavi heads to her husband's side where she gives him a hug and a kiss
Mavi: Thank you for doing this…. You've thought of everything….. Pelin seems very nice and will be a great help with Mehmet….. giving us some timer each other….. Melek is so cute she is reading bedtime stories already.

Mavi: Who is this Ambassador's daughter?…. Start from the beginning
Sancar: Nare Celebi daughter to Guven Celebi was born in Iceland, I don't know much of her mother since Guven kept Nare away from her mother, which may be the cause of many the problems she has encountered. Being the Ambassador's Daughter, they traveled to many countries and Nare learned to speak eight languages because of Guven's sense of respectability and status.
Mavi: Eight languages…. She is no dummy
Sancar: Nare is very smart… but little crazy …. Anyway we met when we were teenagers on one of her holiday vacations. I don't know if it was love at first sight but we had an attraction for each other. Over the years I often wondered if that attraction was because I was the son of a sharecropper that worked the olive groves and this would greatly upset Guven who to this day still considered me that. I was not worthy of his daughter and under no circumstances was I good enough for her.
Mavi: How did this epic love story come about
Sancar: each holiday she would come back to Bodrum and we would resume where we left off until which time we agreed that we would get married when we where old enough. Everyone in Bodrum knew of our love for each other and then on Nare's 18th birthday she made arrangements to fly to Bodrum so we could get married.
Mavi: What happened that made her leave you so quickly
Sancar: you've seen how I can get angry and don't think before I act. That night when we consummated the marriage, I realized she wasn't a virgin and I immediately accused her of cheating on me. When she explained to me that Akin a very rich guy that was like a brother to her had repeatedly raped her….. I didn't believe her and she no longer looked at me as a lover… She ran away that night without a word or trace and I didn't see her for 9 years .
Mavi: Why was virginity that important to you…. You married me a divorcee that had a daughter…. What made you change….. I'm glad that you did because you wouldn't have even looked at me back then.
Sancar: That was how I was raised… this macho, the girl we marry must be pure…. As it turned out Guven didn't believe her either… he turned a blind eye because of Akin's wealth and status….. Sancar: When she left ….. My anger was still in force…. I put all my energies into making money and power, which I did and I became Sancar Efe because of it…. It bought the olive groves and the mansion and shares in the port by going into partnership with Gediz my childhood friend. I always felt inferior to Nare because I was the sharecroppers son, so I had to prove I was just as good as anyone. I made myself believe that she left because I wasn't worthy of her and I believed that she was just using me to get back at her father.

Sancar: Nare came back 9 years later with news that had me in a rage… The night I married Menekse and Nare comes walking in with Melek and announces that I was Melek's father and she was now entrusted to me. Since she wasn't a virgin on our wedding night I off course , said that can't be and I rejected Melek as my daughter
Mavi: What did Melek do
Sancar: Melek was crying and Nare was furious with me….. Everyone else was in Shock that Nare was there….. 9 years had pass and not a word other than Melek was my daughter. Gediz who had met Nare on the plane coming realized that Nare was my Nare and then took her to his house so that everyone could calm down.
Mavi: You were a cruel man back then…. When did you know that Melek was your daughter
Sancar: I was sure that I was not the father since I had only been with Nare one time on our wedding night,. so DNA test was made and I was 100% the father which Nare was certain of.
Mavi: Why did Nare come back after all those years later
Sancar: I never knew what happened to Nare after she let me that night….. I just assumed that she went and continued her life like before and that I was a mistake that shouldn't of happened. I later found out she tried to commit suicide because no one believed her of the rape. When she was found she had numerous operations from her fall off the cliffs and her pregnancy gave her the will to survive. When Melek was born she found her purpose to live.

Sancar: If she would have announced Melek as my daughter before the ceremony to Menekse, there would have been no marriage and no Menekse trying to poison Melek. If Akin had never raped Nare….. non of this would had happened. If Gediz never met Nare and fallen in love with her , own business arrangements would not have faltered. If Nare would have never married Gediz …. Melek would not have been left motherless

Mavi: As you just saw….. Melek knows what she wants… if you want to earn her trust and love you will have to earn it and it may not be easy…. I'm going to be very upfront with you….. Melek is my daughter also… my love for her has no distinction between Mehmet and Melek….. they are equal to me and Melek knows it. I will not let anyone hurt her again
Nare: Now I understand why Sancar loves you so much
Mavi: they are my family now… we came here as a family and we will provide you the time to heel the wounds that have been placed in Melek's heart… This will not be easy especially as Melek grows….. she will understand her own mind. We both must respect that.
Nare: Thank you for this talk….. I told Sancar that I may learn something from you and I have….. my daughter …. Sorry our daughter is in excellent hands… let's go back and start this process over again for Melek
Mavi and Nare walk back in and Sancar is especially curious as to what they talked about….. with Melek still uneasy and holding to Sancar's leg. Guven is praying that he isn't going to be blamed for this not working out.
Nare: Melek, my precious…. You are one of those few lucky girls that has two mommies that love you very much… your mommy Mavi and I have talked and we are going to let you chose how and where I can get to know you better….. but we will do it together…. Is that alright with you
Melek: Will we have to stay here the whole time
Nare: Grandfather Guven has to have a treatment, but after that we can go wherever you want
Melek: Mom, Papa , were all staying together
Nare: for the time being we will stay here the servants will bring your luggage to your rooms…. And then we will have dinner… Is that alright… Mavi?
Mavi: that will be fine
The housekeeper brings Sancar, Mavi and the children up to their rooms while Nare and Guven have a private conversation.
Guven: What happened with Mavi
Nare: Nothing happened other than I now understand what Melek has gone through and what it's going to take to make her love me again… Father….. you almost destroyed my daughter like you destroyed me…. Get out your checkbook….. your going to pay for whatever it takes to get Melek there. We will follow Mavi's guidance and do what she suggests. Wherever Melek wants to go we're going and you're paying for it.
Guven: Whatever you say….. I promised I would make it up to you
After everyone is settled in their bedrooms, Dinner is served in the dining room.
Melek decides to tryout this new freedom that Mommy Nare has bestowed on her
Melek: Can I eat the way I like to eat or do I have to follow grandfathers rules of which fork to use.
Mavi and Sancar both smile
Nare: Sweetheart, I never liked those rules myself…. You eat the way you like to eat…. Right Grandfather.
Guven: Those were silly rules, anyway
After dinner Nare asks Mavi if she can talk to Sancar privately
Mavi: You can talk to him whenever you want…. Privately or in front of me… the conversation between you two is a long time coming… Nare…. I trust Sancar completely
Nare and Sancar go into the study
Nare: I don't know where to begin….. this journey that we've had from when we were kids till now …. Why did it happen the way that it did
Sancar: we were kids that that fell in love but had no idea what love really was. Maybe if we had the knowledge that we have today, maybe things would have turned out differently, but our destinies crossed…. We stirred up a lot of dust and it got blown away.
Nare: When I talked to Mavi…. We had similar circumstances, yet very different results….. I'm not trying to imply why her and not me….. Mavi is a remarkable woman and I understand why you love her …. Help me understand the difference
Sancar: The biggest difference is me and you were so much alike in temperament….. we were two firecrackers that blew up instantly….. Mavi is very calculating….. Whenever I say something she looks straight through me to make sure what I really meant….. She always makes me think of the ramifications.
Nare: How did you meet her….. she told me she was running away from her tragedy of loosing her daughter.
Sancar: she was stuck in a wash and when I went to help her I saw this emptiness inside her yet she was defiant…. I just knew that I couldn't leave her alone….. she was trying so hard to disappear.
Nare: Why couldn't you see me like that after I told you I was raped
Sancar: If you would have told me before we got married I would have believed , because you told me after….. I thought you were trying to cover up….. I was a kid just like you… that has always been the problem between us…. Our sense of timing in talking…. We never talked when we were suppose to….. Mavi doesn't let me get away with that…. She rips it out me if she has to…. I learned to do the same to her
Nare: we did one thing right…. We made a beautiful girl…. Didn't we
Sancar: Melek is perfect….. she is smart and beautiful as her mother
Nare: yet Mavi is the one that saved her
Sancar: Mavi has loved her like her own since the first moment…..Melek in a way saved Mavi
Nare: Halise always hated me because I loved you…. What does she feel about Mavi
Sancar: They got off to a bad start , but Mom actually delivered Mehmet….. now Mavi is her favorite person …. Enough of Mavi…. What about you… have you overcome the trauma disorder
Nara: As strong as I tried to project myself….. I am very week in some areas…. Now that I know that about myself, I can avoid falling into traps that I put myself in. Let's face it I did cause many problems

After Guven Celebi passed away because of his brain tumor, Nare spent 6 months with getting Melek to trust her as she along with Sancar, Mavi, Melek and Mehmet traveled the globe . They brought Melek to The Galapagos Islands to see all the different animals, went to Africa to see the elephants , Went to Disneyland in Orlando Florida…. Mehmet learned how to walk and how to talk by saying Mama and Papa.
Nare promised to come to the Mansion for every holiday and special event that Melek had. Sancar called Captain Omer and crew to bring the yacht to Greece so that the return trip to Bodrum could be made while Sancar and Mavi could make stops at different lagoons and waterfalls that would come across in the Aegean Sea going back home.
