So the barrier was broken everyone was saved, it was all good right? Wrong the Demon that come when they call their name had to Reset everything, and the best part? Asriel remembers everything and they now had to make sure Frisk does not fall beacouse of such creature! May the light of the Angel guide him toward an happy ending.

Chapter 1: DELTA RESET

LONG AGO TWO RACES RULED OVER THE EARTH HUMANS AND MONSTERS.

ONE DAY WAR BROKE OUT BETWEEN THE TWO RACES.

AFTER A LONG BATTLE THE HUMANS WERE VICTORIOUS.

AND THEN THEY SEALED THE MONSTERS UNDERGROUND WITH A POWERFULL SPELL.

That is how our tale begun... Centuries passed since the day of the war, the kingdom of monster slowly managed to restore itself, and everyone tried to move on and live their lives, the King and Queen of the mountain tried their hardest to make sure the renmant of monster kind didn't lose hope in their cruel injust imprisonment succeeding, the queen took care of the kingdom instructive program and scientific department, the war costed the lives billions of monsters, it was a genocide, the humans showed no mercy bringing many species of monsters to extinction...

Why did they do this? No real logical reason.

For power? Possible.

For fear? Undeniable humans tend to fear what they can't comprehend, and on such they prefer to destroy instead of undertand.

For mere sadistic desire to cause cruelty and pain? Maybe most not all, but a still huge number of them yes, humans especially those that think to be powerfull respect someone else love to simply cause pain, just for appease themselves...

Just beacouse they could? It was no mistery, humans were born naturally stronger then Monsters, one of them could easily wipe out houndreds of them, only meeting true difficulty with specifing types and species of monsters, the humans were born with a superior physical body, and their soul were extremely more powerfull then the Souls of monsters kind no matter the species... After all humans were always hypocrite, even among themselves...

But were they all like these? Were they all ok with such slaughters? No... But as often it happens, good persons tend to either succumb with an horrible fate, or to give up seeing no point in trying and hide to live their lives, hide to survive, letting the guilt eat them alive, while the only thing that they could do was to rise youngsters hoping to overpower one day the cruelty, even if in the end nothing truly change.

After the war with monsterkind, magic begun to slowly leave humanity, with the species now becoming more weak. Calamities were unleashed over the time, causing the death of millions of humans, leaving behind only a few to survive, humanity fearfull and inferior nature made them blame monsterkind, and try in every way to make sure no one would enter the area where they were sealed, however for them it was not enough, the cataclysmic events kept happening around the world, and soon humans true nature shifted the blame not anymore on monsters, now merely a legend a folklore fo them, but to magic, so a war broke among themselves and persecutions were made to kill every single human that had the ability to use magic, elder, man, womans and childrens, it was an orrendous massacres, but not for magic user, or at last not only them, both parts destroyed one another for centuries, and atrocities that couldn't be spoken were done... This war had been called, the Eternal War since how long it lasted...

During the 2 century of the Eternal War, peaple inside of the two groups, decided that they couldn't take it anymore, and escaped trying to start a new, somewhere far far away at the feet of a mountain, stumbling eventually in one another, tension and fear was between them... What could they do? What should they do? Blessure however was among them, as one of the humans with them begun to tell of their tale, on what they wanted to do, this caused both groups to learn about one another, the tension slowly broke apart, friendships were made, Kindness was being diplayed between the group, why there was so much fear? Why so much hate? They were all identical, families were born, Love flourished, Life spread, and eventualy from zero they all showed Perseverance and Tenacity, they kept their Integrity despite the passage of the years allowing their Individuality to be expressed and most of all to be accepted. As they worked with Patiance and Virtue a small town emerged, a town later on called... Ebott, and after that even the mountain was named after the city, in honour of the founder Mark Ebott 1st, a man who truly believed in Justice, who died unfortunately beacouse of an incurable illness...

Eventually the Eternal War stopped, and humans lost all the capacity of doing magic, the scars left on humankind was enough to create some ground rules so that the same mistakes couldn't be made on the next generations... The peaple of Ebott created their own small Nation, while in the rest of the world humans started to try to rebuilt their decaying society, eventually doing it, and so humanity now a bit less foolish tried to approach a new path, a path of knowledge... But despite it all, eventually centuries later the same mistakes happened once again, and the ending result were even worst... The wars left now scars on the land... Scars that humanity and time could not undone... And eventually the world found itself locked into a cold war...

The Ebott Nation survived only beacouse of the harshety it was to reach it, and also beacouse of the sheer Determination it's inhabitants possesed, internal riot always saw the fall of those who seeked power and control for themselves, the principles that were built by their ancestors always finding a way to prevail, come back, and being on the lead if they were not anymore, but no one could calculate this... What Ebott was facing now was like nothing else... The past showed itself, and in the worst possible way, a Human was born, and this one had Magic... But considering on what founded Ebott, who where the founders it was less then a bad things, the peaple of Ebott had a lot of curiousity, and excitement, untill everything went down, this human was a Demon in child shape, a megalomaniac that alone killed 45 peaple, but eventually even with it's magic it was to weak against an entire species, Ebott as a Nation alone was stunningly strong only beacouse of their Tenacity and their sense of Justice, that were being backed up by their overwhelming Determination, despite the Demon being Determined as all of them on it's own...

Forced to flee the Demon child escaped, and in Ebott was made sure that the name of such Entity was never to be spoken again, less then being chosed again for a newborn... Beacouse if it was done, then the Demon would come once more, just like it always did since it was born and was being called...

While all of this happened monsterkind lived in constant peace, the King and Queen of the mountains had a son eventually, a child the Prince of the mountain... The kingdom was filled with hope, the child was labelled quickly by the elders as a prodigy and a beacon of power, a shy little angel filled with kindness, wich smile was able to warm and fill everyone love, hope and compassion... This caused plenty of monsters that lost hope to find it again, the prince for them was everything... Their hope, their love, their compassion, their desire for peace and freedom... Monsterkind managed to find progress as well, thanks to someone, a monster with a brilliant mind the First Royal Scientist, he managed to create a generator of magic thanks to what the humans unwillingly gifted them by dumping everything in the waters, bringing technological progress to them all. As he tried to find a way to break the barrier that sealed them underground something happened... Fear and uncertainty striked the kingdom... An human feel underground, the news came from the Royal Family, the young Prince found them wounded after an extremely high fall from an hole, to high to be reached but the Royal scientist wasn't concerned about the human health the slightest, he was concerned of something more, either the barrier weakened, the soul of this human was more powerfull then normal, or even worst the barrier was made so that the humans from the outside could enter freely to finish the job... He more then ever now had a reason to keep working on his projects, but when the news of the family adopting the human came... For the scientist everything fell apart, his soul begun to scream that there was something wrong about them, everyone was cheerfull, blindly hopefull, but no one could see what in reality was there, what was truly happening... Something terribly wrong... And luckly he wasn't the only one... Another monster Veteran knew it, that this human was no good news... So as the time passed the scientist learned more from the Veteran and eventually begun to create something that could study the human and it's full power, the scientist hiding everything from the royal family begun to work on weapons, weapons that could have killed humans no matter what.

A tragedy happened for the kingdom... The human fell ill, and no one knew what to do, except the Royal scientist wich was tasked to heal it... It was the perfect shot, study the unconscious human, in plain sight, the monster managed to find something rather worrying... The Soul of a human wasn't just different in shape, but also in composition, in his time he studied monster souls, specifically his to understanding it and hoping to restore his fallen species, as the last surviving of such he had to find a way to create life from only himself, and also to survive the process and hopefully managing to avoid dieing from aging.

Eventually the scientist gived the Royal Family the body back, leaving them with a lie... That he couldn't figure out what was killing them... The king prayed the adopted child to stay determined and to survive... But eventually it was pointless, the human died... And worst of all... The Prince disappeared... A research was made, one that went for hours... Eventually someone was found at the barrier... Horror striked the Family, the monster was one of their own, they had the human child on their arms, and was deadly wounded...

???: "Mom... Dad... H-howdy..."

The monster filled with pain and tears was their son...

???: "I'm... Sorry... Chara... Was... Right..."

The revealed prince collapsed, his mother immediately trying to heal him with magic, but with no avail, the King had an empty blank expression...

???: "No, no, no, no, no, no... ASRIEL WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING!? TAKING THE SOUL AND GOING OUTSIDE!? WHY, WHY!? WHY COULDN'T YOU BE MORE LIKE CHARA AND BEING LESS REBELLIOUS! WHAT A FOOLISH MOVE, I THOUGHT I TAUGHT YOU BETTER THEN THIS!"

The prince had no strenght in himself... His mother screamed at him, but he couldn't hear well, everything hurted and he could barely keep his eyes open, tear streamed down, he could only see his father broken look, suddenly he felt something cracking, and he lost all feeling in his body...

Asriel: "I... I... C-c... Can't... F-f.. El.. L a... An.. Y... T.. Hi... N..."

His voice was low almost absent, his vision faded into blackness and heard a voice... The voice of his adopted human sibling...

Chara: "You. Idiot."

And then for the prince there was no more life... The King looked as his son scattered and turned to dust, a sharp pain hitting his soul, same the queen wich lost control of her emotion. The Royal Scientist and the Royal Guard were called and eventually found out the proof, the Prince was killed by the humans from the surface causing the king to snap. With the death of the prince hope was gone, and monsterkind had no faith anymore, he had only one choice to do... The humans took everything away from them... Their families... Their freedom... Their hopes and dreams... The king filled with Rage, Grief and Animosity for the injustice that was committed to his peaple made a public statement...

Every human that fell underground should have been killed and their soul collected, peace was not an option they made it clear, screaming for Vengeance and Karma the Mountain King declared war at all of humanity, and monsterkind filled with hope from his statement... The king then promised that he would have destroyed the barrier he himself by following what the ancient prophecy said, and becoming a GodLike being after absorbing 7 Human souls.

The queen after hearing the statement felt disgusted, and not even trying to reason with the King, not even caring about the consequences she left both Him and the Kingdom, wich slowly fell apart...

Decades passed the first human fell... And was the first of many to die, the human a young male filled with Bravery who died from the hand of the Guards.

A couples of years later, the second fall, it was a man who believed in Justice and that he could stop the king, he survived plenty of guard and knowing better he did not kill innocents and civilians, only defending himself, he died after a fall and was found in the dumb, soul out of his body while the water around him cleaned him.

The third was a young girl, she was someone that stayed true to her ideals showing a great Integrity, she believed to be able to change monsters opinion by showing Mercy, Compassion and Care, and it was working, she in fact was able to make friends during her times there, she loved to dance and used to do it in hope to entertain monster making use of it as a way to build an healty relationship, she died drawned, and her death was a lot mourned among the friends she made, especially the Dogs monsters despite the rest wanting her death...

The forth was a woman born with a lot of Kindness, following the ideals of the previous human she used Kindness believing that it was the best solution, in fact she was the one to arrive further then anyone that came before, but in the end she died in the hottest part of the kingdom, unable to survive the heat...

The fifth one was also the only one that managed to arrive to the king, a strong young woman who Persevered through every trial, fighting only when necessary, extremely smart she was also able to impress the Veteran, she could have lived with him, but she refused the offer, her life was already decided before her fall, and if she could do something about it, she would... In the end when arriving at the king she fought, she tried to reason with him, but eventually she succumbed as her body couldn't keep up considering her illness, and the king eventually killed her... With her death the king trembled with the vision going blurry, suddenly the death of the other humans was more heavier on him then ever, despite even not being directly involved with their death, and it didn't help the misterious disappearance of the Royal Scientist leaving the position empty and the projects abbandoned...

The sixth soul no one knows who it belonged to, aside from what the monsters that took it said... This one was perphaps the youngest one ever fall even younger than the adopted child of the royal family, a Patient young child, the monster that found it used to live on the ruins of the old capital, that was left abbandoned years before the first human soul was collected, but what left the king more broken was knowing who lived on the ruins... The Queen, the 3 monsters wanted to be free and not stay trapped, so they digged a corridor that managed to lead outside the ruins, the moment the kid was alone they killed it, and that broke the King apart... He kept asking himself if it was still worthy, he felt breaking apart, questioning if he deserved to keep living, if maybe he should just give up... But no he couldn't everyone Hopes and Dreams was on him, he had to keep moving forward, to stay Determined...

After that a long time passed before a new human fell underground, many monsters didn't even know how they looked like, and also many of them lost all faith and hope, the kingdom fall now was more true then ever, the new Royal Scientist had an experiment that included the soul of the humans, and she suddenly out of nowhere just, stopped and broke contact with everyone, never answering their questions, only saying that she was working on it, the peaple hope was freil, but eventually something happened, a creature opened his eyes... A golden flower... This golden flower however quickly noticed that something was off...

He noticed that he was a flower something he was sure to not be supposed to be... After a while of him screaming for help in confusion the King arrived, and it is then that the flower revealed to be the Prince, for the king it was a miracle, but for the Prince? It was not, in fact he couldn't feel anything... He kept trying, but failed over and over, he couldn't feel a thing, but he stayed Determined... So he left the king to search the queen, in the end he found her... But maybe it was better not, she failed to, the prince unable to keep living in a world without love, in a world without his best friend decided to take it's life falling into the lava...

Darkness surrounded him as he begun to think...

Asriel: 'Without a soul... What comes when you die?'

Something primal begun to burn inside of him, he wanted to go back, he wanted to live!

Asriel: "NO! THIS IS NOT HOW IT ENDS!!!"

The prince all mightly roared toward the heavens... And so like from a dream he woke up where he used to be when the king found him... He kept experimenting killing himself over and over even in the most brutal and painfull ways, but just by being determined he could come back to life, like in a videogame with no one remembering what he did... His mind broke apart insanity grew thanks to the lack of consequence and his Determination eventually consumed him, the thirst for power growth within himself, trying to fill the void left by the lack of a soul, after all he still was just a child, someone who died lost his soul and that was revived in a body that didn't belong to him, nothing now was left of the prince, controlling and playing with time and space he learned, burnt helped and killed everyone over and over and over, untill eventually boredom was the only thing left, he was tired of how things were, tired of being a flower... So he did something he let time move forward...

One day a human fell underground, the flower welcomed him friendly, but instead it only lured for one thing, the human soul... But as he almost killed it someone intervened, and it was led to safety. The fallen prince annoyed tried to jump back in the timeline... But failed... The human Determination succeeded his, but for him it was only one person... His best friend, the soul color and the Determination were a proof of it...

The human journey through the undergroud was filled with hardship, but eventually without killing anyone it managed to reach the king, after a long battle the human was victorious, it decided to spare him, but the flower stepoed in, killed the king, and took the human souls... Taking control over the world once again he trapped the human in an endless nightmerish loop where he could kill them over and over again... But in the end the human souls rebelled against him and stripped him away of his power, the human however showed mercy multiple times, confusing the flower of why such an act, causing him to flee... The human was free from the underground, but the monsters were left trapped, the barrier was still there, the souls gone, and the king death, the human then met the flower into an abyss where he told them how to achieve an happy ending... The human followed such advice wich leaded to this...

The barrier was broken, everyone had been saved, even the prince had been helped, the human showed mercy to him again and this time around from within the prince all the monster souls he absorbed to become a god were releasing all the love they felt for the human, the compassion, the hope, causing the soulless prince to remember who he once was, to have his compassion back, the human forgived him and hugged him, the prince then left...

The human woke up called by the rest of its friends, but something, no someone was missing, the prince wasn't there, the human was confused, why wasn't he there if he was saved? The human wondered through the underground searching for him, and eventually they found him in the same room where they fell, they talked, but eventually the prince told them to go and do something better to do, that not everyone could be saved, to spend time with his friends and family, that he soon would reverse to a soulless emotionless flower... The human left saddened by the result, it was supposed to be an happy ending, but then why did it felt so bitter? He caused so much pain after all... But for the human it was different, the prince was just like the Lost Soul it faced inside of him... Like the Amalgamates, he was lost, confused, broken, hopeless and with a fate he did not deserved, uncapable of feeling love beacouse of him being soulless... Someone that really didn't have a choice in the end... The human left the prince behind questioning if there was a way to save him...

As the human left he reached a river in a snowy area where a monster standing in a boat waited...

???: "Tra la la, hello again young Frisk, do you want to come back?"

The human wich name was Frisk, nodded and entered the boat...

???: "Tra la la, a bittersweet end has come, but from it a new beginning will soon come..."

Frisk was perplexed, this monster always talked weird.

Now back on the ruin we found ourselves looking again at Asriel, who was sitted on a small garden made of golden flowers...

Asriel: "They left... Finally... I did not want them to see it themself..."

The prince body begun to melt leaving place only to spiky roots...

Asriel: "...I don't want to let go..."

As the prince said it a small tear dropped down, and now everything that was left of him was his flower form who sighed...

He looked up staring at something, everything had grown dark...

Asriel: "Hi. It seems that everyone is perfectly happy. Monsters have finally reached the surface, peace and prosperity will spread across the land..."

The flower prince said with a contempt and peacefull voice, his expression than morphed in an awkward one...

Asriel: "Take a breath, there is nothing to worry about..."

In the meanwhile the person on the boat...

???: "Tra la la, the end his vain, as the demon makes his choice tra la la. May the Angel save us all tra la la."

Back to the flower prince...

Asriel: "Well... There is still one thing... One being with the power to Reset it all..."

The prince knew that someone was smiling in the dark, a sense of dread and doom crept on his back...

Asriel: "Let them be happy... Let Frisk live it's life... Don't Reset anymore... This journey we have made... It's over now, let time move forward... There is no need to FIGHT this is the end, what we originally planned, the barrier it's gone... We can rest." 'I didn't planned to say this originally, but maybe I can stop them.'

Asriel: "It's just you and me, peace has come, you saw it yourself, LOVE was never gained, but love was spread. Please let this world be."

Two option appeared and the prince was in the middle of them, on his right there was CONTINUE on his left TRUE RESET.

Asriel: "Please you won, chose to continue, don't Reset, I don't want to go back and do it all over again. I know i don't deserve peace, but they all don't deserve to be trapped, Frisk doesn't deserve to have it's future and life stripped away from them..."

A shadow appeared above him smiling creepily.

Asriel: "Ha-ha-ha... Of course, I should have know I couldn't stop you from make this decision Chara... But in this case you will have to erase my memories as well..."

The abyss silence was weirdly growing more silent and soffocating, the prince gulped heaviness filling him...

Asriel: 'I don't want to go back and do it all over again, i don't want to forget...'

Memories of his time with Frisk, the forgiveness they received, and the love everyone felt for them begun to fill him...

Asriel: "Please don't Reset, I don't want to go back! I don't want to forget this! Please let them be, let time move forward, Chara come on has this experience really unaffected you? was it really meaningless for you!?"

A demonic laugh filled the abyss, an human hand than begun to reach toward the TRUE RESET button...

Asriel: "Chara please go to rest, leave Frisk and us all alone! Peace has come, you don't have a reason to do this!"

The prince said but the hand kept going and so did the maniacal demonic laugh.

Asriel: "Please, let Frisk be themselves! Leave them all alone! Torture me! Do what you want with me! But please leave them all out of this, they don't deserve their future ripped apart!"

As the hand reached the button the entity pressed it...

Asriel: "No... No... NO! I DON'T WANT TO FORGET! NOOOO!!!"

A blinding light filled the abyss and the entire universe, then just like that everything was back... Back to how it all begun...

Chara: "Wait... WHAT!? ARE YOU SERIOUS!? HOW!? THE SAVE FILE IS MINE HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!? JUST WHEN THE PEACES FELL INTO THE RIGHT PLACE!"

System rebooted successfully.

Chara: "Finally."

True Reset has been detected.

Chara: "Huh useful, at least my comand was still taken."

Warning individuated collision between Fun Values. The new Value cannot be trace, anomalies in the timeline may occur.

Chara: "Just move on already, now that I have full access to the Save File I only have to make sure Frisk LV and EXP rise so that I can take over them. And with their memories and Flowey stuck in the loop I can finally destroy them all and move onto the next world."

Connection succedeed.

The entiry smirked as a creepy maniacal laugh echoed everywhere...
