Hello everybody.

An idea I had for McGee standing up against himself at Gibbs. Years ago, when I was younger Gibbs, and Tony were some of my favorite characters with I didn't think much of Timothy McGee… yeah that's changed.

I used to hold up NCIS as this masterpiece of TV storytelling until I started looking at what went on well, I changed my mind.

NCIS is the only show out of the other two of LA or New Orleans for its characters being immature high schoolers. For example, Dwayne Cassius "King" Pride in NCIS New Orleans would not be putting up with Abby, DiNozzo's antics, or treat McGee like crap as Gibbs does at times.

Which the reason why characters like Iris West in Flash show, DiNozzo, Abby or Gibbs, Tony Stark from MCU, Kylo Renn from Star Wars, and Sherlock Holmes from Sherlock have such a fanbase is it's a form of escapism for people who want to be jerks/total abusive nut jobs without consequences.

Meanwhile, characters like Timothy McGee or Steve Rogers get villainized by fans. I can't even begin to describe the number of times I've seen prop Tony Stark or DiNozzo fics which twist Tim or Steve into these monsters.

However, DiNozzo or Stark you don't have to look very hard for actual canon proof of their dirtbag to villain actions. Only the writers pander to these people like Steve Rogers had his Civil War film chopped up with giving Robert Downey Jr. more screen time as RDJ called it Iron Man 4.

NCIS bullpen room in Norfolk

Rubbing his eyes briefly Timothy McGee looks back up at a very irate Gibbs standing there since they've been in an argument, once more over this recent petty officer's guilt or innocence. Well, more of Gibbs yelling, while he's trying not to explode at the man. People think he has no backbone since he doesn't go around barking at people all day, and always tries to be nice when McGee knows they couldn't be more wrong.

He has one, it's just tries to be nice for hopefully getting more done that way rather than being a nasty bully. Because seeing him angry as Bruce Banner has said in the old TV show, comics, or film "Please don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

After all, McGee knows he has his father's anger… something that makes Gibbs look like a wet puppy when upset. Of course, right now his boss is really getting close to his limit McGee notes, unhappily.

"And my gut is telling me the petty officer is innocent of murder regardless of what the film footage says. A man who gets a purple heart and silver star just doesn't snap. You were never in the military; I don't expect you to understand. Rule 36 McGee, we are being played. Not that you care given Ziva and you breaking rule 12" Gibbs barks.

Glaring "Enough" McGee snaps getting to his feet to stare the gray-haired man down "I am so sick and tired of your gut or your damn rules. You think just because your gut is telling you something it makes it fact? It doesn't, I look at the evidence. And all these rules, are not official NCIS rules! They are something you came up with and think we have to follow them just because you do, we don't!"

"You" Gibbs starts only gets cut off.

"I'm not done yet. I've stomached it for years but I'm beyond sick of you treating me like crap or letting DiNozzo or Abby get away with whatever they want for fun, all because I was never in the service! DiNozzo was a former cop, Ziva an assassin, Ducky military medic, Kate protected the president, Abby is your favorite, so she gets protection, yet you have always looked down on me since my background is college. Like I'm somehow less despite the fact I've proved for years otherwise." McGee says furiously "You're a disgrace to the marines Gibbs and everybody who's ever served."

Gibbs reels back like he just got sucker punched and is about five seconds away from personally punching McGee in his face, since he hates smug computer nerds.

Tony is looking on in shock at McGee standing up to Gibbs like this and light outrage, through conflicted since understanding where he's coming from. Ziva on the other hand is looking over with a proud smile for McGee standing his ground as is many others in the bullpen turning to look at the events occurring. Events, a lot consider a long time coming.

"And your rules for some are just stupid like rule 12 or others such as rule 6 for apologizing does not make you weak, rather you are the biggest coward ever thinking otherwise," Timothy says, "And find somebody else to be your chew toy, because I'm done."

Timothy walks away from his desk only stopping near Ziva's desk as Gibbs's voice gets his attention one last time.

"You just can't walk away, rule 11 McGee the case is not yet done" Gibbs snaps.

"Your wrong, I had sent the director an email containing all the info on the case and quickly explained the current problem you were causing, just when you started yelling at me once more. The director is having it reassigned to a different team. Besides the case is mostly wrapped up anyway, the petty officer is guilty" McGee replies.

"I can see why my brother considered you like Eli since my father and you are very much alike. Frankly, I wish I never called you to come out of Mexico" Ziva says.

Looking over at "Tony, one more thing my name is not McGoo or whatever insulting nickname you keep coming up with or probie. Because I have not been a recruit for an exceptionally long time" Tim points out.

Timothy and Ziva head to the elevator with stopping to look around as the entire bullpen starts clapping in appraisal. Gibbs glares at everybody around and Tony looks downward because for all his womanizing frat boy ways has cost him having friends. Unlike Tim or Ziva, once you get past her rough exterior, nobody really likes Gibbs, Abby, or him.

Meanwhile, Tim steps into the open elevator while Ziva follows her husband inside as the doors close.

Hope you all enjoyed this and leave a review letting me know what you think if you want.

Yeah, I had McGee call Gibbs a disgrace since like John Diggle from Arrow well I consider both to be poor examples of the military service members.

Until next time.
