Oliver tapped his fingers against the table, a frown on his face. He continued tapping, using it to measure the time. This was getting excessive, even for them. His frown deepened, but before he could open his mouth to say anything, Barry was elbowing him unnecessarily hard.

"Leave them," Barry hissed. "They don't get to live in the same city! They don't see each other as often as you and Felicity, who are like literally joined at the hip."

"Says the guy who spent the last video-conference on Snart's lap," Oliver grunted dryly.

"Only highlighting my point more," declared Barry, though he flushed. "Those two have to live apart, defending two different cities. They don't get that kind of opportunity all that often."

"Kara has superspeed that rivals you and she can fly," argued Oliver, still looking unimpressed. "And they both have these little portal devices from Cisco."

"Sh," Barry narrowed his eyes at him. "Be a bit more of a romantic. Besides, Jefferson isn't here yet anyway. Not like we can start the meeting yet. Also, Sara canceled because she has 'more important things to go down on'. Which I assume refers to Ava."

"If you could tune down the commentary it would already make all of this infinitely less awkward."

Kate stood a bit off the side of the Justice League table, having an excited Kryptonian wrapped around herself. Kara had her arms around Kate's shoulders and her legs around Kate's waist, clinging so tightly onto her that Kate was pretty sure she cracked at least one rib in this hug. Not that she would complain aloud; she knew how affectionate her girlfriend was. When both Oliver and Barry looked away slightly chastised, Kate smiled pleased and rested her chin on Kara's shoulder, which only prompted Kara to bury herself closer into Kate.

"I mi—issed you," whispered Kara and Kate could just picture the sunshine smile on her lips.

"You... saw me yesterday, when we were having lunch with Kelly and Alex," pointed Kate out.

"Yeah. That was like thirty hours ago," complained Kara, fingers in Kate's hair.

The look on Kate's face softened a little as she tightened her own grip on Kara. The blonde was the one with super-strength, but she currently fully relied on Kate to carry her. Kate had never been much of a hugger, or at least not since the accident. Who would she hug, after all. Beth was dead, her mom was dead, her dad had never been a big hugger. But ever since she had gotten together with this living ray of sunshine, she had been softened up a lot. Kara loved cuddling and hugging and just anything that was tender and comforting. Kate smiled as they kept hugging and ignoring Oliver and Barry for as long as they could get away with it.
