Chapter 1: Different Path

In a village in the mountain's, 10 friend's who were all orphaned decide to head to Oranio and join a familia wanting to make something of themselves in the future, each one are teen's with 4 females and 6 males, their was 1 amazon that has tan skin, green eyes, and long black hair that covers the right side of her face, 1 male weretiger who is large and muscular even for his age, he has long, messy, and thick blonde hair with blue eye's and can easily be mistaken for a full-grown man, 2 twin werewolves, both with white hair and blue eyes, 1 female Renard with red hair and yellow eyes, 1 female elf with jade-colored hair that reaches to her waist with the same color eyes, and Elf ears, 1 male cat person with chestnut hair and eyes, 1 Prum male with blonde hair and one silver eye with a scar across it and one blue eye, 1 Hume Bunny male with brown hair and eyes, and lastly, 1 male human, but due to his hair and eye's, he is compared to a Hume Bunny like his friend, as these 10 set off, they travel to the land they seek to join a familia and start the next chapter of their lives Oranio, and due to 3 of them having experience in being in familia's before even though it didn't end to well for them, they should do fine in knowing where to go.

Guard:" alright, your names are Bell Cranel, age 14, human"

Bell:" that's me"

Guard:" Silvia no last name due to having no family, age 14 as well but nearing 15, elf, miss, even if you don't have an official last name, you're going to need to put something here"

Silvia:" alright alright, put Cranel, we're all basically family here since we grew up in the same orphanage anyway, so might as well, also, having Bell as my little brother to be at my beck and call since I know he can't say no sound's wonderful"

Guard:" Una Redfou, age 16, Amazon"

Una:" yep"

Guard:" Luis Younger, age 17, weretiger"

Luis:" yes… I'm… me"

Guard:"... okay, Jacob and Jill Fullturn, both age 15 and werewolves"

Jacob:" in case you can't tell, we're twins"

Jill:" please don't mind him, he has a bad sense of humor, but yes, we're twins"

Guard:" Jack Wane, age 16, cat person… Jack Wane, why does that-"

Bell:" is their a problem, he's grown up with us all our lives in the countryside"

Guard:" Oh, he did, sore,y their's just someone else that… nevermind, I guess some people have the same name, Jack is pretty common after all, and since you had to fill in a last name, so he put whatever, so I guess he hasn't heard of him, anyway, let's move on, Fergus Erion, age 13, prum"

Fergus:" here"

Guard:" Suu Renula, age 14, Hume Bunny… you're human friend here look's more like a rabbit than you, you know"

Suu:" so we've been told, and we both say the same thing over and over"

Guard:" and lastly… a Renard, that's rare, Yang Yingla, age 16"

Yang:" I am presant, now can we go in"

Guard:" everything check's out, and you said 2 of you were in Oranio originally, so you don't need a guide, that much is for sure"

Una:" don't worry about us, we'll be fine"

Entering, they stay close and talk about who sends the decision's for them all in a meeting in a back alleyway.

Bell:" Jake, are you sure you're okay giving your name like that, you know that was risky right, I mean, what if they didn't believe us"

Jack:" if I gave a fack name with my look's they'd be suspicious of me, that's why I had you say I had no last name and to say I lie and say I grew up in the countryside with you all, this way, they'd brush it off as mistaken identity, and it's been a few year's so even if I meat people from back then, they may not recognize me instantly"

Yang:" alright, just be careful, okay"

Jack:" truthfully speaking, if you all let me be, you wouldn't have to help hide my identity"

Luis:" we… never… hurt… friend"

Fergus:" Luis is right, we wouldn't leave you behind, no excuses"

Jack:" if my identity does get found out, you can say I tricked you all if you want"

Bell:" we already lied to them and said you grew up with us, and nobody pointed that out, if you do get found out, they'd know we knew about you from the start, and we'd still defend you"

Jack:" thank's, but here's the thing, we need to join a familia that isn't too big, a big familia would attract a lot of attention too soon, as well as be nearly impossible to join under normal circumstances anyway"

Jacob:" true, any subjections then"

Yang:" I have a list of some familia's, taking into account the one's that cause trouble and the one's that don't fit our need's, as well as one's that will know who we are, Bell, you know your job"

Bell:" interview for everyone, Jack and Yang can't for obvious reason's, Jacob and Jill always give bad first impression's since they fight about every 5 minute's when they are close to one another, Luis can't speak too well, but he's learning, Una isn't exactly the best in discrete situations like this, Fergus tries to find blackmail when he meets people which rubs them the wrong way, Suu is too shy to speak well, and if an elf sees Silvia, they'll point out her look, and that never ends well"

Silvia:" this IS my real hair and eye color, why is that so hard to understand"

Una:" dear we all know that, we grew up with one another after all so we know you're not dying your hair or wearing color contacts like they accuse you of doing"

Jack:" Bell, of all of us, you're the only one who can give the best impression for all of us here, and don't worry about failing, just mention their are 9 other's who will join as well with the paper's we signed here and that should turn a favor for you, rejecting one person for being weak is one thing, but if you turn up 9 other people, you should do good since that's a steal for a familia… though, I'm not sure if it's full proof"

This was a good idea, however, thing's didn't go so great, even with the promise of 9 other possible member's, the familia's rejected Bell since he didn't seem strong enough, but then, they meet a goddess in an alleyway after Bell gets rejected again, and she agrees to take them all under her wing, her name, was Hestia.

Hestia:" so, where are these other's you want to join"

Bell:" follow me, their right around the corner here"

And going around the corner, she sees the other 9 people, and they are in basic clothing as far as she can tell, not that she has room to talk, but still, one of them didn't even have a shirt, anyway, with them all getting a blessing, she found that the cat person, Renard, and the Amazon was a level 3's, the werewolf twin's, the weretiger, and elf were level 2's, and the other 4 were level 1's, she had a strong familia now.

Hestia:" you all are amazing, together, we shall grow from here"

Jack:" where do we sleep"

Hestia:" umm… do you care where you sleep, the condition's may not be too good"

Jack:" all I really want is a roof over my head with people I don't have to keep my guard up all the tie around and I'm good"

Luis:" I'm… good… anything"

Hestia:" wait, all of you don't really care about possibly sleeping on the ground"

Una:" I've been to Oranio before, and I know you sometimes have to sleep in the dungeon, and coming from Telskyura I am accustomed to sleeping on the cold hard ground, so I'm used to sleeping in what other's would call uncomfortable places"

Jacob:" and me and my sister have slept on the ground before in almost every seasonal condition when we ran away from our home, so we can't care any less about conditions really"

Hestia:"... you're not a normal bunch, but I kinda like that since it makes you all that much more interesting and makes me want to get to know you all that much more, alright, I'll get us a roof over our head's, follow me"

Then as they head to the church, many are sleeping on the ground as Hestia makes a plan, if they gather enough money, they can buy sleeping bag's for them at least, though they all had different ideas on how to spend their money, though they all got new clothes,

Silvia got a pure Jade top that matches her eye's over a kind of short dress that was black in the center and white on the sides of it, as well as a pair of black gloves that reached above the elbow and two light green straps around her waist and a smaller one with which she held a piece of pure Jade piece of cloth that she carried on her side and a pair of black stockings that reached above the knee, she is flashy and energetic so she wears clothes that's easy for her to move in, Una got a tank top and short's with spat's on with a red skirt-like piece of clothing, and is also barefoot as well, for an amazon, she has a lot of clothes on, but she was raised differently from normal Amazon's since she was 3 and got take to the village, Luis got a pair of custom pants and shirt that were crafted to fit his size due to him being tall and muscular, his clothes needed to be special fit, both werewolf twins got clothes in a similar style, Jill got red shorts with matching red boots and a red jacket with a crimson scarf. She also wears black gloves, a black belt, and a black shirt underneath her jacket and Jacob got similar clothes, but he had pants instead, Jack got dark clothes, a black jacket, and a black scarf to cover his face with a cloak as well, he needed clothes to help hide his face and cover his face to help hide his identity, Yang got a battle kimono and regular Kimono to honor her Japanese roots and because she missed clothing like this, Fergus wore a pair of green clothes with a hat, they were fancy, but cheap as he looked for the best deal's on everyone's clothes, and some thrown away as well, washed up, fixed up, and able to be used, he didn't say which was which since it would mean he would get torn to shreds, Suu got a one-piece battle suit for combat since he focuses on speed above all, and over it, he only wears pant's and a shirt, Though bell didn't really get any new clothes as he used his money to help pay for the sleeping bag's and also in the saving's in the familia, what they all agreed on and from their, their new familia was thriving, and hestia got some recognition in Oranio, however, even with that, she wasn't getting any new members.

Hestia:" I paid off the Debt I had with Hephestus, but I'm not getting any new members, I also have Jack accompany me as a guard to make it where my familia does show power and promise"

Jack:" it's not as easy as you may think, yet, you have 10 member's and they do have promise, however, because we've only been active as a familia for a few day's, people don't know what to think of is yet"

Una:" truth be told, it will possibly be month's before we even get an offer from the desperate people looking for a familia, we joined because we all have special circumstances to us, and normally wouldn't have joined otherwise"

Bell:" wait, you mean we would have rejected Hestia's invitation's if our situation was better"

Yang:" if our situation was better, we'd be able to join those familia's that rejected us in the first place"

Bell:" I guess you have a point"

Luis:" we… special… no… easy"

Silvia:" yep, we are not here to take the easy path, we knew it would be ruff from the start"

Hestia:"... what special circumstances are we talking about"

Jack:"... in time after you know us, we'll tell you goddess… but now is-"

Hestia:" stop, I get it, to each their own, it's also not right to judge something or someone without giving them a chance, so I'll give you time so I can know you, however, when the time comes to reveal who you are, you tell me everything, fair"

Bell:" is that really-"

Jack:" that's fair"

Bell:" Jack, are you sure"

Jack:" all I needed was time, my past would come out one way or another, might as well give her the benefit of knowing who I am first before she makes a final impression on me, besides, this may be as much as I can get"

Hestia:" you too Yang, you can be given time as well before, you are in a similar boat as Jack, right"

Yang:" oh no, mine's nowhere near as bad, it would be insulting to Jack if I even tried to compare my problem with his... but it's not something I want to say out loud really as it is bad to me, so I'll take that"

Hestia:" alright, so what's the story with some of you"

Bell:" well… for the most part, me, Silvia, Fergus, and Suu grew up in the village when we were born… or at least when we were babies as Silvia was dropped off when she was a baby, Una came when she was 3 year's old, Jacob and Jill got to our village when they were both 5 year's old when they ran away from home with blood on them, Yang came some time later when we were 9, and Jack when we were 10, Luis was 10 when we all pitched in our money to buy him and set him free, and for their, we all stayed together as family since we hade no one else"

Hestia:" none of you have parents or people you know to go back to… or do you not want to go back, I'm assuming that goes for Jack, Yang, Jacob, and Jill"

Jill:"... let's leave it at that please"

Hestia had an idea of them now, and wasn't sure, but it did seem as though they were in special circumstances, so she left it at that
