"Ok so, ladies first," Nick says, after they step in the elevator.

"Sure, um, ok Nick, so, ever since uh we were in the jail cell together, um…" The elevator door closed, and Nick turned towards Ellie. He leans towards her, she thinks he is going to kiss her to shut her up, he has a habit of doing that, but instead he reaches past her to hit the stop button on the elevator. He returns to face Ellie, standing directly in front of her.

Ellie avoids Nick's eyes, but continues, "We've been having a lot of fun together and I love spending time with you, and, um…"

"I love you Ellie," Nick blurts out. Without skipping a beat, Ellie says, "I thought you said ladies first?"

Nick smiles and blushes, "I'm sorry, continue."

"I love you too Nick, but what's next?"

"Move in with me?" Nick says.

"What?" Ellie was stunned. She had joked about living in Nick's perfect apartment with him, but she never thought it would actually happen.

Nick dropped his bag and took Ellie's face in his hands. "You're the one Ellie, and I don't want to waste any more time without you by my side. I want to wake up next to you every morning and fall asleep with you in my arms every night."

Ellie smiled, but still stood there speechless, so Nick panicked and started rambling. "I mean I think you're gonna get sick of me. Seeing me at work, then at home, that's a lot of Nick Torres to handl-" Ellie cut him off by softly pressing her lips to his. It was now her turn to shut him up with a kiss. "I think I can handle lots of Nick Torres." He smiled and kissed her again.

Ellie hit the stop button and they continued down to their cars, hand in hand.

"See you at home roomie," Nick said with a huge grin on his face.
