Author's note: please read this before you read the story. Ok so first Minato will be an Uchiha and I know this has been done before but I'm doing this in a completely different way. Second Everyone in the village will know that Minato is an Uchiha. The village began to like the Uchiha's when Minato became hokage but after he died the village began to distrust them again. The Uchiha clan will take in Naruto since the Uchiha's respected Minato. Naruto will also have black hair and if you don't like this then you're free to pretend like Naruto has blonde hair. Also Naruto will not be Madara's grandson for anyone wondering and Naruto will be a prodigy because honestly Naruto was a prodigy with how fast he learned jutsu in the anime/manga he was just a neglected prodigy. He will also have the full nine tails and he will go dark and this will happen before the chunin exams. Now let's begin with the story.

Konoha Uchiha compound

A 5 year old boy was walking through the Uchiha compound. This boy had spiky long black hair with sky blue eyes. His name was Naruto and he was wearing black shorts with a grey shirt. This boy was hated by the villagers but loved by his clan. He was walking to a lake inside the compound to rest, this lake was his favorite lake because it was always peaceful. When he arrived he sat down on the grass and looked at the lake and he thought about how peaceful it looked. He then heard someone walking up to him and he turned around and saw a girl. She had white long messy hair with blue eyes almost as bright as his. She was wearing a black skirt and a white long shirt that looked too big for her, she also looked like she was the same age as her.

"Hey." The girl said.

"Um hey." Naruto replied

"I'm sorry if this sounds weird but I decided to follow you when I saw you walking though the compound, since you're the only other Uchiha besides me and my mom who has blue eyes." The girl said

"Yeah I guess I haven't seen any other Uchiha with blue eyes either." Naruto said.

"So do you come here often?" The girl asked.

"Yeah I do, it's really peaceful and no one really comes here." He said.

"Does that mean that you come here to spend time by yourself." She asked.

"Yeah it's the only place where I can spend time on my own." Naruto said.

"Oh ok then I'll get going then I don't want to disturb your private time." She said she began to walk away then Naruto grabbed her hand. She looked at him, now that she had a close look at him she thought that he was kinda cute.

"It's fine you can stay, I don't really have anyone to talk to well at least I don't have friends to talk to. For the past year I've just been training with my senseis and whenever I talk to them it's just about training." Naruto said in a sad tone. The girl then just looked at him for a few seconds and then she sat down next to him.

"Yuki." She said.

"Huh." Naruto replied.

"That's my name." Yuki said.

"Snow huh it fits you because your hair is white." Naruto said.

"Yeah that's what my mom and dad say too. That's actually the reason they named me Yuki since my hair is white. Although I don't know why I have white hair, I guess it will forever be a mystery. Now what's your name?" Yuki asked

"My name is Naruto it means fish cake or flow or whirlpool." Naruto said.

"Fish cake huh, I think I'll call you caky then." Yuki said with a giggle.

"What why." Naruto said a bit annoyed.

"Because I think it's a cute pet name and since you're my friend now I need to come up with some nicknames for you." Yuki said with a warm smile on her face. Naruto blushed from this and turned away from her.

"What makes you think we're friends." Naruto said, still facing away from her.

"Oh come on caky don't be like that. You said you didn't have any friends, so let's be friends. Come on, I think we will be amazing friends and maybe when we become Ninja we can join the same team." Yuki said.

"Fine I guess but how do you know I'll become a ninja?" Naruto asked.

"Well because you said you've been training for the past year of course." Yuki said.

"Well I guess that'll give it away." Naruto said.

"You know I also have a trainer. He's my big brother and his name is Shisui and he's really strong."

"Shisui I only know one Uchiha by the name, he's supposed to be one of the top Uchiha's alive right now and a prodigy like Itachi Uchiha."

"Yep he is and Itachi is also strong but I think my brother is stronger than him. After all, in all their spars Itachi hasn't won once." Yuki said.

"So you know Itachi too huh. You're probably grow up to become strong since you know two of the Uchiha's strongest members." Naruto said

"Yeah but you probably will too since you started training a year before me." Yuki said

"Yeah I guess. So Yuki, why is it you want to become a ninja?" Naruto asked

"Hmm I don't really have a reason I just want to since my big brother is one." Yuki said

"You should find a reason to become a ninja. If you truly do want to become a strong ninja then find a reason to get stronger. If you don't find a reason then don't become a ninja. It's a dangerous life and you shouldn't put your life on the line for no reason." Naruto said.

"I guess you're right, so what's your reason to become a ninja?" Yuki asked.

"I- I don't know I guess I really haven't thought about it. The whole reason I started training was because the clan said that I would be the one to help the clan rise to the top like my dad did." Naruto said.

"Your dad? Who's your dad?" Yuki asked.

"My dad was Minato Uchiha." Naruto said.

"MINATO UCHIHA YOU MEAN AS IN THE FOURTH HOKAGE." Yuki screamed in surprise. Naruto only nodded. Yuki then calmed down a little bit and looked at Naruto. "Well Now that I think about it you do look like him. I mean the spiky black hair and those sky blue eyes." Yuki said.

"Yeah I guess." Naruto said.

After a few minutes of both of them staring at the lake Yuki spoke. "So caky what do you want to do." Yuki asked.

"I don't know, what do friends do?" Naruto asked.

"Hmm they play games, so let's play tag." She said.

"Sure I guess." Naruto said.

"Ok then I'll give you 10 seconds to run caky." Yuki said and Naruto ran off. They continue to play till the end of the day. They continue to meet up with each other and talk and play around, sometimes they even trained together till finally 2 years had passed, they were both now 7 and the academy began. Naruto had just woken up and went to take a shower after he changed into his clothes. He was now wearing grey ninja pants with a black long sleeve shirt that was high collar and it went a little past his chin. After he changed he went to go make breakfast. After he was done he left his house to see Yuki outside. She was wearing a white skirt with black stockings with a red hoodie. "Hey there caky are you ready for our first day at the academy." Yuki asked.

"Yeah I am and didn't I tell you to stop calling me that." Naruto asked in an annoyed tone.

"Yeah you did but I decided not to listen since you'll always be my caky." Yuki said as she poke Naruto's cheek. Naruto blushed at her calling him her caky and Yuki noticed this and giggled a little. They then began to walk to the academy and chatted on their way there. Once they arrived at their classroom they saw a boy they knew, it was Sasuke Uchiha. They both never talked to him because he seemed to be addicted to his brother and it weirded them out. They both then took a seat at the back of the classroom and began to talk till they'll teacher arrived. The teacher began to call everyone's name and after he began to teach about the history of the village. After all the kids went outside to spar. All the students then began to fight as they were called up until finally it was Naruto's turn.

"Well Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha come up." The teacher said, also known as Iruka. Both Naruto and Sasuke walked up. When they did, there were two groups of fangirls, one for Naruto and one for Sasuke. Sasuke smirked at Naruto. "You know I heard from my father that you're a strong Uchiha so if I beat you that'll mean that I'm stronger and dad will have to be proud of me." Sasuke said.

"Ok." was all that Naruto said. Iruka then began the fight. Sasuke ran towards Naruto and tried to push him but Naruto side stepped him and kneed Sasuke in the stomach sending him to his knee, Naruto then kicked him in the face sending Sasuke flying. Everyone but Yuki were shocked at how fast the fight ended. It was all over in 7 seconds. Yuki knew this was going to happen since Naruto was a prodigy just like her big brother and Itachi and in fact just like Itachi Naruto could have become a genin this year. But he didn't want to since he wanted to be on a team with Yuki. After Sasuke got help the class went back to the classroom and learned about chakra. After that Naruto and Yuki went home and weeks passed by and then 3 months had passed and the day known as the Uchiha massacre had finally come.

Naruto was sleeping when he heard someone scream. Naruto got up still half asleep but as soon as he got outside he completely woke up. He saw his clanmates dead on the ground and the first thing that came into his mind was Yuki. He began to run as fast he could to Yuki's house and when he finally got there he saw that the door was opened and he rushed inside. When he got inside he saw Yuki's parents on the ground dead. He was about to rush to Yuki's room when he felt a sharp pain in his stomach. He looked down to see a blade inside on his stomach. He then looked up to see Itachi. "Y-Yuki." is all he could say.

"Don't worry she is Shisui's little sister. I couldn't bring myself to kill her. You can rest now, I'm sorry for this." Itachi said as he pulled the sword out and Naruto fell to the ground. Itachi looked at Naruto and saw that he had awakened his 1 tomoe sharingan. Naruto saw the light fate away as he woke up in a wet place. He stood up wondering if was in the afterlife. He then saw a cage and began to walk towards it until he saw two red eyes looking at him. "UCHIHA TRASH GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" It screamed out. Naruto then woke up to see a crying Yuki over him. "Yuki please don't cry." Naruto said in a low voice.

"NARUTO!" she screamed out as she hugged him tightly. "Please don't scare me like that again. First I lost Shisui and then I noticed my parents dead a few minutes ago and I began to cry a- and then I saw you laying in the ground covered in blood. I can't lose you, you're the one person I can't lose. I love my family but you've been there for me so many times and I just can't lose you." Yuki said while crying in Naruto's arms. Naruto felt pain in his chest seeing her cry, he wanted to protect her and keep her happy. "I'm sorry for worrying you. I won't ever leave you that's a promise. I'll always be by your side no matter what you decide to do in life I'll be there with you." Naruto said.

The night went by and the hokage with some anbu came and took all the dead bodies and buried them. Naruto spent the night with Yuki because she was scared of sleeping by herself. Days went by and days then turned into weeks which turned into months which turn into years. Naruto and Yuki keep on sharing the same bed since Yuki after a week of sharing the same bed with Naruto couldn't sleep without him. She just always felt safe when they slept on the same bed together. Over time they both began to have feelings for each other past friends. Naruto and Yuki began to train a lot more but Naruto trained a lot harder. Yuki was now low chunin level and she had awakened her sharingan the night her parents died. She had the three tomoe sharingan after years of hard work and Naruto also had the three tomoe sharingan. Naruto was a high chunin level. He had three chakra natures which were fire,wind and lighting. While Yuki had 2 chakra natures which were fire and lighting. Naruto and Yuki both knew that Sasuke had survived as well but they didn't talk to him. This was because Yuki hated him because his brother had killed the whole clan and Naruto hated him because his brother had killed Yuki's family. After the years had passed it was now it was finally time for the genin exams.

Also I'm sorry if this chapter seems rushed, this is the prologue and I just wanted to get it over with in one chapter. The chapters coming out next after this won't be rushed and I'll be updating this fanfic 2 times a week. This story will be maybe around 70 chapters, along with almost or passing 10k words for each chapter. And I plan on finishing this fanfic before the end of summer.
