"Well, Ladybug, if you won't tell us whether you and Cat noir are dating, how about this? Who is the person you are best friends with? After Cat noir." Nadia Chamack inquired.
"Um…" Ladybug hesitated for a moment, whether considering to say this. "Marinette." she beamed innocently.
"The Dupain Cheng? Do you know her outside or inside your secret identity?" Nadia asked, eyes raised intently.
"Yes. I know her in both. We are childhood friends, and she's amazing. Also, I know her as Ladybug too. In fact, she saved me once." Ladybug grinned.
Cat noir gasped. "I've heard of her too. She's pretty cool." He interjected.
"Yeah." Ladybug chuckled. "Really cool."
Ladybug was doing this so Lila and her other enemies would think twice about being mean to her. Everyone LOVED Ladybug. If Ladybug loved Marinette, everyone would too.
An hour later, the interview was over.
"Tikki, spots off."
"Marinette! Why did you—"
"Don't worry, Tikki!" Marinette chuckled. "It'll all be fine. Plus, as a bonus, now everyone will love me as Marinette as well as Ladybug".
"Uh—" Tikki sighed uneasily.
