Alex Rider: Operation Far, Far Away
Author's Note

Hi there, you lovely reader you! I'm so glad that you decided to take a look at my Alex Rider/ Star Wars: The Clone Wars Crossover, Alex Rider: Operation Far, Far Away! My name is Deerpelt. I like to come up with alternate universes and crossover ideas, though most of the time, I don't write them down. This is one of the rare occasions that I have. Just a few quick things to note before you start reading my fanfiction.

1. I tried to keep the characters as in-character as possible, but, unfortunately, I am neither Dave Foloni nor Anthony Horowitz, so some of the things that the characters say or do may not come across as what they'd do in universe. However, as stated above, I will try my hardest to keep them true to their creators.

2. This story take place after the Alex Rider book Never Say Die, but before Nightshade. There are slight spoilers for the other books in the series, the most major being for Never Say Die (Or Scorpia Rising, either way, it's a spoiler), but nothing too horrible. Just wanted to put that out there.

3. It also starts just before The Clone Wars episode Holocron Heist (S2 E1) and I will be adding Alex in actual episodes of the series. That means that there will be MAJOR spoilers for the Star Wars: The Clone Wars universe.

4. Please note that I have already made a list of episodes that Alex will be appearing in. I'm very sorry if your favorite episode didn't make it in, but I'm trying to keep it so that it makes sense for Alex to appear in an episode, instead of just chucking him in all of them. The episodes are also in chronological order, not season order. (A list of episodes in chronological order can be found here: news/star-wars-the-clone-wars-chronological-episodeorder)

5. The chapters are told in third-person limited narrative, where we only have full knowledge of one character's thoughts and can only know events that character is privy to. In this instance, it's Alex. If Alex isn't in a specific scene, even if it's in the episode, then I didn't write it out. However, this does open up the narrative for more interesting interactions that we may have missed while with another character in the episode. (Ex: there are no Cad Bane scenes in my Holocron Heist chapter because Alex wouldn't be in them. However, we get a few fun scenes of Alex in the Archives with Ashoka). However, there are a few small scenes here and there told from another person's perspective for a brief moment.

6. In this universe of Alex Rider, Star Wars isn't a thing (shocking isn't it? No Star Wars!), so Alex knows nothing about it. There are no movies or anything, so it's all new to him.

7. I am not British. I have tried my hardest, but I am truly sorry if Alex says something no British person would say.

That's it. Sorry about the long explanations, but I wanted to be thorough. I really hope you enjoy my fanfiction, Alex Rider: Operation Far Far Away.

Oh! And May the Force Be with You! 😊
