Many years ago, in the year of 2006, an inventor by the name of Rikki Gaku worked with a company known as COG, or Corporation of Ordinance Guardians. Working in tandem with each other, they came out with the first device of its kind ; The Gadget System. However, after a series of tragedies, the Gadget System was reportedly destroyed and the project cancelled. Rikki went missing, most likely due to grief from his project being closed, and COG moved on as a weapons development company for Japan.

However, in the year of 2021, a dark force emerged from the ashes of the Gadget Project. A strange group of cybernetic monsters, known to the public as the Kinzoku, seemingly seek to destroy all of society as we know it. However, a young man by the name of Rikki Kohei, stands against them! Using the creations of his father, Kohei promises to face down the monsters... As Kamen Rider Gadget!
