What kind of challenge is it?
Well, a fanfiction challenge for sure, but it's hard to explain.
I want you non-canon shippers out there to create a story that is not based on the canon timeline, self-inserts are welcome as well, too, if you wish them to be. But the ships can be non canon but only on Harry's side. Only certain Harry ships will be allowed, no slash or femslash ships.
The non-canon Harry ships will be allow are:
Harry James Potter/Tracey Nicola Davies.
The reason why Tracey is allowed is because she basically looks like an identical opposite sex twin to Harry, but distant blood relation, like a 4th cousin or something.
Harry James Potter/Astoria Nicole Greengrass
The reason for Astoria is because Daphne seems a little too mature for Harry, and I don't think blondes are his thing especially after the first meeting with Draco would in-fact turn Harry off of all blondes as friends even blonde girls that have similar hair color to that of Draco Malfoy.
Harry James Potter/Delphini Bellatrix Riddle
Rather than most challenges I want to you to change the birth date of Delphini or Delphi to match around Harry's birth and not only that rather than Harry becoming dark and supporting dark arts, I want you to change Delphini's opinion by being shown love from everybody who meets her. If she has to be evil, then don't bother writing the ship. Sorry I want her to become a light aligned witch. Parents remain the same of course.
Also if you change Ginny ship to single or your self-inserted ship, you mustn't pair Ginny with any other normal character unless the names match up. Ginny's ship has to be a self-inserted ship, meaning (your self-insert character name/Ginny) no ifs ands or butts about it or she dies during the chamber incident, it's your choice.
