Aloha I decided to make a small collection of little one-shots in this fanfiction because I do not want to spam the channel? Side? Whatever the term is in English, I don't even know it in my own language :D

So I hope you like it.

Oh and yes: The Characters are not mine, otherwise, the show would not have ended as it did.

The question

Time: after the show

Characters: Bobby /Alex

Genre: Romance

Bobby stirred and turned in bed. He reached out for the warm body next to him but found nothing. Slowly he opened his eyes. Her side of the bed was empty and cold. Bobby moaned and checked the time. 4:30 in the morning. He did not know what it was that woke him up. Maybe it was the unknown noise in their new house. With Alex's promotion to lieutenant and the success of his first book, they were able to afford this new little home.

He turned onto his back again and closed his eyes to catch some more sleep. He woke up to the noise of soft feet coming towards the bed and the silent rustling of the sheets. Instantly he turned to his side reaching for Alex and drawing her close to him. He kissed her forehead and buried his nose in her slightly damp hair inhaling the citrus smell from her shampoo.

"Did you shower because you don't want me to smell the aftershave of the dozen men you've been dancing with?" he asked.

She giggled, "Dozen? More like hundred."

He lifted her head slightly and kissed her gently.

He had never considered himself a jealous person but she was his now although he knew she was just joking he didn't like it.

His mind traveled back to the first few weeks of their new relationship. They went to a bar after work and he had to go outside to take a phone call from Donny. When he came back in he saw that guy standing next to Alex obviously flirting. Since she stood with her back to him he could not know if she flirted back but the rush of jealousy he felt made him act anyway. He went over in between them and without looking at the guy he kissed her senseless. He could tell that she had problems standing straight after that kiss. The guy, however, had vanished into thin air.

And when they went home that night he had made it perfectly clear that she now belonged to him. When he saw her raised eyebrow to this comment he had made it clear again without any words this time.

Best night ever! For both of them.

Of cause he knew, he would never own her but he really liked the thought of it.

"So, how is the future bride?"

Alex yawned and nuzzled her face to his neck closing her eyes: "Drunk and safe at the home of her parents."

She had been to the Bachelorette party of her friend Elliot. He had been to the party of Elliot's future husband JD last week and it had been the first time in a million years that he had been that drunk. Bobby had slept in the bathtub. He remembered Alex's laughter when she found him the next morning and his headache but not how and why he got in there.

"Good thing the wedding is not before next week." He mused.

"Uhu." Alex agreed already half asleep.

He ginned: "Will you marry me?" he whispered. He had asked her this question about three times in the last few weeks, always when she was asleep, and in her sleep, she responded with a yes. Bobby was not confident enough to ask her while she was awake, not yet but soon.

"Next time you ask me that, you better be on your knees offering me that ring you keep hiding in the dark blue suit."

He froze. For a moment he did not know what to say. "How do you know about the ring?" Well, she was with the police after all.

She yawned again: "I took the suit to the dry cleaner when we got the invitation to Elliot's wedding." Then she looked at him. "Or is it for one of your other girlfriends?"

He grinned, "It is for you but it's not in that suit anymore." He reached for her hand and lifted it to his lips. "I brought it to the jeweler yesterday to have it adjusted to your tiny fingers." He kissed her knuckles softly.

She just made a small noise, eyes already closed again.

Oh lucky me, that she is so tired. Bobby thought. She hated it when called her tiny.

He decided to let her sleep now. It was already 5:30 and maybe he would ask her again tomorrow.

Well, until next time :)
