Lps High Ep. 8 Love or Lost
After a horrible day for Pepper her mother knew she was so hurt. But she also knew that Pepper needed a time alone after she feels that way it's her way of feeling better. Pepper did cry on her bed for a while but soon started to be more quiet. She sat up on her bed and looked at her phone for a while. Listening to her list of Rock N Roll and love songs from the 50s really made her feel happy but upset at the same time. She looked at a social media app every pet owned and used all the time. She looked at Sunil on the app, and she scrolled through his pictures and almost everyone she saw he looked sad. After a few hours of waiting for her daughter to calm down her mother decided to go up and see her. She knocked on the door "Pepper? Honey, are you feeling better now sweety?" She asked her. Her mother walked in to see her and Pepper looked at her "Yeah...mom?" She asked softly. Her mother sat beside her and held her hand "What happened Pepper?". Pepper really tried to hide everything but she knew she had to tell her. "Well mom...Penny hurt me today...like always…". Her mother was upset by Penny's actions and her hurting her daughter but Pepper didn't tell her really why she did. Her mother felt big concerns for her daughter because so much has happened to her lately. She held her hand up "You're special Pepper. You will always remember that and I can't see you so unhappy because it makes me sad. Don't worry about Penny honey, you have so much more than she does I promise". She kissed her on the head and left the room to lay down and Pepper laid down to get her own sleep.
The next day Sunil was in P.E. talking to Russell and Vinnie as usual. "Hey, Russell I just remembered I wanted to ask you about what things are going for you about Zoe. You know if you still like her" Sunil said. Russell didn't really like talking about his feelings for Zoe to anyone. "Oh...that yeah, well Sunil I never talk to her because I mean c'mon look at me guys. I'm just not good enough for someone like her…you know" Russell said to them. They were surprised to know Russell thought so little about himself knowing he cares so deeply for others feelings. Vinnie didn't understand it all "Ahhh…cmon Russ you think you're not fitting for Zoe? Her best friend is Pepper Clark man…if that doesn't say Zoe has strange relationships I don't know what will bro". Sunil agreed with Vinnie, Russell shouldn't feel that way for himself as he tells them not to be the same way. As they continued chatting Zoe came up to them. "Hey guys, do you have a moment?" Zoe asked. They gave her their attention "I mainly need yours Sunil i need to talk with you for a second". Even when Zoe wasn't talking to him Russell had his eyes on her. He thought she was the most beautiful and kind girl in the school. She turned to him for a second and he just stopped working right. As Sunil began to walk with her Zoe gave Russell a small wave and Russell said quietly "Bye Zoe…".
Sunil and Zoe walked outside the Gym to talk. "So, what is it Zoe?" He asked. "Sunil...it's Pepper, something happened to her yesterday". Sunil hadn't heard anything about it which was unusual for his school. He wondered what happened and Zoe began to explain "It's Penny Ling Sunil...yesterday she hurt Pepper...she tried to kill her...she was bruised and had a small scar across her face. If i didn't come back Pepper would be in a hospital…" she said to him. "What?! Why?" He asked "Because she helped you...in history with that assignment". Sunil felt like he made this happen but he knew how to deal with it. He made a promise to talk to Pepper after school for Zoe and he thought it was right. As he walked back in he didn't feel like he shouldn't take to his friends for the moment, he needed to be calm. He sat down during the rest of class watching all the other pets play. As soon as the bell ended Sunil spent no time waiting, talking and walking slowly and went straight to Penny who was in art now. Penny was outside the class waiting to see Sunil and he walked straight to her. "Hey babe, how are you…" Sunil stopped at her "I'm done Penny!". Penny stood there confused "Done with me? Why?!" Sunil yelled "You know what you did was wrong! To Pepper…you hurt and almost killed her, your sick Penny ". "Excuse me you're seriously defending that flat old tire Sunil? This is a joke you're crazy and stupidenough to think that way". "You're wrong Penny, you're sick and you're an awful person that only cares about themself. All I've done this past week is make you happy but you took it too far. How could i ever be with someone so awful and rude as you and how could anyone find you as their soulmate" Sunil said. Penny started to feel a bit hurt but she didn't let it happen she laughed at him think he was pathetic and said one last thing "Ugh...fine you wanna waste your time with that protecting stupid skunk go ahead Sunny it's your fuckin funeral because she can never take care of herself" Penny walked off as she always would when she argued with anyone. Sunil walked off because he knew Penny didn't care about his feelings and she was just the pet for him anymore. He walked into the bathroom and he was lucky it was empty because he honestly wanted to cry. He really liked Penny and for her to treat him like she did was heartbreaking but it was right what he did. He did cry about how it was over and Fred appeared beside him putting his hand over his shoulder. Sunil looked up at him, "Is what i did right for me, Fred?" He asked. "A better question for that is it wrong to lose someone for being a good person because you tell me". Sunil thought about it for a bit and Fred made sense if he didn't do what he just did it would've just made him as sick as Penny. "Did you want this to happen?" Sunil said. Fred looked down "I wanted the same thing you wanted Sunil. We both want the right thing to do. Sure losing someone you tried so hard for and just like that they either change you or leave you". Sunil only knew her for at least a week and a half but it felt like forever. Fred reminded Sunil that no matter how long it takes if you are the nicest person you could ever be you will find someone one day.
