Author's note 1:
I'm just a guy who likes FNAF and wants to create an AU by himself.
I don't know how I came up with this idea, but this is not my first account so it will probably be used to publish shitty stories.
Even though this is technically a crossover between dimensions…
Five night at Freddy's: Into the FNAF verse?
Dunno, and don't care.
Enjoy!
I require your assistance in a time of need.
Perhaps when you receive this, you will be confused on who I am, but I will be already dead by then.
It's me, William Afton.
I recently discovered that my father had been a researcher, but his time in this building left a uncleanable mark on him. Thus pushing him away from the research and reaching my mother, who he fell in love with when he was just an apprentice.
When he was on the bridge between life and death, stuck on the bed of our house, he gave me a letter, a book and some instructions.
"You need help to destroy that place…" He said. "…I recently discovered that the situation is out of hand and if not stopped IT will reach us in no time."
I was confused, but my mother and the other people around us probed me to exit the room and to not listen to him. He was clearly not lucid.
But I did… only not at one hundred percent.
The book he gave me talked about a structure in north Greenland, some coordinates clearly directed at said structure.
The letter simply contained some words about his presence in my life over the years: how he loved me and was sad to leave me. I thought there were some pleas for forgiveness behind those lines, but there was nothing wrong about his behavior so I couldn't quite place the meaning of the letter.
The content of the book hunted me for days, until I gave in and decided to take a flight to Greenland. My mother and other family members of course questioned my unexpected decision for a simple "vacation", but I found a good excuse to placate them to buy some time.
I had enough money and resources thankfully, I finished university and was very prepared in subjects such as maths or physics. Although I still had to find a proper job to begin with.
I finally managed to reach an airplane a month later, and as I watched my home disappear in the distance, I wondered what my father was truly scared of.
I got help from some fishermen, they were good people. Too good for this world.
I was lucky though, as I walked on the thick snow I wandered around with no storm to block my advance.
I walked and walked, until I finally saw something in the distance…
Destroy it, raise no further questions.
Kill them. Kill them all.
William Afton walked around the halls of the building, a flashlight in his hand and a backpack on his shoulder.
He just sent the email to his friend back home, now all he had to do was try finding the exit or die trying.
"The latter seems more logical, buddy." William ignored the voice that spoke that, and just decided to proceed forward.
During his exploration, he found many dangers. The structure was constructed to study various artifacts, one of these seemingly was a united consciousness of some sort of Hive mind. It was accidently releases and wiped out the entire corporation by infecting the researchers and adding them to the Hive mind.
He too was infected, but instead of joining the Hive mind, the other personality who was supposed to replace him became trapped in the deepest part of his mind.
And now he was annoying him…
"Oh, it could have gone worse, ya know. You could've become a zombie or a ghost trapped inside a robot…" The voice stopped. "…although it would be plausible with all the horror movies you have stored inside your mind."
"Shut up, Clarence." Somehow, the other personality chose his name from the "It's a Wonderful Life" movie title. Something he just couldn't understand in its entirety.
"Hey! I liked that movie and decided to choose the name of my favourite character as my own nomenclature. Got a problem with that Afton? Besides, I am something of a guardian angel!" Clarence's voice was clearly beginning to take a dark tone.
He shook his head.
"I don't, we've been stuck together for hours while trying to avoid your brothers. Despite all what you've said, I realized that we share in common much more than we both think…" He let the phrase hang on for a few more moments. "…and I will try to get us both out of here alive. You want to see the world after all, right?"
"I-I-" His other seemed conflicted but in the end he sighed. "I want to live, William."
William opened his mouth to answer. "Oh, no, no, no! One of my brothers is near, quick! Turn right and run!"
He did not waste time in complying as footsteps echoed behind him along with a snarl.
"Turn left and then left again!" Another turn, more threating snarls coming behind him as the volume increased, signaling Clarence's brothers slowly reaching him.
He saw a card on a wall: "Generator". It said.
A good spot to barricade himself in for a while, he quickly assumed.
But the surprise was in not finding anything to block the door, no chests or crates to use. Neither chairs or tables.
It was a dead end, with just a generator.
He turned around and gaped. Clarence's brothers were born from the "virus", they were nude in appearance, bloodied with some parts of their skin cut off.
This one in particular, even had a pipe in his hand to use against William.
Afton did not have time to react as this monstrosity crashed against him, knocking him back-
-Just into the generator.
Pain, pain like he never felt it. And along with his screams, Clarence screamed too.
Then… it was all over.
He slowly closed his eyes, and a presence joined him, wrapping around his mind like a blanket before shutting down along him.
Author's note 2:
Ehhh, forced and kinda not explained enough.
But just now that this is another universe with another Afton and I thought: "What would a non-killer William Afton react to the animatronics and to the idea of him killing his possible children?"
This is mainly a story focused on sharpening my English, so don't expect it to be that good.
But I guess that the story should be interesting enough for you readers…
(I wonder if you guys can know what has inspired me to create the other-Afton's story. I'll give you a hint: it's a horror game)
(I decided to change the name of William's companion, because I liked Clarence more too since I took it from the horror game I mentioned above)
