Peter sighed as he made his way through the semi quiet streets of New York City, with only the noises of your typical late-night brawls and illegal teenage partying. Describing today as anything but disastrous would be the understatement of the century. He of course woke up late for school after a late-night patrol, and Aunt May gave him the biggest lecture of his life on curfews and responsibility as both student and Spider man. After that it just progressively worse from there, Flash was being more of a dick than usual, which just made his whole school day unbearable despite Ned and MJ's comforting attempts. Of course, then there was the cherry on top, Mr. Stark finally allowed him to go into a full-fledged training session with all the other Avengers. Then as if on schedule Parker luck read its ugly head, and ruined everything.

He quickly ducked into a nearby alleyway and slowly sat on the ground with this back against the brick wall and put his head into his hands as trying to suppress the memory and the words Mr. Stark had said.

"You will never be an avenger"

Of course, like the coward that he was Peter just ran away from the situation after he said those words, it wasn't like it was done purposefully, but of course his overloaded brain had to come up with all these different scenarios and cause him to doubt the strategy of his planning.

"I'm such a screw up" Peter whispered as he dug his fingers into his head.

With another sigh, Peter took his hands from his face, revealing red shot eyes from trying to hold in the tears he desperately wanted to shed. He quickly opened up his backpack to take the mask from his first original spiderman costume, that he made so long before Tony Stark ever entered his life. As he ran from the compound, Peter quickly ditched the suit that Mr. Stark made for him, under the assumption he was going to take it away again. It seemed better to just leave it before it could happen a second time.

"Some superhero I'm turning out to be, more of a nuisance than anything else"

Suddenly his head went straight up as he felt the familiar tingling coming from the back of his skull. He turned his head to the left, where the source seemed to be coming from. Peter quickly got up and started sprinting towards the direction of the danger, deciding against suiting up before he had a chance to see what the situation was.

When he arrived to the point where his senses told him where the immediate danger is, Peter just looked confused as there was no one in the vicinity of the area. He couldn't even hear anything besides, the gust of wind.

"This thing must be broken" he said scratching his head, as he turned around to start walking back.

Peter's eyes widened as he felt a huge gust of wind surrounding him, and when turned around his mouth dropped a bit as he saw a huge multi light vortex appearing.

"Dr. Who?" Peter asked, being reminded of similar vortexes in the show.

Suddenly Peter's feet unwillingly started being dragged towards the vortex.

"Oh no"

Quickly Peter turned around and started to run as he used his web shooters to try and climb up to the roofs, but he was immediately brought to the ground chest first causing his backpack to fly off and sent some of his belongings scattering about the ground.

As he was being dragged off, Peter barely managed to grab a hold of his backpack before he was flung into the vortex, as it closed off.

The only remnants that were left from Peter's backpack were his wallet and his phone that was currently ringing from an incoming call from Tony Stark.

Author's Note

Ever since I've seen Into the Spider Verse, I really waned to put MCU Spider man in it, aka Tom Holland Version. However, this story will deviate away in many ways from the film, but the nature still very much the same as much of this will be told through Peter's eyes. Though of course there will be various POVs throughout as wlel. I really hope this prologue is interesting, I promise next chapter will be better, as Peter makes his way into a strange world, not so different than his own So let me know what you think so far, and if anyone Is interested in making a cover design, then go ahead and DM me for details.
