Friday, December 31st, 2027, New York City, Bailey's home

Mackynzie Marie and Micah Mitchell, 15, were on break from yelled for their mother. "Mom! Mic and I are heading to the ball drop with Addie and Aydenn!"
Bailey walked over to her son and daughter. "Does your uncle know Addie and Aydenn are going to? He doesn't want Aydenn out. Since what he did at school before break, remember?"
Micah groaned. "Oh! Come on, Mom! I can't be the only boy there!"
Bailey sighed. "I wish you could have met your dad...These kind of things he could have a say in too..." She sniffed. "Mack, you look just like him. Your blonde hair."
Mackynzie looked at her. "I'm sorry, Mom. Can we still go?"
Bailey nodded. "Yes, you can. Be careful."
Apartment Complex, New York City
Rayne Elizabeth, 14, was heading to Time Square with her brother, Watson, and sisters, Valentina and Savannah. She pulled her jacket close to her and picked up Savannah. "You guys ready to see the ball drop?"
Savannah clapped her hands together. "Yeah! Is Dad and Mom coming?"
Rayne shook her head. "No, Sav, they are home with Izzy."
Savannah frowned.
Rayne smiled. "Come on, Sav! Get excited! You'll love it!"
Savannah smiled. "Okay!"
Mackynzie and Micah were on the other side with Adaylynn and Aydenn.
Addie looked at her cousin. "So, have you found out who your dad is, Mack?"
Mackynzie shook her head. "I want too. But, it will upset my mom. She said she hasn't seen him in 15 years. She thinks he's like you know, dead..."
Addie's eyes went wide. "Dead? For real?"
Mackynzie nodded. "Yeah. You don't see the guy in 15 years. What do you expect?"
Addie sighed. "True."
Bailey rushed over. "Mic, you forgot your inhaler."
Micah nodded. "Thanks, Mom."
Bailey smiled. "Have fun guys. Be careful." She headed inside her apartment building and then saw someone who looked exactly like Cody, but he couldn't be him. He had darker hair, but that face looks so much like him. She pulled her jacket close to her and rushed behind the wall and watched. He had a woman with him and a young girl with them, along with a boy and another girl.
Jughead kissed her head. "Be careful, Rayne. I mean it. Okay?"
Rayne smiled. "Okay, I love you, Dad." She hugged Betty. "Bye, Mom."
Betty smiled. "I love you, sweetie."
Bailey just watched, trying to figure out if it was him. But it couldn't be him. It wasn't him. He had a different name! She hid behind the wall when she thought she was almost caught.
Jughead smiled at Betty. "I'll be right back. Okay? I gotta go get my keys. I think I dropped them." He headed to where Bailey was. He saw her. For the first time in 15 years. He took a deep breath. He cleared his throat.
"Bailey?"
Bailey's eyes eyes went wide. That voice. It was him! She came out from behind the wall and came down the stairs. There he was. "Cody?" Her eyes were now filled with tears.
Cody sighed. "Actually, it's Jug now, but yeah. It's me. What are you doing here?"
Bailey's eyes just stayed wide. "Me? How about you?! Where the hell were you for the last 15 fucking years?! I..." She stopped herself. He walked upstairs. She didn't want to know anymore. It would hurt her.
"Bailey..."
Bailey wiped her now tearful eyes. "You just left. You left your brother, mother...friends and especially, me..." She let tears fall down her face. "I had found out I was pregnant in June of 2011, and...I..."
Jughead's eyes went wide. "You were pregnant?"
Bailey nodded. "Yeah. I...I had a baby girl and a baby boy. They're not babies anymore..."
Jughead just couldn't believe it. He was a dad without even knowing it. "You had twins?"
Bailey nodded. "Yeah. Mackynzie and Micah."
Jughead sighed. "Bailey...I...I can't say that I was sorry because I don't deserve it..."
Bailey nodded. She glared at him. "You don't deserve it, you're right. You left me. I loved you. I want you to leave."
Jughead sighed. "I wish I could. But, I just moved here from Riverdale with my family. I'm Penthouse 534."
Bailey's eyes went wide. "I'm Penthouse 539...I..." She ran up the stairs.
Jughead just started at her as she ran up the stairs. "Bails..."
Betty saw Jughead still on the stairs. "Jug? Did you find the keys?"
Cody was blacking out.
Betty repeated herself. "Jug?"
Jughead nodded. "Yeah?"
Betty smiled. "Did you find the keys?"
Jughead nodded as he handed her the keys. "Yes here you go..."
Betty smiled. "You ready for dinner?" She saw the look on his face. "Honey, are you okay?"
Jughead nodded. "Yeah. Yeah. I'm fine. Let's go."
As Jughead and Betty went out to dinner, Mackynzie, her brother, Micah, and their cousins were out in Time Square, where Rayne, Watson and Savannah and Valentina were, and they ran into each other. Rayne bumped into Mackynzie by accident.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!"
Mackynzie smiled. "Oh, it's totally cool. I'm fine."
Rayne nodded. "I'm Rayne Jones." She looked at her sisters, and brother. "This Watson, Valentina and Savannah, my brother and sisters. How about you?"
Mackynzie smiled. "Mackynzie Pickett." She looked at her brother and cousins. "This my twin brother, Micah, and our twin cousins Addie and Aydenn."
Rayne smiled. "Nice to meet you all. We just moved here with our parents. We don't know our way around much yet."
Mackynzie laughed. "Well, we have lived here for years. I don't think there's any problems if we showed you around after the ball drops. We told our parents we would be home by 1."
Rayne laughed. "Oh, I wish I could stay out that late, but I have to be home after the ball drops. Anna can't stay out that late. My parents would freak."
Mackynzie sighed. "How about tomorrow?"
Rayne nodded. "I don't think my mom and dad would have a problem with it."
Rayne nodded. "What about your mom and dad?"
Micah sighed. "Sadly, we haven't met him. We don't know who he is."
Rayne sighed. "Oh, I'm sorry..."
Mackynzie shrugged her shoulders. "It's totally fine. I guess we never meet. My mom said his name was Cody Martin, but he had changed his name to Jughead Jones or something. We haven't told our room that we know..."
Rayne's eyes went wide. "That's our dad!"
Mackynzie's eyes went wide. "Really? He...He had a family and didn't even know about us?"
Rayne shrugged her shoulders. "He never mentioned you at all...Maybe he never knew?"
Mackynzie's eyes went wide. "Oh my God..." She looked at her brother. "We have to talk to Mom when we get home."
Micah nodded. "Yeah. I wanna know too. I can't believe he changed his name and all of that! I wonder why..."
Rayne sighed. "I feel like I don't know my dad now."
Watson nodded. "Me too, sister."
Soon the clock went to midnight and the ball dropped.
This year will be one crazy one. Mackynzie, Micah, Rayne, Watson, Valentina and Savannah are siblings and their adventure is just beginning.
