Michelangelo high fived Mondo both muants having a grin on their faces.
"Alright guys it's time to head back. It's a few hours till Sunset and I don't know about any of you but I would like to get some sleep before Training".
"Right". Mikey rubbed the back of his head. "Mondo want to race back to the entrance of our lair?".
"You know me all to well bro!!!".
Leonardo opened his mouth to say somthing but Mikey took off with his new friend before the Leader could say a word.
"Ok" Leonardo blinked. "Guess will meet you back at the Lair". Leonardo stated. "C'mon guys let's head home".
Donnie and Raph exchanged looks before following their Leader back to the Shell Razor Casey at their tails, the ride home was silent, the 3 Turtles in their own mind. Trying their best not to notice the 4th seat empty.
They reached the entrance to the sewers just as Mikey and Mondo did a grin on Mikeys features as he stepped onto the board prompting it to fly into his hands.
"Nice race Mondo! You almost had me beat! Will have to race again sometime!".
"How about tommrow?". Mondo asked licking his eyeball. "We could meet up same time tommrow night!".
"Sorry Mondo". Raphael cut in. "But Mikey has night shift with us tommrow night".
"We could do it before Training". Mikey piped in not noticing the glare he got from his brothers. "Right when the Sunsets. Meet here at the same spot?".
"You got it!". Mondo stated happily. The two fist bumped somthing that Mikey usually only did with his brothers.
Raphael gritted his teeth jumping down the Manhole without a word, followed by Leo. And then Donnie who glanced at Mikey, the Turtle waved goodbye to his friend, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
He followed the Genius turtle into the Manhole noticing his brothers were slightly ahead of him, yelling at them to wait up Mikey jumped on his Skateboard to catch up. Once he was with the group he stepped on it, catching his board in mid air.
"Mondo is pretty cool isen't he guy's?".
"Cool wouldn't be the word I would use". Raphael grumbled.
"More like annoying". Donnie stated. Trying to ignore the way Mikeys face fell, a hint of anger in the Orange Turtles eyes.
"Come on guys don't be like that". Leonardo scolded. "This is Mikeys new friend and we should be supportive".
"Thanks Leo!!"
"Even if that eyeball thing is the most gross thing ever". Leo mumbled under his breath.
"Whats wrong with you guy's?!?". Mikey barked glaring at his brothers as he stopped walking. "Hes a cool guy! Why are you talking about him like that! He did nothing to you guys!".
"Just because someone you meet helps you dosen't make him your friend!". Raphael scoffed. "You barley know this Gecko and you 2 act like good friends!".
"Whats wrong with me having friends?!?". Mikey barked.
"Nothing Mikey". Leonardo stated trying to calm down his little brother. "Were just saying it takes time to develop a friendship and maybe you like Mondo more then he likes you".
"Oh your one to talk Leo!". Mikey barked. "You still try to befriend a girl who hates your guts".
"Now that's going to far!". Raphael stated walking in front of Leo.
"Oh save it Raph!". Mikey glared at his older brother
"I finally find someone to hang with since you 3 never want to do anything with me! And you have a problem with it!".
"Mikey". Donnie walked up to Mikey reaching for him. "We didn't mean..".
"Save it Donnie!". Mikey barked glaring at his brothers. "I made a friend someone who likes to spend time with me! I tried hanging with you guys. You just disregard me! Sorry I dont want to wait around until you have time for me!".
Mikey started walking away his Skateboard in hand before stopping.
"You know I tried hanging with you 3, you pushed me to the side and you were to busy. You don't want me to have friend, and you don't want me around. Come talk to me when you have made up your mind".
The 3 brother's remained quiet as Mikey Skateboarded towards their Lair the sound of Mikeys Skateboard echoing throughout the Sewers.
