Journey To The Seven Arcs

Hello and welcome to another experimental fanfic of Tonikaku Kawaii, in which a new inspiration popped into my head in an unexpected way, and decided to try this out to see if this would attract readers and fans of this series…

While my other Tonikaku Kawaii fic, Curiosity, is currently ongoing, a thought hit me as I thought of making a T-rated fic as a way to show that I can also make fics that do not rely on lemons, and as I re-watch the anime, it showed that Nasa would try any kind of jobs just to make ends meet given that he is married to Tsukasa.

While scanning Google, I came across a TV series which featured a character who became a SUPERHERO with a motif of a camera, which is modeled after a Blackbird Fly 135 Twin-lens Reflex Camera, and after checking it out, an idea popped into my head as I thought of having Nasa undergo an adventure-type story…

This would be my first Tonikaku Kawaii fic that would incorporate the following genres:

- Drama

- Adventure/action

- Superhero

While Nasa will be the central figure, Tsukasa will play an important role here, and here I would get to see if the reception would be good as this would be my first attempt to do a fic beside romance and the like that were seen in the manga and anime.

Given that very few characters appeared in the anime, I will have to improvise on how to create characters that would come into conflict with the main characters, especially as this involve both Nasa and Tsukasa.

As you guessed it, this fic is inspired by the 2009 TV drama, Kamen Rider Decade, and watching it, it gave me ideas to make a story about Nasa and Tsukasa traveling to DIFFERENT WORLDS, and meeting DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

Another source of inspiration of this fic came in the middle of last month, in which I was scrolling the Wikipedia page and came across an entry called Voyagers!, a 1982-1983 American TV series, which is about a time traveler who seeks the help of a boy to correct any anomalies of time and history. Out of curiosity I watched it and became intrigued, as the characters went to different time periods to correct any situation that went wrong.

The 20-episode series was quite a cliffhanger as it was not green-lit for a second season.

However, rather than using the past Kamen Riders of the 2000s, I will come up with original characters, for a reason.

The third and pivotal inspiration comes from the fact that Tonikaku Kawaii is animated by Seven Arcs, and after checking out this studio, I found out that it also produced anime of various manga and the like.

Hence, as the fic's title imply, Nasa and Tsukasa will be traveling to different worlds based on the worlds that are based on the series that Seven Arcs animated.

This includes:

- Arte

- Inukami

- Trinity Seven

- Nanoha series

Given that this would be my first attempt, expect that this fic might last at least 20 chapters, but it would depend on the reception and reviews.

Well then, read on and enjoy!

Ch. 1: Atarashī ie o sagasu

The scene shifts at the Arisugawa Bathhouse where Kaname Arisugawa and Tsukasa Yuzaki are working together to entice patrons to try out the Bathhouse, as Kaname managed to upgrade the place slightly to make the Bathhouse look enticing, in a way to attract customers, and suggested to Tsukasa to work part-time as a way to earn money due to her and Nasa being married.

Though Tsukasa politely declined, she was convinced otherwise as Kaname said that if Tsukasa has a means to earn, then Nasa won't be pressured to find a part-time job that's too demanding of him, which Tsukasa slowly gets the logic, though Kaname partially felt that Tsukasa's cuteness might attract potential customers.

This ploy slowly worked as Tsukasa was outside the Bathhouse and holding a placard with the name of the Bathhouse, and a group of customers were slowly enticed by her cuteness which made them decide to ask her about the rental fee of the Bathhouse.

"Excuse me…"

"Did the sign says bathhouse?"

"Is it near here?"

"Can we use it?"

"And the price is reasonable?"

"Can it accommodate us?"

"We might consider using it…"

"Can we…?"

Kaname grinned as her plan worked, as the customers are now using Tsukasa as a reason for them to come here and use the Bathhouse to bathe.

As the customers went inside, things went well and later in the day Kaname and Tsukasa are having a break, and there the former is looking forward to earning a lot of money, while the latter wondered how her husband is doing.

Suddenly, Aya came and looked around to make sure that no one else is here, and there she whispered to Kaname and Tsukasa about what she overheard from some people dressed like scientists.

Aya said that she overheard them talking about small meteorites may possibly hit Tokyo, and a secret evacuation might be needed to prevent panic, which Tsukasa finds it odd as there was no indication from the news on TV.

Kaname agreed and said that maybe the so-called meteorites might disintegrate before reaching the surface.

"So maybe those scientists you heard are overreacting…"

"And maybe they were panicking…"

"Really?"

"Looks like it."

"Yeah."

"I…"

"So relax."

"And take a break."

"Okay…"

Nasa arrived after leaving early from work, and told the three girls that while on his way here he saw a lot of policemen are conducting an evacuation procedure, which also included Shinjuku and Shibuya, said that he has a feeling that something is up.

Both Kaname and Aya stared in surprise while Tsukasa hugged her husband as she sensed that what Aya said a while ago might be true, and tells him what Aya told her. Nasa thought carefully and said that it is strange that the government didn't make any kind of announcement and it would be a disaster if they announced it at the last minute before a possible disaster strikes.

By then, police came and tells Kaname, Aya, Tsukasa and Nasa that a preventive evacuation is ongoing and they will have come along, and when Nasa asked why, the police representative gave vague answers, which further reinforce Aya and Nasa's suspicions.

About an hour later, small meteorites struck Tokyo, and while it only struck roads and empty lots, the Arisugawa Bathhouse was unfortunate as it was struck and sustained moderate damage.

Kaname and Aya went back there and assess the damage, in which it was quite fortunate that the bathhouse is not too damaged and can still be saved, but the room that Nasa and Tsukasa are staying was beyond repair.

The married teen couple realized that they cannot impose themselves onto the Arisugawa family and volunteered to vacate the premises even though Kaname insists that she could find a place where Nasa and Tsukasa can stay.

When the couple settled at a nearby hostel, Nasa and Tsukasa checked the brochures to see if there is a house they could by at a lower price, even its for rent, as they knew that it would take over two months for the Arisugawa house and bathhouse to be fully repaired.

There the two agreed that they will separately search for an affordable house tomorrow and will meet up back at the hostel, and then compare notes on which place they should go and which house to buy according to their budget.

"Are we in agreement, Tsukasa-chan?"

"Yeah."

"And we would contact each other once we find something affordable."

"Okay."

"Then it's settled."

"You got it, darling."

"Good. Let's rest now."

"Okay."

As Nasa went to work while planning to look for a house that is near his place of work, Tsukasa went to find a house she and her husband could afford, and during the first hours of morning, she is quite disappointed as some of the sellers are taking advantage of the disaster, raising the price in the hopes of attracting the wealthy.

For apartment and condominiums, even the owners are jacking up the rental price as they too are relying on the rich tenants, who are willing to pay high as long as the air conditioning and WiFi are good.

Tsukasa is dismayed as she knows that her husband is already pounced as he is working and then looking for a house he could afford for him and her.

By lunchtime, she is about to take a break and pay a visit to Kaname when she came across a house that is a one-story, and seeing that no one appeared to be around, she decided to take a peek.

Inside, Tsukasa was a bit awestruck as the house, while empty, looked tidy and had the appearance of a studio, and noticed that everything is there, like the sockets for electricity and faucets for water.

She also noted that it is a bit big but enough to have a place to stay, and there she wondered if the owner is here, and further looking around, she finds that despite having no furniture around, and seemingly abandoned, there were no traces of dusts and the like, and this made her wonder if the owner abandoned it because of the evacuation.

"Did the owner really…?"

She then noticed a cupboard and curiously checked it out, where she finds something unusual, as there were items stored there, which are a device that is the size of a belt buckle that resembled a lens of a camera and some blank card-like objects.

By then her smartphone rang and she answered it, where the caller turn out to be Nasa and he informed her that the place he is working was affected by the meteor strikes and hence he has no work to attend to and said that he decided to look for a house.

There Tsukasa told Nasa about her latest finding which surprised him, and asked if she is sure, which she told him the description of the house she is currently in.

"Really?"

"Yup."

"For real?"

"That's right."

"And everything is intact?"

"Yeah. No damage whatsoever."

"Sounds interesting."

"…"

Intrigued, Nasa said that he will head there right away and see it for himself, which Tsukasa tells him to be careful while heading here.

Later, Nasa was awed at seeing the interior of the house, which was a studio-type, and while not quite lavish, it was enough for them to settle here and checked the rest of the house, and conclude that this is ideal and perfect for them to settle in while the Arisugawa house is undergoing repairs.

He then asked his wife if she met the owner so that he could bargain with and settle for the price of this house, which she admitted that this house may have been abandoned, given that there were no furniture present and that the house was left open.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"He left it just like that?"

"Looks like it."

"Must have been spooked…"

"That's what I'm guessing…"

"…"

"…"

Nasa stared blankly at Tsukasa after hearing this and wondered if the owner would come back and reclaim this house, but she said that if the owner intend to, the person would have been here already, and tells Nasa that by now no one is currently owning this place and seeing that no one from the housing authority came here to try mortgaging this house, she suggested that they should live here for the time being.

Nasa thought carefully and realized that Tsukasa has a point, and decided to head back to the Arisugawa house to get their belongings while Tsukasa stayed to guard the house.

As the hours passed, Nasa arrived with a van which he managed to convince the driver and helper to bring the belongings here, ranging from the futons to appliances and even the cabinets for the clothes and important items.

After paying them, the movers left and the couple settled at their seemingly new home, and wondered if this is okay as they seemed to acquired it for free, yet Tsukasa said it is okay since no one came to accost her or Nasa.

"Really?"

"Yup."

"For real?"

"That's right."

"We can stay here just like this?"

"Yeah. If the owner or the housing authority came we'll try to bargain with them."

"I see."

"Then it's settled…"

As Nasa went to the bathroom, Tsukasa then checked the items she found earlier, as she wondered what does these items do, as she never seen anything like that, and wondered if the owner left it by accident.

Above Tsukasa was what appeared to be a portrait that was dangling near the ceiling, and it appeared to be a painting of sorts, which was blank, indicating that it hasn't been touched for a long time.

To Be Continued...

Hope you liked this chapter, and while the beginning is somewhat like the usual trope within the manga and anime, I diverged it a bit by causing an incident which gives a reason for Nasa and Tsukasa to reluctantly move out and look for a new place to stay…

The house appeared to be mysterious as the place looked abandoned yet clean, but then Tsukasa found strange items which will play a part in the upcoming chapters…
