Konoha October 10th
Naruto was born on October 10th but he wasn't born like other kids, he was born in a secluded area outside of Konoha with 3 nurses one being the Third Hokage's wife and 10 anbu around the room, and Narutos father Minato Namekaze, or how the village sees him as the yellow flash of the leaf, and the fourth Hokage.
Minato was said to have decimated an entire army of Iwa shinobi single-handedly only using his most prized jutsu and what makes him the yellow flash, the Hirashin which allows him to teleport to whatever seal was on a kunai, but even without the Hirashin, he was still very fast.
This was a hard day for Minato because his wife had just gone into labor only moments ago, but what made it harder is that the Nine-Tailed Fox was trying to break free of the seal confining him inside Kushina, because what better timing to try and break out then when the seal is weakest, during pregnancy.
Minato had to comfort his wife while also maintaining the seal which was hard even for him to do because there was no being alive that was more powerful than the nine-tails, Kushina was almost done giving birth to her baby boy Naruto.
After a few minutes, Kushina had finally finished giving birth to her one and only son Naruto Uzumaki-Namekaze, Kushina had a look of relief that the pain of giving birth had finally stopped and was holding Naruto to what seemed like seconds when immediately every Anbu and nurse was killed by someone with an orange mask with one hole on his right eye who took Naruto from Kushina and held a kunai directly at Naruto.
Minato knew what his wife wanted and that was to leave his wife and save Naruto from the unknown man Minato had gotten naruto until he heard a sizzling sound coming from his blanket they were exploding tags, Minato quickly took off his sons blanket and rushed out of the building which immediately blew up.
Minato without thinking used his Harishin to get to his house and set naruto in the crib he and his wife worked so hard to make for their son "alright Naruto don't worry il go get your Kaa-san back" Minato said softly with a smile and then he vanished in a flash of yellow.
Minato arrived at where Kushina was strapped with the masked man tinkering with the seal undoubtedly going to unseal the nine-tailed fox and let it rampage through the village however, he was too late to get to his wife and stop the unsealing because of all sorts of red chakra came out of Kushina this was the chakra of the nine-tailed fox or Kyuubi for short.
Minato immediately rushed to Kushina and grabbed her and in seconds they were in their house where Minato laid Kushina near the crib of her son and went back to fight this unknown masked man.
Minato vs Masked man
Minato immediately got to the masked man due to the seal he places on him so he could get to him right away, but it was too late he had just summoned the Kyuubi the beast who could level mountains and destroy every single village.
Minato couldn't deal with the Kyuubi at the moment because he had to beat the one who summoned it and that's exactly what he was going to do.
Minato rushed at the masked man at speeds most people wouldn't be able to follow but with the help of the masked mans Sharingan he could follow Minato's movements, Minato went in for a slash of his kunai but it simply fazed right through the masked man shocking Minato 'what is this jutsu, how is this possible' but Minato got back to his senses and blocked an attack from the masked man.
Minato knew that there was only one way he could defeat the masked man, and that was to use his 2 signature jutsus the Harashin and the Rasengan so that's what he did, Minato charged at the masked man Kunai in one hand and his other hand was making the Rasengan when he was close enough Minato threw his Kunai which not to his surprise fazed right through him but while it was fazing through him the masked man was getting ready to grab Minato which if he did would end the battle and Minato would have lost.
But that's not what would happen because once the Kunai was done fazing through the masked man he tried to grab Minato but he disappeared, immediately he felt something hit his back this was the Rasengan Minato made, and with that one move the masked man had lost.
Minato wanted answers about who he was and why he did this, "who are you?" Minato asked the masked man but suddenly a whirlpool-like technique went around the masked man but before he left he said one thing and one thing only
"I am Madara Uchiha"
And with that, the so-called Madara was gone leaving Minato to his thoughts 'how, how could Madara Uchiha be alive, the only one who was on par with Hashirama Senju the 1st Hokage.'
Minato didn't have any more time to think because he had to somehow beat the Kyuubi a mass of chakra that cant is killed and can only be sealed, that's when Minato got an idea, an idea he hated but would save the village, and this technique was the Death Reaper Seal and as the name says the use of this forbidden technique would die by getting their soal ripped out of their body and is stored inside the stomach of the Shinigami.
Minato needed someone else to hold the Kyuubi at bay while he did the seals but no one was strong enough to stop the Kyuubi except for one red-haired person, his wife Kushina Uzumaki who possessed chakra chains the only thing other than the Mokuton (wood release) to be able to hold down a tailed beast.
He immediately used his Harashin to get to his wife and son as fast as possible since they only had a short amount of time before the Kyuubi would destroy the whole village, Minato was teleported right to where kushina was she was looking better but was still very weak after the extraction which would kill her soon, Minato needed to tell his wife what he was planning to do even if she doesn't like it, they don't really have a choice.
Kushina looked up to see her husband with a worried expression on his face "Minato, what's wrong?" kushina asked and Minato could tell she was scared of what he was gonna say, "Kushina the only way we can stop the Kyuubi is to seal it into a newborn baby" Minato said looking at Naruto.
Kushina was confused as to why her husband was looking at their son after he said that until she realized what he meant, "NO, NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!" kushina said getting up and yelling at her husband even though she was still weak "you will not put the Kyuubi into our son I forbid it!" kushina yelled slightly quieter than before.
Minato knew this would happen but he couldn't give up because he had to save what he had sworn to protect when he became Hokage, "Kushina please your the only one who can keep the Kyuubi at bay while I do the seal, its the only way," Minato sadly said because he didn't want to put the Kyuubi into his son either but there was no choice its either his son becomes a Jinchūriki or Konoha is destroyed by the Kyuubi.
Kushina was thinking like she never had before about the consequences of naruto being the Kyuubi Jinchūrikii and the benefits of her son being one but unluckily for her, there were a few more benefits than consequences so she went with it but not before asking Minato something "Minato what seal are you going to use" Kushina said but Minato knew he had to give her the honest answer or he would pay.
Minato sighed before sitting her down because it was going to be hard on her "Kushina I'm going to use the (8 trigrams sealing technique)" which made Kushina relax because she thought it was going to be worse than that relief soon faded "I'm also going to use the (Death Reaper Seal)" this made Kushina have multiple emotions, sadness because she knew that it would kill Minato to use that technique, Anger because he's going to use the technique and hate because she knew that if Minato used that seal their son wouldn't have his parents in his life, but they trusted that Kakashi Minato's student would love to take care of him.
Kushina hated the idea of this but she also knew it was the only way to save the village "ok Minato ill help" kushina said in defeat but didn't have any more time to think as they were right in front of the Kyuubi already, Kushina knowing what she had to do she used her chakra chains and held the Kyuubi in place while Minato did the long list of hand signs but the Kyuubi realized what Minato was planning to do so he immediately attack the child with an arm that was free from her chains.
Both Minato and Kushina knew what the Kyuubi was trying to do but they wouldn't let him so they jumped in front of the claw that was going to kill Naruto but instead went right through Minato's and Kushina's stomach as both of them held it in place so their child would be alright.
Minato and Kushina both knew that they had very limited time so Minato began reperforming the seals for the (reaper death seal) and this time he finished and the reaper was summoned Minato and Kushina were seeing the shinigami the god of death right in front of them.
"Mortal why have you summoned me," the shinigami said and Minato could sense in the Shinigami's voice that it was not happy to be summoned "i-i summoned you to p-put the Kyuubi i-inside my son," Minato said fighting for his life for as long as he could
The Shinigami thought it over and he wanted to get this over with, "very well mortal I shall grant you request, but I will have to take your soul for compensation" the Shinigami said Minato nodded and got the sealing technique ready for the Kyuubi to be sealed in "thank you" was all Minato could say before the Shinigami started taking the Kyuubi's chakra and pouring it into Naruto's seal, but the Shinigami was putting more than half of the Kyuubi inside of Naruto.
"W-wait that's more than h-half," Minato said but got no answer for a few minutes once the sealing was done, "for compensation of summoning me you Minato Namikaze will have your soul taken from you, and for summoning me while I was busy you son will take on the burden of being the full Kyuubi jinchūriki." the Shinigami said not very pleased that he had to deal with mortals but Minato didn't like the idea of Naruto having all the Kyuubi inside of him.
"N-no you can't do this" Minato said but got a grunt from the Shinigami "I can do whatever I want I am the god of death, you're lucky I even helped you with this, I could have just taken your soal, so you should be thanking me," and with that the shinigami left without a trace.
Minato and Kushina only had to wait a moment before Hiruzen and Kakashi found them both on the ground and slowly dying more so than Kushina, "MINATO SENSEI!" was all Kakashi said before running to his sensei who was almost dead.
Hiruzen went to see how Kushina was doing but he knew she wouldn't make it after the unsealing of the Kyuubi even for an Uzumaki, but over with Kakashi Minato was already gone and was left with a crying Kakashi as well as Kushina when she saw what was happening but she couldn't be said right now she has to at least speak to her child.
"H-Hiruzen bring Naruto to me," Kushina asked holding out her arms for her child, Hiruzen did as he was asked and grabbed Naruto out of the bed when he noticed the seal on the young boy "Kushina Minato didn't do what I think he did," Hiruzen said turning around to Kushina who just nodded making hiruzen go wide eyed.
"Why would Minato do this he has no idea what the villagers will do if they find out" Hiruzen said obviously scared for the boy but Kushina just looked up at Kakashi, "Thats why Minato wants Kakashi to take care of him if he's up to it" kushina said which made Hiruzen shocked but Kakashi even more because his sensei trusted him enough to put the care of his son to Kakashi, "Kakashi cant take care of Naruto he is far to young and is in the Anbu" Hiruzen said but kakashi spoke up "well lord 3rd i was actually going to be leaving the anbu anyway so I would love to take care of sensei's child" Kakashi said determined to take care of Naruto.
"But Kakashi is still far to you-" hiruzen said but was cut off as Kushina spoke up, "This is Minatos last act as the 4th Hokage Kakashi is to take care of Naruto and when he is a certain age train him" Kushina said hoping Hiruzen would buy because for the most part she had lied about the final act as Hokage just to make sure Naruto had someone could be there for Naruto.
"Okay Kushina if its Minatos last act as Hokage i cant really deny that" Hiruzen said but before he could say another word Kushina fell to the ground, Hiruzen checked her pulse but she was already dead.
Hey guys i hope you liked this fanfiction so far i love where this is going right now and just so you know Naruto does have a kekkei genkai but you will have to read further once there are more chapter to figure out what that will be also i would love to hear some suggestions for parts of the stories i will not take any suggestions for kekkai genkai because i already know what it will be, let me know how you like it and if you want more also ill be taking a vote after a few chapter from your reveiws for ships that there will be.
