Hey guys! I know I haven't posted here in a hot minute, but today I decided to do something a little different. Out of the blue, if you must. This fanfiction is going to be about Wanda Maximoff as Natasha Romanoff's daughter.
Disclaimer: I own none of these characters (traits, personality, etc.) I only own the plotline and such. Thank you for reading.
These will be a series of one-shots. Some parts may have more than one chapter.
Other than that, enjoy!
Wanda sat on the curb outside of her school. Her school for orphans. Wanda Maximoff is a girl, from Sokovia, who lost everything. She even lost her twin brother, Pietro Maximoff. Now that's just heartbreaking. Well, back to Wanda. Wanda sighed. She didn't know what to do-or if there was anything to do. Just as Wanda was about to get up to go home, she eyed a fancy black car coming into the parking lot. What's that car doing here? She thought. Other kids near had noticed this car too. "Who's that?" some kids asked in their Sokovian accent. Wanda thought of someone who it could be-and that thought would make sense-but, she didn't want to believe that it was who she thought it was.
"Kira, look! They're getting out!" a girl yelled to her friend. Oh, how Wanda wished she had friends, but Wanda just wasn't lucky enough. Wanda was the weirdest out of all the orphans-according to the orphans. Why? No one knows the real reason, but only Wanda.
The person got out of the car. It was a woman, with red hair. She closed the door and walked up to the school-with the children surrounding it. She gave a slight smile to the children but then noticed Wanda. How alone she looked. "You," she said to Wanda. "M-me?" Wanda stuttered. The children turned to Wanda. "Yes, you. What's your name?" she asked. "M-my name?" Wanda asked. The woman nodded. "U-um…" Wanda stuttered. "Her name's Wanda Maximoff!" a kid yelled in a mocking tone. "Is that your name?" she asked Wanda. Wanda looked down, ashamed. "Y-yes." Wanda stuttered out. "Hey, Wanda, come here." the woman told Wanda. Though, Wanda hesitantly walked towards her.
"Yeah, that's it, come on," she said, kneeling to Wanda's level. "W-why do you need me...here?" Wanda asked. "Oh, let me tell you who I am first, then I can tell you why I needed you to come here," she said. Wanda nodded. The woman looked around, her emerald eyes searching through the crowd of children. "Okay, I'm going to ask you to tell no one else this, okay?" she asked Wanda. "Yes...okay," Wanda said. "Alright. I am Natasha Romanoff." the woman said. Wanda's eyes widened, as she moved back. Wanda immediately knew who she was-who she worked with. "Y-you're Natasha Romanoff," Wanda said. "Yes...that's who I am," Natasha said, confused by Wanda's actions. Wanda shook her head. "What is it, Wanda?" Natasha asked, calmly. "Y-you killed them!" Wanda said, loudly. "Who?" Natasha asked. "My family-you-you're friend, killed them," Wanda said. "Who would've-Oh. You mean Stark?" Natasha asked.
Wanda nodded her head. "Yes. Stark killed my family." Wanda said. "I'm sure it was an accident," Natasha tried to reason with the girl. "No, with Stark, nothing's an accident. He killed my brother, too." Wanda said. Natasha looked to Wanda. "Hey, why don't you come with me for a while?" Natasha offered. "I'd rather stay here," Wanda said, firmly. Natasha sighed. "Wanda, I can help you-we can help you," Natasha said. "Who? Your killer friends? The ones who say they avenge the earth when they actually destroy it?" Wanda asked, shaking her head. "No," Wanda said, then she tilted her head...activating her powers.
"Guys, I need back-up," Natasha said through her comms. "Oh, so this is what that was?" Wanda asked, in her thick, Sokovian accent. "No-I," Natasha started, but Wanda Maximoff wasn't having it. Wanda started to hover above the ground, her red wisps becoming larger and larger by the second as they propelled her off the ground. "You took everything from me," Wanda said, harshly. "Wanda, we-he didn't mean to." Natasha tried to reason. "I don't care," Wanda said, "He killed my brother," Wanda said, lifting her hand, and starting to shoot at Natasha.
Wanda was going full speed. No stopping her now. Throw after throw, hit after hit. Natasha tried to fight it, but couldn't. Wanda was too powerful for her. As Natasha was almost blacked-out, Wanda got shot in the chest; with a repulsor. "Nat!" Clint yelled through the coms. "I'm fine," Natasha said. "No, no. You're not fine. Guys, I'm taking Nat back to the jet," Clint informed the team. "Who did this to her?" Tony asked. "Why don't you look and see...Stark." Wanda said, harshly.
Wanda's powers were still fully visible, and still in full power at the moment. The team turned towards Wanda. "That doesn't look normal," Stark said. Wanda tilted her head and then started firing at Iron Man. She aimed for the arc reactor; knowing it would shut him down. Tony's eyes widened as he realized that, so he started firing back at her. "Don't hurt her, Tony! She's just a kid!" Steve said. "A very powerful kid!" Tony said over the crashing between repulsors and magical powers.
After 30 minutes of going back and forth, Wanda began to get tired. "Guys," Steve said, noticing. "What?" Tony asked. "She's getting tired. She's gonna faint." Steve said, running over to where Wanda was above the ground. "Shoot!" Tony said, turning down the repulsors. At that moment, Wanda had fainted and started coming down to the ground very, very fast. "Guys!" Steve yelled, running to where Wanda was falling.
In a split second, Steve had caught Wanda, and her eyes were closed. "Is she alive?" Tony asked, flying down. "I don't know, 'come on. Let's take her back to the Compound." Steve said, carrying Wanda, bridal style. "I hope she's alright," Steve said. "Me too," Tony said. With that, they made their way back to the jet, with Wanda, and off to the Compound.
