A different Black Adam

When something magical comes, we all think it's very noticeable and I will say I have no idea since when this magical thing happened it took me a few minutes to know since I was in a different place that was not the waiting room of a hospital. I'm now in a beautiful place that looks to have white marble floors and white stone walls with some parts have golden decoration. It looks very pretty and seems to look like ancient architectural look. The room I'm in has a single door in the endless looking hallway. I reach for the door and open it to a beautiful throne room with an odd giant panting near the throne of white marble. I go to look at the painting to see a beautiful woman with Egyptian looking clothing and looks to have tanned skin.

As I look at the painting a commanding voice says "Every time I look at this, I still can't believe how long it took for me to learn to be a better man. I still feel shame for listening to my vengeance and not protecting the people she loved so much." I turn around to see Black Adam from the comics. (His Bendis Justice League run look) He has a look of sadness of his face and his brown eyes stare into my brown eyes. I ask, "Who was she?" He says "Her name to me was Isis. My beloved wanted me to be a better person then her other lives made her angrier. I wanted to honor her after remembering her to be a better man. I know you know who I am."

My eyebrows rise and I wonder what he meant but I'm taken out of my thoughts when he says "In your world I'm a comic book character. A villain and recently a good person. The wizard told me that your world has access to read ours before he helped me get here. You see I have been watching your world for some time while I grow in power. You see in a few years a story will come out where I die to help save the world with that wizards help." He starts walking behind the throne and to a nice-looking balcony.

He says "After I died, I got a wish to be reborn in a new world by the a being that watches all the universes. I deiced to give my powers to someone in this new world that would be very similar to mine. I want my name to stand for goodness. I don't trust myself to fall back on honoring my beloved's memory. So, I chose you. Someone who is like me but has the heart to stay good. Will you accept my powers, Adam?" As he says my name, we reach the balcony. It's a beautiful place that shows great wealth to the land.

I know I have nothing back home for myself. Just a job that places okay for college and a small apartment. No family and nothing close to a good friend. Everyone thinks about going on a great adventure. Also being a superhero. I ask, "What do you want me to do if I go to this version of the dc universe?" A rare smile goes to the ancient man's face as he says "All I ask is for you to do good with these powers and protect my country. Don't rule them. That was my mistake." I nod and say, "Then I'll do it Teth-Adam."

He nods and says "Then you must swear by these gods. Here I have it written down." He the makes a piece of paper appear out of no wear. I read it out loud "I Adam Morrison swear to the Stamina of Shu, the Swiftness of Heru, the Strength of Amon, the Wisdom of Zehuti, the Power of Aton, and the Courage of Mehen. SHAZAM!" A crack of lightning takes over me and Teth-Adam. He disappears as I feel transformed to look exactly like he did. Then memories of hi come flooding my head. His anger at the wizard Shazam and his respect for him in the end. Also, his respect for Billy as his rival and his love for Isis. So much love and hate that he had but also guilt at the end. He liked helping people at the end. Seems he and I share a respect for Superman as well. I feel like I'm about to black out as my eyes grow heavy.

Outside Kahndaq

I wake up in my normal form on some sand and its nighttime. I sit up from laying down on the sand to see if there was anything nearby and I look to see a city pretty far away. I look to see what I have on and it's simply a black hoodie with blue pants with black shoes. These shoes will get messy with my hoodie. Well, it's pretty cold so I'm keeping my hoodie on. I start walking to the far away city and think back to when Teth-Adam as he was forced to walk back to his home on the marching with his family.

As I walk some more, I start hearing people start yelling and it takes me a second for my brain to understand what they are shouting. It was the native language of Kahndaq which is a mix of Arabic and ancient Egyptian dialect with it. They are shouting order to stop and lay down. I see a little sand hill, so I go to peek over to see the people. When I take a look of normal people are at gun point to some men in armor. They are pointing guns to children, weak looking people, and elderly. They look to be leaving the place I was heading to.

I hear the men talk about to kill the other but leave the women. My fist clench as a memory from Teth-Adam of the men who enslaved him. Well time to be a hero. I shout "Shazam!" A crack of lightning shoots to me as my new powers transform me into Black Adam. All the aspects of that word of power fills me and I see the soldiers look to me I shock with a hint of fear. I float to them and I say in the language of Kahndaq "I'll give you one chance to lay down your weapons and walk away from these people. If not, I'll make you leave."

Some look to think about leaving but one of them just shoots me and I don't flinch since I have this new courage. So, in a flash to these men, I have taken their guns and broke each one in half. Now I walk to the man that shoot me and I reach out to his face but before I could do what I was going to do he passes out. A small smirk appears to me and I just shoot a little bit of lightning to all the men to make them pass out. Now what to do? Let's see if I'm near Kahndaq then I'm near another city possibly in Jorden. So, with my new found wisdom I fly in a burst of speed in a direction possible to Jordon. After a minute I find a city, so I rush back to take the soldiers to this city in a stable with animals.

After a few minutes I go back to the innocent people and go to them slowly on the ground and ask in the language of Kahndaq "Are any of you hurt?" They look at me and the children smile as one of the more determined of them walks up to me. He looks to be a poor man but has a small bread and looks to have taken a punch from one of those soldiers. He says in heavy accent English "Thank you good sir. I'm Jabari. I must thank you for helping us. You look just like the old legend." I raise my eyebrow and he says "The legend of the protector of Kahndaq. The man of lightning that has the ancient gods' blessings to help protect its people when they are in need. It told that he would come again when the people need him the most. We certainly need him, or you are once more now."

I motion for them to hide behind the sand hills so if anyone comes to hurt these people we will not be out in the open. I ask to the man named Jabari "Why were you leaving Kahndaq? Those men had the flag on their sleeves. You don't look like people to be a threat to the country so why were you leaving and being hunted." Jabari looks sadden and one of the others starts a small fire. He says to me "We have a new ruler that some how got the position to rule us. She is a witch and controls demons. They are her armed guard and looks to be preparing for war. She makes the people died for these evil things. So, me and some of my neighbors decided to leave. We want no part in her war or die to those monsters."

I ask, "How come those men were fine with this?" Jabari says "Those who help in keeping her law get great rewards. I would love to try and get change my home, but I am just one man." I nod and vow to myself to help Kahndaq. I put a hand on Jabari's shoulder and say "You are very brave to leave your home and all I would give advice is to find support to help your country. Trust me I'll stop the witch that has control over your home." Jabari smiles and a single tear escapes his eye. He says "Thank you. I just hope she learns to never try that again." I nod and tell him to go to sleep. I'll help them get to another place. That takes about six hours after they woke up. After they get to another town, I went to about a few minutes away from Kahndaq. I go back to my normal form before I was truly insight of Kahndaq.

When I walk to the city the town seems easy to enter. Possibly to have more people for the demons or for some magical practice. I know from some Justice League Dark that dark magic which this witch must be using has a cost. In the light the city looks normal but some of the people look to be blanked out like there is nothing behind their eyes or have no passion in them. I wonder if they took their souls or just done with life. As the streets fill with people, I can feel some of the people's tense stares like they are waiting for something to happen.

Before I could ask where the ruler or queen live a very tall soldier starts pushing people to make a path in the street. Odd since I'm six feet tall but that could be a demon in disguise. As the path is clear I see a beautiful woman with a purple dress that matches her hair in color. Her eyes are a light blue that freaks me out and has some men in nice armor guarding her. I sense something off with them or foul. It's like knowing something is off when you look at something. Someone next to me with perfect English "You can sense it too. That feeling like something is off with the 'beloved' ruler Tala. It must be luck she doesn't since your magical powers thunder boy. Heck I feel like I'm going to be zapped at any moment just being next to you."

I turn to the man and I see an American man with slicked black hair with blue eyes. He has a I don't care look to him. He is wearing a brown trench coat with a black tie and white button up shirt. He says "Nicolas Nolan. The best magician in the world." I heard about him. He was like a mentor to John Constantine. I can see it. I say "Adam. Why are you here?" He chuckles and says "I'm here to see if that witch has something I want. So why not do a public good and banish her from this earth." I ask, "What do you mean banish her?" He says, "If you want to know more come with me."

He starts walking to the side away from the 'ruler' and I follow him. He already knows I have great magic with me. I think I remember a woman that looks like this Tala from that Justice League cartoon. God, I haven't watch that in years. We walk to some place and he makes a few words as the dose he stops in front of a door that starts to glow. It opens and Nicolas goes inside as I follow him. It's a nice-looking bar and I see some odd people in it. Before I could ask where we are someone goes on a stage that looks to have wait that's Zatanna. (Think her in her classic outfit). She does a show with real magic in those saying words backwards. Nicolas says "Welcome to the Oblivion Bar Adam. Now let's get a drink."

He sits down at the bar and I just sit next to him. He orders some alcohol and I ask for a glass of water. He says "That woman that is ruling is a witch with great power in the dark arts. She is also rumored to know where a certain item's location and I really want it." I can sense a desire for this object. He sighs and says "Her name is Tala. She is a mistress of hell or part demon to be simple. She can die all she wants but reforms in hell like all demons. My plan is to seal her up in hell again and search her notes she must have about what I want."

I nod and ask "So how come you are talking to me? Why not go and banish her right now?" For the strongest magician that should be no problem for him. He sighs and says "I need help. Her guards are powerful demons. I may be able to take one or two but seven will kill me while dealing with her." He has a point. Wait why not ask other magic people. I ask "You think I have the power to battle seven powerful demons? Why not ask for help from other magicians?" He clenches sighs but says "Well I believe you would be enough help. I was going to ask an old college for help but then I met you. It's odd. At a distance I can't tell your magical but close it's like an open faucet."

That is good to know. Should look for a way to hide that later. As he keeps drinking his glass, I see from a booth was a blond man with Zatanna. Is that John? They seem happy. My mind goes to Teth-Adam's beloved Isis. His joy and peace when he was with her. I need to get a hand on these flashes from him. I shake my head as Nicolas asks, "So you in thunder boy?" I nod and a smirk graces his face. I don't know why but his face looks to be shouting to be punch at. He then says, "I'm going to take a piss." As he leaves, I just drink my glass of water. Someone sits next to me and I look at them.

It's a gorgeous woman with long brown hair and odd green clothes that has a hood with a cape but also looks to be a body suit. She says "So you have power similar to me. Why has Nicolas taken you here? He doesn't come here anymore since he started hunting that stupid item." I raise an eyebrow and say, "He is going to help me stop the witch Tala." Her eyes go a flash of green and she says "So the 'best' magician is going after her. So, he thinks you can stop her little army she must have. I will say this. You will need help." I ask, "Why are you helping me?"

She says "Because I want to see that Witch out of this world. Let's just say she wants my powers and if I let that happened, she will be too powerful. I sadly can't help but I can ask someone who may help you and that odd man." Before I could thank her, she leaves. I wonder if that was Enchantress. I think she was a hero before New 52. In a few minutes Nicolas comes back, and he says "Come on. We will attack tonight." All I hope is if that help will come in time to help. I may not fully trust this guy, but I need his help.

I hope you guys like this. So, this takes places a few months after Superman and other heroes have been public. Also, this will be a weird to you guys version of the Dc universe. I will have Adam join the Justice League. What guys do you want on the league? Also, possible people to team up with Adam in the future.
