Chrom peered out upon the balcony of Amethyst Emprys. It overlooked a dazzling silver lake in the center of the Lightlands. It was a small section cut off from the Smashlands where Chrom retired to when he was fighting. Chrom was a handsome young prince with light soft skin and thick wavy blue hair. He had plated shoulder armour and a short blue coat with button studs and a symbol of peace on his right arm. There was no denying Chrom was a wholesome fellow who adored smashing. But the one thing Chrom adored the most was Corrin. She was an elegant young girl with long creamy white hair and a stunning black and silver shimmering uniform. She lived in Chrom's old residancy, Silk Manor. It was a colossal palace upon the clouds at the top of Mt. Lux. When Corrin escaped from the clutches of the smash authorities. She had desperately wandered the Smashlands, searching for a place to sleep. When she encountered Chrom, it love at first sight for Chrom. He gifted her with a safe place to stay in Silk Manor. The smash authorites could not go searching in the Lightlands, as it belonged to the Havens. Chrom moved out later after that to give Corrin her personal palace. He moved into the Amethyst Emprys, a tower bigger than Silk Manor that lay on a Sky Island with a flowing lake and oak trees surrounding it. It had full catering and extra staff for Chrom's needs. He paid them well and treated them well, presenting them with breaks if they needed them. He'd sometimes just tell them he could do it himself and still give them full wage. He was a well respected master by his staff and everyone cared for him. One night Chrom lay in bed. All he could think about was Corrin. He didn't think of his feelings towards her as sexual. That was repulsive to him. But he still did adore her. Their relationship was amazing. They exchanged messages and talked everyday. He'd go and visit her and talk to her atleast twice a week. But when Chrom lay in bed this night, he realised how he needed to tell Corrin of his love towards her. He slept peacefully that night.

Chrom awoke with a splitting headache. Fuck he thought, rubbing it rapidly. He called for one of his servants on duty (he didn't like calling his staff servants even though that was their purpose. They had reassured him that it was completely fine). They told him to lie in bed for a bit while they brought him some medication. They returned a minute later and granted him with pain relief pills. He guzzled them down and took a slurp of water afterwards. He strained himself out of bed and threw on his shoulder plate. He turned to his reflection in the mirror. He would change into his ordinary outfit in a second but his eyes wandered to the reflections eyes. It was the day. He had decided last night. He then nodded at the mirror and proceeded to pull out new fresh clothes from his golden wardrobe. It had been a gift from the iconic Princess Peach for contributing to beat the opponent team in a duo battle. Chrom got changed and headed down stairs towards the dining quarters.

After a scrumptious breakfast, Chrom suited up properly (apart from the fresh clothes about an hour ago) and headed out to the front garden of the Emprys. Servants were harvesting the grown plants and plucking flowers. The garden was immense and covered nearly a quarter of the Sky Island. It was well cared for and in the spring it looked like a massive bucket of rainbows. Chrom loved how it looked. Before his father died he had told Chrom to make sure to keep it alive. Chrom had promised he would and so the promise remained stable. He continued to walk across the paved, stoney path until he reached the end of the island. He clapped his hands and 5 clouds made their way towards him.

"Silk Manor" he called upon them. They combined together and made a fluffy stepway onto the main cloud. Chrom stepped onto the steps, climbed up and made sure his stance was firm on the cloud. As soon as Chrom was stable, the cloud dispersed away, gliding into the sky above.

Chrom arrived at the extensive cloud surface and clambered up the steps to Silk Manor. He inhaled deeply and came tp his senses. He knocked on the door.

Footsteps hobbled towards the door and it opened subtly. A little droid stood there, peering out.

"Master Chrom! Pleased to see you!" said the droid cheerfully. The droids that looked after Silk Manor had been a gift from Chrom's uncle who was an inventor. The droids had been programmed to help Chrom at every cost but he had asked his uncle to reboot them when Corrin moved in. They were still programmed to greet and help Chrom as well.

"Corrin!" the droid called from the bright hallway. "It's Chrom!"

Corrin stumbled from within the huge living room and sprinted towards the door.

"Chrommmm!" She shouted joyfully, reaching in and snuggling him. Chrom felt his cheeks go hot and he rubbed his neck as he blushed.

"I came to talk to you in private." Chrom mumbled. Corrin stood back looking alarmed. "Oh..ok. Come in." Chrom nodded slightly and strode into the manor. Corrin lead them to the private meeting room. It had a huge balcony which overlooked the Smashlands and all the kingdoms. It was the center of Silk Manor and it used to be (actually still is) Chrom's favourite place in the Manor. He sat down in a cushioned couch, the most comfortable couch in the world. Corrin sat down next to him and Chrom felt his cheeks go warm again.

"So...what's up?" Corrin gestured. Chrom took a deep breath.

"I like you Corrin. A lot. I've been concealing it for awhile now and I just think it's time to give up my heart to you. If you don't feel this way about me, I understand. I just want to get this huge weight off my already heavy shoulders" Chrom looked at his shoulder plate. Corrin narrowed her eyes to the carpeted ground. She smiled. Chrom hung his head. He knew Corrin more than anyone. She probably thought it was hilarious. Chrom felt like stabbing himself. What had he done? He should've just-

"I like you a lot too Chrom." Chrom looked up at her. His faced brightened. And he smiled. "You do?"

"Yep. I've been bottling it up forever. When you came up today I thought of it as the perfect opportunity. But you mentioned it first...I guess." Corrin gave off a small chuckle. Chrom couldn't take his eyes of Corrin. For the first time he was realising how beautiful and spectacular Corrin was. He leaned in. But his head came to a halt. Should he? Corrin leaned in too. Chrom took his chance. They kissed. Smoothly and subtly thought Chrom. Corrin moved in and grasped his arm. They stopped the kiss to catch their breath then Corrin huddled up to Chrom. They wrapped their arms around eachother. Their bodies were inseperable. They shared the beautiful moment of bliss.

Later that night, Corrin stood staring out at the moon over the Smashlands. The man she loved more than anything adored her back. It made her grin. The wind swirled around her, making her hair wisp to the sync of the breeze. Suddenly, she heard footsteps stroll towards her. She turned around swiftly but relieved to see a smiling Chrom standing there.

"Droids let me in. Asked if I wanted to stay the night." Chrom grinned. Corrin gave a look that urged Chrom to come to her. He put his arm around her and she leant her head on his shoulder.

"I love you." She said quickly as if she was begging to get it out.

"I love you too Corrin." He said squeezing tighter on her arm. They looked out at the lights flickering in the distance.

This was their future.
