I wrote another Bechloe sick fic, and this will likely not be my last. I really enjoy writing them, for some reason. (shrug). I didn't know how to put a paragraph break so for the breaks there will just be a (break). As for trigger warnings, I swear a lot because that's how I roll and there is a vomit trigger warning. Otherwise, I think it's all good. Enjoy!

"Shortstack! Why are you not controlling your girlfriend?!"

Beca was positive she was still dreaming. Not even Fat Amy would wake someone up like this. But as Fat Amy continued to go on some sort of rant about controlling a girlfriend, Beca came to the grim realization that this was how she was going to start her day.

"Amy, what the hell?" Beca forced her eyes open and sat up. "What time is it?"

"7am."

"Could you please explain why you are waking me up at 7am when my first class isn't until 10:45?" Beca growled.

"Because my first class is at 8." Fat Amy said calmly. Beca stared blankly at her.

"Why does that affect me?!"

Fat Amy gave her a pitying look. "Beca, I know you just got up, but please try to keep up."

"I'm gonna need you to explain it or get out of my face." Beca snapped. She was usually in a poor mood in the morning even when she woke up in normal circumstances.

Fat Amy rolled her eyes. "Your girlfriend is in the kitchen, coughing on everything, like she's been doing for the past three days."

"Yeah, she has like a cough or something, I'm sure she'll be fine." Beca said, resting her head back on the pillow.

"But the coughing is AGGRESSIVE and getting EVERYWHERE and she is going to make the whole house sick."

"Is it possible you are overreacting?" Beca moaned. Before Beca even finished her question, Amy pulled out her cell phone and opened a video of Chloe hacking all over the kitchen table. Amy was right, it was quite aggressive. Beca sighed.

"Okay, okay, I'm up." Beca sat up. "I'm going, I'm going."

"Good job, Fun Size." Amy patted her on the back and followed her down to the kitchen where Chloe was laying down on the table breathing heavily. Fat Amy gave Beca a knowing look.

"Hey, baby." Beca came up behind Chloe. "Hun?"

Chloe turned her head and glanced up at her girlfriend. "What are you doing up? Don't you not have class until later?"

"Yeah but, Fat Amy woke me up because she was…uh…worried about you?" Beca tried to say convincingly.

"Yeah. Worried." Fat Amy scoffed, pulling a bottle of hand sanitizer out of her pocket and dumping half of it on her hands.

"Oh." Chloe muttered. "I'm okay."

"Yep, that's bullshit." Beca said cheerfully and grabbed onto Chloe's arm. "Come on, we're going to your room."

"But I have class in like…soon?" Chloe glanced at her watch. "Oh. It starts now."

"Yeah, you're not going to class." Beca tugged. "You probably shouldn't have gone to class these past few days, honestly."

"I'm fine." Chloe insisted, putting her head back on the table.

"Come on, Chloe. I'll be with you, I'm not leaving." Beca assured her. Chloe groaned, stood up and let Beca lead her to the top of the stares. Chloe was the senior member of the Bellas, so she was the only one with her own room, although she frequently had Beca spend the night with her there.

"Okay, into bed." Beca ordered, leading Chloe over to her bed.

"When did you get so motherly?" Chloe giggled, getting under the covers.

"Well, apparently my girlfriend is brining out my maternal instincts, which is honestly super weird." Beca said, pulling the covers up.

"You'll stay with me?" Chloe asked, grabbing her hand.

"I will. I promise." Beca assured her. "Can I go make a quick phone call real fast?"

"Come back soon." Chloe ordered her before letting her head fall on her pillow. Beca hid a smile and stepped outside her door. Quickly she hit Jesse's contact.

"Beca, what the hell are you doing calling me this early?" Jesse grumbled.

"Jesse, how do you take care of sick people?" Beca whispered into the phone.

"Woah. Never thought I'd see the day." Jesse chuckled. "Be-CAW getting all maternal and shit. Is it your girlfriend?"

"Yeah, what do I do?" Beca snapped.

"What does she have?"

"Cough." Right on cue Chloe had a coughing fit inside her bedroom. "Aggressive cough. Oh, and she was having breathing problems."

"For how long?"

"A couple days. Oh, and she seems really tired."

"Does she have a fever?" Jesse asked.

"Um…hang on!" Beca ran back inside her bedroom and felt her girlfriend's forehead. "Damn, you're hot."

"Thanks, babe." Chloe grinned at her.

Beca stepped back outside. "Yeah, she feels like she has a fever."

"Not to worry you, Beca, but it sounds like she could have pneumonia."

"Cool, how do I fix it?" Beca asked.

"I'm not a doctor, Beca."

"But you probably know a lot more about this than me so just take a guess!"

"Okay, okay." Jesse paused for a second. "I'd say cough medicine and rest. If she gets worse though, you really should take her to the doctor."

"Great, could you get me some cough medicine?" Beca begged.

"I'm sorry, what? Why can't you get it?" Jesse questioned.

"I told her I'd stay." Beca explained.

Jesse snorted. "You also told me freshman year you liked me and then came out as a lesbian a year later."

Beca rolled her eyes. "Jesse, this is not about you!"

"How is it that I'm so whipped by a girl who will never be attracted to me?" Jesse asked.

"See you in half an hour?"

Jesse sighed. "You owe me."

"Thank you!" Beca beamed as Jesse ended the call. "Hey, baby. Jesse is going to come by with some stuff to make you feel better."

Chloe looked confused. "How…how did all this happen…"

"Just accept it." Beca laughed. "Do you have a thermometer?"

"I do not." Chloe admitted.

"Gonna text Jesse to grab one of those too." Beca mumbled as she texted away at her phone. "Now, scoot over."

"No, baby, you'll get sick too." Chloe protested.

"Vaccinated." Beca reassured her. "Hey, why didn't you get vaccinated?"

Chloe blushed and mumbled something.

"Didn't catch that, babe." Beca said.

"I don't like needles." Chloe admitted.

"Oh, sweetie." Beca laughed and motioned for Chloe to scoot over. Chloe obeyed and Beca wrapped her arms around Chloe. "Sweetie, sweetie, sweetie." She squeezed her on each word. "Wait." She stopped. "Are you saying your not vaccinated at all? From anything?"

"No, no." Chloe reassured her. "I got everything except for flu and pneumonia. I just felt like I could deal with those."

"And how do you feel now?" Beca asked as Chloe had a coughing fit. Beca waited for her to finish.

"I feel like shit." Chloe confessed.

"I'm going to make you feel better." Beca promised her. "Somehow…"

(Break)

Chloe fell asleep while they waited for Jesse. Beca couldn't get over how cute she looked; she had cuddled right up with Beca. Chloe was the only one who knew Beca secretly liked to cuddle, and even if she didn't, Beca wasn't going to say no to Chloe when she was in this state.

"Beca! The boy who turned you gay is here!" Beca heard Fat Amy call up the stairs. Jesse appeared a few seconds later.

"Is she going to refer to me as that every time?" Jesse groaned.

"Don't worry, Jesse. If anything, I turned her gay." Chloe teased in a tired voice.

"Are you two cuddling?" Jesse said, surprised. Beca quickly sat up.

"You saw nothing." Beca warned him as Chloe's laughter turned into a coughing fit.

"Noted." Jesse nodded then turned his attention to Chloe. "God, she's a mess, huh?"

Chloe started to say something but fell into another coughing fit. Beca lightly patted her back.

"It's okay, baby. It's okay." Beca soothed her then looked back to Jesse. "Did you bring the goods?"

"I brought the goods." Jesse said, in an accent he clearly thought sounded like a mob man. Beca rolled her eyes.

"I'd say first we should take her temperature and then give her the cough medicine." Beca said, holding out her hands to Jesse.

"I also brought some Pedialyte because the internet said to stay hydrated, and some pain killers for the fever." Jesse said, handing Beca the bag.

"Thanks, Jesse. I'll take the bill when we have lunch on Thursday, okay?" Beca said as she started emptying the bag.

"Sounds good, feel better Chloe!" Jesse said before heading back down the stairs. Beca took the thermometer out and stuck it under Chloe's tongue.

"What's the verdict?" Chloe asked when Beca pulled it out.

"150." Beca said, deadpanned. "I'm sorry, Chloe. You're going to die."

"Funny." Chloe rolled her eyes.

"It's 102. Definitely a fever, and we should probably keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get worse." Beca said, pulling out the cough syrup. She poured some into the cap and handed it to Chloe. "Want a shot?"

"I wish this was a shot." Chloe groaned and tossed back the cup. "Yuck."

"Do you want to go back to sleep?" Beca asked.

"I keep coughing in my sleep and waking myself up." Chloe complained. "Can we watch a movie?"

Beca groaned at the mention of movies. "If you want…" Chloe squealed.

"Hand me my laptop." Chloe ordered. Beca obeyed and started searching on her laptop. "I heard about this movie from Aubrey, it's a musical." Beca groaned again and Chloe laughed. "It's called 'The Last Five Years'."

"Not just a movie, but a musical. Great." Beca said sarcastically.

"The girl in it is apparently really hot." Chloe said, setting the laptop at the foot of her bed.

"What's her name?"

"Anna Kendrick." Chloe answered as the opening notes started playing. "Oh my God, Beca, she looks kind of like you."

"You think?" Beca squinted. "I mean, I guess? Are you saying I'm hot?"

"Oh yeah, you're much hotter than this girl." Chloe reassured her as Beca put her arm around her. Chloe snuggled up closer.

"I love you." Beca told her.

"I love you too." Chloe smiled before letting out a cough.

(Break)

Beca and Chloe were halfway through the movie when Chloe's coughing got out of control. She started off with just a couple of coughs, but Beca could tell after a minute that this was a different kind of fit.

"Hey, hey, you okay?" Beca said, patting her back. Chloe started to hack and Beca sprinted to grab a garbage can. Beca placed the garbage can in front of the coughing girl.

"Holy fuck." Chloe gasped out as tears started to fall down her face. "This hurts." She cried.

"I know, I know." Beca started making circles with her palm on Chloe's back. "Come on, just get it out, it will be okay."

Chloe hacked mucus into the garbage can, followed by a bit of vomit. Finally, the coughing started to calm down and Chloe sat back up.

"God." Chloe cried and Beca pulled her in for a hug.

"It's okay, sweetie, it's okay." Beca continued to rub circles on her back. "Will you be okay if I go downstairs and get you some water?"

"You'll come right back?" Chloe asked, worried.

"Always, baby." Beca promised her, kissing her forehead. "I'll be right back."

Chloe sat up and Beca made her way to down the stairs. She got the redhead a glass of water than returned up the stairs. To Beca's surprise, Chloe was asleep when she got back.

"My sweet patient." Beca laughed and slid in next to Chloe. "Good night, baby."
