Revenge
Friday evening
After the week they have had the intelligence team decided that they all needed to let their hair down and drink a bucket full of alcohol, Hailey sat at her desk finishing off her paperwork, as she sat writing her phone buzzes, she pulls out her phone and it's a text from her confidential informant the one she helped out on her last case because she found out he stole from his sister so she got information from him and gave him money, Jay stood up from his desk he looks to the women he is in love with as he tries to get her attention making sure she is coming with them to the pub, but she doesn't give him eye contact.
"Hey Hailey, you joining us at molly's" asks Jay?
"Err no I'm going to give it a miss see you Monday unless we get called in on Saturday" says Hailey looking up to see her colleagues waiting for her to answer their question.
"Ooh are we not good enough for you, or is it a hot date" asks Kevin?
"I wish guys, no its one of my CI's needs help and for some reason he has asked to see me so I am going to meet him" answers Hailey.
"Were you meeting them" asks Jay?
"Oh 47 and Indiana don't know why Marvin doesn't know that part of town" answers Hailey.
"Oh okay, stay safe, don't stay up too late. See you Monday" says Jay.
All the team leave the squad room and heads out the doors, Hailey follows suit a few minutes later, but she heads off to see her informant, everyone left the building apart from Voight who normally stays behind at night since he doesn't have anyone to go home to so he stays late doing paperwork, as he does paperwork, he hears footsteps in the squad room, he ignores it but then his office door opens and stood at the door is superintendent miller.
"Commander how can I help you at this time of night" asks Voight?
"Hank I need information about a convict, looking at the file of the guy your team dealt with his last arrest" explains miller.
"I'll try and help but what's the problem" asks Voight?
"Well, you know a part of my new rules we treat everyone with respect and if so as victims, so when I hear about a jailed convict threatening a confidential informant then I get involved" says Miller.
"Ok so who is the confidential informant" asks Voight?
"I only have a first name of Kelly" answers Miller.
"Well, I can't help since you only have her first name, I have come across many women by the name of Kelly, plus I know a guy called Kelly" says Voight.
"Okay the jailed convict is Ronnie booth" answers Miller.
"What are you sure, what does he want with this Kelly" asks Voight?
"He is making death threats and I believe that we have a woman in danger and we need to find her and I thought you could help since your team arrested him last time" says miller.
"Okay but I need you to know that the information should be kept quiet" says hank.
"Okay why" asks Miller?
"You were right to be worried because Kelly is an alias, Kelly is the undercover name of a cop who worked with booth trying to bring down his operation, the officer is detective Hailey Upton" answers Voight.
"Where is she" asks Miller?
"Not here she went to meet a CI" answers Voight.
"Are you sure it's a ci she is meeting" asks miller?
"What do you mean" asks Voight?
"There is a possibility that booth hired Someone to kill her and they set up an ambush and they used her ci as bait" says miller.
"Oh my god we need to get to 47 and Indiana now" says Voight grabbing his coat and rushes out the office along with miller, they get in their own cars and drive to the location where Hailey is.

47 and Indiana
Hailey drove up to the place in the middle of nowhere, she parks her car and she gets out the car she looks around hoping to see Marvin but then out of nowhere a car pulls up beside her the windows tinted, the driver's window rolls down part way, then a gun appears between the gap Hailey backs away but then there is a bang and then she feels a pain sear through her right shoulder she grasps her shoulder and before she has a chance to run there was another bang then she is flung backwards onto the ground and lands on her right shoulder, as she lay on the ground bleeding from her left side and her right shoulder, she ignored her surroundings but then the door of the car opens and the man walks to her and he open fires again on her this time hitting her in the left hip Hailey falls unconscious from blood loss, the guy sees Hailey unconscious and he thinks she is dead he runs to the car and gets in and drives off leaving Hailey for dead.
Ten minutes later Hailey still lay unconscious on the ground bleeding but then, Voight pulls up, he gets out of his car and miller and her driver do the same, all three officers look around and they find Hailey's car and then they see her unconscious form a few yards from her car, Voight runs to Hailey he kneels down and rolls her over he sees the holes and the blood he checks for a pulse he breathes a sigh of relief when he feels a faint pulse, he takes off his coat and places it on her wounds hoping to stop the bleeding, miller gets her driver to call for ambulance and police back up.
Soon the police arrive to secure the scene.

24-hour shift
Firehouse 51
Everyone at firehouse 51 was asleep or getting ready to go to sleep before there next call out, Sylvie and Gianna sat on the beds talking getting to know one another, but as they talked the tonoi goes of alerting ambo 61 and truck 81 to a police officer shot at 47th and Indiana, Gianna and Sylvie rush out the bunk room along with the fire fighters of truck, they rush to their vehicles and get their gear on and soon they were all off.

Sylvie and Gianna arrive first at the location and then truck pulls up behind them, Casey and his team get out the truck, all the team gather in a group in front of the fire truck they look on at the scene in front of them, they see a group of police officers running around like headless chickens and containing the scene, the firefighters walk to the police cordon, the police realise the ambulance has arrived they let the paramedics and firefighters into the scene to treat the patient, as they approach the patient all they see is Voight kneeling over a body holding pressure on the victim wounds, the superintendent walks over to them.
" Hey thank you for coming" says miller.
" no problems were is our patient" asks Sylvie?
" I didn't know firefighters come out on ambulance calls, and our victim is over here she has been shot three times" says miller walking with Brett and Casey and there team.
"Well, we come in support especially when gangs are involved sometimes the police are not around and one time our paramedics were kidnapped trying to help someone so know we come out on shooting calls, as man power back up "explain Casey.
" good she is over here" says miller pointing to were Voight is kneeling.
Voight look up and he eyes Casey first and then the paramedics, Casey sees Voight he rushed to help, he gets on the floor along with Brett.
" hey sergeant who is this" asks Sylvie?
"One of my detective Hailey Upton she has been shot three times, one in the right shoulder, her left side of the chest but I think it might be a through and through she has blood on her back and there is some on the floor, and as you can see, she has one to her left hip too, I am holding pressure on her shoulder and chest but I can't stop it" says Voight close to crying.
" Okay keep pressure I am going to replace your coat with gauze and then can you hold the gauze please" asks Sylvie?
" Yeah sure" says Voight.
" Mackay gauze and lots of it hand some to Matt he can put pressure on the shoulder wound, whilst sergeant Voight put pressure on her side and Mackay you do the same on her hip" asks Sylvie.
Mackay grabs the gauze she splits it, she passed some to Matt and then she passed some to Sylvie who helped Voight move his coat and replace it with the gauze, Voight threw the coat to one side and grabbed the gauze and held it tight on to Hailey wound whilst Sylvie stuck them down securely in place with tape.
Sylvie started an IV and placed an oxygen mask over Hailey face to help her breathe, once she and her partner knew there friend was stable they shouted for help.
" right she stable enough to move let's get the back board in" asks Sylvie?
" Mouch get the back board" shouts Casey.
Mouch runs to the back of the ambulance he grabs the board and trolley he wheels the trolley close to the patient, he takes the back board and hands it to Casey, the men help move Hailey onto the board and then the trolley and soon they have Hailey in the ambulance.
" sergeant Voight would you like to come with us to Chicago med" asks Sylvie?
Hank look to his boss.
" Go with her I'll get a uniform to bring your car to the hospital.
" Okay let's go" says Voight climbing into the back of the ambulance and soon Hailey was off to hospital for treatment.
