Los Angeles Staples Center

The very foundations of the arena was shaking with a roar of the excited crowd. The noise was so great, that if it was any louder, it would start shaking the locker rooms where Shelby Marx resided. The youngest CFC Champion in history paced back and forth, much like a hungry lion, ready to devour its prey.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Shelby is in for the fight of her life. Tonight, she is fighting against Uchu Eien Danger! She is absolutely ruthless! If Shelby wants to win, she'll need 150% of her power and speed! Marx vacated the title a couple years ago for unknown reasons. Her hiatus was cut short when the new champion, Uchu Eien continuously called her out and challenged her, and now Shelby is back! Can she regain the title that she never lost?"

As the announcer's voice blared over the intercom, Shelby continued to pace around, until…

"Trururu!" Shelby looked around for the source of the ringing. Finally she came to the sink, noticed that the ringing sound had come from a bar of soap. She picked it up the bar and put it up to her ear just like a cell phone.

"Tori…"

"Hey, Shelby! My friends are going to be in attendance. You have to finish off Brooke Danger as quickly as you can!"

Marx smirked, "This is Brooke Danger we're talking about, but I'll see what I could do! Keep in mind, I am a bit rusty…"

The crowd was buzzing with excitement. They were split into two groups. The fans who were rooting for Danger were dubbed 'The Danger Zone'. Meanwhile, the fans who were pulling for Marx were called Marxists. Among the Marxists were raging and anti-social Jade West, accompanied by the dimwitted but sweet hearted Cat Valentine, nerdy Robbie Shapiro, cool as ice pretty boy Beck Oliver, pretty vain but well meaning Trina Vega and great and talented Andre Harris.

"It's too bad Tori couldn't be here with us," Cat said as she downed a massive bucket of popcorn.

"I can't believe we're about to see Shelby Marx kick some ass!" said Jade

"I can't believe Chris Danger had an illegitimate daughter!" Beck remarked.

"Hey, Trina. Why couldn't Tori be here?" asked a perplexed Andre.

Trina tensed up, looking for any excuse she could find. "Uh...she would have come...but… she has...super dysentery…" she said.

"Dysentery?" Jade questioned.

"Super dysentery!"

Jade was clearly not buying it, but chose not to press the issue, since she didn't really like Tori, and focused more on the upcoming carnage that was to come.

BGM-Ballad of a Champion

Just then, the lights dimmed, and smoke filled the ring. The crowd started chanting "Danger! Danger! Danger!" as Uchu Eien Danger ran down to the ring, fire in her eyes as 'Ballad of a Champion ripped through the air like a shark in bloody waters.. Chants of "Let's Go, Danger!" filled the air, especially since she IS Chris Danger's bastard daughter, after all. "Is that Chris Danger's kid?" said Robbie. "Danger? Hardly know her, hehe," said Trina. "Trina, why did Tori give you her ticket?" said Jade. "Jade, play nice!" said Beck. Hey, look everyone, it's Mia Khalifa!" Cat said in an exuberant tone. Everyone looked at Cat with a curious expression, with Jade asking, "Wait, how do you know who Mia is?"

BGM-Fighting Gold

Now, the arena was bathed in an golden glow as Shelby Marx marched to the ring with purpose set to WeB's cover of Fighting Gold. As she came down the aisle, she took a passing glance at the gang. "Fuck her up, Shelby!" a voice called out. Marx turned her head to see that the voice belonged to Jade. Jade West purred for chaos and destruction, which is why the Cross Fighting Championship appealed to her so much.

"Hey, is it me, or does Shelby kind of look like Tori?" said Robbie. "Holy crap, she DOES look like Tori, it's like a mirror reflection!" Trina was uncharacteristically quiet. Marx shed her robe, revealing a blood red sports bra and white trunks. The crowd came to a fever pitch as she struck a pose with her arms stretched out, golden sparkles raining down, making her look like a mythic battle goddess from . The crowd chanted "Shelby! Shelby! Shelby! Shelby!" Finally, the time had come. A spotlight focused on the announcer, Mike O' Malley.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING! This bout for 5 rounds, 5 minutes each! For the Cross Fighting Championship of the world! In this corner, the challenger. She hails from Los Angeles, California. She is a former CFC Champion. SHELBY….PINK BULL...MARX"

"In the opposite corner, HAILING FROM PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, SHE IS THE CURRENT CFC WOMENS CHAMPION OF THE WORLD. UCHU EIEN DANGER!"

The crowd was going nuts, chanting, "Let's go Danger! Let's go Marx! Let's go Danger! Let's go, Marx!"

The wait was finally over, and with the ringing of the bell, the two fighters closed in on each other! Shelby threw a couple heymakers, which both missed wildly. Uchu, on the other hand, managed to stagger Marx with a couple of bodyshots, and a swift, but devastating kick to the ribs. Trina gritted her teeth as Shelby Marx coughed up a spray of blood. The horn blared out loud, signaling the end of the first round. "Dammit, this is gonna be harder than I thought!"

As the rounds dragged on, much to Shelby's horror, she saw that Danger was just a split second faster, an iota stronger and just a fraction more skilled. As the penultimate round came to a close, Shelby staggered to her corner with ragged breaths.

"Shelby, listen. You don't have to keep going. You have nothing to prove, it's okay!"

It was then that something within her soul ignited like a flame. When her eyes snapped open, they were now a shimmering gold, focusing in on her opponent. When the bell rang for the second round, Shelby Marx quickly zeroed in on Danger, pummeling her with punches and kicks to the skull.

"For this is to work, I must keep hitting her spot!" she thought to herself as she continued driving her knees and fists into Danger's skull. Beck remarked, "Jesus, Shelby. Calm down!" Cat was about to wet herself and Robbie was about to cry. Jade was getting off on this, and on the verge of combusting all over herself. Finally, Marx winded up her fist she snarled out, "GO TO HELL!" as she drove fist into Danger's temple with a sickening crack. Uchu's team quickly threw in the towel as a large pool of blood began to form.

The fight over, Marx held her belt aloft as she looked straight at the Hollywood Arts gang. Meanwhile, in the deepest recesses of Shelby's mind, a small voice cried out, saying, "One day, you guys will know the truth, but not anytime soon!"

We now pull back from the screen, a woman clutched her armrest. "Wow, that Shelby Marx chick is really talented. She reminds her of someone that I used to know," she mused. She then reached into her drawer, pulling out a cracked tek-mate. "Hello, old friend. Time to make the call! They must be ready...for what's coming!"
