Chapter one rose pov
It was my and Alice's first day at forks high school. We are sophomores. We moved here because my stepdad Alice's dad got a new job. Alice was more excited than I was. I hate that I have to start over just because of her dad. Not that Henry is bad, he makes my mom happy but I like my old school. Alices is also a great sister. She is sometimes too much to handle but she also has ADHD so it makes sense she was also given whatever she wanted as a child because her parents would fight over her love. My dad was never really in the picture so it felt good to have a father figure in my life. I look at the time and realize that it is almost seven and I haven't gotten dressed yet. I upend my drawers and pulled out a red dress that was very pretty. Alices always buys me pretty clothes. Our parents got married about four months ago but had been dating for three years before that. "Rose are you almost ready? I don't want to be late on the first day," Alice said. "yeah but can you come do my makeup on for me," I said. "ok course," Alice said before coming into my room. The best way to describe Alice as a pixie is only four ten. She also has a pixie cut that points in a bunch of different directions and piercing brown eyes that look like they belong to a child. We look nothing alike. I know that we are not related but I can wait to see everyone's faces when we tell them that we are sisters. I mean I'm a tall blond with blue eyes. We are both pretty so people tell us. "what are you thinking about sis" Alices said. "School and how people are going to react when we tell them we're sisters," I said. "Yeah it's going to be funny," Alice said laughing. We sat in quiet as she did the rest of my makeup and she also did my hair. She put my hair in a ponytail and my makeup was done in very light tones so that you could barely tell that I was wearing any. It just enhances my natural beauty "Well let's go" I said. I put on some white sneakers. We headed to our shared car. It was a yellow Porsche 911 convertible. It was a very nice car. Henry was a doctor and my mom was a very famous author. My mom also had some money left over from her modeling days. When we got to the school people stared at us. "Hi, I am Angela and I am supposed to show you around," said Angela. "Well let's get going" Alice's saids.
