He jolted awake when felt he felt some dragon poking, when he looks up to see General Hawk looking down on him, he looked like his been through many years with the scars covering the old crimson Skywing. Whirlwind stood up, whirlwind had the average built of a soldier for his Skywing body while covered in armour,

"Sir?" He asked, catching a spear that Hawk tossed at him while he remained still with a straight face, Hawk gave him a frown, oh no did he sleep too much again? Oh that means he'll have to spend the morning with no food, oh that would suck! But much to his relief he turned an replied with a strong yet quiet time as if so not to wake the others,

"Something is happening within the tunnel, I don't know what but I heard something moving in it a minute ago" he said as Whirlwind frowned, something in the cave? He shaked his head in disbelief,

"Impossible sir, we checked all over that cave an there's nothing inside, you checked yourself even" his general nodded at that then turned his head to him,

"True, but I don't want to upset the rest of my soldiers this late at night, at this moment your the only one I can trust to help me investigate the cave, better safe then sorry as my grandfather used to say" Whirlwind gave a nod at this, he'd rather sleep but yet again he doesn't want whoever it or whatever it is in there killing him in his said sleep. The general unfurled his wings an took off, Whirlwind quickly followed him. Whirlwind and his friends were posted at these mountains a week ago cause queen Scarlet didn't want any Seawings coming from the North of her, but half way into the week their felt a tremor going throughout the mountain they were on and a few minutes later they found a cave near the base of the mountains, they searched the entirety of the cave but could only find a ball of large leafs hanging from the caves ceiling by a sticky substance that not even they know, all they know about it though is when the general's lieutenant touched it, he went crazy in a matter of seconds! Whirlwind grimaced as he remembers he and his friends holding him down with the entire platoon an rushed him back to the post, he was alright after the substance was washed off him, he was shaken of course an explained that his mind wasn't his, he could control himself but he had these thoughts that were definitely not his own an animalistic. Whirlwind remembered the words he said afterwards to explain whatever was controlling him was thinking,

"my family! My friends! My race! What has happened to my dragons!" Whirlwind had no time to ponder on those words as he came to a landing next to two spires of mountain an landed at a base of the mountain between them with his general, a gaping cave before them, hiding its contents by darkness until the general lit a torch an entered with Whirlwind quickly following. The cave is steep an almost touched his horns in terms of height, but nothing he could complain about as he and Hawk looked about the silent cave until they came upon the large cave room that even if you extended your wings you'd only be twenty cm from touching the roof. It's the same room that Whirlwind an general found the ball of leafs along with that dreaded substance, but there was one differencs, the ball of plants is torn open an the substance is dripping out while there's a pool of it on the cave floor. Whirlwind heart started to race, something came out of it, he knows it, he turned to Hawk to see him tense an looking about before glaring at him,

"Quite staring an look about!" He growls , Whirlwind was snapped out of his thoughts an nodded quickly an started looking around the room in silence as he kept his senses on alert. After he looked inside the ball of leafs he heard General Hawk say,

"We're in trouble" Whirlwind turned frowning to see his general at the entrance of the room , Whirlwind walked over an saw him looking at the floor, he looked in turn an saw talon prints of the substance leaving the room. Whirlwind looked ahead with fear for his friends before running out, his general called out to him, but they fell on deaf ears as Whirlwind followed the prints all the way... Outside, thunder roared an lit up the sky as he stood at the entrance with signs on the ground that it took off into the air, whatever it was, it's gone now, but that did not give him comfort, while he played many potential scenarios his general arrived as it started to rain,

"... We should head back to camp" Whirlwind couldn't believe his general just said that when something left the cave for moon's knows how long! But Whirlwind started feeling tired and he needed rest so he nodded, but he definitely knew flying is out of the option.

It had to get away, it smelled something at the entrance of the cave it lived in an it had fire! It flu across the sky with its underdeveloped wings as the rain pelted it's sensitive skin, but of course it was giving it nourishment to last a little longer, but it knew sooner or later it was going to have to land or face death by falling. It's eyes looked about before noticing a aqua green dragon, curious, it followed it all the way to a mountain an landed a few feet from it on stone while the dragon landed on mud an started walking away, it gave a quick chase all the while keeping its distance until the aqua blue dragon stopped before a boulder. It tilted its head, is it powerful enough to move a boulder? Then out of sight it saw the dragon pull something within the rocks an the boulder moved! It was now or never it took a deep breath in before dashing into the cave, it heard a gasp behind it as it turned an blew a gas at him before quickly leaving out of sight of the dragon an went deeper into the caves until it found a spot it felt save which is a cave it found above a cave that had burnt an scar markings, the cave was hidden by a large sharp rock that pointed down, there's a hole at the base, but big enough for it to enter, it yawned an lay down with a content purr, it's found it's new home.

Webs frowned an pondered as he looked about then back at the cave entrance that was not hidden, did he close it before he left or did Kestrel or Dune left? Webs shaked his head an frowned more, he feels like his forgotten something but he doesn't know what an this would be the first time he forgot something. Webs then gave a shrug, it must have been not that important if he forgotten it... Right? He casually entered the cave an closed the entrance while holding the scrolls of the world that he can grab, but he still can't shake the feeling something's wrong, but what?

"WEBS GET IN HERE!" the ever familiar roars of his angry Skywing comrade, Kestrel echoed through the cave, Webs sighed, he most certainly wished he didn't come back now as he dumped the scrolls in the library with utter annoyance.
