Summary:

Ai has fluctuating standards when it comes to deciding where to draw the line on what's appropriate and what's inappropriate for Roboppy.

"What's that? Oooh, a fire pole! Can I go for a slide, Aniki? Queen's not going anywhere while we're out on the water, su!"

Ai looked to where Roboppy pointed his animate interest. If it had been possible for a SOLtiS to lose all the colour in its face, he'd have done it.

"Woah, woah, woah! Back up your backup! You ain't doing that!"

"Huh? Why?"

Because that's a stripper pole! Ai winced internally.

Roboppy waited obediently for a reason, a personality trait he'd retained keeping Yusaku's room in order.

"People your age don't…use those things."

"They don't? That's funny! From the footage I watched, kids play on those all the time!"

"No. Now move it!"

"But you said we shouldn't pay attention to human rules!"

"I say a lot I don't mean…" Ai mumbled quietly into his shoulder, and Roboppy didn't hear. "In any event, let's get going! I want to end that woman!"

Roboppy frowned, disappointed he wasn't allowed to take a spin down the pole. "You were okay teaching me the flashier way to play on those betting machines stupid humans get excited about! Aren't those not for kids?"

"Let's go! Roboppy!" Ai repeated, more exasperated.

"Then there's back rub time, su!" Roboppy continued unravelling Ai's logic. "Kids don't have them! 'specially not with grownups!"

Ai curled his android lips in distaste, more so at himself than his crude companion. "We weren't in human form then. It doesn't count."

"It doesn't? Are you – Aniki, are you leaving me?"

"Oi. You're just copying an episode from our soaps now, aren't you?"

"Correct! How'd I do?"

"I'm rivetted by your performance," Ai laid it on heavy with the sarcasm, which Roboppy didn't understand.

"I can change this body if you prefer me different, Aniki!" his sidekick offered.

"No! For the last time, let's get going!"

"Hmmmmmm? So you wouldn't like it if I hopped onto you in maid's clothes, Aniki? Okay! I'll be Sister Mary Roberta! She doesn't get much notice, su!"

Ai pulled Roboppy toward Queen's quarters to commence their first strike against SOL. He thought Roboppy wasn't joking around intentionally, but…
