Ch.1 ~ Yinsen

Pairings: Tony\Natasha, Happy\Pepper

*Flash back to the cave in Afghanistan back in 2008*

Tony stands next to Yinsen's dying side in his Mark one suit, they had built together while being trapped in the cave. "Come on, you're gonna go see your family. Get up."

"My family is dead. I'm going to go see them now, Stark. It's okay. I want this. I want this."

"Thank you for saving my life." Tony whispers to where Yinsen could hear him

"Don't waste it. Don't waste your life." Yinsen said before taking his final breath

After Tony's parents left, he saw Yinsen standing outside a house waiting for Tony to talk to him. He walked over to the man, remembering all those years ago.

"Tony Stark, I see that you didn't waste it. You didn't waste your life." Yinsen smiled

Tony nods "I thought you would've remembered. Thanks to being kidnapped and trapped in that cave with you, I became Iron Man and saved countless people." Tony wanted to explain to Yinsen about the Avengers and all the side missions he had accomplished through the years. Yinsen listened to Tony as he explained the important missions Tony has been on. Tony had a feeling that Yinsen had already known every mission he was on, including what had taken place.

Yinsen smiled "I see you had gotten married, Stark. She was perfect for you, I just feel bad that you left her with your daughter." he said placing his hand on his shoulder

Tony looked up at the older man and sighed "Pepper was perfect for me in more ways than you would know. Yeah I feel bad leaving that burden on Pep to raise Morgan alone..." Tony looked away slightly. Not only did he feel bad about dying on Pepper, but he felt bad that he broke things off with Natasha before they started. 'Hopefully that now since both of them are dead, maybe they can pick up where they left off.' Tony thought to himself right before Yinsen interrupted him from his thoughts.

"I know you love someone else more than your wife, and don't you lie to me." Yinsen looked in Tony's eyes and saw guilt because he did indeed love someone more than Pepper.

Tony nods "I did, it was before Pepper and I. We hooked up at my birthday party, but I didn't make a move after because she loved someone else. It would've never would've worked out."

Yinsen looked at the genius carefully "You don't know if it would've worked out between you and agent Romanoff. From what I've seen of you two together, is that she still was in love with you. Even the day she died, she was in love with you. You're far from being an idiot, Stark." Yinsen reassured him

Tony shook his head "I still loved her when I married Pepper. It almost killed me to see her as a guest at the wedding. I was so close to calling the wedding off, because I was still hung up on Natasha. Hell I'm still madly in love with her, which makes this even more awkward because we're both dead." He looked at his finger with the wedding band on it. He was half tempted to take it off because he wasn't really married since he's dead; and being dead doesn't count for cheating.

"Why don't you talk to her and tell her how you feel towards her. You waited long enough for this Tony. Pepper is going to move on without you, and now you must. Agent Romanoff is still very much in love with you. Take this as your second shot at love. Embrace it like you did with your life and don't waste it Stark." He smiled softly at Tony.

Tony looked confused for a second but then he understood what the older man was talking about. "I know that my wife has my daughter if that's what you mean about her moving on." He liked busting Yinsen

Yinsen shook his head and tried not to laugh before telling him the truth "I know that, but I wasn't talking about that. She's going to replace you with someone you know, and don't be surprised about it. Don't worry, he'll take great care of her, Morgan, and Peter."

"Oh let me guess is it Rhodey? He always had a crush on Pep."

Yinsen shook his head "It's someone else." he stated sternly

"I don't know who else it could be, I'm stuck." Tony thought about it for a few seconds "Oh nevermind I think I know who it is."

"Who?"

Tony tapped his chin "Agent Phil Coulson."

Yinsen shook his head "No he loves someone from S.H.I.E.L.D. named May but she doesn't know yet."

Tony thought again and then his face fell "Happy?"

Yinsen nodded "Are you okay, Stark?" he noticed the sudden facial change on Tony

Tony nods "I should've known because of how he acted with Pepper at the funeral. Now tell me how do you know all this?"

He shrugs "I got this when I died, I can see into the future. I don't know how or why." Yinsen explained

Tony nods softly as he listens to the older man "Is there anything else I should know?" He asked, being curious about what else he knows.

Yinsen shakes his head softly "There's nothing else that you need to know." He lied to the Avenger not wanting to tell him something important, knowing that he should find out on his own.

Tony looked up at him curious "What is it? I know you're keeping something from me."

"There's something but I can't tell you. This is something you have to find out for yourself." Yinsen wasn't going to tell him something that Natasha should tell him for herself.

Tony crossed his arms "What are you hiding!?" Tony raised his voice a little not causing a big scene

"I can't tell you, but I know who could." Yinsen looked down, as if he said to much already

"Amuse me, who?" Tony asked tapping his foot

Yinsen looked up and said, "I already told you more then you should know. I'm not allowed to say anything else." He happened to see a teenage boy about thirteen look at Yinsen and nodded before walking away to go talk to his mother.

"Tell me... What's so important?" Tony asked again, wanting to know what was so important.

Yinsen shook his head "I can't tell you but it has something to do with your past." He went to walk away but Tony held his wrist

"What do you mean by my past? How far are we talking?" Tony questioned

"I'm talking about back in 2010. Now you tell me what happened that year." Yinsen smiled softly knowing that was the year he got Natasha pregnant with a boy.

"Ah where to start... I was dying because of the reactor, Hammer copied my suit designs... Natasha went undercover as Natalie, and Pepper and I hooked up."

"You're right Tony, but you're missing something here." He hinted at the dead billionaire

"Oh yeah, how could I forget... I hooked up with Natasha, but that didn't go anywhere. We had mind blowing sex that night..." He smirked about the memory of having Natasha.

He rolled his eyes as Tony mentioned the sex. "Well you can have all the sex you want with Romanoff now. You can finally be truly happy with her. Don't worry about Pepper, she's safe with Happy, I see a lot of love in their future. Not to make you feel uncomfortable but I see them getting married with a possibility of having a kid."

He knew that this was supposed to happen if he went first. "It doesn't bother me about them. I know Happy is capable of taking care of my Pep, and now I get the best of two worlds. I had Pep along with Natasha, imagine if I was married to both of them. Better yet imagine if I got both of them pregnant at the same time."

Yinsen rolled his eyes at the dead billionaire as he listened to what he just said to him. 'Oh Stark, the things you will find out.' He thought to himself before he patted his shoulder "Well I think my wife is calling me. You know where to find me if you need me." He looked over where his wife was

"Yes, I sure do. It was nice talking to you Yinsen, I'll talk to you later. I should try finding Natasha." Yinsen nodded before patting his shoulder again leaving. Which led Tony to be alone to himself before he left to find Nat.
