Why was he watching the sunset instead of practicing as the tenth had told him?
I didn't know it but anyway it felt good to take a little rebelliousness to be able to appreciate the beautiful combination of colors that formed in the sky after six thirty in the afternoon. He closed his eyes and sighed, when he was seven years old, he and his mother began to observe this beautiful work of art with the only exception of having rehearsed at least two hours before in front of the piano; Both sat in elegant ivory chairs that the servants always positioned on the balcony every day just for a better view.
Now that he remembered her, he no doubt wondered if she would be proud of someone who changed his character frequently, going from being an innocent child to an immature and troublesome teenager to a more promising adult in his role as a right hand, serious and disciplined before all was his way of saying with few words that he respected them but without getting older as in the case of Reborn-san and his beloved boss, Sawada Tsunayoshi.
He still remembered when the stupid and perverted doctor that he had as a teacher years ago told him that he would never manage to earn a position in the underworld of the mafia and much less as second in command, provoking the reason for his endless annoyance towards that womanizer and one of his main reasons for going to Japan to meet vongola's next successor, to enter the same school and classroom as him, instantly realizing that he was useless. Or, he thought of himself until his own dynamites cornered him at recess, and the chestnut himself was his savior from certain death.
From that day on he became his protector and companion, swearing with his own life that he would be for him in good times and in bad.
And as expected he did... but now he was off, the last mission he was assigned a month ago cost him part of the calf of his left leg. Green, Spanner and Choichi or better known in the mansion as the "three mad scientists" had built an artificial one with which ina few weeks he could walk as if nothing but would have to work hard to achieve that goal.
Tired and frustrated from falling all the time, he decided to relax and that's why he was like this: looking at the black sky and with some stars.
"It's dinner time, Gokudera-san"
"I understand"
"Do you want me to take you to the dining room, Gokudera-san?"
"I'd rather do it on my own if it's not too complicated, Kusakabe-san," he replied as he grabbed the thruster rings to back up and turn right to start following him.
"I bet Kyou-san will be very happy for her to stay again."
He clicked his tongue and looked away from the back of the pompadour's hair, he hated that the fighting maniac's subordinate frequently reminded him that his leader was delighted to have him in that place all the time, but it's not like he could do something about, after all, he had volunteered in front of everyone to take care of him while he recovered and even though he didn't want to admit it out loud, they were ... Couple.
They had been dating for five years and he couldn't help but blush every time Hibari invited him to various fancy restaurants or went out somewhere away from all the herbivores who supposedly dared to destroy his beloved peace, being that every time they saw each other he would kiss his left hand as a sign of the great affection he had for him. I was nervous and eager for her return.
But his trip was interrupted when he caught a white letter resting on the edge of a ledge placed to his left, he stopped and approached there, grabbing the envelope and looking carefully how in the middle there was a small purple heart, however he reduced his importance and proceeded to open it, having the surprise that inside there was only one paper that on the way back said the word "back" in Japanese, he took a step back and turned around, then he would explain to Kusakabe-san the reason for your delay with some silly excuse. He continued from the front, seeing that now on the ground there was a long path of those letters with a purple heart in the middle and he lifted the closest one to open it, stumbling over the same content as before.
He followed the path and turned right. He despised the damn wheelchair with all his soul and more because where he and his partner lived, for a short time, it was too big and moving was extremely tedious; he reached the end of the hall and took the last one there, opened it and turned the paper over, detecting that there were two keys: one purple and one red, apart from the fact that only the word "room" was written. He raised his head, noticing that on his left side there was a door that he tried to open with the first key but when he saw that he did not even flinch, he put the purple one and turned it to the same side.
He walked in and looked around, he really didn't remember this room, but it was nice the way it was decorated anyway.
A few minutes passed and I heard how someone moved the door to the point of closing it "this was not right" he frowned and began to analyze the situation and then calmed down, channeling his flames towards his ring making them immediately surround said object. However, I fade when I recognize the silhouette of the person behind him.
"Scared, herbivore?"
He shook his head, seeing how the black-haired man approached to be in front of him to take his hand with his and bring it to the level of his lips proceeding to kiss her carefully, as if he were wrong with the force he was going to break.
"Still can't move, herbivore?"
"Tsk, shut up." He removed his hand from the opposite one and looked down at the red carpet on the floor. He didn't want her to see him blush or embarrass himself, because his pride wouldn't allow it.
Despite this, he couldn't help but close his eyes as he felt the incessant pain in his left wrist as he was roughly pulled by the cloud flame wielder, falling onto his chest. Now the tall, stoic, stocky man in the elegant black suit held both wrists gently.
Restless and uncomfortable as he caught his breath on his neck, he fainted and decided to raise all his doubts before the cold-eyed one.
"Why the hell did you do that!?"
"I'm going to help you herbivore."
"What?"
He didn't keep looking as his lover began to back away as he pushed him to walk, scared by the action and the possible consequences it would bring, he resisted the force, causing Kyoya to grab him like before.
"I-It hurts ... Get me off you, you fucking idiot of confrontations!"
"If you didn't resist so many herbivores, I wouldn't have to hurt you."
"... You don't have to do this."
"Hm. I know but I want to do it, shut up or I'll bite you to death."
At a slow pace they began to walk through the spacious room, the grip became weaker and weaker as the seconds passed, arriving as it was previously, a buzz began to house where they were thanks to the feathered bird belonging to the highest, miraculously not singing the old school hymn where he attended at age fifteen so words weren't necessary at this point.
He stopped looking as he took each step to raise his head and watch carefully how a mischievous smile formed on the opposite face when he saw them make an advance, in addition to implying that he looked a little funny for his concern.
"Are you afraid of what might happen if I let you go, herbivore?"
"Not..."
"Herbivorous."
"Maybe, b-but it's because with you you never know." Hibari, hearing that, laughed gracefully.
He loved when his herbivore was involved in this plan, guarding his own fears and complaining about the work of others, however there was no problem ... After all, he already knew what to do in these kinds of positions when doing unforeseen things.
"Hayato…" He called in a deep and intense voice, at the same time that he stopped, causing the minor to collide with him and tremble instead. Something was happening. "Do you trust me?"
"I do not understand your question."
"I'll ask you again. Do you trust me?"
Again the seriousness completely invaded the features of his face, observing any reaction that in his herbivore would provoke thanks to the question that would give way to what in a few minutes he was about to do.
This would define everything.
"What do you say, Hayato?"
"Yes, I ... I trust you, Kyoya."
"So ... Let's get on with what we started, Hayato."
"It's okay."
Once again they headed for what looked like a waltz, pausing every now and then so that their love could pick it up with more grace.
"Herbivorous"
"Yes?"
"Listen to me carefully," he said calmly as he gently released the silver-haired man's hands, going to the bed to sit on the edge with his arms outstretched. "Walk towards me."
"Not."
"Why not?"
"It would be stupid, I'm twenty feet from you, I'm not going to make it."
"Do you consider yourself a useless herbivore due to your loss?" Bring your left hand to support your chin. "You probably no longer serve to be the omnivore's right hand man."
"What the hell do you think you're saying? I am the only one who can represent and play that role!"
"Prove it," I challenge him. "Walk towards me, it doesn't matter if you fall... I'll be there to catch you, Hayato."
He looked down and witnessed the robotic part of his leg with vilification, he looked back at the one with the metal eyes and clenched his fists, he wanted to break the beautiful smile he had in one fell swoop. He took a step with his good leg and nothing, now it was the turn of the other, he staggered out of the margin but did not falter and smiled triumphantly; repeated the safest pattern.
He had finally made it after so much effort and mindless tantrums.
"On your face Kyoya, I did-!" He stopped when he saw his face approach the ground at high speed and closed his eyes, waiting for the impact but opened them after about ten seconds and did not suffer any pain.
"You did well herbivore, you exceeded my expectations."
"T-Thanks for hugging me.
"I told you I wouldn't let you fall, herbivore."
"C-Can you let me go please?"
"Hm, it's okay."
Now separated, he proceeded to turn, turning his back to the other to avoid seeing his flushed and embarrassed face, the heat he felt when his body and Hibari's were close to remembering all the times that they were one; always showing him his most embarrassing and pleading features, wanting to feel more of that overflowing pleasure that completely succumbed him.
On the other hand, the black-haired man was taking a small purple box out of his pants pocket.
His plan was not that difficult, he just had to get Hayato's long-awaited "yes" and everything was resolved, however, he had been thinking about this plan for more than two months and had not done it yet, not to mention that after the following month Some insignificant herbivores find themselves daring to hurt what was his and since he was blinded by resentment, he completely forgot about his mission, which was to propose to his beloved.
He had the support of all those herbivores who were totally irrelevant but he could not help but be surprised "although without showing any factor that dethroned him from his place as a carnivore," when it was Mukuro himself who gave him the idea to commit, reaffirming a million times who was the first fan of the couple they formed.
Crouching down with one knee and the other in front, he lifted the box so that it could be seen with the naked eye and continued.
"Hayato."
"W-What?"
"Turn around," he asked cordially, seeing how his partner paid attention to what he was saying.
"What is this?"
"Find out," he smiled. "Use the key."
She looked at him again, noting that to open that little chest she needed a key affirmatively, so she took out the one she hadn't used until now, put it in, and froze instantly.
"Do you want to marry me, Gokudera Hayato?"
Mute and unable to process what was happening, he stopped when he saw the wonderful ring in front of him: were the stones that decorated it diamonds? He took those thoughts and analyzed everything again, his heart began to beat rapidly and his mouth did not articulate a word. He felt as if someone had thrown an ice cube at him by surprise.
However, Kyoya, receiving no reply, sighed, "was it too early?" He was turning into a huge jerk, probably five years wasn't enough and he screwed up. I just didn't want to lose it.
All his senses were activated when he observed attentively how the black-haired man got up and closed the box "he was ruining it" with no option or alternative that he could harbor in his head, he released the object and approached placing both hands on each cheek and touching his lips with its opposite, forming a tender kiss on the part of the two that after a while was prolonged to a more wild and promising one.
"That's a yes, right, Hayato?" He asked amused, continuing to caress the slim waist with which he carried his herbivore.
"I love you, Kyoya," she whispered softly as she hugged him, hiding her face in her carnivore's shoulder.
"Hm. I love you too Hayato, my beautiful herbivore," the hug responded, relieved to have him forever.
Mr. Hibari Hayato is how they would now meet their future husband, securing and biting to death anyone who dared again to harm their herbivore.
There would be no mercy.
