Hello all Storm here with a new story! Actually it's a rewrite of "Lord of Hate", given that story had several moments that really didn't make sense, along with Naruto going from being a loyal and king Padawan, to immediately wanting to kill all the Jedi. This rewrite will hopefully correct that, while also showing Naruto's background from when he first joined the Jedi and help show the events that will mold him into becoming the Lord of Hate once again. So, without further ado.

Located in the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy was the Saijo Sector, while within this sector was the Faldos System home to the planet Faldos. A dirty backwater world that was mostly used by smugglers to sell stolen weapons, armor, and technology. Faldos sat on the very edge of the galaxy, making it even more removed than most of the Outer Rim Territories.
Though at the moment, a ship was heading towards Faldos carrying two passengers, both of whom were going to Faldos on an important mission. With the two passengers being members of the Jedi Order, the peacekeepers of the Republic, who wielded the power of The Force.
The two Jedi were Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi.
"Master, why exactly are we going to Faldos?" Questioned Obi-Wan, looking at his Master, wondering why they were going to Faldos, given how out of the way it was, even more so than most of the Outer Rim Territories, and that it was used only by smugglers.
"You already know why my apprentice; we're going here to bring in a potential initiate to the Jedi Order." Qui-Gon replied, since they both already knew the reason why they were going to Faldos, having received their mission from the Jedi Council before leaving.
"Yes, I know the reason we're going, but not why we're going specifically. Wouldn't this be something that's handled by the Acquisition Division and the Jedi Recruiters? What reason would we have to find this potential initiate?" Obi-Wan asked, finding it strange they were chosen to find, only for his Master to let out a sigh and shake his head.
"Because the people we will be meeting are Mandalorians, which alone will make them wary of Jedi showing up to bring their child into the Order. The other reason is that the Recruiters were already sent to bring the youngling in, only they instead tried to kill him." Revealed Qui-Gon, having been made aware of this before being given the mission, while Obi-Wan was shocked and disgusted that the Recruiters would try to kill a youngling.
"Why would they do that?! They're meant to bring younglings back to the temple to be trained, not try and kill them! Is it because they were Mandalorians?!" Obi-Wan asked, thinking they tried to kill the child because he's a Mandalorian, given how the Jedi and Mandalorians tended to be on opposite sides during conflicts.
"No, no, nothing like that. The reason was that this child possesses an unnaturally powerful connection to the Force, specifically a connection to the Dark Side." Qui-Gon replied, which only shocked his Padawan even more, as he wasn't expecting to hear that of all things.
"It was also this attempt on the child's life that caused his parents to take him to Faldos, to protect and hide him from the Jedi Order." Added Qui-Gon before shaking his head, knowing that will have also soured things for them before they even arrived.
They'll be lucky if the parents will at least hear them out, that is if they don't try blasting them on sight.
"And…we're now being sent to try and recruit him?" Obi-Wan asked in worry, having the same thoughts as his Master.
"Hopefully yes. Though this did bring up concerns with the Council, learning about a child that has no training yet possesses such a connection to the Dark Side, that one would think he was a Sith Lord. Which also lead to a vote on whether the child would be recruited or terminated. Thankfully, it was voted for the former, after Master Windu's own connection to the Dark Side was brought up, as well as how he's been working on ways to use for the betterment of the Light Side and the Jedi Order." Explained Qui-Gon, glad that it was voted they'd recruit the child rather than terminate him, doubting he would have been able to accept such an order.
Obi-Wan nodded slowly at his Masters words, concerned at this news and how easily it could have been a termination mission, rather than a recruitment one.
Though unknown to the two Jedi, they were being tailed by another ship containing another group pf Jedi. But unlike Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, these were part of a group known as Jedi Shadows that worked directly under the Council of First Knowledge. With the Jedi Shadows having been created with the purpose to destroy anything and everything connected to the Sith and their followers.
With this group having learned of the child possessing a powerful connection to the Force and the Dark Side. Leading to them secretly following after Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to destroy the child before he could become a threat.
*Later*
After arriving on Faldos, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan left their ship to begin gathering information on where the Mandalorians were located. With some credits needing to be handed to get some of the people talking, along with subtle uses of The Force for those that refused bribes.
"Master, while I know why we're trying to recruit this youngling, why would his family even speak with us? Even if we found them, what's to stop them from opening fire when we arrive, especially since the Recruiters already ruined first impressions." Obi-Wan said, still unsure if this was a good idea, given that if they managed to locate where the Mandalorians were hiding, he wasn't sure they'd be open to speaking with them.
Even more so, since they're more traditional Mandalorians, where fighting and killing their enemies are basically their culture and religion.
"I understand your concerns Obi-Wan, but it's for that reason that we were chosen specifically to find and meet with the Mandalorians. As it turns out one of the boy's parents is the cousin of Satine Kryze, someone we're both familiar with. Given how we helped her in the past, it should at least help in them hearing us out at least." Replied Qui-Gon, shocking Obi-Wan that one of the Mandalorians was also Satine's cousin.
"Plus, I don't think she'd be very happy to learn her cousin was responsible for our deaths. Wouldn't you agree my apprentice?" Qui-Gon asked rhetorically, while giving Obi-Wan a knowing look, making the Padawan looking away with a flustered expression.
"I-I doubt they'd even know of us having helped Satine in the past Master. Given their differing views on being Mandalorian." Said Obi-Wan, with Qui-Gon nodding while still looking at him knowingly.
"Perhaps you're right and they'll have no idea. But perhaps Satine chose to stay in contact, despite their desire to continue embracing Mandalorian Traditions and their warrior ways. And I'm sure she'd have told them of the Jedi who helped her and protected her from bounty hunters and assassins." Said Qui-Gon, while mentally smirking at his Padawan.
"Let's just try to find them first." Obi-Wan said quickly, eager to change the subject.
The two Jedi continued gathering information until they were finally able to locate where the Mandalorians were hiding. Finding them hiding out in a small, forested valley, looking to be out in the open where anyone could find them. Though Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan could see the numerous ridges and ledges around the valley, giving anyone a perfect view of the location. And making it where any sniper could see anyone entering the valley and pick them off before they even realized what happened.
Which nearly happened to the Jedi, only being able to get out of the way in time thanks to The Force, as a red blaster bolt impacted where they'd just been standing.
"That's your one warning! Either start talking on why you're here and how you found us, or the next two shots are going right through your heads Jedi!" Someone shouted, a female given the voice, from one of the ledges, as Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan slowly got up and raised their hands.
"We've come here in peace! We didn't come here to fight or attack you, like the Jedi Recruiters did!" Qui-Gon said, while looking around for any sign of the sniper before they both heard the sound of a jetpack and someone landing behind them.
"Turn around, slowly." Said the person, a man, with both Jedi turning around seeing a Mandalorian aiming a blaster pistol at Qui-Gon's head and a flamethrower gauntlet at Obi-Wan.
With them hearing a second Mandalorian landing behind them and immediately taking their lightsabers, neither of them making a move to reclaim them; knowing it'd only end in their deaths.
"The last Jedi we met said they came in peace and were trying to recruit our son. Then they tried killing him, I'm sure you know how that went for them." The man said, all of them knowing it only ended in their deaths.
"So, what exactly is stopping us from killing you both now, while I add your little laser swords to my growing collection?" Demanded the woman, preferring if they just killed them now.
"You have my word; we did not come here with ill-intention towards you or your son. I am Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, and this is my Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi." Qui-Gon replied slowly, wanting to show them they meant them no harm.
"We swear, we only came here with the intention of wishing to recruit the youngling here to join the Jedi Order. All we ask is you at least hear us out before making any decisions." Said Obi-Wan, both Mandalorians looking at them for a moment, before the man lowered his weapons and holstered his pistol while removing his helmet, revealing his spiky blonde hair with two bangs framing his face and blue eyes.
"You're the two Jedi that helped Satine." Stated the man, before nodding at the woman, who reluctantly lowered her rifle, which separated into two blaster pistols that she placed back in her holsters, before removing her own helmet, showing her long bright red hair and purple eyes.
"That's correct, I take it you are her cousin?" Said Qui-Gon, hoping they would now be willing to hear them out.
"Yeah, I'm Minato Kryze, this is my wife Kushina Vizla." Minato introduced, with Kushina walking around them to stand beside her husband.
"You're not getting these back, until I say so." Kushina said, holding up their lightsabers, refusing to give them back their weapons, even if they did help her cousin-in-law.
"Fair enough. All we ask is for you to hear us out, if you don't wish to let your son join the Order then we'll leave." Qui-Gon said, with Obi-Wan nodding in agreement.
"Right. Follow us then." Replied Minato as the two Mandalorians lead the Jedi to one of the cliffsides surrounding the valley, with a wall of vines hanging across it, pulling back part of them revealing a hidden cave.
"Just another warning, either of you try using The Force on us, whether to mess with our minds or hurt our son, I'll kill you both." Warned Kushina, refusing to take any chances of more Jedi hurting her son.
"Like Master said, we mean you no harm." Obi-Wan assured, with the redhead not looking convinced as they lead them into the cave.
It wasn't long before they arrived in a large, spacious cavern that looked to have been modified for defense and act as a makeshift home/base. With Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan seeing two other people were present, along with the boy they came here to try and recruit. Seeing the first was another woman wearing Mandalorian armor with shoulder-length red hair and black eyes. While the second was a five-year-old girl with long, untamed red hair and dark brown eyes.
And the boy they came here to meet looked to be three-years-old and exactly like his father, with the same spiky blonde hair and blue eyes, while his face is the same shape as his mother's. With the addition of three whisker marks on his cheeks.
"This is my sister Honoka and her daughter Tayuya. And this is our son, Naruto." Kushina said while smiling at Naruto, who ran up to his parents only to stop and back away at seeing the two Jedi, remembering what happened the last time Jedi showed up.
"Greetings, I am Qui-Gon Jinn and this is my Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. And if you don't mind me asking, your last name is Vizla? Are you related to Shae Vizla, or Mandalore the Avenger as she was later known as?" Qui-Gon asked, wondering if they were related to the past Mandalore.
"Yes, she was our ancestor. Keep that in mind, along with how many Jedi she killed." Replied Honoka, also wary of the Jedi after hearing of how the Recruiters tried killing her nephew.
"Let's get back to the reason you're here. You want to get Naruto to join your Order, we want hear why we'd let that happen and what guarantee we'd have that he'd be safe." Said Minato, getting back to the matter at hand.
"Of course. I'm sure your opinion on the Jedi has been ruined due to the actions of the Recruiters, but I assure that not all Jedi are like that. It was just a surprise to learn of Naruto's powerful connection to The Force, particularly the Dark Side, something that's unheard for such a young child to have. If you allowed your son to join the Jedi Order, we would help learn to control his abilities, while not falling to the temptation and power the Dark Side would grant him." Qui-Gon explained, knowing that was the main concern of the Jedi Council, that with Naruto's already powerful connection to the Dark Side, it wouldn't take much for him to succumb to it.
Even worse, should he find a Sith Holocron and be trained by the Sith Lord who created it, which could give rise to potentially the most powerful and dangerous Sith Lord in the galaxy.
"And what happens if he uses the Dark Side? If he has as strong a connection to it as you say he does, then it's likely Naruto would end up using it, intentionally or otherwise." Said Honoka.
"There is another Jedi Master, Mace Windu, who has a similar connection to the Dark Side and has been working to use it for the betterment of the Republic and the galaxy. Should Naruto join the Order, he will also be trained to use the Dark Side for good." Replied Qui-Gon, with the parents and Honoka trading looks before looking back at the Jedi.
"Say we let Naruto join; would we still be able to see him?" Kushina said, knowing if they couldn't see their son, then they weren't going to let the Jedi take him.
"That…may be difficult as the Jedi frown on things such as connections, believing bonds between family or partners could lead to the Dark Side. If Naruto were to have gone with the Recruiters, it's unlikely you would have seen him again." Qui-Gon said slowly, while Kushina's hands immediately went to her blasters before she was stopped by her husband.
"And given he's already connected to the Dark Side?" Said Minato, seeing the Jedi Master was going to speak more before Kushina tried shooting him.
"Given young Naruto's already strong connection to the Dark Side, I believe an…exception could be made in allowing you both to join him on Coruscant." Added Qui-Gon, given that with Naruto's connection to the Dark Side, the Council had, reluctantly on some parts, agreed that it'd be better if they didn't give him any more reasons to further embrace that connection.
One of which being to allow his family to still see him, to give him more personal reasons to protect the Republic and peace in the galaxy.
As the discussions continued, Obi-Wan looked over at Naruto playing with Tayuya, still finding it hard to believe a child could have such a powerful Force Signature and connection to the Dark Side. But seeing him now and getting a good feel for his connection to The Force, Obi-Wan could practically see the Dark Side flowing around him. Part of him having thought reports of his connection to the Dark Side having been fabricated, but now saw they were completely true.
It made the Padawan wonder if this is what it'd be like to stand in the presence of a Sith Lord, or if he was merely just sensing the Dark Side. Rather than feeling the full weight of decades of training granting one the power to use it and bend it to their will.
'It's as if the Light Side cowers away from him, refusing to touch something bathed so deeply in the Dark Side.' Thought Obi-Wan, still having trouble believing it, despite seeing it for himself right now.
"How do you even know Naruto has this powerful connection to The Force? Don't all of you Jedi have strong connections to it?" Honoka asked, wondering how they'd even know Naruto had a strong connection to The Force at all.
"Yes, but only after many years of training. Though even then, not all Jedi could grow to become powerful in using The Force. A Jedi's connection to The Force is measured by the number of Midi-chlorians inside their cells. The number is tested through a blood test, which is how we find Force-sensitive children and see how strong they are and could be. Before the Recruiters tried…killing him, they did perform a blood test on Naruto and sent the results back to the temple. Naruto possesses a Midi-chlorian account of over twenty thousand, higher than any Jedi in history; including Master Yoda, who originally possessed the highest until we learned how many Naruto had." Revealed Qui-Gon, with Obi-Wan being shocked at this news, not expecting Naruto to have a Midi-chlorian count higher than even Master Yoda's.
Qui-Gon had also been surprised to learn this, with him having even briefly thought that Naruto could be the Chosen One, destined to bring balance to The Force. Only to soon dismiss that idea, as while he had the highest count of Midi-chlorians to date, his connection to the Dark Side made it unlikely he was the Chosen One.
But while Naruto may not be the one destined to bring balance to The Force, that didn't mean he still didn't have potential to be a Chosen One. Given Qui-Gon knew the Sith had a similar prophecy, only rather than it centering around one who would bring balance, it instead spoke of the Sith'ari. Someone the Sith consider the perfect being, who has freed themselves from all restrictions and reached the highest level of power.
If Naruto's high Midi-chlorian count and connection to the Dark Side meant he was the prophesized Sith'ari, then Qui-Gon knew how important was that he did join the Jedi Order. With him having even planned to take Naruto on as his Padawan, when he's older; Knowing by then, Obi-Wan would already have become a Jedi Knight, with him already being close to the level needed. Giving Qui-Gon the chance to take Naruto on as his new Padawan and help guide him away from such a fate, and use his power for the good of the galaxy.
"I know you have no reason to believe us, but believe this, without training your son will never be safe until he learns to control his abilities. His potential alone could lead him to becoming one of the most powerful and dangerous Dark Siders in Galactic History. And should he gain access to a Sith Holocron, he could become the next Dark Lord of the Sith, one comparable to the Ancient Sith Lords." Qui-Gon said, wanting to show them what could happen if they didn't have Naruto join the Jedi Order.
"It was only by putting it to a vote that the Jedi Council even agreed to let him join the Order, many of them were reluctant, some even wishing to have him killed to stop him from becoming a threat. I don't know how the more radical members of the Order would take it if you refused. But if he's brought into the Order, he can be protected from these radical elements." Added Qui-Gon, which only angered Minato and Kushina.
"And what if these elements just use that as a chance to kill him in your temple?!" Kushina demanded, since it seemed like the perfect chance that any radical elements could take the chance to kill Naruto, if he joins the Jedi.
"She's right, there's even less guarantee that Naruto would be safe if he does join the Jedi Order. If you want him to go with you, then not only would we be going as well, but at least one of us would be with him at all times and allowed to use any means necessary to keep him safe. That's the only way we'll even consider letting him go with you." Added Minato, now feeling even less willing to let them take Naruto with them.
Before either Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan could say anything, they both felt a sudden disturbance in The Force, with them soon realizing where the disturbance came from.
"We've been followed!" Obi-Wan said, standing up realizing that someone had been following them to Faldos.
"What?! You were followed?!" Shouted Kushina, angry and worried that they were followed, possibly by those that'd want to hurt or kill Naruto.
"Yes, and I must ask you return our lightsabers as our followers appear to be Jedi Shadows. Members of a special group of Jedi that were created to eliminate everything and everyone connected to the Sith, including those that could become Sith like your son." Qui-Gon said, knowing they needed their weapons back, with Minato, Kushina, and Honoka being horrified to hear this.
"Tayuya! Take your cousin and hide now!" Honoka said urgently, picking up Naruto and handing him to her daughter.
"Mom?" Tayuya said in worry at what's suddenly happening.
"Just listen to your mother, Tayuya. And Naruto don't worry sweetheart, we won't let anything happen to you." Said Kushina, smiling reassuringly at her son.
"What's going on?" Questioned Naruto in worry.
"Nothing, you both just need to stay here, while we deal with some problems." Minato replied as the three Mandalorians put on their helmets, with Kushina reluctantly returning Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan's lightsabers.
The five of them rushed outside, where they were greeted with the sight of twelve Jedi Shadows, all of them with their lightsabers already pulled out and activated. With Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan also recognizing who all of them were, as well.
Taria Damsin, Maw, a Cathar named Mizuki, Itachi Uchiha and Shisui Uchiha, two rare exceptions where family members joined the Jedi Order together, Aoi Rokusho, Sasori, an Anzat named Fū, a Gand named Torune, Kinoto, a Mirailan named Tsuchinoe, and the obvious leader of the group, Danzō Shimura.
Many of them Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan recognized as extremists among the Jedi Shadows, with Danzō being one of the worst. As while most Jedi Shadows were meant to eliminate Sith and their followers, Danzō believed in eliminating all threats to the Jedi Order, whether they were Sith, other Jedi, or not even connected to The Force at all. Along with taking the Jedi Code much further and believing in the total removal of emotions from Jedi to the point they don't feel anything.
"Danzō, what is the meaning of this?" Qui-Gon said, looking at them all warily, knowing Danzō would be the only one who'd get them all here.
"We are doing what's necessary and eliminating a threat to the Order. The Council were fools to even suggest the boy be brought in to be trained, not seeing that doing so would only be giving him the control he needs to destroy us." Stated Danzō.
"You're going against the Council by doing this. We are here to recruit the youngling, so that he could be trained to use his power for the good of the Jedi and the Republic. Just because he's connected to the Dark Side, doesn't mean he will become a Sith or Dark Sider." Said Qui-Gon, hoping to end this peacefully.
"Naïve and foolish to the very end Qui-Gon, such beliefs will be the death of you. Now you two can either step aside and allow us to deal with the threat, or you can die alongside it." Danzō said, not caring if they had to kill their fellow Jedi as well if it meant dealing with Naruto.
"Why are we wasting time?! I say we just kill them all right now, before hunting down the little brat and rip him apa-" Said Mizuki, not caring about killing a threat or anything, only eager for all killing that he can do without anyone stopping him.
Though he was cut off, when Kushina immediately drew one of her blaster pistols and shot him in the head, killing the Jedi Shadow.
"And I think if you're going to kill someone, kill them! Don't stand around talking about it!" Kushina shouted, angry at these bastards coming here to kill her son, while happy at the excuse to kill one of them for opening their mouth.
This lead to the Jedi Shadows, except for Danzō, Itachi, and Shisui, to attack Kushina, Minato, and Honoka. With the Mandalorians using their jetpacks to get some distance away from the Jedi, while opening fire at them with their blaster pistols.
"Itachi, Shisui deal with the traitors." Danzō ordered, the two nodding as they leapt towards Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, Shisui taking the former while Itachi took the latter.
Activating his lightsaber, Qui-Gon blocked Shisui's strike, before raising his hand to Force Push him away, only for the Uchiha to counter with his own Force Push. With the two struggling to gain the upper hand against the other, until Qui-Gon managed to parry Shisui's lightsaber and went to incapacitate him. Which Shisui jumped to avoid and flipped over the Jedi Master and went to strike him in the back, with Qui-Gon managing to block it with his lightsaber as they began pushing against each other.
"Shisui, you can stop this now. You know this is wrong, killing a youngling simply for a power he was born with." Qui-Gon said, trying to get him to see reason, knowing out of all the Jedi Shadows here, Itachi and Shisui were the only two who're not agree with killing a child, only being here because they were ordered to.
"Maybe, but even if he's a child now, what about what he'd grow into. The power he possesses, the connection to the Dark Side, it could lead to the enslavement of the entire galaxy if he became Dark Lord of the Sith." Stated Shisui, while not agreeing with wanting to kill a child, he also couldn't ignore that he could grow to become a threat.
The two then broke apart as Qui-Gon lifted up a large boulder with the Force and tossed it at Shisui, with the Uchiha slicing through it with his lightsaber. Only for Qui-Gon to have flipped over him while he was distracted, and knocked his feet out from under him. The Jedi Shadow managing to recover and get back to his feet, pushing Qui-Gon back and tried attacking his legs, which was blocked by the older Jedi.
"That's why it was agreed he would join the Order! To help learn to control his power, to defend the galaxy from actual threats. Think Shisui! Would you even be able to call yourself a Jedi after acting like this?! Seeking to eliminate any perceived threats, even if it means killing younglings?! The Jedi would be no better than the Sith if we condoned such actions!" Argued Qui-Gon, while seeing his words were starting to get through to Shisui, only for him to be forced back when the Uchiha ripped a tree out of the ground and launched it as his back.
Forcing Qui-Gon to jump away from the tree, before having to clash against Shisui again when the Jedi Shadow was on him immediately.
"I'm sorry it had to come to this, but I have my orders." Shisui said, not liking it, but didn't have a choice.
"You still have a choice that only you can make, to choose to do what's right. Please, make it before it's too late." Qui-Gon as their lightsabers clashed against each other.
Meanwhile, Obi-Wan and Itachi were moving around the valley working to get an advantage over the other, only to see they were nearly evenly matched.
"I never thought you'd be willing to seek the death of a youngling, Itachi." Obi-Wan said as they tried forcing each other back, while knowing that Itachi didn't enjoy violence and preferred peaceful solutions.
Having originally intended to be a Jedi Consular, if not for his Jedi Master and the Council of First Knowledge has pushed him down the path of a Jedi Sentinel; believing that Itachi's talents and abilities would be better suited as a Jedi Shadow.
"Whether I like it or not, someone with that kind of power and connection to the Dark Side will always be considered a threat. No matter the kind of training they receive, they won't be able to ignore the temptation and power it offers." Replied Itachi, before trying to throw Obi-Wan back with The Force, only for the Padawan to counter and instead aim a Force Push at his feet knocking him off balance.
"Then what about you, Shisui, or Master Windu?! He has a connection to the Dark Side and trains to use it; while the two of you, yourselves, possess an even stronger connection. Yet both of you have never shown any sign of falling or desiring to learn more about it." Argued Obi-Wan, since Itachi and Shisui had their own connection to the Dark Side, one even stronger than Mace Windu's connection.
"This child, yes he possesses a connection to the Dark Side stronger than any I've seen before, but he's still just that, a child! None of us know what he grow up to be, whether a Jedi, Dark Sider, or even a Sith Lord! But we'd never know if you kill him, taking away his chance to prove everyone wrong! That he can be a Jedi!" Obi-Wan said, only to jump back and block Itachi's strike, when he leapt at him with an overhead slash.
The Uchiha using the momentum to flip over the Padawan and try hitting him from behind, only for Obi-Wan to kick his leg out and knock Itachi back.
"And what happens if he does become Sith? That even with all the training and lessons from the Order, he still becomes Dark Lord of the Sith. What will you do then should he seek to enslave the entire galaxy?" Challenged Itachi as they clashed again.
"Then we'd have to live with that choice and either try to make sure that never happens, or ensure there will be those that will fight to free the galaxy from the Sith, like in the Old Republic. But whether that happens or not, sometimes you have to take risks to see what will happen. Just like what Master Qui-Gon and I are doing in trying to recruit this boy, just like the Jedi took with you and Shisui after learning about your power. Was the Order wrong to take a risk with you, Itachi?" Obi-Wan replied, seeing Itachi was beginning to think over his words.
While with Kushina, Honoka, and Minato they were keeping their distance for the most part from the Jedi Shadows. Keeping them back with blaster fire, while using their shield emitters to block the blaster bolts that the Jedi deflected back at them.
Before Minato saw an opening and launched his grappling line at Aoi's lightsaber, momentarily surprising the Jedi Shadow that it didn't cut through, only to then be yanked towards the Mandalorian. But was able to regain his baring and tried throwing Minato back with the Force, only for him to stand his ground and pulled him along.
"You Mandalorians should just give up, your little toys can't matchup against the Je-" Aoi taunted, only for him to be silenced when Minato pulled him close enough to stab his vibroblade up into his mouth and into his head.
"You guys really do talk too much." Stated Minato, dropping the corpse before activating his flamethrower when Fū and Torune jumped at him, forcing both Jedi Shadows back.
Kushina, meanwhile, had pulled out her own vibroblade to block Taria's lightsaber strike, when she moved around to try attacking from behind.
"None of you have to die, we just want the boy." Said Taria, before jumping back when Kushina tried shooting her in the head.
"That boy is my son, and I'm sure as hell not letting any of you so much as get near him!" Kushina retorted, angry that she really thought they'd just hand over Naruto like that.
"One that'll grow into a threat to the entire galaxy with the power he contains!" Taria retorted as she blocked Kushina's blaster bolts.
"You know, you're sounding just like the last Jedi that tried killing him. Here let me show you how well that turned out for them!" Said Kushina, before she pulled out an all-to-familiar hilt, which soon lit up with a familiar red energy and formed a whip, much to Taria's shock.
The Jedi Shadow just barely able to raise her lightsaber to block Kushina's lightwhip when she tried wrapping it around her neck. Before crying out, when the Mandalorian then got in close and smashed her fist into her face.
"Got this from a Dark Jedi, I killed a while back. I have to say, if there's one thing you Jedi actually did right, you certainly knew how to make some fun weapons." Stated Kushina, cracking her lightwhip before launching it at Taria again.
With Honoka, she was dealing with Kinoto and Tsuchinoe, keeping the Mirailan back with her flamethrower and Kinoto back with her repulsor. Before Tsuchinoe managed to leap over the flames and move close to strike her. Only to be shocked when Honoka managed to grab his lightsaber with her hand, something that should have been impossible.
Before he could react, Honoka then delivered a quick punch to his neck, causing the Jedi Shadow to gag and clutch his throat before he was silenced as the redhead stabbed his vibroblade into his neck.
"Bet you've never encountered someone with crushgaunts, before!" Honoka said, before turning to Kinoto, who was now more wary of her weapons.
Back with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, the Master and Padawan had rejoined each other with them both now staring down Itachi and Shisui.
"Itachi, Shisui stop this now, hasn't their been enough senseless death today? And for what, because of a youngling that may become a threat? The Jedi Shadows are meant to target Sith and their followers, this boy is neither of those, nor are the rest of his family. Both of you can help end this now, before any more lives are lost." Said Qui-Gon, hoping to make them finally see reason, as Itachi and Shisui traded a look.
"You know myself and Master Qui-Gon, do you truly believe we would be here now, if there was a chance he would be a threat or that there was no chance he could become a Jedi?" Obi-Wan added, also wanting to prevent any more death than those that have already occurred.
The two Uchiha's thought over it for a few moments, before eventually lowering their lightsabers.
"Do you really believe he could control his power?" Questioned Shisui, making Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan lower their weapons as well, seeing they finally got through to them.
"I do." Qui-Gon replied, believing that with the right training, Naruto could learn to control his abilities and become a powerful Jedi.
"…Very well, if you believe this then we'll stand down." Itachi said, much to their relief, only for them all to tense at feeling a sudden disturbance.
Before Shisui suddenly pushed Itachi out of the way, just as a lightsaber came flying through the air, cutting the older Uchiha through his back and chest.
"Shisui!" Itachi shouted in shock and horror at seeing his cousin suddenly be killed, while Danzō held out his hand as his lightsaber came flying back to him.
"I'm disappointed in you both. I believed both of you understood the need to eliminate all threats, but it appears your emotions have clouded your judgment more than I originally believed. A mistake I'll be rectifying with the rest of the Jedi when the time comes." Stated Danzō, refusing to let the traitors stop them from killing the boy.
"Danzō! You'll be answering for your crimes before the Council!" Said Qui-Gon, raising his lightsaber again, only to immediately have to block the Jedi Shadows strike when he charged him with surprising speed.
"The Council is being filled with nothing but fools, if they'd be willing to let a threat such as that boy live! Once I've dealt with you traitors and those Mandalorians, I'll be ensuring the Jedi Order becomes what it was meant to be!" Danzō retorted, before throwing his hand back when Obi-Wan and Itachi tried attacking him, throwing both of them back before focusing his attention back on Qui-Gon.
The two clashing their lightsabers against each other, trying to throw the other off balance and give them an opening, with Qui-Gon starting to find himself pushed back. As despite being older than him, Danzō was still a powerful Jedi and not to be underestimated. With only his Padawan and Itachi recovering and coming to his aid helping him regain an advantage. But even then, Danzō still proved to be more than a match for all three of them.
Back with the Mandalorians, they were starting to have some difficultly, as the remaining six Jedi Shadows were now working together to surround them. Keeping the three boxed in and making it hard to use most of their weapons, without worrying about hitting each other.
"What I wouldn't give for some whistling birds, right now." Honoka muttered, wishing they had some whistling birds to deal with all of the Jedi at once.
"Naruto!"
Though at suddenly hearing Tayuya's voice, the three Mandalorians tensed, before their eyes widened at the sight of Naruto and Tayuya running out of the cave. The latter chasing after the whiskered blonde when he escaped her and ran outside.
"We have to get back!" Tayuya said, grabbing Naruto to pull him back inside, so he wouldn't get hurt.
"Sasori, Maw, deal with the target!" Said Taria with both Jedi Shadows breaking away from the fighting to deal with Naruto, with Tayuya pushing her cousin behind her.
"Get the hell away, you assholes!" Yelled Tayuya, glaring at them only to be thrown back by Maw.
"We'll deal with both of you runts! But first the boy!" Maw said, bringing his lightsaber down towards the frozen Naruto.
Only to cry out when Honoka threw her vibroblade into his back, before using her jetpack to land in front of him, pulling the blade out and stabbing him in the head.
"Get the fuck away from my daughter and nephew!" Honoka said, kicking Maw's corpse away and turned to Sasori, launching her grappling line which wrapped around his lightsaber.
Only for Sasori to be prepared and used The Force to lift her up and remove her helmet, before pulling her towards him. Honoka just barely able to avoid losing her head, but cried out when the lightsaber cut through her left eye.
"Damnit!" Honoka shouted while clutching her destroyed eye, only to scream in pain, when Sasori then cut off her right arm as well, further incapacitating her.
"Mom!" Exclaimed Tayuya, looking at her mother in worry and anger at what the Jedi just did.
"You son of a bitch! Get away from the-" Kushina shouted, only to gasp when Taria stabbed her in the back.
This also leaving Minato open at seeing his wife be killed, with Torune decapitating him when his back was turned. With Naruto and Tayuya both being horrified at seeing them be killed, as the remaining Jedi advanced on them.
"M-m-mo-mom? D-d-d-da-dad?" Naruto stuttered, looking at his parents bodies, hoping that they would get back up, but knew that wouldn't happen.
"I'm gonna kill you all." Honoka swore, glaring at the Jedi, angry at the death of her sister and brother-in-law.
"You'll be seeing them again, soon enough." Stated Sasori, raising his lightsaber to finish her off.
But before any of the Jedi Shadows could react, they all suddenly gasped as they were lifted into the air, as they felt themselves start choking from their throats being constricted. While Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Itachi, and Danzō all immediately froze at feeling a wave of pure darkness washing over them, having never felt power from the Dark Side like this.
"Oh no." Qui-Gon muttered, looking at the scene with wide eyes, as he began seeing just how connected to the Dark Side Naruto really was, while seeing that Obi-Wan and Itachi both seemed to be struggling to stand up.
"You…you killed them…" Naruto muttered falling to his hands and knees, feeling sadness, anger, despair, and rage all at once, before his head snapped up and glared at the Jedi.
"YOU KILLED THEM!" Shouted Naruto as the Jedi Shadows all cried out as their bodies suddenly began twisting and cracking, feeling their bones being forcibly broken and shattered.
Only for it to get worse for them as their bodies began compressing in on themselves, until their screams were soon silenced. With their bodies having been forcibly crushed into balls of flesh, bones, and blood.
The sight making Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Itachi look away, only for them to see that during all this, Danzō had managed to slip away and escape. Something that made Qui-Gon mentally curse, knowing that he'll have managed to escape the planet and system by the time they catch up.
'All this senseless death, for nothing.' Qui-Gon thought, sighing as he looked over the bodies, not believing that it came to this.
*Later*
After dealing with the bodies, with Honoka, who was now wearing an eyepatch and prosthetic arm, having collected Kushina and Minato's bodies to be buried.
Once that was done Honoka, looked at Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan with Naruto standing beside them; while Itachi had left on his own, needing some time to himself. While the woman had agreed to let them take him to join their Order.
"I'm sorry this happened, I had hope this would not have ended in so much death." Said Qui-Gon, with Honoka giving a short nod.
"But you have our word, that we will ensure your nephews safety within the Order, and that something like this doesn't happen again." Obi-Wan assured, not wanting anymore deaths to happen, simply out of misplaced fear.
"You better. And don't think I'm agreeing to this willing, the only reason I'm letting Naruto join, is because it's clear that he either joins your Order or they'll hunt him down for the rest of his life, until he's dead. That is the only reason I'm letting you take him, because if there was any other option, I'd take it. So, you will keep him safe or I swear that no matter how long it'd take, I will burn the Jedi to ground for what you've done to my family." Threatened Honoka, not wanting to let Naruto go at all, but knew that he'd constantly be hunted down to be killed, otherwise.
Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan nodded solemnly, before they left to return to their ship with Naruto going with them, the whiskered blonde looking back at his aunt and cousin sadly, before joining the Jedi.
"Come on, Tayuya." Honoka said, gently ushering her daughter along, so they could leave as well, with the young girl nodding silently; heartbroken that she's not only lost her aunt and uncle, but now her cousin as well.
'I fucking hate the Jedi.' Tayuya thought, while mentally swearing to kill any Jedi she meets when she's stronger.
*Timeskip-Four Days*
*Coruscant*
After four days in lightspeed, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Naruto had arrived back on Coruscant, where they headed for the Jedi Temple to meet with the Jedi High Council. Which consisted of twelve Jedi Masters; with them being Yoda, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Depa Billaba, Eeth Koth, Yarael Poof, Adi Gallia, Oppo Rancisis, Even Piell, Yaddle, Saesee Tiin, Ki-Adi-Mundi.
With Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan bringing Naruto before the Council, so they could meet him themselves, before Naruto was dismissed and asked to wait outside for their decision. Before both Master and Apprentice told the Council everything that happened. All of the Council lamenting at the loss of life and badly the mission turned out when it was supposed to be more simple.
"Saddens me, this news does. Regrettable, these deaths are." Said Yoda, saddened at all the senseless deaths.
"We'll need to inform the other temples and the Senate of Danzō's actions; so that if he's found, he can be brought before us to face judgment and punishment." Stated Oppo, knowing how dangerous Danzō can be if left alone for too long, especially now that he doesn't have the Jedi Order holding him back.
"Agreed. This also brings up another matter, The Jedi Shadows as whole. The purpose of the Shadows is to eliminate the Sith and their followers, but the Sith have been gone for a Thousand years, leaving no reason why the Jedi Shadows should continue to exist. I believe it'd be best, if we were to disband the Jedi Shadows immediately; to ensure that something like this never happens again." Plo Koon said, having never liked the Jedi Shadows, given how radical and unstable they have been shown to be at times, with them even being willing to kill their fellow Jedi, should they show the slightest signs of falling to the Dark Side.
Many of the Masters voicing their agreements, believing there was no use for the Jedi Shadows continued existence.
"While I agree with your reasoning Master Koon, the Jedi Shadows that accompanied Danzō were never the most…kind and sane to begin with. The only ones who still upheld the true beliefs and purpose of the Shadows were Itachi and Shisui, the former of whom has even been willing to submit himself for punishment for following Danzō's orders; despite them going against the Council. And while the Sith may be gone, their knowledge and teaching are still out there, waiting to be discovered and give birth to a new incarnation of the Sith Order. Along with there being other threats to both the Jedi Order and the Republic as a whole; many of whom won't strike us out in the open, but will wait and bide their time in the shadows. Whether we like it or not, the Jedi Shadows are a necessary evil." Said Adi, believing that while Plo made some good points, she knew the Jedi Shadows were necessary to ensure that the Sith don't make another comeback; along with dealing any other threats, that're hiding in the far reaches of the galaxy.
"I have to agree with Master Gallia. The Jedi Shadows, while not the most model Jedi, are necessary to deal with certain enemies that are remaining hidden; waiting to strike when we least expect it." Depa added.
"I believe the matter of the Shadows can be discussed another time. The main concern now, is what to do with the youngling now that he's tapped into the Dark Side." Said Mace, getting back to the topic at hand.
"The boy shouldn't be allowed to join the Order, if he's already capable of killing trained and experienced Jedi Shadows with no training of his own. What will happen when he's been trained to better use The Force?! How do we know, he doesn't already seek the destruction of the Jedi?!" Said Saesee, not hiding his distaste for Dark Siders, no matter who they are.
"Master Tiin does bring up a good point. The child has already had Jedi attempt to kill him on two separate occasions, the second of which ended in his parents' deaths. Such an event will not be easily forgotten nor forgiven, even if the ones responsible are already dead." Mundi added, having doubts that letting Naruto join the Jedi Order would be logical, given what's happened.
"Masters, if I may speak." Said Obi-Wan, stepping forward, getting the Council's attention.
"Speak, you may, young Kenobi." Yoda replied, allowing Obi-Wan to speak his mind.
"I know it's not my place, but I believe that Naruto should be allowed to join the Order; despite him now having tapped into the Dark Side. While Master Mundi and Master Tiin are right that the death of his parents will not be forgotten nor likely forgiven, that doesn't mean it has to define how he sees the entire Jedi Order. By letting Naruto join, not only will he be taught to control his abilities and resist falling further to the Dark Side, but he will be shown what the Order is really like, rather than seeing us as the same as those that killed his parents. He will grow and learn, to see the peace that the Jedi help protect. If we reject him now, then that will only solidify his views of the Jedi; that we are all the same as those that killed his parents and crippled his aunt. And if we let ourselves be controlled by our fear, our distrust of the Dark Side, then we may end up repeating mistakes that the Jedi Order had made in the past. Mistakes that only brought us down to the Sith's level, and made us no better than them. Only seeing a child as a potential threat that needs to be dealt with, rather than be nurtured and guided." Obi-Wan said, seeing that many of the Council were at least thinking over his words.
'You'll be a fine Jedi Master one day, Obi-Wan.' Thought Qui-Gon, proud of his Padawan and how far he's come, as he was starting to see that the Council wasn't always right and was starting to think for himself, listening to both The Force and his heart.
"Wise words, young Kenobi speaks. Correct, he is. To join the Order, young Naruto should be allowed." Yoda said, after a few moments nodding in agreement with Obi-Wan.
"Agreed. The youngling should at least be given the chance to prove himself, no matter his connection to the Dark Side." Said Yarael, also in agreement in giving Naruto a chance.
"With the proper guidance, the child would become a powerful Jedi and help defend the Republic." Added Oppo, seeing that Naruto could be a powerful protector to the Jedi and Republic.
Each of the Masters soon began agreeing to let Naruto join the Order, some more reluctant than others, until only Mace was left. Everyone looking at the Jedi Master, who was deep in thought on what to decided.
As after seeing the boy for himself, Mace was able to see that Naruto was a Shatterpoint, knowing that no matter what decision is made, he'll be at the center of many events in the future. Combine that with his affinity for the Dark Side, Mace was tempted to deny him the chance to join the Order. But the Kuron Jedi Master knew that he would be outvoted; and if Naruto is in the Jedi Order, then they'd at least be able to keep a closer eye on him.
"The child will be granted a place in the Order." Mace said, finally making it so all the Council was in agreement.
Much to the relief of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan that the Council was all in agreement before they were dismissed to show Naruto to where the Clawmouse Clan stayed; the clan of Jedi Initiates he'd be joining.
With Naruto not reacting to the news, he was being allowed to join the Order and just followed both Jedi.
"The Clawmouse Clan is just one of many clans that younglings such as yourself are put into, when first joining the Order. Younglings don't have much to do outside of basic training, with morning rituals consisting of Force studies, leading into the midday political science classes and the study of the histories of a thousand worlds and cultures. Following a midday meal, clans then engage in mandatory physical training, honing the Initiate's body into prime condition. In addition to classes, students were required to set aside time for five mandatory meditation sessions each day. Initiates also have a standard dress code, consisting of a tan or gray tunics and pants with accompanying brown leather boots and a belt. The condition of your uniform is to be maintained by their owner." Qui-Gon explained, with Naruto simply just nodding along silently.
"I know this must not be easy for you, with what's happening. But I hope you'll see that not all Jedi are like those Shadows, this can be your home Naruto, if you give it a chance." Said Obi-Wan, looking at the whiskered blonde, who just nodded again.
It wasn't long before they reached where the Clawmouse Clan stayed, with some of the younglings looking over to see the two Jedi and who they guessed was a new initiate. With the members soon returning to what they were doing, except for one; a Togruta girl that looked to be the same age as Naruto, who walked over and smiled at him.
"Hey, I'm guessing you're a new initiate that's joining us." Said the girl, shifting between Togruti and Galactic Basic, showing that she's still learning with the latter, with Naruto nodded slowly as he was able to pick up bits and pieces of what the girl said in Togruti.
Thankful that outside of Galactic Basic and Mando'a, his parents also took the time to teach him the basics some Alien Languages before their deaths, such as Togruti. With the thought of his late parents causing Naruto to lower his head, as he felt tears start to form in his eyes.
"Yes." Naruto replied lowly, with the Togruta holding out her hand.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, I'm Ahsoka Tano. I actually joined not that long ago; I was brought to the temple by Master Plo Koon." Ahsoka said, Naruto hesitantly shaking her hand.
"I'm Naruto Vizla." Replied Naruto, with Ahsoka smiling at him.
"Nice to meet you, Naruto. Come on, I can show you around so you don't get lost, and because we're expected to memorize the layout of the temple, anyway." Said Ahsoka, before bringing Naruto further inside and began showing him around, while introducing him to the other younglings.
So, what did you think, good. Yep now we see some of Naruto's life before joining the Jedi, with him being born a Mandalorian as a cousin of Satine, along with a descendant of Mandalore the Avenger, while the Jedi that bring him into the Order are Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, after the Recruiters tried killing him. With things going somewhat smoothly until the Jedi Shadows arrive (and yes I'm using Naruto characters, don't like it too bad), leading to Minato and Kushina dying, Honoka being crippled, with Naruto tapping into the Dark Side to kill the Shadows, except Danzō who manages to escape. Then we see Honoka reluctantly agreeing to let him join the Order, before we see the trio return to Coruscant with the Council lamenting on the deaths and what to do with Naruto now that he's tapped into the Dark Side, with Obi-Wan showing why he'll one day be known as The Negotiator, convincing the Council to let Naruto join, with him being put in the Clawmouse Clan where he meets Ahsoka. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
Storm out
