Chapter 1

It All Starts With a Bang!

. . .

BANG!

A warm gale of wind rushed all around from the magical summoning circle, a massive cloud of smoke bursting forth to form an obstructive screen surrounding said circle. The person standing right beside the ground zero of the smoke explosion was the summoner Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Valliere, her short form hidden from view by the smoke rushing outwards.

Every second year student watched with either uncertainty or mocking, their minder for the summoning exam attempting to look through the smokescreen as concern and fear danced across his expression. It was well-known amongst the student body that Louise was a girl talented in all her academics. All but in practical aspects. Every, single time, that she tries to cast a spell, all she does is make explosions out of smoke. Fortunately, said explosions are not fire-based, but they still pack a considerable oomph to them.

When every other student thought she would fail even the Springtime Summoning Ritual, the teachers believed even in the slightest that she would succeed. However, all hope for Louise's future in continuing her scholarship in the academy seemed to be lost when all she made was another smoke cloud. But something to Jean Colbert, seemed off. Instead of only one signature of heat that signified that the pinkette student was alive through the thick smoke, there seemed to be another signature, albeit it was like a flickering spark threatening to die any moment now.

. . .

The smoke cleared quite a bit to reveal Louise, aside from the scarce bruises and cuts she was completely fine much to the balding professor's relief. However, Colbert would stay wary at whatever the student has summoned, just in case it was hostile.

. . .

He can make out human form lying prone through the smoke, and when all the smoke cleared the human is revealed to be a female with red hair. Their body was very voluptuous, even more so than that of the Germanian rednette girl's amongst the crowd. And the woman the pinkette summoned was sleeping on the dirt with only just red lace lingerie on.

"Would you look at that! The Zero has summoned a sleeping commoner whore as her familiar!" With a quip from another student, the entire sophomore body would burst into laughter, save for a blue-haired mage that was just reading a book for the entire ordeal while her Germanian friend just stared enviously at the woman in the middle of the summoning circle.

Louise stared in horror at the almost-nude woman at the middle of the circle, before she turned frantically to their minder. "Professor Colbert, I want to have another try for the summoning! I can't have this commoner as my familiar!"

This would only serve to make him sigh sadly, which would be drowned by the loudening laughter of everyone else around the pinkette. "I am sorry, Miss Valliere, the summoning ritual is a sacred tradition. It is only performed once, and I'm afraid that she will be your familiar from now on."

"Urgh, what, is with the racket." A deadpanned female voice grumbling in disgruntlement would cut every laughter short, the rednette that the pinkette summoned slowly sitting up on the summoning area. Her eyebrows would be scrunched inwards in complaint, red eyes blearily glaring at everyone in her surroundings through squinted eyes. She would look down at her lingerie-clad body, then at the ground where she sat, before turning to glare at everyone around her.

"I slept in an inn in my underwear, and I wake up in a summoning circle in my underwear. Ugh, what even?" "You have been summoned in the Tristain Academy of Magic by Miss Louise here, and you will be serving from now on as her familiar." Upon the mention of the last word that Colbert spoke, the summoned would immediately back up from the ground with abnormally-wide eyes, unnerving some of the spectating students.

"Whoa, back the fuck up. Why, should I be her familiar?" The rednette would glance at Louise with a wary glare, making the latter stare wide-eyed at her in panic. This would meanwhile immediately prompt a lot of not-so-subtle sniggers, scoffs and giggles from the surrounding crowd.

"See? The Zero's familiar even refuses to serve her!" Another student would remark mockingly, sending everyone else into another round of laughter.

She can smell the anger, disappointment, agony even, reeking from the small form of her summoner. She knows thar the pinkette girl in front of her is struggling and troubled by everyone else around them mocking her. She can sense the power within Louise is like a dying star ready to blast into a supernova, but her control over it is miniscule and pathetic.

Yet everyone all around mocks her summoner for it. But what if somebody knew of the pinkette's power? The world would definitely abuse her for it. How does she know? She's known better, having given part of her own power for her twenty trusted champions to keep the peace on the world.

What happened next? Only two of her champions fought to the end of their lives to protect her gift. Five caved in to their desires to usurp her. The rest? They gave up their loyalty to her so they can keep their cowardly asses alive.

With a sigh, she would kneel on one knee on the ground, looking intently at her summoner Louise. "If a familiar is what you seek, then you shall have one."

She knows she has a world to protect, but if this the pinkette would be abused for use in world domination, she'd rather protect her from abuse than to face a hard choice of letting multitudes of people die before she can even meet an abused Louise.

Almost everyone blinked in surprise and incredulity at the whore's pledge to the Zero, including the pinkette mage herself. Many of the students scoffed and snickered in mocking, while Louise would just let out a indignant, resigned huff as she walked over to her red-haired familiar.

"Consider yourself fortunate, peasant. Normally, you'd never in your life have a noble do this to you." She would then softly place the tip of her wand on her familiar's forehead before chanting.

"My name is Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Valliere. Pentagon of the Five Elemental Powers. Bless this humble being, and make her my servant." After chanting, she would remove her wand from her forehead and lean down in front of her. Both her hands moving to touch her familiar's rounded face, the rednette's skin quite rough to the touch.

Louise would start to blush in embarrassment, her dreams of her first kiss with Wardes under the starry night crushed by the necessity of binding this girl as her familiar. The mage would then glance down for a moment and see the valley between the girl's massive cleavage boind by lingeries, making her redder in shame and also green in envy.

"Okay, why is my master leaning in for a kiss. Is this how familiar bindings work now after I disappeared for like, five decades? I mean, this isn't my first time kissing a girl. Maybe it's Louise's first time?" She would wonder in her head with amusement as the pinkette's plush lips made contact with her own, dry pair. She can literally feel the warmth glowing off her summoner's blushing face.

"Yup, it's her first time. Might as well point that out." As Louise pulled away with a blush that rivalled the color of apples, she would raise her right brow as she let her mouth curl into a slight smirk.

"First kiss?" "S-Shut up, familiar!" The pinkette would retort immediately as she backed off embarrassingly from her own familiar. "As expected, she retorted really fast there! But, it just wouldn't do if I just get called 'familiar' all the time, yeah?"

"Hey, I have a name, you know." She would quip immediately after the mage's retort, the mage raising an eyebrow this time at her.

"It is. . ."

"Aeterna Flamma."

Hey.

I have things to say.

Yes, this is a Zero no Tsukaima, indeed.

I plan on heavily retconning my Azur lane Constitution fic.

I'm lazy in general.

Read and review. No flaming. See ya next chapter. Or maybe on the first chapter of the retconned AL fic.
