Disclaimer: I own nothing. Also 4, things. 1, Izuku is 18 and has full control of One for All and the other quirks inside of it. 2, One for all isn't killing him like it was it's other users. 3, I will edit the story of skullgirls a little so Izuku could have a few specific characters as love interests. (Like making It so squigly is 17 and not dead). And 4, The war between the league of villains and the heroes, after the battle is over he falls into a portal.
Prologue: The Injured Hero.
Deku, the successor of One for All, the new symbol of peace, had finally won against All for One and Shigaraki. He saved them both from themselves and finally ended the war that lasted months. He could finally rest, he lied down on the ground as the other heroes gathered up the rest of the villains.
As he rested, he fell unconscious, slipping through a portal that opened beneath him, the portal bringing the hero into a world not much unlike his. Or at least as similar as it COULD get. The hero dropped from the sky, into the water in front of a certain restaurant that was just closing.
As he hit the water his body made a huge splash, blood flowing from his wounds into the water around him. The young man starting to drown, unable to do anything about it due to being unconscious. Meanwhile a girl, with fish like features, was panicking, as she just watched the young man fall into the water and not come up for a minute.
"Nadia! Yu-Wan! Help! A man fell into the water! He's not coming up!" The young woman said as she opened the door suddenly. Yu-Wan, a fish-like man, sensing the urgency dropped what he was doing and rushed out of the building to see the water turning red.
"He's bleeding too. Gotta get him out quickly." Yu-Wan said before he dived in after the young man. His eyes getting used to the water quickly as he spotted the young man. He was 6'2", was wearing broken red metal around his arms, torn sleeves, a yellow scarf-like cape with two diamond shaped clips.
He also wore a mask and a hood, the hood had rabbit-like ears, and he also had white and blue gloves, black leg brace-like covers, and red armored shoes. Yu-wan grabbed him and dragged him back to the surface, jumping back onto the deck of his restaurant, dragging him inside.
"Nadia, Minette. I don't know cpr." He said sadly, however, Nadia, a cat-like woman with scars on her arms and around her neck sighed and pulled the mask and hood off of the young man. He was handsome, he had soft looking skin, green, fluffy hair, and freckles on his face.
But that didn't matter right now, Nadia began using cpr on the young man, and within a minute the young man was breathing normally, water having pushed itself out of his lungs thanks to cpr. Soon they dragged the young man into a guest room, took off his suit as best as they could.
His body was riddled with injuries, chunks of metal and small rocks stuck in his flesh. The fish man, Yu-Wan, had to call a Dagonian doctor, who swore to secrecy as he helped dig the debris out and disinfect the wounds and patch them up. The young man's belongings were all soaked, aside from a strange rectangular device, what looked like a charger, and his wallet.
Inside his wallet was a student I.D, a regular I.D, and a license of sorts which all showed his name to be Izuku Midoriya, and his age to be 18, born 2XXX.
"This one license. It says it is a Provisional Hero License. It seems this guy is a hero in training from... Japan, wherever that is." Nadia said, looking at the bandaged up hero.
"He looks as though he just came out of a rough battle. It's best to give him rest, we will talk to him about his situation when he wakes up." Yu-Wan said, sighing before he went back to closing up shop. All three of these people, they wondered, just who was this hero?
Chapter 1: Months Later
It had been a whole two and a half months since Izuku had arrived in the world of New Meridian, and he had gotten used to the place quickly. When he woke up, bandaged, and hungry, with a cat girl looking down at him, he was shocked. After calming down, and meeting the other two which helped him, he got an explanation of where he was.
In return he gave many thanks, and apologies for having to take care of him, afterwards he gave an explanation of the world he came from, got his phone charged, and showed them videos, which were surprisingly available despite not being in his world. He got to learn their names, Yu-Wan, his daughter, or daughter figure, Minette, and his other daughter figure, Nadia Fortune.
Nadia was pretty much immortal thanks to absorbing a relic known as the life gem, and she was really into cat puns, or puns in general. Minette was a Dagonian much like Yu-Wan, she was sweet and very shy around Izuku, blushed deeply once she accidentally walked in on him getting out of the bath.
Yu-wan was fatherly towards Izuku, he was proud of his accomplishments in his world, even if he grew worried due to Izuku's slight self depreciating nature. Which he vowed to fix, giving the young man several talks about self confidence. And it worked, Izuku grew more confident as he stayed there.
He started working as soon as he fully recovered and was a great help. He could carry extremely heavy objects without even using his quirk, or quirks. But as for today, it was a day off and he was walking around town, having done some shopping for himself after getting a haircut.
His haircut was an undercut style, managing to comb his fluffy hair back as much as he could. He wore a pair of jeans, a new pair of red sneakers, a white T-shirt with the Kanji for T-shirt printed on it, and a green jacket with the sleeves rolled up partially. He was known to everyone he had met as a handsome young man with a strange yet fitting sense of fashion.
He walked into the Mad Hatter Cafe, spotting one of his occasional co-workers sitting by herself, wearing a hat that covered up part of her hair. She was drinking a milkshake while chatting with a female barista, who noticed Izuku.
"Izuku! Here for your weekly coffee?" She asked with a smile. The woman was in her mid 20's, had orange hair tied into a ponytail, stood at 5'5", and had fair skin. She reminded Izuku of Itsuka Kendo, a student of UA, only shorter. The coworker of Izuku's, the girl who was drinking a milkshake, looked over to The green haired young man and smiled, a light blush filling her cheeks.
"Yeah, it'll help after walking around so much today." Izuku said as he took a seat, sitting next to the coworker of his.
"Hello Filia." He greeted softly to the young woman next to him who smiled at him and he got out his wallet to pay right away for his coffee, something that was respectable to the barista. He paid right away so as to make sure he didn't forget to later. That and he usually only got a cup of coffee anyways.
After his coffee was sat in front of him and he paid the barista, adding a tip to it, he smiled and took a sip of his coffee.
"Aizawa was right about coffee.. it's the nectar of the gods." He whispered silently, something Filia, the girl next to Izuku, had heard.
"Who's Aizawa?" She asked curiously.
"My old homeroom class teacher, always looking like he just woke up and got cases of dry eye a lot. Drank a lot of coffee. Called me "Problem Child" due to how much trouble I got into, I wasn't a delinquent, I just got hurt a lot." Izuku admitted quietly to her and she nodded, having seen some of the injuries he had sustained.
Filia reflected on the time she had spent with Izuku. When she was at work she had to wear the uniform that was required, meaning she couldn't wear a hat. Izuku knew she had a parasite named Samson, a supernatural being that took root on her head and could control her hair.
Samson called him a nerd, which was very fair to him, he did mutter a lot when they first knew each other. But to Filia the muttering spells actually were rather cute, he was passionate about learning more, and he would share stories with her. Stories of when he was at school and how everyone there forgot he was unnaturally strong until it was his turn to clean.
To remember one of his stories, which involved him lifting a couch with one hand as he was vacuuming. Samson definitely did not believe him on that until they saw him kicking out two rather large men who were harassing Minette. Both of them were at least 200 pounds in weight and he lifted both of them with ease, had them pay, then took them out of the restaurant and threw them into the water.
She still remembered the funny "one liner" he gave to them. "You two look like you need some exercise, how about a couple of laps?" Is what he said. Needless to say it was as if he were the perfect gentleman, he didn't harass girls and he would always protect them from the customers who were too grabby.
He had put a dent into the amount of men who actually came into the shop and was popular with women, Filia herself found herself blushing around the handsome young man. But what really shocked her was a moment when she walked in on him changing. He was stretching, as she walked in, he was shirtless, and he had tons of scars.
He had several burn marks on his back, scratches, and marks where gashes were. Then on his arms, they were the worst, his arms had scar after scar on them. Samson himself said that whatever he got those marks from, he didn't deserve them. It was as if he was from an abusive home, she never asked him about it, she was too worried about what she was going to hear.
She shook herself out of her thoughts and found Izuku looking at her closely.
"Are you alright?" He asked softly.
"Y-yeah, just spacing out." She replied, blushing deeply from how close he was, it wasn't too close but still, she felt that being too close to the young man was a crime, only because she saw the looks of jealousy she and Minette had gotten from the other female workers, and the female customers.
Izuku finished his coffee, and he bid farewell to her, apologizing for not staying long, as he just got a call from Yu-Wan saying that he needed some help lifting something. He stood up and stretched a little before he headed back to Yu-Wan's in Little Innsmouth. Filia knew she would see him later, she sometimes shared a room with him anyways, he'd always sleep on the floor when that happened.
Izuku smiled as he got back to Yu-Wan's minutes later, going to the back as he greeted the other workers he moved a couple of heavy boxes, they were deliveries of food for the restaurant's stock. And the day went slowly after that, ending with a quick clean up of shop, and a shower before he ate his own dinner, cleaned up after himself and headed to bed after a few stretches.
