A/N: Hey there, AntiHero here! This is a new fanfic that I came up with while watching MHA with my brother; I started thinking 'how would an Animorph fit into this universe?' After thinking about it for a little while, I decided, "What the heck? I'm not letting someone else do this idea before me!" And here we are. Hope you guys like it, I really think this one's gonna sell it!

Disclaimer – I do not own Animorphs or My Hero Academia; K.A. Applegate and Kohei Horikoshi respectively do!

Chapter1 - Entrance Exams

It was the morning of the U.A. High School entrance exam and many students were walking towards the prestigious school of heroes with the hope of taking the exam and becoming a part of the next generation of heroes. A few of the students who were chatting amongst themselves looked up and saw something peculiar. "Hey, is that a bird carrying a backpack?" someone pointed out.

"Yeah, someone must be using their quirk to make that bird bring it to them," another person reasoned.

Actually, that wasn't the case at all. The bird, or rather the hawk, swooped down and landed behind the bushes and placed the bag down. Its body then started changing shape; first, its feathers were pulled back into its skin, then its body grew drastically in size, and finally the bird features became the features of a teenager with light skin and red hair. Rènhé Ikimono stood up in his bike clothing before bringing out regular clothes, putting them on and pressing a button on his wristwatch. He then got up and made his way to the entrance; as he walked, he felt a tap on his shoulder and looked back to see his good friend waving at him. "Hey Koda, how are you?"

The rock-headed teen responded with sign language, answering the question and asking one of his own. "Yeah, I'm nervous. This exam's supposed to be very hard and dangerous," Rènhé replied. "My mother said if I'm not careful I could get seriously hurt. Guess we can only do our best and hope we get in." Koda nodded and the two continued on into the high school.

The U.A canidates were all gathered together in the auditorium where Rènhé found out that his exam would at Battle Center B, which was a different location than his friend Koda's. After the hero Present Mic had explained the rules, Rènhé changed back into his skin tight clothing and waited outside the door of the Batte Center along with many other canidates. "Alright, this is what Mom trained me for ever since I said I wanted to be a hero. I'm ready!" Renhe thought. He then spotted a tall, glasses-wearing teen scolding a plain-looking boy with green hair that was wearing a tracksuit. "Guess everyone's on edge for this exam."

"OKAY! LET'S START!" Present Mic shouted to the candidates from atop a large tower. "GET MOVING! THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWN IN REAL BATTLE! RUNRUNRUN! YOU'RE WASTING TIME HERE!"

The test takers immediately started running into the battle center, Rènhé included. Pretty soon they all dispersed and Rènhé was wandering around the area; his path was then intercepted by a robot standing on one wheel with two large appendages, both of them bearing the number one. "So, a one-pointer right off the bat huh? Mom said not to take things easy even though this is a test, so I'll start with one of my heavy-hitters!" he thought as his body started to change in size. "Target acquired!" the robot declared as it charged towards him. Rènhé's body quickly morphed into that of a rhinoceros, and he roared before charging at the machine, smashing into it and reducing it to pieces before running in another direction. It wasn't long before more robots came at him and the morpher changed forms constantly from rhino to bull to grizzly bear to elephant, smashing through the one, two & three-pointers he came across. Rènhé continued to trek around the area, having gathered fifty-four points. "Okay, I think I've got enough points, now's a good time to rest up," he thought as he changed back to his human form. But before he could relax, he felt a large tremor and saw some buildings being destroyed as the biggest robot of all tore its way through the battle center. "That must be the zero-pointer."

The enormous machine towered over the candidates before throwing a punch at the ground that caused a shockwave. "Oh man, I bet mom would love smashing this to pieces! I, on the other hand, am satisfied with running for now." The morpher followed the crowd that was racing to escape the giant robot when he spotted the green-haired kid sitting on the floor looking too petrified to move. "What are you doing? Come on! You gotta start running while you can!" he warned the boy but didn't wait for him to actually move. After running for a bit he looked back to see if the kid was right behind him but saw him actually running towards the zero-pointer. Before he could question why, he spotted a brown-haired girl whose leg was trapped underneath some rubble. "He must be trying to save her!" he thought before rushing to aid the girl, too. He got to her and said, "Hold on, I'll get you out!" as he started to morph again. As his body started to expand in size and he grew black fur, he witnessed the green-haired kid jump up to the giant robot's head with his fist ready.

"Smash!" Izuku exclaimed as he swung his supercharged fist and struck the zero-pointer in the head, causing it to immediately crumble to pieces. Everyone watching stared in awe at the amount of power Izuku demonstrated. Rènhé finished morphing, taking the form of a Silverback Gorilla and using his strength to free Ochako from the rubble. The girl then rushed over to a broken part of one of the robots and used her quirk to make it float off the ground with her on it as Rènhé changed back to human.

"JUST ONE MINUTE LEFT!" Present Mic announced.

After destroying the zero-pointer Izuku started to plummet towards the Battle Center, but just before he could hit the ground, Ochako slapped him in the face, allowing her to use her quirk to stop his fall. "And…release," she groaned as she managed to put her hands together. Both she and Izuku stopped floating and she sighed before hurling from the overuse of her power.

"I'm alive. That girl…she stopped my fall again," Izuku thought as he looked over to the brown-haired girl in surprise. "Sure seemed to take a lot out of her, but at least she doesn't look injured. That's a relief." He then started using his one good arm to try and crawl away. "And now, thanks to her I still have a chance to get at least one point before-"

"And that's it! TIME'S UP!" Present Mic shouted as the alarm for the exam's conclusion rang.

The shock from everything that just happened caused Izuku to pass out. All the candidates stood around as some were staring at Izuku, including Rènhé. "Did you see that dude's attack?" one of the test-takers asked.

"I didn't think he had that kind of strength."

"Me either; looked like some kind of reinforcement quirk but it was something else."

"If he has such an amazing quirk, how come he didn't snag any points all day?"

"Maybe he was trying to trick all of us."

"Jokes on him! There's no way he's passing with a zero score like that."

"True, but you gotta admit that was a pretty awesome move."

Rènhé stared at the unconscious Izuku with his own thoughts on the matter. "I thought he was just a scared kid, but he's got some incredible power and he didn't hesitate to use it to save that girl. Too bad he wasn't able to get any points. Though even if he fails today, he can always take the exam again next year when he's more confident in himself."

"Very nice, good work all around," a small elderly woman in a medical uniform said as she walked through the examinees to Izuku. "You're heroes in my eyes, every one of you."

"That Mademoiselle, she's the heart of U.A," a blond teen with a large belt around his waist pointed out to the others.

"Oh my goodness, you were hurt this badly by your own quirk, sonny?" she asked as she examined Midoriya. "It's as if his body isn't used to handling his own power at all," she thought before placing a kiss on the boy's head.

"Uh, what's she doing?"

"You're watching a school nurse in action," Aoyama explained. "The Youthful Heroine: Recovery Girl. Her quirk is a tre awesome boost of healing power. She's the only reason U.A. can hold these reckless exams. Look, she's saving him months of recovery time." Just as he said, Recovery Girl's quirk had restored Izuku's broken limbs to their previous state before using his quirk.

"Alright he'll be fine now. Anyone else injured?" Recovery Girl asked.

"May I take this boy to the infirmary?" Rènhé requested referring to the unconscious Izuku.

"What a nice boy you are. Of course you can, dear," Chiyo replied.

"Thank you, ma'am." Rènhé then morphed into a full-grown lion once Izuku was on his back and raced off with him.

"Did you see that? That guy just turned into a lion!"

"Yeah, I think I saw a bear destroying robots earlier."

"I saw a rhino."

"Was that all him? Does his quirk let him turn into animals?"

"Isn't there a Pro Hero with a quirk like that?"

"Yeah, she's-" Rènhé left before his good hearing could pick up any more comments.

After the exam ended, everyone who took part had to wait a week for their results, so Rènhé used that time to practice a bit more with his quirk. He soared through the night sky as an owl, letting out a screech as he dove and then stopped to let the wind carry him. "Alright! There's no better feeling than soaring through the heavens!" he thought as he did a loop. He spotted his house and dove towards it. As he landed, he shifted back to his human form and picked up his bag from the ground. He pulled out his keys and unlocked his door, stepping inside to find that the whole room was pitch black. "Hello? Mom? Kimi? Why are the lights off? It's so dark in here!" He got no answer and sighed as he went to turn the lights on. As he reached for the switch, something growled and pounced on him; as he turned the lights on, he found that a lion cub had landed on his head.

Gotcha! the cub said through telepathy.

"Alright Kimiko you got me," Rènhé said as he grabbed her and placed her on the ground where she began to purr and rub against his legs. "Do you have to greet me as different baby animals every day? I mean, it's cute and all but just seeing my little sister as a human is nice too."

C'mon big brother, that's no fun. You know you love it when I do this and so does mom! the cub named Kimiko replied.

"Where is Mom anyway?" Rènhé inquired.

Still out patrolling, Kimiko answered.

"You mean looking for villains to beat up," Rènhé said before asking, "Have my results come yet?"

Nope. But don't worry, I'm sure you got in, Rèn-chan, the cub assured him.

"I hope so. By the way, how long have you been in that morph?" Rènhé questioned.

Almost two hours, she replied.

"WHAT?! Change back now! You know Mom's rule: never let it get close to two hours!" Rènhé yelled anxiously.

Relax, I'm just kidding. It's only been twenty minutes since I went lion cub, Kimiko said as she changed back to her human form, which was a blonde girl in a leotard. "You worry too much, that's your problem."

"And your problem is that you care very little about everything other than morphing," Rènhé joked as he entered the kitchen. "So what do you want for dinner?"

"Udon!" the girl requested.

Rènhé nodded and went to make dinner. Once he was done, he gave his sister her bowl, left one for his mother on the table, and ate him own. After dinner, he did the dishes as Kimiko morphed into a rabbit and started jumping around. "I'm going to sleep. Tell Mom I said hi," Rènhé told her before going to his room upstairs. He flopped down on the bed and dozed off shortly; he started to dream, the same dream he's had ever since he turned thirteen. He wandered through a blue-white void where many of his predator morphs were staring at him. Then he spotted the usual red light in the void and walked towards it. The strange feeling he felt grew more intense, like there was a force repelling him from the red space. Just as he was about to reach the space, he felt something wet against his face and woke up. He sat up to see a white wolf pup sitting on his lap with its tongue out. "Kimiko?"

Come quick! Your results came in! Mom wants us to look at them together! Kimiko told him.

"Mom's home?" Rènhé asked.

She's waiting downstairs! Come on! the pup urged while tugging on his shirt.

Rènhé got up and followed his sister to the living room where his mother was sitting on the couch waiting for them. Her hair was in a ponytail as she was still in her hero suit, which consisted of a skintight black leotard with red patterns, thigh-high boots, long fingerless gloves that stopped at her elbows, and to top it off, a large A in a black octagon with long right and left sides and two triangles pointing upward out of the sides was over the same looking white octagon but with the triangles pointing down and it was over another black octagon but with the triangles just pointing out (the Animorphs logo). Kimiko changed back to human while the heroine greeted her children with a smile as she held her son's letter from U.A.

"Hi Mom," Rènhé greeted her.

"Hey kiddo, ready to see your results?" the heroine asked as she held out the envelope to her son.

Rènhé took the envelope and opened it without hesitation, and a small device fell out and landed on the floor as it activated. It projected a holo-screen that had the number one pro hero presenting himself with his famous grin. "Booyah! I am here as a projection, ready to announce the results of your exam!"

"No way!" Rènhé muttered in awe.

"It's All Might!" Kimiko cheered, human once again.

"Well, the big guy himself," the Pro Heroine said. "Didn't expect this."

"I bet you're surprised, young man! Well, you're looking at the newest U.A. faculty member!" All Might declared.

"Is All Might gonna be big brother's teacher?" Kimiko asked.

"Let's watch and found out, dear," the heroine said as she placed her daughter on her lap.

"You're probably anxious to know your results just as I am anxious to tell you what they are, so let's get to it!" All Might continued. "Rènhé Ikimono, you were one of the many candidates who applied to U.A., and as you know only a small amount of those applicants will be accepted and molded into future heroes!"

"C'mon, get on with it!" the heroine yelled anxiously.

"Mom," Rènhé muttered.

"Now for the written exam, you passed with flying colors! Nicely done!" All Might commended the teen. "Now for the practical exam! As you know, points are awarded for every villain robot you manage to defeat, and from your display of fighting capabilities you've earned fifty-four Combat Points! A pretty decent score! However, there was another part of the exam that we neglected to tell you about. A panel of judges witnessed the actions of every participant, and that includes when they try to help others, not just defeat villains." Rènhé Understood the Pro's words as he remembered what he did when the zero-pointer attacked. "You tried to assist one of your fellow examinees and rushed to help another in trouble! These were true heroic acts, the kind that the hero course would never overlook! Saving someone in the face of danger, that's what makes a hero! After all, that's what my Alma Mater stands for! Though your actions may seem small to you, the spirit behind them shined brightly for the judges to see. For this, you were also awarded Ten Rescue Points! Those two scores have secured you a spot in U.A Hero Course!"

"I don't believe it!" Rènhé said in awe.

"Way to go Ren-chan!" Kimiko cheered.

The Symbol of Peace held out his hand towards the screen as though he was offering it to the new U.A student. "Welcome, Rènhé! You're now part of the Hero Academia!" The video message stopped and there was a silence in the room.

"I did it. I got in!" Rènhé whispered with a small smile. He was then tackled into an embrace by his little sister.

"I knew you could do it big brother! You're gonna be a hero!" Kimiko said with joy.

The two siblings hugged as their mother joined in. "Nice work, Renny!" she congratulated her son while ruffling his hair. "My little boy's becoming a man!"

"Mom, don't dote on me!" Rènhé said but didn't really mind. The three continued to celebrate through the night at the joy that their now U.A student is one step closer to becoming the next great hero of society.

A/N: And that's the first chapter! Just to clarify, my OC's quirk works just like the Animorphs' morphing power with just a little…I'll say adjustments cause it is quirk so it'll have its own kind of evolution. Anyway, I hope this turns out to be a decent first chapter I'm sorry it's so short but I figured only a few of the important part were necessary, they'll get better as I keep writing future chapters. Until next time, TTFN AntiHero out!
